Naruto Shippuuden #108: Guidepost of the Camellia

Kabuto was moving through the woods, his followers crashing behind in joy with power of seal curse. In the Konoha base, Sakura told Kakashi and others of Naruto and Guren’s possible location within Sanbi. Yuukimaru told them that Guren was fine based on the status of the crystal. Kiba was worried for Naruto who could be fighting with Guren. Yuukimaru wanted to find Sanbi. Kakashi wanted to rescue Naruto from Sanbi. The teams were mobilized to carry out the mission to save Naruto and to seal Sanbi.

Later, the Konoha ninjas set off. Kiba reminded Shino to get Naruto back. Shino followed Sai and Kakashi on the boat. Hinata, Sakura, Ino and Shizune set off to seal Sanbi. Within Sanbi, Naruto clones were attacked by mini Sanbis. Original Naruto knew it and told Guren. Naruto saw the approaching mini Sanbi followed by semi large Sanbi. Guren planned to fight their way through. She sent her crystal shuriken but with no effect. Naruto was also hit back by Sanbi. So was Guren. Naruto activated clones and carried Guren out of the surrounded condition. In the woods, Kiba, Lee and Tenten were still on the move. Lee was confident that Naruto would be fine. Just then, Kabuto’s men attacked them. They attacked with more strength. Amidst the mist, Yamato, Kakashi and others with Yuukimaru were moving through the lake. Yuukimaru wanted lots of camellia. Within Sanbi, Naruto and Guren were bickering about Orochimaru and Yuukimaru. Naruto warned that Orochimaru was only using people. Naruto moved around to check and was covered in mist. He fell into illusion and saw Sasuke. In his illusion, Sasuke attacked Naruto and cut his cheek. Naruto yelled him to stop and Guren sensed Naruto’s voice. She explored and saw Sanbi’s fog that showed illusion. She heard Naruto calling Sasuke’s name and ran down to find him. Amidst the mist, she found herself before Yuukimaru’s mother again. She wanted to ask her for forgiveness and vowed to protect Yuukimaru for her. Guren wept. Meanwhile, Naruto was fighting Sasuke and told him of his home in Konoha. Guren slapped him awake. Sasuke vanished and so was his wound on his cheek. Guren stated she had seen Sasuke in Orochimaru’s lair and Naruto asked on his condition. She was surprised of his seriousness to get Sasuke back. She sniggered at Naruto’s foolishness. Outside, Kakashi and Yamato dived into the lake and found Sanbi. Yamato trapped Sanbi and Kakashi tried to stab Sanbi with raiki, wishing for Naruto’s return. They swam back to surface and Sai sent camellia into the lake and into Sanbi’s hole created by Kakashi.

Meanwhile, Guren told Naruto that she was the one who attacked and killed Yuukimaru’s mother as well as Yuukimaru’s village even after she saved Guren. Guren had been ordered by Orochimaru to carry out the massacre. Her emotion returned after she met Yuukimaru. She vowed to protect Naruto so that Naruto could protect Yuukimaru for her. Suddenly, they saw camellia, followed by Yuukimaru’s music from outside. He was trying to give them a way back. Suddenly, mini Sanbi attacked them and Naruto used rasengan to create a larger hole for them to get out of Sanbi.

Omake: In the record room, Naruto was complaining his inability to reach the mic when Yamato ranted his loss of his script. Kabuto, Ino, Kakashi and others taunted him. Kakashi returned Yamato’s script back with plenty of graffiti. Yamato protested.

COMMENT: The plot of this episode is not so boring as compared the previous few, especially the part when Guren related her sins to Naruto and Yuukimaru’s attempt to guide them back to the surface.

One Piece Issue #554: Admiral Akainu

Marco turned into fire phoenix and attacked Kizuru. Akainu attacked the giant iceberg from White Beard’s side with volcanic projectiles and the ice evaporated without a trace. The pirates tried to stop the commanders. One of the Marine commanders wanted Marco’s corpse as he was Oars’ descendent. The battle became intensified, as the pirates fought the Marine army. One war ship sank in the process.

Roy was aghast when Riza failed to response to his call over the mic. In the hotel, Ling told them the matter was regarding Lab 5 and Al left off, promising to return. Other place, Gluttony strangled Riza but her dog arrived and saved her in time. Together with another of her team member, they shot Gluttony but with no effect. Roy arrived in time and burnt him away. Riza was furious because Roy had put himself into danger of being suspect. Riza later thanked Roy as they walked through the staircase. Al arrived and asked Roy if the incident was related to Hughes’ death and he agreed. They went together. Barry arrived and Roy told him not to miss sight of his original body. Riza told Al and Roy of Gluttony’s ability not to die and Al told them he was Homunculus. Roy and Riza were shocked. Al told them Homunculus could regenerate themselves. Meanwhile, Gluttony got back to his feet. Roy, Riza, Al and Barry as well as others reached a lab. Barry stormed in and Roy and others took this as excuse to infiltrate the building. They were forced to spill up in the darker part of building and came across Lust. Havoc Jean was shocked to see his new girlfriend a Homunculus. Havoc told Roy that he did not tell her of anything related to work. She admitted she knew Hughes. Roy shot her but with no effect. She showed them her Philosopher’s Stone within her chest. Havoc and Roy were shocked. Roy tried to fight her but she was too fast. Roy broke down water into hydrogen and oxygen and attacked Lust. Meanwhile, Riza was on her move.

Later, the place was badly burnt with explosion of hydrogen. Suddenly, Lust appeared and stabbed Havoc. She stood up and regenerated herself. Roy shot her and pulled the Philosopher’s Stone from her chest, trying to heal Havoc with it. Lust disfigured attacked Roy. Outside the building, Bradley arrived and entered the building, knowing Roy and others were inside. In the dark, Lust prepared to kill Roy. Havoc lost consciousness. Riza and Al found Barry looking down at his decayed body. He told them that with absence of original soul, the body would also die. Suddenly, Lust appeared before them. She prepared to kill another candidate sacrifice. Barry attacked her but his soul was shattered instead. Lust told Riza that she had killed Roy. She was stunned. Riza shot her in anguish but with no effect. Riza wept and fell on her knees. Al shielded Riza and transmuted weapon without the circle. He used his body to take Lust’s blow and urged Riza to run. He vowed to protect her, as he did not want anyone to die before his eyes. Roy appeared and attacked Lust with his flames. He praised Al’s words. Roy had sealed his wounds with his fire earlier. He burnt Lust who screamed in agony. When flames died down, she disintegrated. Her Philosopher’s Stone vanished. Roy collapsed and thanked Al for protecting Riza. He told them that Havoc was still alive. From the dark, Bradley left. It was night when Al returned to the waiting Winry. Winry welcomed him back and yelled at Al’s damage. At the battlefield, the original Barry’s body messed up the seal mark on Barry’s armor, killing him forever. Other place, Armstrong and others saluted as Ed found his father standing before his mother’s tombstone. He was shocked.

Shangri-La #18:

Karin was shocked that Kuniko planned to burn Tokyo. She told them that due to their limited budget, she could rent the materials to them. Kuniko and Momoko were surprised. Karin wanted them to let her know the date and location for action as well a having Kuniko’s knife. She agreed. Karin noticed Momoko’s earring. She started asking Karin what she knew of the earring and Karin was forced to take them to meet Mikuni and Sayoko. Momoko and Sayoko were shocked. Karin introduced Kuniko to Mikuni. Momoko asked Mikuni of her earring. She had similar earring. Kuniko was surprised. Mikuni told her that the earring belonged to her mother. Momoko told Kuniko that the earring was actually Kuniko’s mother. This meant Kuniko and Mikuni were related. Mikuni told them of Miko whom Hiruko currently possessed. Kuniko and Momoko were shocked. Hiruko was still screaming but became quiet when she saw Momoko. She started to talk in Miko’s conscious. Later, Kuniko and Momoko returned to see explosion in Doumo. The poisonous fungi had spread and the young major with others were still searching for more.

In Atlas, Ryoko was told report about the weed. Meanwhile, Mikuni asked Sayoko of her possible elder sister – Kuniko. Sayoko refused to acknowledge Kuniko. In her room, Karin knew there was one more of the knives. In Doumo, the people were having meeting when Kuniko’s grandmother turned up. Kuniko asked her of the earring. She was aware of Kuniko’s intention to burn Tokyo. She wanted to get into Altas to meet someone in return of knowing Kuniko’s plan. She told Kuniko that the latter knew of her. Later, Kuniko talked to the young major. Next day, Momoko, Kuniko and Kuniko went to Altas to see Ryoko. The young major was also there but in hiding. In the office, Kuniko told Ryoko that they were going to burn Tokyo to the ground. Ryoko was not supportive to accept refuges. Young major activated plan B to force Ryoko to agree by activating a bomb inside building. Kuniko challenged Ryoko what she would do if she had internal threats like this if she refused. Ryoko finally agreed to their terms.

Naruto Shippuuden #107: Strange Bedfellows

Ino was ranting while Lee was exercising. Hinata asked Kakashi who just returned with others for Naruto while Sakura asked on identity of Yuukimaru. Yuukimaru was sent to rest. Sakura worried for Naruto and Ino tried to consort her. Kakashi led Hinata, Sai, Hinata, Shizune and Yamato to find Naruto. The rest would protect Yuukimaru. They went on separate ways. In the hut, Ino and Sakura healed Yuukimaru while Tenten, Shino and Lee kept watched. Shino noticed his insects being weakened due to Sanbi chakra. Within Sanbi, Naruto woke confused and remembered himself being swallowed by it. Same time, Guren was moving and met Naruto. She fought him but collapsed before she did. Naruto approached her.

In the cave, Guren’s subordinates scolded Rinji for leaving them to fight alone earlier. Rinji examined them and walked away. They found him acting weird. Suddenly, Kabuto appeared and stared at them. He lied them that they were lying soon. They begged him to save them. He lured them into accepting the curse seals.

On the rooftop, Lee was exercising. In the hut, Sakura was still thinking of Naruto’s words to give Yuukimaru a place where he could return to. Just then, Yuukimaru woke and he panicked after finding his camellia crystal gone. Flashback, Guren found herself standing in the snow watching Yuukimaru and his mother together. She screamed as Yuukimaru’s mother turned into Orochimaru. Guren woke to see Naruto looking at her. He had bandaged her wound. He told her that they were the only two being swallowed by Sanbi. She was determined to get out. She wanted to defeat Naruto while inside. Naruto saw themselves being surrounded by mini Sanbi. He pulled Guren into run. She pushed him away and ran along with him. In the hut, Yuukimaru found his camellia crystal. He told Sakura and others that it was given by Guren. Sakura remembered that Naruto had said Yuukimaru was being used. In Sanbi, Naruto and Guren managed to dodge the pursue. Guren wondered aloud why he helped her. Naruto questioned her of her intention to use Yuukimaru. She yelled that Konoha already had Kyuuki and still wanted Sanbi. Naruto confessed he was the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki. Guren was shocked. Naruto told her that he could not control the Kyuubi power without hurting his friends. He regretted telling Yuukimaru about the place to return phrase. Guren was surprised. Naruto told her that he did not want Yuukimaru to become like him. Guren told him that she was taking Yuukimaru’s mother’s place for Yuukimaru to return to. Naruto decided to look for exit. He created thousand clones to find the exit.

At the cave, Kabuto gave curse seals to Guren’s men and they screamed as they evolved. He commanded them to get Yuukimaru back. Meanwhile, Kiba and others were still looking for Naruto. In the Sanbi belly, thousands of Naruto clones set off. Guren was surprised and followed, hoping to reach Yuukimaru. In the hut, Yuukimaru knew Naruto and Guren were in Sanbi’s stomach, still well and alive. He told Ino and Sakura.

Dragon Ball Kai #18:

Goku and others stayed in hospital to recover. Bulma entered telling them to watch news on TV. A Saiyajin spaceship was found and Bulma was confident to get it with her remote control. She tried and the spaceship exploded. Bulma was aghast and started blaming Karinin. Mister Popo arrived and gave them a spaceship. Bulma was confused as Popo needed her help in spaceship. She was shocked to see him travelling on carpet and he took her to the spaceship. Other hospital occupants were surprised. In a flash, Bulma and Popo reached a highland. He led her up the cliffs and showed her a spaceship that appeared abandoned long ago. She went to examine it. It was found by Kami 100 years ago. Kami could not remember how it got there except his parents had promised to take him back via the spaceship but never returned. One day, Kami found it. Popo opened the machine using password ‘Piccolo’. Bulma was told that something terrible happened on Namek planet and Kami’s parents sent Kami to Earth. Bulma realised she needed Namek language to operate it. Popo knew how to speak. He tried and it worked. They tried Jupiter and reached there in a flash. Bulma was delighted.

In the hospital, Bulma told others of the good news. But Popo did not want to go with them. Bulma was shocked. Popo volunteered to teach them the language. Bulma wanted someone to go with her. Gohan wanted to go but Chi-Chi tried to advise him against it. Gohan insisted he was fine. Chi-Chi protested but Gohan insisted on going. Chi-Chi was shocked of his rebellious and insistence. Gohan stated his intention to be useful. His grandfather supported Gohan. Bulma reassured Gohan would be fine. Bulma worked on a translation machine over 10 days. When the day arrived, Gohan and Chi-Chi came to Roshi’s place to join Bulma. Chi-Chi put Gohan in formal suit. Karinin, Gohan and Bulma boarded the spaceship. Bulma was in bad mood. She took off in a rush before Karinin and Gohan could take their seats. The spaceship took off to space. Bulma stormed off to change her clothes. Gohan had prepared his fighting suit similar to Piccolo’s. Bulma had changed into something normal for she felt stupid for wearing space suit alone. All of them watched the scene as the spaceship moved on.

Code Geass R2 #21:

Taya and C.C. sat before the awaking Suzaku. Taya told Suzaku that her identity now was Lelouch and Nunnally’s mother. Other place, Kallen wanted to make sure of Lelouch’s status or she would find it impossible to move on. In the illusion world, Lelouch demanded to know why his father – the emperor did not save his mother when she was assassinated. They began to talk of human masks of identity. Outside the sealed cave, Taya (Lelouch’s mother’s soul) borrowed C.C.’s strength and entered the illusion world. Taya collapsed in Suzaku’s arm while C.C. watched. In the world, Lelouch was shocked to see her late mother standing in front of her. The emperor explained that Lelouch’s ‘death’ was created to allow a lie for the emperor to gain the throne in his competition from his brother. She put her soul into Taya who unfortunately witnessed the incident. V.V. was the one who pulled the trigger on Lelouch’s mother. Lelouch was angry with his parents’ abandoning of him and Nunnally as well as the pushing of blame on the late V.V.

Outside the hideout, Suzaku asked C.C. to send him into the illusion world. In the world, Lelouch was shocked to learn that Nunnally’s blindness was just an effect of geass effect. Lelouch was also being made use to lure into gaining geass from C.C. Just then, C.C. and Suzaku arrived. The emperor and Lelouch’s mother activated their plan via C.C’s forehead mark. All over the world, sky changed. The emperor planned to remove human kind’s fake masks. Lelouch’s mother was mad with happiness, as the new world was about to begin. Suzaku asked Lelouch if he was going to use Nunnally as an excuse for his aim and Lelouch admitted he did it for himself. Lelouch told his parents that he did not want that kind of new world. He demanded to know who his parents were really concerned after they neglected their children. They insisted Nunnally and Euphy were now in the gentle world. Lelouch prepared to use his geass on the illusion world system. Lelouch’s mother tried to stop him and Suzaku stopped her. The system began to change and reversed. C.C. told them they were foolish. Lelouch’s parents began to vanish. Lelouch’s mother was surprised that C.C. did not vanish. C.C. and Lelouch explained that the parents did not understand humanity, moreover, meaning of Nunnally’s smile. The emperor flew to grab Lelouch’s neck. Lelouch firmly refused their world and they both vanished. Meanwhile, the prince also sensed it. In the dark real world, C.C. questioned Lelouch and Suzaku of their plan. Suzaku aimed his sword at Lelouch, remembering him as Euphy’s enemy.

One month later, the world was back to normal. The chairman of school was reporting news of the emperor. In the palace, Lelouch appeared as the new emperor. Everyone thought it was a joke and demanded his arrest. Suzaku appeared and hit all the attackers away. Suzaku had become Lelouch’s Knight of Zero. Lelouch used his geass and forced everyone to accept him. Everyone did. C.C. watched sadly. In a room, Conelle was surprised that the prince was willing to let Lelouch take the throne for he had been living through betrayals.

Code Geass R2 #22:

With Lelouch’s reign, all old Britainne troop was eliminated. The Black Knight believed Lelouch was on their side. Orange returned to serve Lelouch who was still wary of presence of other royalty who might revolt. At the same time, his popularity also grew. C.C. was not surprised with Lelouch’s suspicion. Meanwhile, the researchers of Britainne were still doubtful of Lelouch’s rule. They decided to talk to Nina who was Suzaku and Lelouch’s ex-classmate. Meanwhile, Nina was in hiding with her ex-classmates for her part to invent the weapon that caused many deaths. Other place, Suzaku and Lelouch had a talk before they parted. Just then, Lelouch received news of the former Knight of Rounds’ attack. Suzaku moved forward to eliminate the enemy. The former knights accused Suzaku of his betrayal. One of the opponents activated his geass that helped him to foresee Suzaku’s movement. Lelouch reminded Suzaku that his battle was on the mass media. Lelouch’s past geass on Suzaku wanting him to live on made Suzaku more powerful and eliminated the Knight of One. The other knights of Rounds were shocked. The Black Knights were happy with Lelouch’s stand. Nina and others were surprised that Lelouch declared Area-11 Japan.

Meanwhile, Lelouch and C.C. as well as some followers travelled all over the world seeking for alliances including Black Knights. Kallen went to greet him as well as the other people. Lelouch ignored his other ex-classmates when he met Kallen. He pretended he only saw her the first time. The world was watching him. Once out of media’s focus, he talked to her as old friend. She queried him of working with Suzaku. She asked him what she thought of her and she kissed him. She bided him farewell and left. He whispered farewell to her as she left. Later, at the formal conference, Lelouch sought alliance with Kagura and after putting up shield against his geass, she and others queried him of his intention. The other Black Knights finally understood Lelouch’s ambitious intention. Lelouch activated his plan as Suzaku in his knightmare broke into the meeting. In the air, Lelouch’s troops were on stand-by. The others treated Lelouch as enemy. Guren was on stand-by to defeat Lelouch. Suzaku’s attack destroyed Kagura’s shield. Lelouch forced Kagura to give him an answer. Same time, Nina and other ex-classmate who tried to reach Lelouch were blocked by some Britainne’s troop. Lelouch even had the weapon invented by Nina last time on stand-by. The elder prince communicated Lelouch and told him that Nunnally was a more suitable ruler than him. He showed him Nunnally who was in fact alive and well. Suzaku and Lelouch were shocked. Nunnally declared herself as their official enemy.

COMMENT: This anime has too many unexpected turning points and drastic turns. Enough to combat Mobile Suit Gundam 00.

Naruto Shippuuden #106: Red Camelia

Guren yelled Yukimaru as he emitted his chakra. From afar, Naruto and Shino noticed Yukimaru’s act. Naruto was shocked. On the shore, Lee went to check others who were all right. In the woods, Kiba and Yamato were moving. On the lake, Kakashi and Sai were running towards the chakra. Guren’s people were also moving. Tobi was watching from afar. So was Kabuto. Guren faced Sanbi. Yuukimaru was relieved to see Guren all right. Guren was still thinking of Yuukimaru who had told her his loss of home. Guren thought of the time when she killed Yuukimaru’s mother. Back to present, Guren felt guilty. Yuukimaru told Guren to run, his hand still holding Guren’s camellia crystal. Guren was touched. Yuukimaru urged her to run but she refused. Yuukimaru collapsed and Sanbi went wild again. Guren went to Yuukimaru’s side, planning to let herself be the place where Yuukimaru could go. Rinji suddenly appeared. Sanbi same time suddenly attacked and Guren shielded Yuukimaru. Rinji told Guren that she was the one who could pull the trigger to Yuukimaru. He stabbed her waist and took Yuukimaru from Sanbi’s strike. Yuukimaru ran to Guren’s side and saw her wound. He was recalled of his mother’s death by sight of red camellia. Flashback, he screamed at sight of his mother’s corpse. Back to present, Rinji went to Yuukimaru and told him that he had to stop Sanbi for Guren could not move to defend herself. Yuukimaru began to cry. Rinji continued to urge Yuukimaru who emitted more chakra and he approached Sanbi. He emitted his chakra to stop Sanbi. His chakra formed a hole in the sky. Rinji was mad with pleasure.

From afar, Naruto knew Yuukimaru was there when Kakashi and Sai approached Naruto and Shino. Naruto ran off. Kakashi, Shino and Sai ran after him. Tobi ran off to find Deldara. At the cliff, Yuukimaru continued to immobilize Sanbi. The hole in the sky closed as Yuukimaru went on his knees, exhausted. Rinji approached Yuukimaru and was attacked by Sanbi’s strike. Yuukimaru was left hanging at side of the cliff. He was being attacked another time before he could reach Guren. But he managed to reach Guren’s side. Sanbi sent another attack but Guren managed to take Yuukimaru to a safe place. She created a crystal around Yuukimaru to protect him so that she could attack Sanbi. Meanwhile, Naruto approached Sanbi planning to rescue Yuukimaru. Kakashi and others could not get close. Naruto dodged Sanbi’s attack while Guren attacked Sanbi. She was shocked to see Sanbi aiming Yuukimaru. In the crystal, Yuukimaru fainted. On the lake, Guren used her crystal to trap Sanbi. She knew she was reaching her limit. Naruto reached Guren and saw Yuukimaru. He went for Yuukimaru. Just then, Sanbi broke through the crystal. Naruto used his shadow clones to block Yuukimaru. More of his clones attacked Sanbi. His rasengan was not effective. Guren taunted him and reminded him that there was a weakness in Sanbi. Guren was hit into water. In the water, she used her life to convert into chakra and blasted out of the surface. She used arrow of light and attacked Sanbi’s eyes. Naruto used giant rasengan on the same spot. Sanbi sank into the water. Naruto praised Guren and was about to settle matter with her when Sanbi emerged and dived at them. When the water calmed, Naruto, Guren and Sanbi disappeared. The crystal around Yuukimaru broke as Kakashi and others ran to him. Kabuto watched angrily behind a tree, planning to get Yuukimaru back at any cost.

Phantom – Requiem for the Phantom #18:

Reiji was shocked to see his house went up in flame with a piece of burnt Cal’s clothes drifting down. He shot the culprits who immediately took off. Other place, Scythe told the Inferno leader that McCuuen was the main culprit. Lizzie had also informed the leader that McCuuen had disappeared. The leader reassured Scythe that he would make sure she would not get into good end. Scythe would also send Ein to track down Reiji. A flashback, McCuuen invited Lizzie to join her in Inferno that was murderer of Romano to revenge Romano’s death. Back to present, Lizzie scolded McCuuen for being so rash. Other place, McCuuen called Reiji over the phone telling him that her plan was still on going with him and that she would escape to L.A. She wanted his help. Reiji thought of Cal. In a room, Ein was examining the bullet wound last caused by Reiji. Scythe was painting his mask near her. He commanded her to kill Reiji. She thanked him and left emotionlessly. Scythe believed Ein would sacrifice herself after killing Reiji. He believed it was the finale stage.

It was night when McCuuen was sitting in an inn as Lizzie went to meet her. Reiji meanwhile went to the warehouse where Ein first trained him in assassination. He entered the building. He thought of Cal and wondered what he was doing now. Daybreak, McCuuen drove the car, Lizzie next to her. They talked of what McCuuen was going to do with all those escaping. Meanwhile, Ein reached the warehouse. Same time, McCuuen was running along the seaside. Lizzie following behind her. McCuuen fell on her knees. Lizzie pointed her gun at her and scolded her for being an idiot. McCuuen apologised. Her necklace flew into the air. In the warehouse, Ein and Reiji faced off and fought with daggers. He suddenly called her Elen and pulled off her mask. She could not bring herself to stab him. Reiji told her that he was tired of being played with and also not able to protect someone he loved. He told her to kill him. He told her to live on. She took off her shirt and showed him the bullet wound that he had tried to heal to save her life. She told him that she could not forget his oath to tell her to live on. She had been living on because of him. She had lived dreaming of him, as she knew part of her was living freely. She told him to kill her first if he decided to break his oath. She begged him to kill her as she did not want to live a world without him. He wiped off her tears and promised to keep his promise. He wanted to take her from Scythe.

Other place, another man told Scythe that his plan did not go as planned. On the plane, another person was thinking of his elder brother he had killed. He thought of her and knew he could not follow to where her place was as he had an unfinished business. In the ruins of his house, the music from the hand watch continued to play by itself.

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood #17:

Ross was being interrogated for Hughes’ murder by the officers whose proof was the bullets Ross had used before in laboratory 5 where she had escorted the Elric brothers. On the night of Hughes’ death, her family members who were witness were not allowed to be proved alibi. Danny talked to Armstrong who suspected the military was probably planning to silence Ross on the Lab 5 issue. In the hotel, Ed was still thinking of Hughes’ death while Winry cleaned Al’s armor. She told Ed how scared she was when the brothers were out fighting for she did not want them to disappear from her life just like her parents. Al praised Winry for being kind. In the room, Falman was playing chess with Barry the Chopper when he received some information on accusing of Ross. In the hotel, Al told Ed of the news. Ed was shocked to find Ross being accused of killing Hughes.

In the detention prison, Yao Ling was trying to talk through a warder when many warders tried to fight off Barry the Chopper. Yao Ling asked Barry to let him out. When he learnt that Ling was from Xing, he released him. Barry proceeded to release Ross from her cell. He showed her the newspaper that accused her of murdering Hughes. Ross was devastated and agreed to leave with Barry. Meanwhile, the military was activated to kill her. On the street, Roy was walking. Al and Ed met Ross, Ling and Barry on the street. Barry called Ross to run to the alley while he held back the Elric brothers. In the alley, Roy confronted Ross. There was huge fire in that alley and Ed arrived to find a burnt corpse before Roy. Ed was shocked and angry. He grabbed Roy’s collar and was being hit back. Al tried to hold back Ed from attacking Roy and demanded to know answers from Roy. Roy told them that it was order from the top. Ross’ hand bracelet lay on the ground next to the corpse. Roy denied his people’s involvement to aid Ross’s escape. Ed was still glaring at Roy. Later, Armstrong apologised for not telling the brothers of Hughes’ death. The doctor could not identify Ross in the extremely burnt corpse. Armstrong was anguished over Ross’s death. Roy told Armstrong to go to the East for a break. Other place, Envy told Lust of the latest development. In the office, Riza asked to apply leave and Roy approved. He smirked even though she slammed the door hard.

In the room, Falman and Barry found Ling summoning for Ran Fan and her grandfather with smoke. In the office, Roy was flirting with a woman over the phone for a date. In the hotel, Ed was confronted by the scary looking Armstrong who prepared to send him home while Al would stay in Central. Armstrong told him that it was an order. Roy was informed in office and he smirked, as there would be no more hindrances to his plan. In the dark room, Envy told Lust of Barry the Chopper. The original body of Barry the Chopper was locked in the cage.

Shangri-La #13:

Flashback, Momoko had wanted Kuniko to live like a normal girl and another flashback, she had told others that she was not a leader of Metal Age. Another flashback, Kuniko told her grandmother that she was unable to do anything with Momoko’s kidnapping as such; she decided to become leader of Metal Age to go against the government that had betrayed them. She told others that they would fight to get back their future.

It was night. Kuniko, Takehiko, Momoko and others were loading things to prepare the battle. Kuniko’s grandmother told Kuniko not to be afraid. Kuniko vowed to fight for everyone’s future. The plane flew through the air. The chairman had reached Atlas. In the forest, Kuniko and others were travelling on cars. A man stood waiting for them. It was K.D. and he was assigned to take them to view a giant boomerang (it was in fact a fighter plane). Kuniko thanked K.D. In Atlas, the workers were protesting against their guards. There were internal riots within Atlas. Meanwhile, Kuniko and others were travelling to Atlas through the air. Kuniko decided to take out the government. Ryoko and others were observing Kuniko and others’ progress on their security system. There was a battle in the air against the air force. Ryoko communicated with the chairman. Karin was also observing the air war in Atlas. Kuniko left the plane to attack the approaching missiles with her boomerang. Mikuni was watching the battle with Miko in Moon Palace with interest. Miko asked Mikuni how she would feel if she were to disappear from Mikuni who cried. Miko consoled her. Meanwhile, the battle went on. Kuniko wanted to fight the missiles again. K.D. told her his real name Koeno. Kuniko and Momoko stepped out to check the outside systems and landed on the enemy’s structure. Momoko activated the bomb on the enemy’s structure and leaped off with Kuniko. Meanwhile, K.D.’s plane was hit. All fighters from Doumo leaped to the building from the plane. K.D.’s plane exploded. Kuniko screamed and destroyed the enemy’s plane. Momoko grabbed Kuniko with her rope before she almost fell. In the sky, Kuniko was relieved to see K.D. escaped to safety via parachute.

Naruto Shippuuden #105: The Battle over the Barrier

Kabuto, Guren and Yukimaru were travelling through the woods. Guren was still not happy that Kabuto threatened to tell Yukimaru her deed in the murder of Yukimaru’s mother. Meanwhile, at the lake, Hinata, Sakura, Shizune and Ino were controlling the barrier while Lee and Tenten stood guard. Tobi was watching afar. Kakashi and Sai were still tracking Guren. Same time, Naruto and Shino were also searching. Naruto wanted to save Yukimaru from Guren.

Other place, Guren’s henchmen were struggling to a rocky place, injured. From afar, Kabuto and Guren were watching the barrier seal. Kabuto forced Yuukimaru to take the pills to control Sanbi. Guren stopped him and volunteered to stop the Konoha ninjas herself. Kabuto gave in and told Guren to follow Rinji’s plan as he took Yukimaru to a secure place. Later, Rinji appeared before Guren. Rinji told Guren the strengths of the Konoha protectors. Guren would attack the protectors while Rinji would break the seal. Shortly, Guren confronted Tenten and Lee in fight. In the water, Sanbi was still struggling against the seal. In the woods, Naruto and Shino received insect information. On the lake, Guren was fighting Lee and Tenten with her crystal dragons. Meanwhile, the seal broke and Ino and others had to reseal the lock again. Just then, Rinji appeared but Naruto appeared to fight off Rinji. Shino sent insects at Guren who ignored. Suddenly, the seal broke and Sanbi escaped. In the woods, Kakashi and Sai reached Yamato and Kiba who exchanged information with them. From the cliff, Yukimaru saw waves spread, as Sanbi broke loose from the barrier. Tobi was excited. Yukimaru sensed pain as he walked towards the lake. Naruto was angry as Rinji and Guren pulled back.

Suddenly, splashes of water swept Naruto and others into water with Guren and Rinji. From the shore, Yukimaru witnessed it. Later, Shizune, Ino, Sakura, Hinata were led to safety by Lee and Tenten. From above, Yukimaru saw Sanbi approached Guren. On the lake, Shino reached Naruto who saw Sanbi from afar. Sanbi picked Guren but Yukimaru tried to yell it away with his power. In his lair, Orochimaru was taunting Kabuto’s hard time. In the woods, Tobi was observing Sanbi. So were Naruto and Shino. Guren woke to see Sanbi staring at her. Rinji got to his feet to see Yukimaru emitting energy on his own.

Omake: Naruto was trying to figure out the blank script when Tenten, Lee, Sai and Ino stomped in, trying to catch screen time. Sakura came in and found everyone turning black and white. It was Sai’s work.

Naruto Shippuuden #104:

Naruto used shadow clones to fight Guren and landed into water while she continued fighting Kakashi. Other place, Deldara was walking while Tobi was having fun around him. Deldara ignored him and they ended up walking separate ways. Meanwhile, Gozu and Guren’s fight with Sai, Kakashi and Naruto went on. Sai trapped Gozu with his ink beast to water. Guren sent crystal dragons at Kakashi and stabbed him at his back. Kakashi fell to the water. Gozu meanwhile tried to get out of Sai’s ink snakes but in vain. Same time, Tobi reached the lake. On the lake, Sakura and others were shifting the seal barrier and Rinji was hiding and watching. Tobi saw all these. Other place, Shino’s insects saved Kakashi in time. Guren tried to trap Shino’s insects but failed as they broke through the crystals. Naruto was impressed and activated shadow clones with rasengan behind her while Shino’s insects surrounded her. Naruto sent his rasengan at her. Gozu was worried and used his mud to block Sai as he went to find her. Meanwhile, Guren tried to use her crystal to eliminate Naruto’s clones and Shino’s insects as well as Kakashi’s raiki. Same time, Yukimaru was worried. Gozu arrived in time to shield Guren and to take her away before Kakashi and others could hurt her. Gozu sacrificed himself so as to save Guren’s life. Naruto checked Kakashi who was all right. Naruto and Shino moved together while Sai with Kakashi to find Guren.

In the woods, Yamato, Lee, Tenten and Kiba moved to guard the lake. On the lake, Shizune and others sensed Sanbi moving near and prepared to seal. Tobi was aghast and saw Rinji attacking them. Lee arrived to fight Rinji. Tenten also arrived. Later, Kabuto went from the lake, cursing Gozu and others for their lousy work. He went to look for Yukimaru. At the bank, Guren fainted and thought back of Yukimaru’s mother’s death again. She heard the same music played by her again at present time and screamed. She went to find and saw Yukimaru playing the music. Kabuto appeared behind her telling her the next plan. Guren demanded to know the effect it would bring Yukimaru. Kabuto taunted her for her weakness and told her that he knew she had killed Yukimaru’s mother. He threatened to use the information against her. In the lake, Sanbi was trashing against the barrier. At the cliff, Guren went to hug Yukimaru. Kabuto was impressed with Orochimaru’s decision to use Guren as he knew her weakness. Kabuto moved behind her, preparing the next step instructed by Orochimaru if Guren was to betray Orochimaru.

COMMENTS:

Really wish Naruto Shippuuden anime producers can choose more suitable songs for the OP and ED. Part I's OP & ED have been fine with lynics suitable for the plot but Part II anime's OP & ED are more like love songs that are completely irrelevant to the plot at all, especialy 'Closer', 'Blue Bird' and 'Hotaru no Hikari'. 'Hero Comes Back' - the first opening is the best and most relevant. 'Distance' lynic is relevant but I really don't think it's suitable for a shounen anime like Naruto Shippuuden that involves a lot of fighting. As for Naruto Shippuuden ED, 'Shinkoyuu', 'Bacchikoi', 'Long Kiss Goodbye' (because it's about separation of Asuma and Kurenei) are all right.

Other animes producers for D.Gray Man, Bleach, Phantom - Requiem for the Phantom, Shangri-La, Kissdum - Engage Planet, Soul Eater are doing better jobs in choosing OP & ED. Check out anime lynics at http://www.animelyrics.com

The young major was hospitalized after the ordeal at sea. In her room, Ryoko was getting her male maid to paint her nails when she was told of the survivors of Medusa operation. She told him to eliminate them except the young major who was Digima 3. In Doumo, Ryoko made announcement on the media for a sudden information. Kuniko and others were angry and shocked. Kuniko told others that she prepared to attack from the air. Takehiko supported her. In her room, Karin was checking the market price again. She targeted China market next. Karin planned to make money to cheer herself out. She wanted to go outside as suggested by the youth last time. Karin thought of going out in teddy bear disguise. Meanwhile, Sayoko demanded to see Ryoko who gained her audience. Same time, Kuniko and Takehiko were making their way to Atlas. Along the way, they discussed strategies and visited the old men stall. They knew Kuniko had become leader of Metal Age. Takehiko asked of weapons on showcase. Kuniko passed the old men her shopping list. Kuniko wanted a big boomerang. In a shop, Karin in disguise of giant teddy bear wanted to buy many toys. In the old men stall, Kuniko wanted the items to be delivered to Doumo. She told them her plan to invade Atlas and invited them to go Doumo to live. The old men did not plan to leave.

In other place, Sayako confronted Ryoko. She demanded to know why Mikuni was not the successor of Atlas even though she had heard voice of Atlas. Ryoko did not answer her question. Sayako begged her to tell her as she went on her knees. Ryoko told her that there were two other candidates other than Mikuni. But Ryoko refused to reveal their identity. On the street, Karin asked of an advertised item. Kuniko saw her and remembered seeing the bear in server world. Kuniko approached Karin. Karin was terrified and Kuniko pulled off her teddy bear head. Karin ran off in fear. In her lab, Sayoko searched the data for the other candidates’ identity. Ryoko ignored the infiltration by Sayoko as she had set traps. Ryoko’s image greeted Sayoko at the end. Later, Miko was shocked to see Sayoko being dragged back to Mikuni’s Moon Palace. She found a earring from Momoko falling off her as she was dragged away. In her room, Karin did not want to leave her room anymore as she talked to her teddy bear. In the lab, Momoko woke to find her shackles loosened. She found her earring on her and knew Miko had saved her. Meanwhile, Miko hoped for Momoko’s safety as she accompanied Mikuni.

In Doumo, the people were discussing the attack of Atlas and Takehiko told Kuniko that other Metal Age would help them. Kuniko agreed to do the invasion as priority when Momoko appeared. Kuniko wept and hugged her in joy. Momoko reassured her that she was fine and so was Miko. Momoko was happy that Kuniko had become leader of Metal Age. Kuniko thanked Momoko.

Phantom – Requiem for the Phantom #17: Truth

It was night; McCuuen was looking at Romero’s photo, thinking back the time when he died in her arms. Other place, Cal was not pleased as Reiji went to work at night. She called him to return home soon. He promised. He thought back the time when Cal confessed her feeling for him. During his waiting for Lizzie, Reiji was confronted by a group of people who had held Lizzie hostage. They had a photo of Reiji besides the client’s corpse in the hotel that night before and they accused Reiji of being the murderer. They wanted Lizzie and Reiji to turn against McCuuen. They suspected these people were the attackers who sided with Sycthe a year ago. The men told them that the mastermind was McCuuen and not Sycthe. Lizzie and Reiji were shocked. Reiji recalled the time when Ein ‘died’. The man told them that McCuuen was trying to kill the people in Gotoh and to control the organization. Suddenly, someone attacked in the dark against the people, giving Reiji and Lizzie chance to escape. Reiji went after the shooter and went face to face with Ein on top of the train. She told him she was no longer Elen – the name that Reiji had named her a year ago. She told him to escape from Inferno as she separated the train carriage, leaving him. In a room, Scythe was painting as his comrade told him how his scheme would send people of Inferno to hell one by one. Scythe planned to kill McCuuen and Reiji. In the snow, a man congratulated Mio for graduating from high school. She soon left. She was the man’s younger sister and the man had to hide the fact that he was from Gotoh organization to protect her. Back to present, the man was lying on the ground with bullet wounds and he got back to his feet as his assistant stood next to him. He told him that Inferno would finish McCuuen off and there would be war soon. His assistant – Shiga pointed his gun at the man preparing to finish him off to make McCuuen’s betrayal more convincing. He pulled the trigger. As the man died, Scythe appeared. Shiga told him that he had the urge to kill him. In the mansion, Lizzie was looking high and low for McCuuen for answers. In the car, Reiji recalled Ein’s final words telling him to run away and to live on. He recalled Cal mentioning how much she loved the clock and him. Reiji walked on the road towards his house. A bag outside his house door exploded. Reiji screamed for Cal.

Naruto Shippuuden #103: Four Corner Sealing Barrier

Naruto and others set off for mission the next day. Kiba and Lee chatted and Lee was disappointed not being in the team to fight stronger opponent until Kiba told him that Riji and others were also strong. Tenten joined in the chat. Meanwhile, Naruto introduced Sai to Shino. Naruto praised Sai for being strong and good in drawing. Shino was bemused that Naruto knew little about him even though they were friends for years. He told Naruto his favourite food and dislikes.

At the lake, Guren told Gozu that she disliked Kabuto who treated Yukimaru like a tool. They set off. Meanwhile, Rinji, Nurai and others were investigating the surrounding. Same time, Shizune and others prepared the sealing technique. Shizune told them that Kiba and others would concentrate on fighting enemy. Ino was worried but Sakura was optimistic. Ino recalled the time when Sakura encouraged her during her medical training. She regained her confidant to control her chakra. At the bush area, Kiba related the earlier smoke screen fights to Lee and Tenten. Lee told him of his strategy of using guts to fight enemy. Kiba and others were bemused. Meanwhile, Kakashi and others reached the other side of lake. Shino inspected surrounding. Naruto was still thinking of Jiraiya’s words to think of the people concerned and thought of Yukimaru. Suddenly, Gozu appeared and attacked Kakashi, Naruto and Sai. Guren also appeared. Guren used her crystal against Naruto who dodged. Kiba and others saw the first enemy. Lee attacked immediately. Yamato told others not to get into enemy’s trick as the other side used smoke screen. Rinji abruptly left off. Lee tried to concentrate and remembered Gai’s lessons to think from the heart and spirit. He detected location of enemy and attacked rapidly. Kiba was impressed. Tenten used raising dragon technique as Lee left smoke screen, meaning her weapons would only attack the enemy. Kiba was speechless as he was worse than Tenten and Lee. He and Akamaru attacked but were enveloped by smoke screen. Still, he had left smell on them and struck them easily.

Other place, Kakashi, Sai and Naruto fought Guren and Gozu. Naruto was determined that Yukimaru would not be used as tool. Shino was still accumulating his parasite insects. He began to commence his preparation.

COMMENTS: New OP and ED. Rinji was probably already killed and being taken over by Kabuto back in episode #102 when Rinji threatened to blackmail Kabuto.

OMAKE: Kiba told Shino and Hinata of his strong sense of smell that gave him disadvantage. Shino sought revenge on Kiba using salted fish as a payback for ignoring him.

Shangri-La #11: I dreamt I was a bird

Karin was humming tune as she tried to recall something. Other place, someone else was humming the same tune that Karin had earlier hummed. The young military thought back his past when he was woke by his comrades on the life saving boat in the middle of the sea. In her room, Karin was communicating with her Internet friends. Meanwhile, the young major was thanked by his subordinates. Flashback, bright light enveloped the ship and the young major ran to the subordinates’aid with safety tools. Ryoko was informed. She did not care and was only concerned of the progress of typhoon at Medusa area. In her room, Karin was surprised to see a black cat entering her room when she received a voicemail from her parents. They apologised for leaving her alone and promised to meet her soon. Karin was glad and Medusa system interfered her thoughts. Other place, Mikuni wanted to go out to the open and Miko wept for her. Karin meanwhile questioned who the newcomer online was and he claimed he could save her from her confinement. She told him to leave her alone. He claimed he was she. She told him to get out and he vanished. She was confused and the cat sat in front of her. She questioned the others for intruders in security system and they stated there was no intruder. She wondered if it was a dream. She suddenly heard a song and followed it to see the earlier youth singing in her room. He asked her not to leave.

In the middle of the sea, the young major tried to encourage others. In Doumo, Takehiko asked Kuniko of her plan and she told him she had none. Meanwhile, Karin told the youth that she was scared, as she did not know how to talk to people. He smiled and encouraged her. She asked him of the song and recalled her mother singing the song to her. He told her that he was just like her and vanished back to the server before vanishing. Ryoko meanwhile was told of Digmas status. One of her men volunteered to check on the Digmas. In her room, Karin was typing away. In Doumo, Kuniko was in deep thought. In her room, Karin decided to neglect her teddy bear for once as she left her room. The door opened before her as she stepped out. In the sea, the young major woke to see a plane above. In the playground, Karin was looking at the feather from her room and started singing the same tune. She thought of her mother. She began to climb playground equipment that overlooked the building she was staying. The youth’s voice stated he was glad to see Karin was out of building. The youth vanished. Other place, Miko was piggybacking Mikuni across the dark garden, lit by the yellow moon. In the office, Ryoko’s subordinate was studying the Digmas – the young major, Mikuni and Kuniko when he came across a photo of the youth who had encouraged Karin out of her house. In the playground, Karin was singing. A flashback, young major left his room as a birdcage lay on the ground.

Naruto Shippuuden #101: Everyone’s feeling

Lee, Tenten, Ino and Shizune were on their way to join Naruto and others. Lee suggested increasing speed and Shizune agreed. Other place, Yamato created a house to stay for the night. Kakashi was concentrating in his thought. Yamato asked him and they discussed the possible ways the other party was planning to use to control Sanbi. Kakashi went to look for Shino and Hinata to discuss something.

Amidst the fog, Guren thought of Yukimaru’s words that she was the one whom he was returning for. Guren saw Naruto’s reflection and went to face off him. In the woods, Sai went to look for Sakura and Kiba as he couldn’t see Naruto. Sakura suspected Naruto had gone off somewhere. Other place, Guren faced off Naruto and fought him. Naruto told her that he was looking for Yukimaru and demanded to see him. Meanwhile, Yukimaru woke and found Guren missing. In the woods, Kakashi was shocked to learn Naruto missing and stated he and Yamato would look for him. Kakashi summoned Biscuit and warned others not to act alone. Same time, Guren argued with Naruto as she fought him. Guren appeared and interrupted them. Naruto tried to shield Yukimaru from Guren while his clone held back Guren. Naruto told Yukimaru that he was taking him back to Konoha as Guren was working for Orochimaru. Yukimaru refused, as Guren had been kind to him. Guren hit Naruto away to reach Yukimaru. She blasted Naruto away and left with Yukimaru.

Yamato arrived in time to restrain Naruto. Along the way, Guren thought of Naruto’s words as Gozu carried her and Yukimaru to safety. She slapped Gozu for interfering. Yukimaru collapsed. Kakashi and Yamato escorted the depressed Naruto back. Yamato scolded Naruto for acting alone and putting his comrades into danger. Kakashi asked Naruto of Yukimaru and asked for details. Guren and others met Rinji and others. Kabuto insisted forcing Yukimaru to work eventhough he was running with fever. In the woods, Kakashi and Naruto were discussing about Yukimaru and suspected he had ability to control Sanbi. Yamato knew they had to take Yukimaru before Orochimaru turned him into Jinchuriki. Suddenly, Sakura appeared, blasted Naruto into the ground from Sai’s painted bird.

In the cave, Kabuto healed Yukimaru so that he could work. Guren was displeased with the way he dealed with Yukimaru. She promised to handle Konoha ninjas if their existence affected his dealing with Yukimaru. In the camp, Naruto and Sakura met Lee, Tenten, Shizune and Ino as well as the exhausted Pakkun.

Omake: Pakkun was panting and complained when Kakashi did not show better way to appreciate his work. Sai suggested using his paint message and Pakkun ran off to pass message. Kakashi realised he passed the wrong scroll to Pakkun.

Naruto Shippuuden #102: Regroup

Naruto gave Lee a high five while Ino and Sakura started exchanging sarcastic remark. Sai started copying their nickname and earned a hit from them. Kakashi noticed Naruto being quiet as he went to discuss details with Shizune and Yamato. Kakashi told Shizune of Yukimaru who could control Sanbi.

At the lake, Rinji and others were complaining of existence of Sanbi when Gozu walked off telling Rinji that he did not trust him as he suspected Rinji planned to betray Guren. He told him that he would not forgive him if he did so. Rinji told him that he had a sick sister whom he had to look after so he could not die there. On top of a cliff, Yukimaru asked Kabuto for Guren. Kabuto reminded Yukimaru that he belonged to Orochimaru and attempted to hit him. Guren distracted him away with her crystal to protect Yukimaru. Yukimaru told Guren that he did not want to return to the hideout. In the woods, Rinji met Kabuto and discussed about Guren. Rinji was called to spy on Guren. Rinji reminded Kabuto that he had been helping the latter on spying and served directly to Orochimaru instead of Kabuto. He also warned that he had more fighting power than Kabuto. In the cliff, Guren promised to meet Yukimaru once she settled her matter. Yukimaru asked Guren to fix a crystal she had given him. She did and ran off, wondering what was wrong with her.

In the woods, Kakashi found Naruto in deep thought. Sakura and Sai were looking for Naruto and found him with Kakashi. Naruto was ranting on status of Yukimaru. Sakura realised Naruto was not thinking of Sasuke that other day. Back to the camp, Shizune explained their plan to others. Shizune would lead Sakura, Ino and Hinata in sealing team. Kakashi would lead the others. Sai remembered Naruto was a Jinchuriki. Naruto wanted to start the mission immediately. Hinata was worried as she was not a medic nin. She blushed when Naruto praised her. Naruto asked of Tenten’s chakra control and she scolded him, as her chakra control was clumsy. Kakashi would spill the team. Shino, Sai and Naruto followed Kakashi while Lee, Tenten and Kiba followed Yamato.

Near the lake, Rinji met Gozu telling him that Kabuto had gone back to Orochimaru. Gozu told Rinji that he believed his earlier words but Rinji was confused. Meanwhile, Guren reminded herself that her hope was to stay with Orchimaru when she recalled Naruto’s words. She was shocked to learn that Rinji was standing behind her. The mist began to clear. Meanwhile, Naruto and others prepared to act. Tenten tossed a giant scroll for sealing to Naruto. They went on separate ways and set off.

COMMENT: It's nice to see more Tenten and Naruto interaction eventhough it's a filler plot. A little confusion though, no one was reacting when Sai told everyone that Naruto was a Jinchuriki. It's also good to see Naruto not thinking of Sasuke for a while and instead worrying for other people for a change even if it is just a filler.

Naruto Issue #455: Bond

Danzou ordered Terai to go after Kabuto while Fu and Torune were commanded to stay behind. He told them to remove their masks, as masks were not allowed for Kage conference. Torune was ordered to set his men to watch over Naruto and to take necessary action if Sai betrayed ROOT. He told Torune to make sure Kyuubi was unable to leave Konoha.

Meanwhile, Karui was catching breath after hitting Naruto for a long time. She yelled at Naruto that she would keep it up until he told her about Sasuke as no amount of beating would make her feel better. Sai (behind the tree) and Omoi were watching. As she flew another fist at Naruto, Sai suddenly appeared and stopped her. Naruto told him to stay out of this. Sai told Naruto that there was no need for him to get beaten up for Sasuke’s sake. Naruto told him to shut up as it was his decision. Sai recalled Naruto’s telling him that he used to hate Sasuke but when they were together, it was fun and that Sasuke was his friend whom he was finally able to connect to him. Sai told Naruto that Sasuke had done nothing but hurt Naruto. He stated that if it were him when Karui interrupted and warned she would hit him if he interfered. Omoi stopped her this time and told her that beating wouldn’t get them anywhere. From the corner of his eye, Omoi watched Sai helped Naruto to his feet. Omoi stated that Naruto wouldn’t sell out his friends and eventhough he might be an enemy, Omoi liked him. Just then, Samui ran to them asking them if they found out anything else. Samui asked Karui if she was causing any trouble and Omoi told her that Kirabi could still be alive and that they had to rescue him by finding where Akatsuki’s hideout was. Samui told them that the enemies were strong enough to catch Kirabi and moreover, they might have many hideouts. She did not want to repeat what had happened to Yugito. She stated they would be taking information to Raikage directly. Naruto asked them to take him with them as he wanted to help. Besides, he wanted to talk to Raikage. Karui yelled that he was kidding. Samui recalled overhearing the villagers praising Naruto as a hero and a potential Hokage in future. She told Naruto that they did not know anything about him and couldn’t let him meet Raikage now when Naruto did not have a full guard. With that, she called Omoi and Karui to go and help her make copies of the information. When they left, Naruto asked Sai to take him to Kakashi and Yamato.

In another tent, Sai attended to Naruto’s wounds while Kakashi and Yamato watched. Sai suggested getting Sakura to take a look at his wounds. But Naruto refused, as he did not want to explain the situation to her. Moreover, he healed fast. Naruto apologised to Sai who did not mind and smiled at Naruto. Kakashi recalled his previous conversation with Sai. Sai was asking him of Naruto and Sakura’s bond with Sasuke. Kakashi was impressed that Sai helped Naruto even though it was not part of his mission to watch Naruto. Back to present, Kakashi told Naruto to rest for a while but Naruto insisted to see Raikage. Naruto wanted to convince Raikage to forgive Sasuke. Yamato retorted that Naruto did not even have his necklace seal anymore and as a jinchuriki, he should not be allowed to leave the village. Besides, during his battle with Pain, Naruto had gone all up to 8 tails. Yamato stated that Naruto was lucky that the seal worked and held back the fox and that there was no guarantee for next time. Moreover, Yamato had to do rebuilding work for the village and could not be with Naruto at all times. Naruto told them that he had met Yondaime. Kakashi, Sai and Yamato were shocked. Naruto told them that Yondaime was the one who stopped him from becoming kyuubi. As Yamato protested his disbelief, Kakashi stated that Yondaime might have put some energy inside Naruto during the Shiki Fujin technique. Naruto told them that Yondaime had told him of the guy in mask from Akatsuki was behind the kyuubi attack 16 years ago and that the man was so strong that even Yondaime could not do anything against him. Kakashi thought of Tobi. Naruto elaborated that Tobi was behind everything and had been using Pain. He stated that if Sasuke joined Akatsuki, then Tobi was probably using Sasuke too. Kakashi stated that this was just as Jiraiya feared as the man had sharingan. Kakashi stated Madara was the only Uchiha missing nin who hated Konoha that much and had the power to control kyuubi. Yamato believed Madara could be still alive. Naruto recalled Kyuubi once mentioned Uchiha Madara’s name before and asked Kakashi who Madara was. Kakashi told him that Madara was the former leader of Uchiha clan and was said to be defeated by the first Hokage. Kakashi told Sai that they had to tell the elders about this. He wanted Sai to tell Danzou about this. Kakashi asked Naruto what else did Yondaime told him. Kakashi remembered his meeting with his late father and stated fathers usually have things to say to their sons. Naruto smiled and tightened his grip on his blanket. He stated happily that Yondaime had faith in him. Naruto cheered and Sai smiled.

Kakashi gave him a thumb up and agreed. Kakashi told Naruto that Naruto would go after Raikage and that Yamato and Kakashi would go with him. Yamato protested but in vain.

In the woods, some ninjas were stalking Danzou and his two escorts. When they neared, they leaped at them. Danzou commanded his men to stand back as he wanted to get some exercise in the battle. He removed his eye bandage, revealing his sharingan.

COMMENT: Just as expected by many Naruto fans that Danzou has Sharingan eye. I wonder if Danzou is planning to control the Kyuubi in Naruto for his own benefit. Hopefully, Kakashi will eventually be the one to control the Kyuubi in Naruto.

Naruto Shippuuden #100: Inside the Mist

Sanbi emerged from the lake, its surrounding floating with broken crystals. On the shore, Yukimaru watched over the unconscious Guren. Mist started to appear. Kabuto watched Sanbi from afar. In the woods, Guren’s followers had lost sight of Konoha ninjas as they met up with Gozu who demanded to look for Guren. He set off looking for her alone; as he worried she might be injured.

Other place, Naruto wondered his situation and remembered Yukimaru, wondering why he was in Orochimaru’s group. He grumbled of the fog as he moved on. Naruto fell a world of illusion. Orochimaru appeared before Naruto followed by Sasuke whom he covered over him with his snakes. Naruto snapped at Orochimaru. Kakashi’s voice woke Naruto up as Kakashi stopped Naruto hitting Kiba with rasengan. Kiba snapped at Naruto for attacking him when all of them were looking for him. Kiba and Kakashi confirmed Naruto had encountered illusion. Shino and others arrived and showed them the insects affected by the fog. Naruto told them of Guren and a giant turtle, known as Sanbi at the lake. Kakashi proposed retreating until a proper strategy was derived.

Other place, Guren saw the illusion of the past when she killed Yukimaru’s mother. Guren woke up to see Yukimaru and recalled their earlier battle with Sanbi. She asked him of Sanbi which had gone quiet. Yukimaru expressed his concern for her and she was touched. Yukimaru was running a fever.

In the sky, Sai and Hinata travelled on painted bird to explore the lake. They reverted thei finding to Kakashi and others. Naruto worried for Yukimaru and wanted to find him at the lake that was dangerous with the fog barrier. Kakashi disagreed. He had sent Pakkun back to Konoha for Tsunade’s further instruction. Meanwhile, Tsunade learned of Sanbi from Pakkun. She and Shizune wanted to ensure Akatsuki would not get it. They allocated more members for Naruto and others back up. In the hospital, Ino who was training in medical saw the signal. Outside, Lee and Tenten were training in coordination under Gai. Tenten saw the signal. Lee and Tenten went to see Tsunade with Ino. They were to go with Shizune to assist Naruto and others. They would assist in sealing Sanbi. Pakkun would lead the way.

Other place, Guren was taking care of Yukimaru who had collapsed. She wondered if the medicine was the cause. She tried to wake him up. He told her he had found a place where he could return.

On the cliff, Sakura found Naruto in deep thought. She sat next to him. He told her of a matter he couldn’t understand. It was a home to return as long as there was someone thinking of another person. Sakura thought of Sasuke. Naruto told her that if they gave up, it would be very sad. Sakura stated her belief that both of them would not give up. Naruto thanked her for her words. Naruto thought of Yukimaru and left to look for him, planning to let Yukimaru feel him to be the place where he could return.

Bleach Issue #365: Whose Side Are We On

Gin and others were surprised to see Shinji and others who had left Soul Society 100 years ago. Hitsugaya could not recognise who they were and was confused. The Shinigami Chief Commander recognised Hirako Shinji. Hisagi also recognised some of the faces. None of the Vizards was interested to talk to the Shinigami except Lisa who talked to one of the Shinigami captain whom she was formerly under. She stomped on him from his fake death. He stated she had grown pretty since he last saw her. She kicked his face and he stated he was glad she was all right. She told him to lie while she showed him how strong she had become. She scolded him idiot as she returned to her fellow Vizards. The Chief Commander asked Shinji if he had returned for revenge but he stated he did not care about Shinigami but yes, he was planning to avenge revenge on Aizen. Shinji complained of the tight barrier that prevented them from entering if not for a Shinigami who permitted them in. Shinji told Chief Commander that they were not on Soul Society’s side but they were enemies of Aizen and that they were on Ichigo’s side. Shinji rejoined other Vizards. Wonderweiss started making noise and Gin complained that Wonderweiss was ruining the mood. His comrade told him that there was meaning in the noise. The monster begun to change and spilt open, something wet and dark poured out. The Shinigami were shocked. The darkness was Gillians. Shinji and others were ready to act as they donned their Hollow masks.

Just saw the trailer for Naruto Shippuuden movie 3.

It was about Kakashi leaving the village, planning to sacrifice his life to save it under Tsunade's instruction. Naruto could not take in this and together with Rockies 8 (include Naruto himself and exclude Sasuke), Neji, Lee, Tenten and Sai, they set off to save Kakashi. Naruto stated that ninjas who were not able to accomplish mission suck but those who couldn't save their comrades suck even more.

Also check out a video of another character who is the seiyuu (Takeuchi Junko) for Naruto - Honjo Kamatari (Rurouni Kenshin). Interestingly, Kamatari is a gay. Wonder what will happen if Kamatari passes some of his/her gayness to Naruto. It's going to be a chaos if this happens.

Phantom – Requiem for the Phantom #12: Phantom

It was a night in an opera theater. Zwei turned out to be one of the masked performers where he carried out his assassin mission. In a mansion, a young girl - Judy was bided farewell y her colleague. In the woods near the city, the bodyguards were shocked to see the assassin to be phantom from Inferno as Zwei ran off. That night, the news reported of Phantom of doing the recent murders lately. In the living room, McCuuen was drinking her wine. Next day, the Inferno was meeting on their accomplishment due to Phantom. They were planning to join force with a Japanese organization next. McCuuen forcefully took over role of negotiation and other member – Isaac was not happy about it. Outside the office, Lizzie met her. So was Zwei. He drove McCuuen Claudia back. In the house, Claudia and Zwei got close. Zwei stated he had forgotten his reason for working. That night, alone, Zwei recalled Elen’s death.

New night, Zwei drove Claudia with illegal drugs on the car. They were to meet representative of that Japanese Organization. They reached the destination and Zwei knew something was amiss. He told Claudia to stay in the car while he investigated the other party’s car. The occupants were already dead. He told Claudia and Claudia left. In the dark, someone was watching. Zwei investigated the corpses including a lady.

Next morning, Isaac ranted at Claudia who told him off for not protecting his territory properly. The third leader supported Claudia’s view. Outside the room, Lizzie told Zwei of the identity of a lady victim who was at the scene. Zwei walked off to check. He returned to the scene with flowers. There, a girl was praying at the place where the lady – Judy last left dead that night. Zwei asked the girl if she was friend of Judy and she told him that she was Judy’s younger sister. She asked Zwei if he knew who killed her and he told her that he would make the murderer pay dearly for the crime. The girl wanted to go with Zwei who rejected. She stopped him and told him that she knew who the culprit was as she was around. She begged him to let her go with him. She told him that her name was Cal and he told her his real name. Cal wanted to be Reiji/ Zwei’s partner. Zwei told her it would be a while and promised her.

Dragon Ball Kai #11:

Saiyajins spared Gohan and others for three hours while waiting for Goku whom they related as traitor to their clan. Goku meanwhile was rushing. Piccolo was planning how to weaken the enemy before Goku arrived. Gohan felt ashamed of himself and was planning to walk away when the Saiyajin – Nappa stopped him. Above, the news reporters were trying to record the event. Nappa attacked the reporters who fled. Nappa destroyed them. Kami sensed Goku’s nearness. One hour left.

Then, three hours were up. Kiririn was aghast. Nappa and his companion prepared to attack Piccolo and others. Piccolo told Kiririn to distract them while Gohan and Piccolo would find ways to attack them. Gohan promised not to run away this time. Other world, Kami sent Goku back to his living world via two beans. In the living world, Kiririn dashed at Saiyajins to distract them. Piccolo grabbed Nappa’s tail. Nappa hit Piccolo by his back and forced him to tell them of dragon balls. He threw Piccolo aside and approached Gohan. Nappa hit Gohan. Kiririn went to help Gohan by kicking Nappa. Kiririn activated lightning circle and tossed at Nappa who dodged. The attack cut his face. Angered, Nappa activated lightning attack at Kiririn. Piccolo managed to attack Nappa by his back in time, saving Kiririn. Piccolo suddenly sensed a powerful ki. Gohan knew it was Goku. So was Kiririn.

Afar, Goku sensed everyone’s kis. The Saiyajins sensed Goku’s ki of 5000. The Saiyajin were anxious. They decided to go to Piccolo’s home planet for dragon balls next time. Nappa attacked Gohan who kicked Nappa with powerful force. Piccolo and others were surprised. Nappa was angry and he gathered his ki at Gohan. Gohan could not dodge. Piccolo ran to shield Gohan with his body and borne the full impact.

Naruto Shippuuden #99: The Rampaging Tailed Beast

Naruto, Yamato and others were making their way through the woods while Yukimaru was drawing out Sanbi. Meanwhile, Deldara and Tobi reached a Dango stall. Tobi asked Deldara how they were catching Sanbi and Deldara tried to see Tobi’s face but failed. Tobi pointed a claywork and provoked Deldara who blasted him into the sky. At the lake, Sanbi was about to emerge. In the woods, Shino and Akamaru sensed strange chakra. Meanwhile, Rinji and others sensed the approaching Konoha ninjas. Naruto and others meanwhile were approaching the lake. Naruto spotted the flying bats, which converted the message to Rinji. In the woods, the bats were irritating Naruto, Kakashi and others. Kakashi spotted the smoke shield and ordered Naruto to inspect while others diverted the enemies. Kakashi had confident in Naruto who made his way alone. Kakashi and others were stuck in the smoke shield. Naruto reached the lake and summoned his toads as he leaped into the lake. Within the lake, Sanbi made its appearance. Kabuto knew Yukimaru was going to over exert his strength. Yukimaru fainted. In the smoke shield, Kakashi and others sensed the monsterous noise. Naruto heard it at the lake. Guren, Yukimaru and others were tossed out of the boat. Kabuto commanded Guren to control Sanbi. Gozu assisted Guren who sent crystal to trap Sanbi but failed. Gozu grabbed Sanbi by its tail while Guren finally trapped it with her crystal. Guren overexerted her Chakra. In the woods, Rinji and others attacked Kakashi and others but Sakura and Hinata saved them in time. Rinji was wary of Hinata’s ability.

In the lake, Naruto saw the trapped Sanbi. The toads were surprised to see it was a tailed Bijuu. Meanwhile, Yukimaru was helped to the boat. Same time, Sanbi broke out of the crystal before Naruto and others’ eyes. Gozu protected Yukimaru out of the scene. Guren fought Sanbi. Naruto was surprised to see her and Yukimaru. In the boat, Yukimaru saw a crack on Guren’s crystal. Guren collapsed on the lake. Guren commanded Gozu to take Yukimaru away. Naruto was shocked to see Yukimaru’s ‘home’ was Guren who worked for Orochimaru. He was more surprised when Yukimaru controlled Sanbi. Naruto, the toads, Gozu, Guren and Yukimaru were driven into the depth of the lake. Guren tried to hold onto Yukimaru in the water and grabbed his hand. With remaining chakra, she summoned a crystal to hold herself and Yukimaru. Later, Yukimaru helped her to the shore.

Omake: Sakura told Naruto of Yamato, Shizune and Iruka’s age. Yamato and Iruka were of same age of 26 years old. Shizune was 31 years old. Shizune appeared and punched Naruto for taunting her ‘aiii’ tone.

Canon Characters:

Just checked out Team Taka members in anime version on internet and did a combination of Team Taka with Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi.

Nevermind the heights which are inaccurate in proportion. I know Naruto is shorter than Kakashi by at least half a head. I'm too lazy to amend the heights.

Naruto Shippuuden #98: The Target Appears

Naruto broke Guren’s crystal barrier and was shocked to see Hinata being held as hostage. Naruto tried to use toad water technique but failed. Meanwhile, one of Guren’s men ran off towards Guren’s direction. Kakashi, Sai and Yamato distracted Guren while Naruto and Gamatatchi took Hinata away. Rinji and others reached Guren to assist her.

At a safe area, Naruto called Gamatachi to place Hinata gently but Gamatachi clumsily dropped her. Pakkun meanwhile told Kakashi and others of Shizune and others’ finding of the analysis of the crystal. Naruto anxiously suggested taking Hinata to Konoha for treatment. The crystal shattered and Sakura told others that Hinata was all right. Hinata woke and told them that she had covered herself in thin film before she was attacked by Guren’s technique. Kakashi suggested retreating for now. Naruto and Kiba protested. In the end, they spilt into two groups. One group did tracking while Hinata’s group took time to recover. Gamatachi and other toad as well as Pakkun vanished. Sakura, Hinata and Sai stayed behind while others took off. Among the tree, Kabuto watched. In the hut, Yukimaru told Guren of Naruto. Guren was glad that Yukimaru did not go to Naruto and others. Guren planned to track them when Kabuto came along to warn Guren from losing Yukimaru as she would lose Orochimaru’s trust. Kabuto, Yukimaru, Guren and one follower went on boat to the lake. Yukimaru told Kabuto of his discomfort after taking the medication.

Meanwhile, Kiba, Naruto and Shino were on the move among the trees. So were Kakashi and Yamato. Shino reported his finding to others. Naruto did not understand. Kiba taunted Naruto being the only Genin. Kakashi ordered Naruto to create three clones and to place each of them three metres away from one another so as to distract the enemy’s bats. Kiba, original Naruto and others followed the enemy’s bats. Naruto passed motion at Kiba for his taunting. In the misty lake, Kabuto ordered Yukimaru to put on a strange headwear and ate some pills. Guren protested but kept quiet for fear of disappointing Orochimaru. She forced herself to encourage Yukimaru to listen to Kabuto. Guren activated crystal pillars around them. Yukimaru emitted strong power and lured out Sanbi from the water. Guren knew it was the three tailed bijuu.

Omake: Shino underwent X-ray. Sakura who was doing the examination could only see insects and she was shocked. Later, Naruto and Kiba were bemused at Shino’s ability to lose weight easily by letting out insects. Sai was impressed.

Naruto Issue #453: The Night Before the five Kages Meet

Madara intercepted Sasuke and Team Taka as they headed towards Konoha. Karin was confused over Madara’s sudden chakra appearance. Sasuke wondered how Madara knew where he was and Madara told them that it was within his powers eventhough Sasuke underestimated him. Sasuke told Madara that Team Taka was no longer part of Akatsuki as they had no further use for Madara. Madara told them that he would have killed them if they betrayed Akatsuki, besides they broke their promise to him as the Hachibi was not captured at all except its tenacle. Madara told them that he was disappointed with them. Sasuke was shocked, as he had not seen how Kirabi would have the time to create a clone. Madara told them to forget Kirabi as he had something else he wanted them to do. Sasuke wanted to refuse and Madara challenged that he would fight him on the spot if he wanted to go to Konoha. Sasuke activated chidori at Madara’s chest but passed through him instead. Madara told Sasuke that Konoha was already destroyed. Zetsu appeared and told them that he would explain. Madara asked Zetsu who the new Hokage was and the latter told him that it was a guy named Danzou. Madara stated he had thought as much and told Sasuke that Danzou was one of the elders who drove Itachi to his end. Madara told Sasuke that Pain had destroyed Konoha and because of his and Pain’s commotion, there would be a five Kage summit. Zetsu stated he would explain the rest.

In Konoha, Kamui demanded Naruto and Sakura to tell them all they knew about Uchiha Sasuke, including his techniques as well as Akatsuki. Sakura stated her disbelief that Sasuke was a member of Akatsuki. Kamui retorted that Sakura was annoying and questioned what Sasuke was to her. Sakura began to sob and Naruto watched her sadly. Kamui retorted that she was the one who wanted to cry even more as crying would not bring Kirabi or Yugito back. Sai stated that since Hokage had already approved the order to kill Sasuke, the village would definitely provide the necessary information she needed. As such, she did not have to pressurize Naruto and Sakura. Kamui stated she wanted to know any more information, as she could not bear sitting around not knowing what happen to their sensei. Naruto stated his understanding how they felt as he had lost Jiraiya not long ago. Naruto asked Kamui and Omoi if their sensei was a Jinchiriki and they were shocked that he knew. Naruto told them that like Kirabi, he himself was a Jinchiriki too and it was also his fight against Akatsuki. He told them that Akatsuki wanted the Jinchiriki alive and therefore, their sensei could still be alive. Omoi and Kamui were surprised. Naruto told them to rescue Kirabi before going after Sasuke. Omoi and Kamui were relieved. Naruto told them that he would help them find Kirabi as well as providing information on Akatsuki. Kamui stated Naruto looked smarter than he appeared and wanted him to tell them about Sasuke too. Sakura watched Naruto and Naruto told her to leave everything to him. Kamui asked Naruto his name and he told her.

Other place, Suigetsu was shocked to learn that Naruto was the one who defeated Pain. Zetsu stated that Naruto could be stronger than Sasuke now but Sasuke did not care as he was more concerned of the five Kage Summit. Suigetsu knew Sasuke’s target was now Danzou and that they were going to head for the meeting. Sasuke stated he wanted to kill the Kages with a change of his plan. Madara agreed. Karin knew it was going to be a troublesome affair. Zetsu offered to lead Sasuke as he spilt into half. The white Zetsu guided Team Taka while the black one remained with Madara. Jugo asked Sasuke if they could trust Madara and Zetsu. Sasuke stated that if they tried anything funny, he would use Amaterasu on them. Meanwhile, black Zetsu stated that everything went well. Madara stated he did not believe Nagato would use his Rinne Tensei like that as he had knew it was supposedly meant for Madara. He also stated that even if Sasuke became more powerful than Nagato, he would not be any use to them if they could not control him. Madara did not plan to sync him with Gedo Mazo for a while and planned to see how the situation progressed. Zetsu was surprised that Madara had taken into account for Nagato’s death. Madara replied that he had done so just in case and stated that Naruto had thrown a wrench into his plans. Madara added that he had enough of being cautious and decided to implement the “Moon’s Eye Plan”.

Meanwhile, in the Hidden Village of Sand, the villagers instructed Temari and Kankuro to take care of Gaara as they made their way to the Five Kage Summit.

Bleach Issue #363: Superchunky from Hell

Stark was surprised of Ukitake’s defensive technique. The two Shinigami captains joined force against him. Ukitake advised his comrade not to use his bankai where anyone could see. Stark’s partner warned that it was a trap but he did not care and he continued his attack at Ukitake who still repelled the Ceros. Stark figured out Ukitake’s technique. Ukitake was impressed. Stark shot 1000 Ceros to disrupt Ukitake’s technique and the other Shinigami captain went to his aid. Just then, another Espada entered the fight. It was Wonderwice. There was something huge, dark and monstrous behind him.

Bleach Issue #362: Howling Wolves

Stark revealed his true power with a furry coat and a gun. Lilynette was his gun. The Shinigami captain attacked but Stark dodged in time. They fought. The Shinigami captain knew the gun shot Ceros. Stark fired a powerful Ceros at him. The Shinigami captain had problem dodging a series of them in time and the other Shinigami captain helped him by cutting the approaching Ceros with his swords.

Naruto Issue #452: Closing In on Danzou

Naruto and Sakura wanted to confront Danzo to change his decision for the death sentence order on Sasuke but Kakashi advised them against it as it could give Danzo an excuse to lock Naruto – the Kyuubi Jinchuriki into the jail. Kakashi told them that despite the Jonins pre-voting of Hokage, Danzo was still temporary a Hokage. Kakashi warned Naruto that by playing into Danzo’s hand by confronting him on Sasuke matter, Naruto could be locked up and would not be able to look for Sasuke himself.

In a tent, Danzo ordered Sai to keep an eye on Naruto to make sure he did not do anything out of ordinary. Should Naruto do so, Sai was to report it to Danzo. Sai asked Danzo what he was planning to do with Naruto. Danzo reassured that given Naruto’s current popularity, he could not get into the villagers’ bad book by doing anything bad to Naruto as it was a critical time for him. Moreover, Naruto was a Jinchuriki and as a Hokage, Danzo had to watch him. He stated he would not be as weak as Tsunade. While Sai walked out of the tent, Naruto and Sakura approached him asking him about Danzo. Sai showed them his seal on his tongue and told them that all foundation members had such seals to prevent them from revealing about Danzo. He told them that eventhough Danzo ordered them to do dirty deeds; his main intention was to protect the village. The seal was to ensure that even if the foundation members were caught, they would not reveal information, as they would become paralyzed if they tried to reveal. Sakura told Sai that Danzo was going back on Tsunade’s promise about Sasuke and Sai stated he knew nothing about it. Omoi and Kamui overheard their conversation and confronted them for information on Sasuke, Kamui’s sword was pointing at Sakura.

Instantly, Naruto drew Sai’s sword and blocked Sakura away from the tip of the sword. Omoi and Kamui fought Naruto who activated shadow clones and blocked Kamui’s sword attacks. Sai and Sakura tried to help but Omoi kicked Sakura away. The real Naruto rushed to help Sakura so that she would not get hurt. Naruto demanded to know what they were doing and Sakura recognised them as ninjas from Cloud village. Omoi demanded to know about Sasuke who had attacked their village. Kamui yelled that Sasuke had took their teacher away and they did not know if he was still alive. Sakura was shocked. Kamui told them that Sasuke was a member of Akatsuki. Omoi told them that Hokage had given Raikage permission to kill Sasuke. Naruto was stunned and wondered what had happened to Sasuke to cause such mayhem.

COMMENT: According to the last panel of the issue, the next part is likely the kage summit. Oh boy, Naruto manga issues are getting more and more intensified, I really hope it will go beyond 500. It's plot is getting more unpredictable and exciting as compared to One Piece and Bleach which are still stuck in the prison and shinigami vs Arrancar/Espada battles respectively.

Naruto Shippuuden #97: The Ladyrith of the Distorted reflection

The research center in Konoha examined the sample from Shino’s trapped insect. Tsunade was surprised of the jutsu on crystal. It was said that a village vanished due to that technique. She suspected the person was from Orochimaru’s group and she knew Orochimaru must have gotten desperate to hide Sasuke from other people due to his nearing health condition. On the mountainous area, Yamato was leading Naruto, Sai and Sakura. He asked Sai to monitor the surrounding. Naruto took the chance of a break and ran off. From the air, Sai saw something. They were camellia in the water. At a corner, Naruto was planning to train himself when the air turned misty. Yukimaru appeared. Naruto greeted him and ran to him. Yukimaru told him about the words Naruto had told him before and started saying about the disappearing camellia, Naruto offered to take him to Konoha. Yukimaru refused as he had someone to return to. Yukimaru showed him the camellia crystal and vanished when Sakura and others approached Naruto for Shino had sent insects to them. Naruto told them about Yukimaru but they did not believe him.

Other place, Guren was told of Kakashi and his team’s ability. Guren decided to do the rest and set off creating crystal traps in form of labyrinth. In the woods, Shino passed the fellow team members information. Shino sensed barrier and Hinata confirmed it as she saw her own reflections as well as others. Her Byugan failed her. Guren created crystal clones of herself. Guren sent crystal shards at Kakashi and others. Kakashi tried to use Sharingan to copy crystal jutsu but failed. Hinata prepared to use Neji’s technique to fight Guren. Guren trapped Hinata in her crystal. The rest of her clones retreated from Kakashi and the rest. The real Guren emerged with the trapped Hinata. Meanwhile, Naruto and others reached the external part of the crystal. Sai flew to examine the surrounding which was a huge crystal dome. Yamato analysed that Kakashi and others were trapped inside. Naruto suggested breaking through. Yamato tried penetrating underground but failed. Naruto had a plan and reassured Sakura that he was not using rasenshuriken. He summoned Gamatatsu and his fellow toad. They were going to use the new technique. Within the crystal, Guren threatened Kakashi and others with Hinata’s life. Outside, Naruto prepared to use the new synchronizing water technique with Gamatatsu. It melted the crystal dome. Sakura and others were impressed.

Omake: Naruto got his second hand television which Sakura and Yamato the news hosts told them about analog and digital television. Thrilled at watching his own anime and appearance of Kakuzu, Naruto fired his rasengan at his television. Sakura’s warning not to use rasengan on television came too late as Naruto broke his own television. Naruto wailed.

Code Geass R2 #11: The Power of Wills

Suzaku, Xing-Ke and others were fighting against Zero and others. Later, Milly updated Lelouch and others in school of the battle via phone. Zero had gotten away. Rolo stated Lelouch was being being kind to the students. When Rolo and Lelouch entered a dark room, Lelouch removed his mask to reveal herself as someone else. In the other place, the real Lelouch was still in strategic battle as Zero while Xing-Ke as shocked to learn that the higher ups prepared to get a new puppet to replace Tianzi. Anya and others had excellent fighting robots to combat Zero’s team and C.C. acknowledged the situation was unfavorable. Zero was angered by the Chinese Federation’s insensitivity to lower level civilians’ rights. Tianzi ran out of the ship, calling for the end of the battle. Xing-Ke saw Tianzi and tried to help her. The Chinese Federation tried to shoot her and Xing-ke shielded her. Tianzi wanted Xing-Ke to stay alive with her. Xing-Ke was touched and yelled for anyone to help him to protect Tianzi and her dream. Zero obligated, he and Knightmare appeared and shielded Xing-Ke and Tianzi with highest defensive power. The other side was shocked. The Britainne held fire first. Zero wantred Xing-Ke to join force, so that they could help the weakest Chinese civilians. In the streets and cities of China, the commoners rebelled against the Chinese Federation whose terrible words had been broadcast in the media. C.C. and Anya as well as others sensed strong thoughts from Lelouch’s past. Meanwhile, the Britainne withdrew upon the Prince’s command. Xing-Ke slashed the higher ups of Chinese Federation. Lelouch tried to get Kallen back but she had been sent to Suzaku and Knight of Rounds’ place.

Next day, Tianzi and Xing-ke talked together and Xing-Ke vowed to protect her. Tianzi wept. Kaguya opposed marrying Tianzi to any other one else other than Xing-Ke. Zero was sandwiched between anger of Kaguya and Diethard. Zero received a call from Shirley and she reminded him of graduation event. Lelouch took the chance and asked her of the marriage issue between two people. Shirley’s words reminded him of himself and Nunnally. He thanked her and hang up. Later, Zero converted his decision to allow Xing Ke and Tianzi made their own decision. Xing-ke shook hands with Zero. In school, Shirley ran into the fake Lelouch who tried to hide her vision from the base by kissing her. Other place, the real Lelouch talked with C.C on their original plan to use the resources from Chinese Federation for their aim. Lelouch returned back to school to meet Rolo and Sayoko who had helped by disguising as Lelouch while he was not around. The real Lelouch ran into Shirley and Anya. The other Knights of Rounds appeared as well. Lelouch and Rolo were shocked.

One Piece Issue #547: The Great Escape

Luffy fought Magellan despite warnings from others. Magellan used his venom poison again and Luffy was forced to escape with others. Meanwhile, Bon was confused with Luffy’s progress. Jimbei and others were fighting on the ship. Afar, the Marine people were preparing to fire anytime at the ship. In the prison building, Bon and others were shocked to see Magellan running behind Luffy and others. The ceiling collapsed with Iva and Inazuma falling towards them. Bon was moved to tears to see them alive. Jimbei passed message to Luffy and others to jump into sea even if they had not yet secure a ship. Luffy trusted him. As he used his rubber punch to drive away Megallen, Jimbei summoned whales to fetch Luffy and others at sea. Luffy was thrilled.

Naruto Shippuuden #96: The Unseeming Enemy

While Naruto was training, Hinata and others were searching for Orochimaru’s lair. Guren also introduced their mission to her followers and told them of Kakashi and others’ presence. Naruto tried to get into Gamatasu’s mouth again to sense his chakra. Naruto was spilt out and he had a clue on going about it. Sakura ran to Naruto and he greeted her. She complained of his smell and dragged him away. In the woods, Hinata was tracking ninja’s chakra when they were being attacked. Hinata, Kakashi and Kiba engaged into fight with Guren’s subordinates. Kakashi was separated from Kiba and Hinata who faced off three enemies. Kiba and Akamaru used fang-to-fang technique. One enemy used poison mist and Akamaru told Kiba the mist was not poison but his smell of the enemies vanished. Kiba was shocked that enemies knew his location. Hinata saved Kiba in time. She faced off the water-like enemy using her Bayugan. Other place, Kakashi was fighting a huge size enemy.

Hinata was hit badly. Kiba went to her aid by crushing the woods around them. But both of them were surrounded by more enemies. Some noise distracted the enemies who left instantly. The noise was caused by Shino’s insects. Shino joined Hinata and Kiba. Kakashi joined them. Hinata was injured. Guren was watching them from her crystal ball and she was wary of Kakashi. Yukimaru was in the hut watching the crystal flower and thinking of his late mother.

Omake: Sakura messed up Hinata’s chocolate with wrong ingredients. The chocolate was given to Kiba. Hinata ran away. Shino and Kiba were confused. Kiba screamed at the unbearable taste.

I cannot stand the wait and skip to Naruto Shippuuden #112 without completing #96 - #111. Will rewatch #112 again once I complete those episodes. Anyway, #112 brings back to the canon plot when Deldara and Tobi finally captured Sanbi (3-tailed bijuu).

Naruto Shippuuden #112:

Naruto and his team sustained injuries after the battles and were summoned by Tsunade back to Konoha. On the night before departure, Yukimaru left and rejoined Guren who had been saved by her follower. Naruto knew and was relieved. After Naruto and his team left, 4 Konoha ANBU took over. Orochimaru gave up the quest for Sanbi as he had more important matter, i.e. taking over of Sasuke's body to attend to. At the lake, Deldara killed the Konoha ANBU and captured Sanbi using his explosive while Tobi tried to claim credit for his hard work. Within a day, Deldara completed the mission and told Tobi that Bijuu was harder to catch than Jinchuriki because it had no human mind to control.

Naruto Shippuuden #95: The Two Charms

Naruto got one toad to drink water for training water jutsu while another toad and Konohamaru watched. But it did not work. Naruto was forced to seal Gamatatsu’s nose lid and it worked.

Guren finally led Yukimaru to a hut where her subordinates were waiting. In Konoha, Shizune predicted Naruto would complain for being left out of the mission. A toad appeared on Tsunade’s desk. On the street, Naruto met Sai who was buying ink and suspected there was a mission going on. Sai tried to hide the fact but badly. Naruto saw a book falling out about how to lie. In other place, Kakashi and Team Kurenai continued their search. Shino showed them his bugs that were resistant to crystal jutsu. Kakashi predicted enemies to appear anytime. While Kakashi, Kiba and Hinata moved on, Shino summoned more bugs. In the hut, Guren introduced Yukimaru to her subordinates and told them that their mission was to deliver Yukimaru to the lake. They discussed of Konoha ninjas’ presence. Guren wanted them to defeat them. In Konoha, Naruto pleaded with Tsunade and Shizune to put him on mission as he stated that Jiraiya had told him that as long as he was thinking of someone, he would reach him. Tsunade finally agreed and Naruto ran off happily. Tsunade looked at the scroll from Jiraiya about Naruto’s power to change people and that Naruto had more guts than Jiraiya. Moreover, Naruto was not a kid any more as Naruto knew his risk if he used Rasenshuriken more than anyone.

In the woods, Kakashi, Kiba and Hinata were still tracking. In the hut, Yukimaru was playing with woods and was stunned when she saw the mark on Guren’s clothes. She recalled her mother’s back when she left. Yukimaru could not bear to see Guren’s departure and passed a charm to her. Guren accepted and Yukimaru smiled. In Konoha, Naruto urged his toads to be more serious in training. They agreed. Naruto was to go into Gamatatsu’s mouth first. Naruto and Gamatsu were not pleased. Naruto had to endure the smell to be aware of Gamatatsu’s presence. In the woods, Kakashi and others were still moving. Akamaru detected something and they stopped. From a cliff, Guren was watching and saw the red camellia, thinking of Yukimaru. At Konoha gate, Naruto was late and Sai apologised for disclosing the mission to Naruto. Yamato and Sakura did not mind. Sakura was getting impatient. At the lake, Naruto was still training. In the woods, Akamaru and Kiba picked up scents and Hinata used her Byakugan to check. She saw shinobis from afar.

Omake: Kakashi is a host to a ramen eating competition. Yamato, Sai, Shino, Kiba, Naruto and Hinata are contestants. Sai, Kiba and Shino are soon defeated. Naruto ate 30 bowls and lost to Yamato who ate 31 bowls. But Hinata who ate 46 bowls turns out to be the winner. On the sick beds, Kiba, Shino and Sai were bemused.

If all these Q & As are true, I guess there will be three new Akatsuki characters in the future manga plot since Kabuto and Sasuke are not really considered more powerful than Hidan and Kakuzu.

As for the Akatsuki member whom Kirabi kills, I guess it would be Kisame since Madara is sending him to capture the 8 tailed. As for motive of Kirabi to invade Konoha, I wonder if he is trying to save Naruto from Danzou since Kirabi doesn't look like the war obsessed person. If he takes Naruto from Konoha, Danzou will have a good excuse to send Konoha shinobis to engage a war against the Cloud village. I wouldn't be surprised if Danzou prepares to extract Nine tailed from Naruto who is highly reluctant to become his pawn for wars and is probably a threat to his position as Hokage. I suppose during the early stage of Danzou as Hokage, Naruto might meet Kirabi and become good friends as they are both Junchuriki.

But I may be wrong.

Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae #26: FINAL

Aki’s father was Yuzuki’s first client as Jigoku Shoujo. He was somehow related to the blame pushing case in Yuzuki’s father’s death that resulted to suffering of Yuzuki and her mother before their deaths. Yuzuki and the old man subordinate prepared to look into the case. At the bridge, the teacher was aware of Yuzuki’s becoming of Jigoku Shoujo and told Ren and others that she was only looking as she knew she had no power to control the situation. She left them, stating that she would likely not be seeing them again. In his room, Aki’s father was typing when his maid checked on him but he told her to go to rest. He was confronted with Yuzuki as Jigoku Shoujo when he was alone. She gave him a straw doll with red thread and told him of the binding contract. He was not concern of being sent to Hell ever since Aki’s disappearance. He was prepared to send the woman who had sent Aki to Hell out of the world. Yuzuki thought of her past and egged him on. Other place, two of Ai’s subordinates were playing and the little girl ripped a spider out of her forehead to see.

Aki’s father peeked the woman whom he wanted to send to Hell and made up his mind. In the park, he returned the straw doll to Yuzuki who was aghast that he had given up as she wanted to send him to Hell for his doing to her late father. Ai appeared and warned Yuzuki that she could not force a person to Hell without the contract being bound. Yuzuki did not care and attacked Emma Ai before walking away. Ai called for assembly of the others. Meanwhile, Yuzuki made her way to send the woman to Hell. She was shocked to see the woman with Aki’s face and a spider came out of her eye. The spider told her of the rule that she had broke and she tried to fight but was bound by Aki with spider thread. Ren, Emma Ai and others arrived to save Yuzuki and took her away. At the shrine water area, Ai faced Yuzuki silently. She showed her the vision of her young self lying with her teddy bear. Ai was aware that Yuzuki had been alone all along and stated that human beings are fragile. Ai began to weep as she touched young Yuzuki’s face. Yuzuki was surprised and tears began to fall. Ai explained that Aki’s father had never remove the thread because she saw the woman taking care of her sick father through the window before rejecting Yuzuki’s straw doll. Yuzuki began to cry. Aki’s form appeared to judge Yuzuki for breaking the rule. Yuzuki stated that she knew the form was not the real Aki as Aki was never cold and remote. Aki vanished replaced by the spider and Ai wanted to take the punishment on behalf of Yuzuki. Ai was willing to work as Jigoku Shoujo forever on behalf of Yuzuki.

Blue flowers bloomed around Ai and Yuzuki. Ai hugged Yuzuki, telling her not to worry. Yuzuki wondered why Ai did this and Ai kissed her, showing Ai’s past as a sacrifice together with her parents. Ai stated that it was because Yuzuki was just like her. Yuzuki was envious that Ai had a boyfriend before she vanished. As she turned into thin air, she thanked Ai. Alone, Ai resumed her position as Jigoku Shoujo as she made her way to her subordinates. Time passed, people continued to use Jigoku Shoujo’s Hell Correspondence to seek revenge.

THE END

07-Ghost #08:

Teito sensed something was wrong when he felt Mikage's hand was too cold. Other place, the priests sensed Mikage's soul taking only half of his body and sensed something bad was going to happen. Mikage told Teito to kill him while he still had the will to control himself but Teito refused. Flashback, Ayanami warned that because of Mikage's choice for both his younger sister and Teito, he would kill him. Back to present, Mikage mentioned Ayanami to Teito and lost his consciousness to the other him. Teito ran away from the attacking Mikage who began to spout skeleton wings. Teito attempted to break the wings but Mikage told him that he was not like a Khor as Mikage would die if the skeleton wings were broken.

Other place, Frau sensed something amiss and set off to look for Teito. In the dark room where Teito was trapped with Mikage, Mikage removed the chains off Teito and replaced it with a collar over his neck so that he could take Teito back alive. Any resistance would result to suicidial consquence. Meanwhile, Frau was still looking for Teito in his Shinigami form and was being harrassed by some spirits. Teito lost consciousness and the power of the eye inserted into him hy his father years ago woke.

Naruto Shippuuden #94: A Night of Rain

Kabuto reported to Orochimaru for the drug he had experimented for Yukimaru and asked Orochimaru if he was all right with Guren but Orochimaru only smirked as he was confident that their plan would bear fruit when Guren and Yukimaru’s power would become one. As Kabuto walked away to meet Guren, he noticed a bat watching him. He sensed Guren’s naiveness as she was joyful of Orochimaru’s order for her. Together, they went to a fountain place where Yukimaru was waiting. Kabuto introduced Yukimaru to Guren and told her that she would be taking the boy. She was not happy and attacked Kabuto with her crystal for he criticized her. Yukimaru was shocked of her power. Kabuto knew Guren was capable of sending crystal from anywhere even though she was without any weapon. He reminded her of her dream to become one with Orochimaru. She released Kabuto from her surrounding crystal. Yukimaru was fascinated with the snow like crystal shards. Kabuto commented that Guren and Yukimaru matched nicely and reminded that Konoha was on the move as he had killed an ANBU along the way.

It was a raining day when Yukimaru kept asking Guren if there was a place, a home where he could return to while she took Yukimaru along. Meanwhile, Riji and others noticed tracks of Team 8. Same time, Shino noticed more of his crystalised insects and kept one, trying to free it from the crystal as it was carrying eggs. It regained its freedom. In Konoha, Naruto tried to coo Gamatatsu to use water technique and quarreled with it while Konohamaru watched. They thought hard and Naruto proposed drinking water first to try. Other place, Yukimaru was still walking behind Guren. Meanwhile, Guren’s followers were pondering over whether they should turn themselves to Konoha for protection. In the woods, Guren was still grumbling over Yukimaru’s pace. Yukimaru was still thinking of Naruto’s words about a place to go back. Guren told Yukimaru to walk faster. He asked her about camellia and asked her if she liked it. She said she disliked it and Yukimaru passed out. Seeing the raining sky, Guren quickly took him for refuge in a hut. He shivered in cold and she attended to him, finding that he was running with fever. She built fire for him.

In Konoha, Tsunade summoned for Yamato to take Sai and Sakura to support Kakashi and Team 8. She warned Yamato not to tell Naruto about it. In other place, Kiba and Hinata reported to Kakashi that they couldn’t find anything. Kiba noticed the bats and told others about it as someone was already watching them. Shino meanwhile was watching surrounding in forest from a tree. Meanwhile, Guren’s subordinates were getting impatient waiting for her. In the hut, Guren was watching Yukimaru who commented her hand was warm. Time passed. Guren dozed off, dreaming of her past when someone took care of her while she was ill and injured. Next morning, Guren woke to find herself covered in blanket and Yukimaru missing. She hurried out of the hut to follow flute music. At the riverside, under a tree sat Yukimaru who was playing a tune with a flute inherited from his mother. He told her of his mother who never returned to him. Guren crystallized a white camellia and gave it to Yukimaru. She told him that it would not wither as long as she was alive.

Omake: Naruto commented how big Akamaru had grown and asked Kiba if he had noticed it. Kiba commented the increase amount of shampoo Akamaru used and his increasing weight. Naruto was bemused.
