Nappa attacked Gohan and Piccolo who shielded Gohan borne the full impact. Piccolo called Gohan to run away and collapsed. Gohan wept and begged Piccolo not to die. Meanwhile, Goku sensed someone dying over the other side. In the dead world, Kami sensed Piccolo’ death and was at his verge of vanishing. In the living world, Piccolo was dying and told Gohan that he was the only person whom he could sincerely communicate with. Piccolo thought of Gohan’s words over the time they spent together and passed away. In the dying world, Kami vanished with Piccolo’s death. In the living world, Gohan emitted powerful ki to 2800 level. Gohan sent powerful attack, which Nappa managed to counteract. Gohan felt ashamed of not able to avenge for Piccolo’s death. Nappa prepared to stomp on Gohan but Goku’s Kinto saved him and Goku confronted Nappa and went to Piccolo’s corpse. Goku also saw Tenshinhan, Chaozu and Yamucha’s corpses. Anger grew within him and his battle level rose. Goku became fast and went to apologise to Kiririn, giving him a magic bean. He also gave Gohan one magic bean. Both Kiririn and Gohan recovered immediately. Goku planned to take on Saiyajins alone. It was the first time Kiririn saw Goku that angry. Goku’s ki made rocks around him rose. His battle level reached 8000. Vegeta told Nappa of Goku’s level. Goku was faster than Nappa whose attacks could not keep up with Goku’s speed. Vegeta was surprised of Goku’s progress. Goku was even able to face Nappa’s attack that posed no damage to him at all. Vegeta told Nappa to keep his cool. Nappa emitted more ki and fought Goku again. Nappa sent a powerful roar of ki at Goku but Goku was able to brush it aside. Vegeta decided to step in to fight Goku. Kiririn noticed that Nappa became scared at Vegeta’s decision to step in.
