Inuyasha – Final Act #05:

In the woods, Kohaku approached Kikyou and told her his willingness to sacrifice his life to destroy Naraku. With that, he followed her from then on. Other place, Naraku’s ‘heart’ managed to absorb the twin youkai brothers to increase his bond between his body and armor. Sesshoumaru tried to attack him but Byakuya diverted his attention and aided the ‘heart’s escape. Meanwhile, Toutousai told Inuyasha that Inuyasha was hurt by Tessaiga because of his hanyou form that could not withstand the absorption of demonic power by the sword made from fang of his youkai father. To amend this problem, Inuyasha was to seek for help from demon hermit.


When Inuyasha and others reached there, the hermit told them that his gut was stolen by a demon and this caused the villagers around him looking like demons. Inuyasha tried to identify the demon vortex from the demons while chains bound his sword and finally located the correct one, hence, the chains were released from his sword and Inuyasha passed the hermit’s test. Inuyasha was told that his sword was not meant to absorb demon ki but to cut. With the passing of the hermit’s test, Inuyasha’s Tessaiga glowed golden and became stronger.

Bleach #244:

Kenpachi defeated Kira’s Zanpakutou with a blow and blasted the others away. Encouraged by his captain’s power, Ikkaku’s comrade fought his Zanpakutou and defeated him based on will power alone. Byakuya fought Kenpachi while Byakuya’s Zanpakutou fought Ichigo. Sai Fon faced off her Zanpakutou. Rukia pulled Renji out of the debris and watched the battles around them.

FMA – Brotherhood OVA 1:

Ed and Al heard rumors about an alchemist – Judau who succeeded in human transmutation. They visited him and he told Ed how he managed to resurrect Rosalie – his master’s daughter in exchange for his eyes. Meanwhile, Al was pulled by Rosalie to the real Rosalie in a room.

Al was shocked to see the real Rosalie a shrunken form of the original body and the fake Rosalie (whose real name was Amy) told Al that she was adopted from Orphanage because of her resemblance to the real Rosalie by Rosalie’s family so that they could lie Judau to ensure his happiness. Ed learned the fact and knew even though everyone was happy with the lie; no one was actually saved and Judau’s human transmutation was never successful in the first place at all.

Full Metal Panic #08:

Sosuke managed to stop a schoolmate from pestering (wooing) Chidori. A girl who was interested with the schoolmate was openly rejected by the latter and forced Sosuke to pretend to be her boyfriend in front of her friends. Chidori tagged along. After her lies was exposed, she ran away in tears and her friends ran after her. Chidori realised that she liked Sosuke.

Full Metal Panic #09:

In a country, Sosuke and his two comrades attacked a suspected base for A1 terrorist hideout and found the information inaccurate. Sosuke remembered that he forgot his appointment with Chidori the day before and hurried back to school where she beat him in the baseball field. He later gave her a gift that was practical in defence use. At the airport in Japan, a boy was arrested for attacking the airport officer and he was found to be injected with drug that synchronized him with the special driver within AS robot. In the detention building, Major Tasa and general went to visit the boy to verify the drug but the base was attacked by A1 terrorists. Tasa took the boy away while her general was captured by the terrorists. From school on their way home, Chidori scolded Sosuke for his bad way of apology and later regretted about it. Sosuke returned home to see Tasa and the boy in his house.

Full Metal Panic #10:

Chidori visited Sosuke with leftover food and almost got the wrong idea until they explained. Sosuke noticed the tracker on the boy and Chidori destroyed it using microwave oven. They sought refuge in school that night. The boy stole Chidori’s phone and used it to send information of his whereout to his comrades. Meanwhile, the boy’s sister was interrogating the general information on the special device. When Chidori and Tasa were in the washroom, they were abducted and Sosuke was being commanded to take the boy to the compound where his comrades held the girls hostage. Sosuke tried to get the girls to escape but his hiding was bombed and the girls were captured again.

Full Metal Panic #11:

The girls were taken to the ship where the A1 terrorists were hiding. Meanwhile, Sosuke’s comrades arrived in school with the AS robot to find Sosuke without the girls. Sosuke had managed to seek refuge within the building before the explosion and told them that they were 10 minutes late. They set off. In the terrorist base, the general and Tasa managed to free themselves and together with Chidori, they reached the basement where the boy commenced the operation of his special AS robot.

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood #30:

Flashback, Roy told his teacher that he was joining the military and he disapproved Roy’s decision even at his deathbed. Before he passed away, he told Roy that his research was craved onto his daughter – Riza. At his tombstone, Roy told Riza of his decision to military and she supported him. Back to present, Riza was bathing and there was an alchemy craving on her back. Just then, Ed arrived and was hit by her dog. He and Riza had a talk and she told him about her participation of the war in Ishbal. In the subway, Scar was being told of Maroh’s involvement to turn his people’s souls into Philosopher’s Stone. He was angry.

Flashback, the Ishbal civil war was triggered when Envy who disguised as an Amestria soldier shot an Ishbal child. Armstrong, Roy, Hughes and the recently joined Riza were involved into the elimination of Ishbal people due to Bradley’s documental approval. After the war, Riza was officially appointed by Roy personally as his lieutenant to watch his back, making sure he did not go astray. Back to present, Al told Chang Mei his real appearance and she had wild imagination that he was handsome like a prince. Meanwhile, Envy visited Maroh to see his headless body lay bloody against the wall.

Dragon Ball Kai #30:

Raikoom fought and defeated Vegeta, Gohan and Kirin with ease. Freeza received the dragon balls but did not know how to activate them. He set off to find the surviving Nemekjins. As Gohan fell, Goku arrived on his spaceship.

Inuyasha – Final Act #04:

While Sesshoumaru practiced his new sword technique, Inuyasha sought consultant with Toutousai on his sword condition. He advised Inuyasha to get his sword to absorb Dakki. Later, Inuyasha and others came to a village where a demon was killed by a human sword forger. But the sword forger was taken control by the demon aura as he used the demonic sword. After some effect, the human forger who refused to listen Inuyasha's advice, was killed by his own sword. Inuyasha's sword absorbed the Dakki to possess dragon scale form.

Other place, Byakuya manipulated a wolf clan child to fight Kouga using his younger brother as hostage. Kouga tried to aid the child and faced off Naraku's other body. Inuyasha and others arrived.

Sango saved the child's younger brother. After some quarrelling, Kouga and Inuyasha joined forces against Naraku's other body. Inuyasha's new sword technique drove the demon away but Inuyasha was injured by his own sword. Byakuya reported his finding to Naraku who continued to monitor the situation.

Fullmetal Alchemist - Brotherhood #29:

Envy, in form of a soldier led Ed and Al into military building via an elevator that linked the subway to the building. The brothers were shocked of the close connection between Homuncli and the military. Later at bath, Ed told Al of his finding of Al's physical body condition. Al was relieved. Al told Ed that Chang Mei was hiding in his armor. Envy sent the brothers to the office where Bradley and Roy were waiting. Roy told Ed that all his subordinates had been deployed to different divisions in other areas and that both of them were in the same shoe. Bradley threatened them not to resign using Riza and Winry's lives.

Later, Ed called Winry to check on her condition and she reassured him that she was fine at her place. When they hung up the phone, Greed turned up and told Ed and Al to pass Ling's message to Ran Fan. In the doctor's house, Ran Fan received the cloth message and told Al that Ling had obtained the Philosopher's Stone. She was aghast to learn the Ling did not return with them. Meanwhile, Roy met Riza and Armstrong and told them of the military's true intention. Armstrong refused to back down despite his mental ability to handle the stress. Roy found the situation a challenge to him as an ordinary human being.

Other place, Scar ran into Marcoh who told him his involvement in the Ishbal war. Scar was shocked and angry, slamming Marcoh's face to the ground. In the doctor's house, Ran Fan and Chang Mei faced off as opponents in Xing Country until the doctor stopped them. Later, Al helped the doctor cleared his mess and saw the doctor's family photo which he did not care as he and his wife had already divorced.

FMA Brotherhood #28: Father

Gluttony guided Al to the lair where 'Father' waited. Al was shocked to see the man having his own father's appearance. Just then, Ed, Ling and Envy broke out of Gluttony's stomach. 'Father' was delighted to learn that Hohem had two sons - Ed and Al. Ed and Al were shocked to see 'Father' able to heal them without applying the law of equvalent exchange.

Ling was shocked and fearful of 'Father's eyes and his ideas that human beings are lowly creatures. 'Father' told them that humans were like ants to him and summoned Gluttony to eat Ling. Immediately, Al, Ed and Ling fought them but 'Father' was able to block all their attacks easily. With a stamp of his foot, bright red lights filled the place and deactivated Al and Ed's ability to carry out transmutation. Out in the mountainous place, Hohem watched an area from afar.

Back in the lair, Ed and Al as well as Ling were pinned to the ground. 'Father' inserted Greed's Philosopher's Stone into Ling's wound. Thinking of Ran Fan's earlier sacrifice of her arm, Ling did not hesitate to sacrifice his body to Greed in order to gain Philosopher's Stone. Ed and Al were aghast. Suddenly, Scar and Chang Mei entered the room. Chang Mei reunited with Xiao Mei.

Chang Mei had a fearful feeling of 'Father' and was greatly disappointed to see Ed short, a far difference from her imagination of a genius alchemist. She retorted that Ed had cheated her feeling. Much to Ed and Al's surprise, Scar and Chang Mei were able to activate transmutation despite 'Father's technique. Greed!Ling fought Ed while Al saved Chang Mei from Gluttony. Ed told Scar of 'Father' and Envy's involvement in causing war in his country and the angry Scar attacked 'Father' who was still astonished of Scar's ability to use alchemy. Al and Scar joined forces. Scar managed to escape the scene while Al hid Chang Mei in time. The trapped Ed and Al were sent back to the military building by Envy under 'Father's command. When everything was clear, 'Father' detached Gluttony's Philosopher's Stone from his damaged body and promised to find a new one for him with his memory intact.

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood #27:

The episode begins with Hohenheim talking to young Pinako about humans who never learned from wars and weakness of humanity near the fire place. Through their conversations, interjected by 'Father' who taunted of poor humans who were only useful as ingredients as Philosopher's Stones, were flashbacks of past episodes about how humans, eg the Elric brothers and others' pathetic acts in their attempt to overcome difficulties. After everything was over, Hohenheim woke to find the illusions of flashbacks and young Pinako and 'Father' his dream.

COMMENT:

Reminds me a lot about last episode of Neon Evangelion series. Also new opening and ending.

Love the new opening 'Golden Time Lover' graphics as it's pretty cool and also includes Olivia Armstrong.

Inuyasha - Final Act 02: Kagura's Wind

Kagura was confronted by Naraku who offered to give her heart back and hence her freedom, knowing her betrayal. Other place, Sango and Kohaku paid respect to their dead clan people. In the cave of Moridori miko, Inuyasha, Shippou, Miroku, Kagome and Moyoga watched. There was a pure barrier between them and remains of the miko who died with the demons that resulted to creation of Shikon no tama. Inuyasha smelt something familiar. That night, he insisted watching the remains in the cave alone and a soul insect emerged taking the miko's soul away. Inuyasha followed it and found Kikyou. Kohaku sensed the merging of the miko's soul into Kikyou and went to the scene, overhearing Kikyou's plan to defeat Naraku. He ran off telling Inuyasha that he would do anything to defeat Naraku. Blocked by the barrier, Inuyasha could not stop him.

At a lake, Naraku's heart managed to devour another demon with strongest armor. Other place, Naraku returned Kagura's heart and injected miasa into her, causing her fatally injured. Kagura flew off, weakened. Same time, Kouga and his gang managed to obtain their ancestor's claw when Kouga was willing to sacrifice getting the weapon in order to protect his comrades. Other place, Sesshoumaru got into a fight with Naraku's heart and managed to fight him away after sensing Kagura's dying scent. Meanwhile, Inuyasha and others were also rushing towards the flower bed area where the dying Kagura was sitting. Sesshoumaru reached her first and she died smiling. Sesshoumaru told Inuyasha Kagura's last smile and left.

One Piece #421:

While Hancock was feeling the troubled about the female crews within Luffy’s group, Luffy was having great feast day and night on the ship. Robin, in other place, learned that she was on the island of labour and she was condemned as one of the slaves to finish the never-ending building of bridge. Usopp, meanwhile, was fearful of the man-eating plants around him.

Same time, Zorro landed on a lonely island of Rugg where a negative girl whom Kuma had sent times ago had stayed ever since. She took in the injured Zorro and tried to make him stay with her using her Negative Hollow technique. Other place, Brook landed on an island of ‘Hungeria’ where the people who wanted revenge using help of Satan mistook him for their devil god and wanted him to help them.

On the ship, one Marine officer suspected someone else hiding in Hancock’s cabin and told his superior. The officers went to investigate and Hancock cleared their suspicion by imitating Luffy’s tone in front of them. In the Great Prison, a senior Marine officer went to see Ace and told him that the Government was in a mess because of him. Ace told him to kill him but he refused, as Ace was an important person to lure out Whitebeard. Ace wept and in his mind, he called Whitebeard his father.

Samurai Champloo #01:

In a place, Mugen and Jin were about to be executed by a corrupted officer. A day ago, Fuu was attending to customers in her little eatery inn when Mugen entered asking for plain water. After she told him that he had to buy other food in order for her to serve him, she accidentally tripped and tipped hot tea over a corrupted officer’s son. He threatened to cut off her finger and she called Mugen to help her in return for 100 dango. Outside the eatery, Jin went to help a poor man who was being forced by the corrupted officer to pay up by killing the officer’s men. In the eatery, Mugen killed the followers of the corrupted officer’s son and demanded more powerful followers to fight him. Just then, Jin entered and Mugen mistook him for one follower and wanted to fight him. As they fought, the eatery caught fire. Fuu and her colleagues escaped out of the building. Before Mugen lost consciousness, he had a funny vision of Jin having a bath amidst the fire.

When he regained consciousness, he and Jin were arrested by the corrupted officer who was flaring because his son was killed in the fire. After torturing them, he declared to execute them the next day. Meanwhile, with nothing left, Fuu left to look for Mugen and Jin. She found them and tried to release them from the jail but failed. On the time of execution, she used explosive to distract the officer’s men while Mugen and Jin freed themselves from their bounds and killed the corrupted officer. After they got away with Fuu, Fuu asked them to help her find a samurai with smell of sunflowers. They agreed and left.

Samurai Champloo #02:

In a dark cell, a huge man was released to carry out another man’s order. It was daytime when Mugen, Jin and Fuu were trying to gather enough money to buy their meals. After overhearing conversation from some customers in an inn, Mugen volunteered to deal with the mysterious kidnappers. In return, they had food. Fuu got herself drunk and had to be carried on a trolley by Mugen and Jin. Along the way, Mugen ran into a woman who offered lodging for the three of them. Back at the eatery inn, a man killed the inn owner for helping him lure Mugen, Jin and Fuu into his trap.

It was night. Mugen and the woman were drinking in a room. Outside the house, Fuu was knocked unconscious by two men and taken away. Out in the open, Jin was soaking in hot spring with a stranger and they watched the fireflies in the sky. Out on the road, Fuu witnessed the larger of the men killing two invaders easily with his limbs. Later, in a hut, she saw the larger man watching the moon and telling her that other people had despised him because of his ugly look. Fuu stated that he was not ugly and showed him a firefly in her hands. The second man, who was the initiator of the kidnapping, interrupted their conversation. Meanwhile, Mugen pushed the woman host away when she attempted to poison him with her kiss. He ran off looking for Fuu as she told him that she was probably in danger. Same time, Jin was also looking for Fuu when the stranger at the hot spring told him about Fuu. Mugen was confronted by the two men who showed him the tied up Fuu. In the bamboo woods, Jin and the stranger fought. Other place, Fuu was about to be killed by the initiator when the larger man killed him to protect her. Mugen in his haste to secure Fuu’s safety stabbed the larger man. Fuu asked the man why he wanted to save her and he told her that she was the only person who did not despise him for his look before he died.

Fullmetal Alchemist Issue #100:

From afar, Greed!Ling was distracted by the intense alchemy effect and was dragged down the building. Ran Fan grabbed Ling’s arm. Ling ordered her to look after Fuu instead. She wept and told him that her grandfather – Fuu was already dead. The Brigg’s soldiers tried to help but Bradley injured them with his knives instead. King Bradley finally fell into the water below. Ling wanted to use Greed’s Philosopher’s Stone to save Fuu and wanted any alchemy to come forward to revive Fuu. Olivia’s men told Ling to help them protect the gate, as he was the only one who could. Ling wanted Greed to give him power and ordered Ran Fan to protect the people. Ling moved forward in full steel form to face the enemy and fought fiercely. The Briggs soldiers were glad that Ling was on their side. Olivia’s lieutenant finally died.

Other place, Hughes’ wife and daughter were watching a solar eclipse above. Other place, Ed, Izumi and Al were transmuted into a place. A black person with eyes all over him with Hohenheim struck within his stomach approached them and stated they were still one person short. Ed was shocked to see Al not getting up. Other place, Roy and Riza were captured by the puppet people. So was Scar. The lab researcher wanted Roy to open the Gate by doing human transmutation. Roy flatly refused. One of the puppet men began to cut Riza’s neck. Roy screamed.

Bleach Movie #03 – Fade to Black:

Have also watched Bleach movie #03.

The story begins with Mayuri trying to do some experiments and ended up losing his memory and his creation created havoc destroying Soul Society, enveloping several shinigamis in white sticky substance. An unknown man with Scythe appeared from the creation slashing Mayuri and later Rukia causing both of them to lose memory. A girl and the man took Rukia away. In his home, Ichigo sensed something wrong. For a brief moment, he forgot who Rukia was and was scolded by Kon until he dreamed of how he met her. Next day, he and Kon went to look for Urahara and others who also forgot who Rukia was. Urahara offered to send Ichigo to Seireitei.


In Seireitei, he was confronted by several Shinigamis, including Renji who forgot Rukia and Ichigo. Ichigo was mistook as intruder and had to fight his way. Ichigo questioned Renji of his bankai. Ichigo was healed by Hanatora who also forgot Ichigo in the subway. In Soul Society, Rukia woke in a house where the girl and her brother attended to her. Apparently, they had met before in the past and Rukia had given them names but she had forgotten about it. She remembered herself being attacked by a Shinigami then. In Seireitei, Urahara went to look for Mayuri asking him of his researches. Same time, Ichigo approached Byakuya who told him Rukia’s late elder sister’s hometown. Ichigo left and finally found Rukia. The siblings appeared, fought off Ichigo and took Rukia away.


Ichigo was confronted by Hitsugaya and others who attacked him, so were Soi Fon and others. Urahara, Renji and Yoruichi went to Ichigo’s aid. Renji had recalled his bankai’s name and also through his guts, he knew Ichigo was not an enemy. Urahara explained the situation to the Shinigami. Meanwhile, the siblings brought Rukia to Mayuri’s base hoping to regain some of her memories so that she could recall their names and also to regain her health. Same time, Urahara explained that the Shinigami remembered Mayuri because he had kept a copy of his memory in his lab. Ichigo was forgotten when Rukia was slashed because his Shinigami power was originally from her, therefore, they were linked.


Ichigo and Renji set off to look for Rukia. Ichigo made use of his link to Rukia and tracked her in Mayuri’s lab. Rukia remembered bits of her past with Ichigo and Renji when they confronted her and the siblings in the lab. The siblings activated Mayuri’s equipments and monstrous serpents broke loose. The siblings merged with Rukia’s body and fought Ichigo while Renji fought the monster. The other shinigamis joined in the fight against the monster. Ichigo managed to transfer his Shinigami power to Rukia and she returned back to normal. Rukia finally recalled the past when the younger she and the two siblings were attacked by a Hollow possessed Shinigami. The possessed Shinigami slashed the siblings into the Hollow’s world where they roamed for 100 years while Rukia lost her memory of them. She remembered their names and told them before they finally died. Rukia cried. Meanwhile, others regained their memories of Rukia and Ichigo.

COMMENT: Plot pretty boring and expected. Tired of hero saving girl in distress tales and the filler siblings look weird.

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood #26: Reunion

Envy continued fighting Ed and Ling. Ed was shocked to see the souls within Ed and Ling pulled him away in time. Envy pulled Ed into him when Ed got dazed over the souls. Other place, Scar and Chang Mei were looking for Xiao Mei when they saw Al following Gluttony into a subway. They followed them together. Chang Mei sensed life crawling underneath the ground. In the subway, Al was shocked to see skeletons lying around with chimeras. Within Gluttony’s ‘Gate’, Ed saw the Philosopher’s Stone within Envy. He recalled the Alchemy diagrams and yelled Envy to let him out, knowing a way to get out of the place. In the subway, Scar and Chang Mei fought the chimeras. Same time, Gluttony was leading Al towards ‘Father’ who sensed people approaching. In the military, Bradley related his past to Roy. He had been trained since a baby and being put in lab where a Philosopher’s Stone was injected into him. Bradley survived the injection and was renamed King Bradley. Roy asked Bradley to live as human but was refused.

Within Gluttony, Envy gathered the murals within the place while Ed interpreted the meanings. Ed confirmed his suspicion that someone had transmuted a city’s people into Philosopher’s Stone. Envy offered to tell when they got out. Envy gave his Stone to Ed. Ling told Ed to get out of the place alive. With that, Ed carried out transmutation and opened the ‘Gate’. Ling and Envy hoped in. Ed met Truth again. Outside, Al and Gluttony reached ‘Father’s base. In ‘Gate’, Ed saw two doors and… the real body of Alphonse Elric. Ed wanted to reach Al but little hands pulled him away. Ed yelled for him but he refused because he was not his soul. Ed yelled that he would definitely return to get him. Al smiled and nodded to him. The door closed and separated the brothers apart.

One Piece #420:

Luffy and Hancock’s journey went on. Hancock tried to crack conversation with Luffy. Other place, a little girl was picking wood in a snowy land when she found Robin. The girl – Soran took her in a house where the people did not seem happy, as officers were strict with strangers. Soran and others had to work a lot like prisoners in the country. Robin woke to see Soran dirty and Soran told Robin that everyone was building bridges to link islands. Soran showed Robin her drawings of outside world using her imagination. Robin told her adventures in outside world and Soran was impressed. Other people joined in to listen. Outside, a woman betrayed Robin to the officers who stormed into the building.

The other people hid Robin and were being interrogated. The officers broke Soran’s drawings. Soran watched in tears. Soran and others were arrested. Suddenly, there were gunshots for Robin attacked the officers. Soran and others were let off as the officers ran to help their comrades against Robin. Robin later arrested and was told that the prisoners came from all other countries as slaves.

In other island, Usopp was exploring in the jungle and was chased by giant bugs. A bug man appeared. He showed Usopp fruits and explained human eating plants.

Phantom – Requiem for the Phantom #26 FINALE: Elen

The female assassins moved towards the church where Reiji and Elen faced off them. Shiga cursed that Scythe’s work would backfire him. Two of the female assassins were down. Elen confronted Scythe who sent two assassins to fight her with knives. Elen killed them easily. Other place, Reiji fought the remaining two and finished them off quickly. He left the church to look for Elen. Elen pointed her gun at Scythe who knew her weakness. Nearby, Reiji watched. Elen told Scythe that she would still kill him for hurting Reiji. Elen shot Scythe and he collapsed in a pool of blood. Day arrived. Elen collapsed and Reiji supported her. Elen cried. Reiji led her back. Other place, the Inferno leader knew Scythe’s death and felt nothing. Later, the place was cordoned by the police. Mio watched from afar and knew Reiji was gone again.

6 months later, Reiji was studying Scythe’s background in other country with Elen next to him. He was searching for Elen’s real identity who was suspected to be from Mongolian. They reached the place where Elen was suspected to be originated. The sky was the same as Elen’s memory. She knew and remembered the sky. She was already satisfied because Reiji already gave her a name and he was with her. Someone shot Reiji from a passing horse carriage and he fell. Elen did not notice.

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood #25: The Door of Darkness

Ed and Ling were stuck in Gluttony’s stomach while Chang Mei related her first encounter with Xiao Mei and her weakened clan in other place. Scar agreed to find Xiao Mei with her. In Gluttony’s stomach, Ling collapsed from hunger. Ed was forced to carry him but tripped. Both of them had to rest. Ed had to cook his leather boot to build strength for himself and Ling. Just then, Envy came to join them and confirmed there was no exit. Envy reminded them that Gluttony’s stomach was like the Door of Truth except it was a duplicate one done by ‘Father’. Ed refused to accept it as he had promised to meet Al. Envy told them that he was the one who started the Ishbal war by shooting a child in form of Amesian soldier. Outside, Scar and Xiao Mei were walking. Inside Gluttony, Ed attacked Envy in anger. Envy revealed his true huge monstrous form. Outside, Al and Xiao Mei watched Gluttony. Al asked Gluttony to take him to ‘Father’. Gluttony agreed. In the government building, the military was discussing. In the office, King Bradley talked to Roy. Bradley stated Selim was not his weakness. Outside the building, Riza was told that all Roy’s subordinates were transferred to different departments. She herself was transferred as Bradley’s adviser. Inside Gluttony’s stomach, Ling and Ed had difficulty fighting Envy. Ed created spear from the blood liquid around them for Ling. Outside, Gluttony led the way for Al towards Central to look for ‘Father’. Al was shocked.

One Piece #418:

While hiding within the Marine ship, Luffy dreamed of his separated comrades and woke after yelling their names. Hebi Hime imagined how she got closer with Luffy on the ship and got excited over it. Flashback in other place, Namie landed on a weatheria island and was taken in by an old man who tried to cheer her up with wind knots. In return, she tried to help back by breaking up a cyclone storm. The old man told her that the cyclone was his experiment on the island for weathers and the weatheria island was a floating island on the sky. Namie was shocked. Other place, a little boy, his grandfather and his dog found Franky lying on the snow. They tried to give him something to warm himself up but Franky ended up luring them to dance along with him. The boy’s grandfather told Franky that the place was Mechanical island – a place for genius. Franky froze up and collapsed. In the medical building, the doctors were surprised to find Franky a cybord and having no cola to fuel Franky up, they used tea instead. Franky’s personality changed gentleman-like and even offered the boy and his grandfather tea. The boy missed Franky’s funky self. A signage of the building fell off revealing a name.

Valkyria Chronicles #15:

Squad 3 and 7 members were in depressed mood after the mission that had resulted to deaths of many locals. The commander summoned all captains and told them of an arrangement for party to everyone to boost the morales of the people. Welkin and others suggested Rosie to sing as representative of squad 7 but she refused for she did not want to sing in front of a particular race, hinting Issac. Welkin tried to talk Rosie through but in vain. Feeling hurt, Issac went to wash her tank, not concentrating. Ramel came along and tried to cheer her up. Issac summoned her courage and asked Rosie of her hatred for her race. Rosie related her sad past when her parents were killed before her eyes after they tried to let Issac’s race people hide within their house. Issac pleaded Rosie to sing for their squad at the party, in return, she would not turn up for the event. Later, Welkin and Alicia were shocked. Issac stated her reason to Welkin who decided to respect her choice. Alicia was angry and complained to Fladio. As the party started, Fladio managed to drag Issac to the backstage. Despite her unhappiness, Rosie decided to sing for everyone just for that night. The moods of all people improved during the party. Impressed and pleased, Alicia thanked Fradio. Fradio confessed his feeling for her. Same time, Welkin thought of Fradio’s confession about his love interest in Alicia and felt uneasy.

Valkyria Chronicles #16:

It was the next day after the party, a member of Squad 7 noticed Welkin, Alicia and Rosie’s uneasy expressions. Later after a meeting, Fradio told Welkin that he had tried to confess his feeling for Alicia. Meanwhile, Ramel accompanied Issac to the market to buy things. The Squad 7 member met up with Welkin and told him his past in privacy. The squad member used to have a comrade who loved the same woman he loved but had died eventually even though the squad member gave in to his rival. After that, the squad member could only watch the woman he loved from afar and the woman had become the commander. Back to present, Alicia was feeling frustrated over the entire issue and confronted Welkin for his feeling for her. He expressed none and she walked off disappointed. As Welkin returned to his room, Issac was waiting for him with dinner on the table.

Valkyria Chronicles #17:

Squad 7 was given a risky mission. Before its commencement, the squads celebrated a festival for gift exchanges. Ramel gave Issac a present while she gave Rosie a lucky charm. She also prepared smoke bombs for the upcoming mission. Fadio gave Alicia the stone she had dropped during the last ball event when she and the princess were almost kidnapped.

At the commencement of the mission, Rosie managed to dodge the shoot in time when she retrieved the lucky charm Issac gave her. Welkin ordered her to stay behind to recover. As the mission succeeded, Welkin shot a spark in the sky. Issac and Rosie were relieved. Unfortunately, an enemy soldier spotted them and shot them. Issac fell before the eyes of the shocked Rosie.

Phantom – Requiem for the Phantom #25: Conclusion

Shiga and his men entered the neglected mansion and found Mio safe and sound. After her rest back in her home, Mio’s mother told Mio the truth that her father was still alive. Mio contacted Reiji and told him of Cal and Elen’s whereout. She told him that she forgave him and would be waiting for him. Shiga told his men to make sure that the Phantoms were killed even if they were kids. Mio’s mother was disapproving his deeds. In an old place, Cal yelled at the ghosts of Judy, Lizzie and a man of her justice before she made her way to the meeting place. In the church, Elen was praying when Reiji approached her, wanting to be the one to kill Cal, as he would be the only one who mourned for her death. Later, Cal entered the church only to be confronted by Reiji. Meanwhile, Elen faced off Shiga and his men in cross fires. In the church, Reiji thought of an alternate circumstance when he and Cal were travelling peacefully on the highways in a car. Back to reality, he shot Cal and cried in angst as she died in his arms with a smile. Outside, Elen eliminated Shiga’s men. Scythe made his appearance with his six female masked assassins. As Reiji laid Cal to rest, he picked his rifle and made his way out of the church, ready to kill for his survival.

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood #24:In the Stomach

Envy taunted Marco for human weakness in emotions. Along the corridor, hidden in the darkness, Pride told Bradley off for misbehaving to ‘Father’. At the isolated hut, Gluttony attacked Roy and the Elric brothers. The doctor prepared his jeep to send Lan Fan, Riza and others to safety. Caught in the crossfires and due to lack of space in the jeep, the Elric brothers and Yao Ling volunteered to stay behind to hold back Gluttony that began sucking everything up in his path. Envy appeared in the form of dog and reminded Gluttony not to eat the Elric brothers. Getting the hint, Ed and Al attacked Gluttony while Yao Ling faced off Envy. In the mansion, Selim read his composition about his father to his foster mother and Bradley. At the battlefield, Envy distracted Yao Ling’s attention by transforming into Lan Fan. Gluttony sucked Yao Ling. Aghasted, Ed caught onto Yao Ling and Envy grabbed Ed. Three of them were devoured by Gluttony. Al screamed in angst. In the doctor’s place, Lan Fan was being held back from going after Yao Ling due to her weak condition while Roy and Riza insisted on returning to the military to check on King Bradley – the Homunculus. At the building, Riza insisted waiting for Roy who entered it. Within the building, Roy was shocked to learn that the overall top military as a whole was in league with the Homunculi. He finally understood Hughes’ words that the military as a whole was a danger itself. Meanwhile, Ed woke to find himself in the darkness filled with red liquid and skeletons. He screamed his confusion of his whereout.

Fullmetal Alchemist Issue #99

As Greed!Ling, Olivia's subordinate and Ran Fan's grandfather fought King Bradley, Bradley stabbed Ran Fan's grandfather on his forehead. Ling took over his own body and tried to save Ran Fan's grandfather. But the latter hit Ling on his neck so that Greed could take over, hence distracting Ling from trying to sacrificing his life to save the old man. Ran Fan's grandfather attempted to die with Bradley using the bombs strapped around his body but failed. Olivia's subordinate gave him a hand by pinning Bradley with his sword through Ran Fan's grandfather's body. From afar, Ran Fan sensed her grandfather's death.

In the subway, the mysterious researcher introduced himself as the one who created King Bradley and sent failure humans who did not take over as King Bradley at Roy, Riza, Scar and Ed. Ed realised the five labs were in position of the transmutation circle. To his aghast, the man activated the transmutation circle using the failure experimented men as sacrifice. At different places in the same time, Ed, Al and Izumi were dragged by dark hands of the Gate and vanished without a trace.

Shangri-La #24: FINALE

Ryoko threatened Kuniko to pull the spear with Mikuni’s live. She told them that they were both carrying Hiruko’s gene. She stated Kuniko was Himiko’s clone. Other place, Kuniko told Momoko and others that the young major was the real son of Himiko. She went on to tell them that Ryoko was planning to possess either Kuniko or Mikuni’s body as her body could not be managed forever. Meanwhile, Ryoko’s subordinates were working on something. In the dark place, Ryoko commanded MEDUSA to destroy the world. She told Kuniko that only the latter could stop MEDUSA by pulling the spear. Leaving with no choice, Kuniko pulled it. Huge force erupted. Ryoko was pleased.

Suddenly, MEDUSA became chibi again and was confronted by water from the floodgate. The others knew Karin managed to rewrite MEDUSA in the last minute. Other place, Karin apologised to MEDUSA as her pet project drowned. Other place, Ryoko was angry but had a plan to take over Kuniko’s body. Kuniko broke the spear and attacked Ryoko. Miko’s soul appeared and shielded Mikuni. Kuniko stabbed Ryoko in her stomach. Ryoko taunted her as she aged rapidly and collapsed. Meanwhile, all gates were closed. Himiko was going to revive using Ryoko’s life force. Sayoko ran to meet Mikuni. Kuniko called Sayoko to protect Mikuni – her younger sister while she went to save the situation. Momoko and others went to meet her. The three old men brought along a tool for their final battle. Kuniko was touched. All of them wished her luck and told her to return safely. In the system area, Kuniko entered the central body where a girl who looked like Kuniko faced her. She was planning to revive herself and destroy the world. Kuniko was shocked. Kuniko’s grandmother had faith in Kuniko. Meanwhile, Kuniko was fighting the lady who wanted to sacrifice human’s futures for new ones. Kuniko stated that they themselves would decide their own future as the lady multiplied herself and fought Kuniko. Kuniko drove the lady back to the system. The control was back online as others heaved a relief. Meanwhile, the form of Miko appeared before Mikuni. She told her that she could no longer be by her side for her body was destroyed. Behind her appeared all the children who had been sacrificed to balance Altas. Miko asked Sayoko to take care of Mikuni. Before she left, she hugged Mikuni. Mikuni cried. Sayoko had to slap her to wake her from her sense. Miko vanished and Sayoko thanked Miko silently.

Other place, Karin was grieving when her online friends cheered her up and appeared before her in persons. Karin showed them the MEDUSA chip stored in a small box. Chibi MEDUSA appeared from the chip and called Karin its mother. Karin was delighted. Meanwhile, people had been evacuated from the disasters and all of them finally enjoyed the new peaceful day. Kuniko, Momoko and the young major met Sayoko and Mikuni. Kuniko hugged Mikuni who wanted to call her big sister. Kuniko agreed. Kuniko told the young major that she needed a place to live and planned to create a home for everyone to live happily. It would be called Shangri-La.

COMMENT: Quite meaningful and unexpected. Unlike most animes that concentrate on battles of guys against guys while women are fodders, this anime concentrates on the fight of a girl to protect the people she treasures. Also, the main topic involves earth pollution and Internets. I would give 7/10 for plot.

07-Ghost #24:

Teito faced off Ayanami after he left the exam door and knew he was not an illusion. He vowed to defeat Ayanami with his own power. Outside, the nuns and others were rounded up while the army went in search for Teito. Castor and others planned to take action. Meanwhile, Ayanami sent Teito to the centre of the Earth with him. They fought. Frau was still waiting for Teito when Hykuuren told him of the invasion of the military. Just then, one of Ayanami’s followers – Kuroyuri appeared, wanting to seek Laborator for revenge. Frau faced off him. In the hall, some children wept in fear while the nuns tried to shield the rest. One of the church examiners faced off another Ayanami’s followers and engaged in battle. Same time, Ayanami wanted Teito to tell him location of the Paradox box and sank his finger into Teito’s chest. Castor and Laborator meanwhile tracked down a priest who had spied for the military under threat of his family members. Castor let him off and told him to start anew. But two Ayanami’s followers appeared and killed the priest. Laborator knew Teito was in danger. The two men fought Laborator and Castor. Other place, Kuroyuri sent dark attacks at Frau.

Same time, Ayanami’s arm was being severed for attempting to unseal Teito’s sealed memory done by Vetrag – one of the 7 ghosts. But his arm regrew back. Teito attacked Ayanami. In the hall, the army tried to force the commoners to reveal location of the vessel for the Eye. Outside, Castor and Laborator were still fighting the military people. Others were also fighting in other places. The dark flowers on Kuroyuri began to grow, transforming sadness to hatred. In the centre of earth, Ayanami taunted Teito for being weak. They fought. Ayanami wanted Teito to have more hatred. Animal Mikage was hit and Teito managed to save it in time. He apologised to it and resumed his battle against Ayanami, stating he fought to protect people he treasured. Other place, Frau told Kuroyuri not to let his hatred rule over him and he sent bright light at him, eliminating the dark flowers on him. Outside, Laborator and Castor continued their fight against their opponents. In the centre of earth, Ayanami intended to kill people in the church to force Teito to unleash the sealed memory within him.

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood #23:

Bradley and Gluttony pursued Ling and Ran Fan. Same time, Ed was consoling the weeping Winry before he left off. Before he left, he left his coat over her shoulder. Meanwhile, Riza set off to back up the others. Bradley commanded Gluttony to pursue Scar while he himself went after Ling who was carrying the injured Ran Fan. Ran Fan attempted to commit suicide so that Ling could escape alone. Ling was shocked. Same time, Al was fighting Scar on the rooftop. Ed went to Al’s aid and faced off Scar together until Gluttony made his appearance, attacking Scar. Suddenly, Ling appeared and ambushed Gluttony, bounding him with wires. Other place, Ran Fan had used her broken arm to lure Bradley away while she herself sought refuge in the sewer. Riza went to Ling and others’ aid and took Gluttony away on her car with Ling. Al and Ed were left alone with Scar until the other military came along. Ed and Al fought Scar. Chang Mei appeared and kicked Ed to save Scar. She told Ed off and called him short. She diverted other people’s attention away and saved Scar from the scene. Other place, Ling called Riza to go fetch and save Ran Fan. Bradley saw them from afar.

In a quiet place, Scar recalled Winry’s hateful face and wondered he had been like this once. Chang Mei healed him and found Xiao Mei missing. In a car, Al was having Xiao Mei with him after the confusion. He shielded Xiao Mei from the angry Ed. Al, Ed and Xiao Mei were led to military building where Winry was sitting with Bradley. They were shocked. Bradley left off with hidden threat. Winry asked Ed to tell her about her parents. Later in the car, she recalled her conversation with Ed and Al. In the hotel, Winry received a call from Giefield who asked for her return to help with the automail business. Everyone was missing her. She was touched. At the train station, Winry thanked Ed for stopping her to kill Scar or she would not be able to face others. He yelled that he would make her cry with tears of happiness the next time they met and she laughed. Winry thought of Ed as the train departed. She knew she was in love. Other place, Roy met a military doctor and asked him for a favour. He invited him in. Later, he performed an operation on Ran Fan with Ling and others to help. Ling was feeling guilty of Ran Fan’s sacrifice for him. Next day, Ran Fan asked for a replacement arm and Ed suggested automail arm. Ling and Roy introduced each other. Roy showed the doctor Gluttony who was bound like a ball. Ling told others that Bradley was also a Homunculus. They suspected Bradley used Selim as a cover to his real identity. While they argued over possession of the stone within Gluttony, Gluttony broke out of his bound. An eye opened on his stomach and the hut blew up. Riza was shocked.

Dragon Ball Kai #23:

Vegeta was concerned of the kids from Earth whom his dead opponent had mentioned and went to check. Meanwhile, Gohan and Kiririn took the local kid to hiding while Vegeta pursued them. He abandoned the search. Gohan and others went to look for Bulma. They found a capsule house within the cave and Bulma scolded them. She told them that Goku was on his way to join them. Gohan and Kiririn were delighted.

Meanwhile, Vegeta attacked the local village for the remaining dragon balls. In the house, the local kid told Gohan and others that his people only drank water. He introduced himself as Dende. Suddenly, Gohan and Kiririn sensed Vegeta killing people. They wanted to prevent Vegeta and Freeza from gathering all dragon balls. Kiririn regret for not killing Vegeta earlier. Dende begged Gohan and others to save his people. In the village, Vegeta had killed many people except the elderly. He sensed the dragon ball and killed the elderly. He entered a house and found it. Meanwhile, Kiririn told Dende about themselves. Dende offered to lead them to his senior elderly but based on Kiririn and Gohan’s words, there were probably no more locals left in that village. Dende led the way. Meanwhile, Vegeta hid a dragon ball in a lake. Other place, Freeza and others were unconcerned of Gohan and others’ status. They sought for remaining two dragon balls. Freeza guessed they were probably with Vegeta right now. He planned to kill Vegeta and seize the remaining dragon balls. In the sky, Kiririn and others were flying. All of them were searching for the last dragon ball.

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood #22:

Ed and Al fought Scar to lure out the Homunculi. King Bradley appeared and fought Ling and Ran Fan. He hurt Ran Fan badly and Ling shielded her. Within a confined room, King Bradley questioned Ling who told him off and told him that he would never be a true king. Bradley revealed his tattoo eye.

Elsewhere, Winry thought of her parents who left her when she was young. Back to present, she, Mrs Hughes and her daughter visited Hughes’ graveyard. Later, Winry walked in the street and overheard the Elric brothers’ fighting against Scar. She had a bad feeling and rushed to the place. Meanwhile, the brothers continued to fight Scar, waiting for Ling’s signal. Al questioned Scar of his hatred for state alchemist even though he also used alchemy. Al and Ed were aghast to learn that Scar was Nina’s murderer. Scar told them that Nina could never be treated as a normal human again as a chimera. Winry reached the battle zone and overheard Ed’s conversation with Scar. She knew Scar was her parents’ murderer. Ed was shocked to see Winry learning the truth. Winry demanded Scar to return her parents back and grabbed the nearby pistol. The brothers warned her not to shoot. Winry pointed the gun at Scar who felt her having every right to shoot him.

Flashback, it was wartime in Ishbal. Scar returned to his tent hurrying his elder brother to escape. The other people persuaded him to stop for his elder brother’s research might save Ishbal. Scar was not happy. Meanwhile, the state alchemists from Amestia attacked the people of Ishbal using alchemy. Scar fought and killed the soldiers. He rushed to meet his parents and elder brother. His elder brother handed Scar his research and told him to run away with it. Suddenly, Kimberly confronted them and attacked them. Scar’s elder brother shielded them with his body. When the smoke cleared, Scar’s elder brother found Scar struggling with missing arm and his parents died. He passed his tattooed arm to Scar. When Scar came to, he found himself in a tent where he was rescued. He saw two people of eye colours of the invaders from Amestia. Scar screamed. He attacked the Rockbell doctors and left. From the top of a cliff, Scar screamed.

Back to present, Scar threatened he would treat Winry as enemy if she shot him. Ed warned Scar not to hurt Winry. Ed shielded Winry with his body and this reminded Scar of his elder brother’s act when he shielded him years ago. Al held Scar off and called Ed to take Winry away. Ed begged Winry not to shoot and she wept over her parents’ death and Scar’s almost killing of Al and Ed. He told her that her hands were meant to save lives and not to kill. Winry cried in Ed’s arms.

One Piece #416:

Luffy was thrilled to learn that Hebi Hime was giving him a ride. Luffy’s tummy rumbled and she ordered a feast for Luffy. Later, Luffy ate a lot of food in the restaurant and attracted a lot of attention from others who discussed about him. Many mistook it as Hebi hime’s trap for Luffy and prepared weapons. Luffy suddenly stated the absence of songs and started to sing. The women laughed. Time passed and Luffy offered a lot of entertainment at the bouquet. Everyone enjoyed his accompany and wanted to touch him. Luffy ran away and Margaret hid him. He told her his worry when she had turned into stone. She thanked Luffy for saving her and others. Meanwhile, Hebi hime was in deep thought watching the night. She cried and suddenly collapsed. Margaret told Granny Nyon of other women chasing him. Nyon was reading newspaper. Luffy was shocked that Hebi Hime was the warlord of the sea. He was shocked that she was probably going to team up with the marine against Whitebeard pirates. Nyon told him of Ace’s public execution. Luffy’s face changed colour. Nyon told him that Blackbeard had defeated Luffy. Luffy told Nyon that Ace was his elder brother. The Marine was planning to use Ace to lure Whitebeard. Luffy was told it took more than a week to reach the place. Unless he took Navy ship that would take 4 days. Luffy showed Nyon Ace’s card of life. Ace had gave Luffy the paper when they last parted. Luffy decided to find his comrades later to save Ace. Nyon warned him of the extent of the battle. Luffy did not care. She told him to go to the Great Prison where Ace was locked in the most secured place. Luffy decided to ask Hebi Hime. Just then, a woman came to find Luffy and Nyon because Hebi Hime was down with unknown sickness. Meanwhile, Hebi Hime was panting with illness on bed. She asked if she was going to die soon.

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood #21:

Roy told Riza off for almost thinking of ending her life and losing her determination. Other place, Wrath reassured Envy that he’s letting Roy off was due to ‘Father’s instruction. In their room, Al was worried for condition of his real body and Ed wondered if their bodies shared the same link for nutrients. Later, they visited Roy and Jean in the hospital. Roy suspected the higher ups had already infiltrated into the incident and told Ed to be careful. When the Elric brothers left, Jean asked for withdrawal due to his legs condition. Later, another officer came and exchanged information with Roy. Roy was reading a book about bone spines for Jean who could no longer walk because of his spine damage. In his room, another officer was unhappy with Jean’s resignation. In the hall, Roy received information from Ed about Dr Maroh. Armstrong was given a new instruction. In the night street, Ed told Al of his noticing of alchemy mark in other place and told Al about ‘sacrifice’ mentioned by Envy to open the Gate. Just then, Ed was also given an instruction to protect something.

In the city, news of Scar killing three people had spread. Ed suspected Scar was Winry’s parents’ murderer. In their room, Ed told Al about it and did not wish to see Winry cry anymore. Just then, Ling and Ran Fan banged into their room again wanting to interfere in the capturing of Homunculus. Ed agreed. Ling wanted Ed to pay for his meals and he kicked them out of their room. Winry was lured by their noise and Ed asked her to remain in the city fearing for her safety using excuse to look after his automail. Other place, Roy’s man went to Dr Maroh’s house to find him already taken away. Roy was informed. Jean told Roy of his resignation because of his condition. Riza told Jean to cool down. Roy finally agreed to let Jean give up but he would be waiting for him. Jean cried. Outside his room, Roy asked Riza to bring him his uniform and she obeyed. On the street, Ed went all over the city, repairing things to lure Scar out. Later, Ed boosted his achievement to Al. Roy came along and called them to enter his car. In quiet place, he told others of Maroh’s kidnapping. Roy and Ed argued when Scar suddenly turned up. Ed and Scar fought while Al explained to Roy that Homunculus would eventually turn up as they would not let Ed die. Above, Ling and Ran were watching. In a dark room, Roy and Riza spread the location of Scar and Ed’s battle. Wrath aka King Bradley knew of the news and he called Gluttony. Ran Fan sensed presence of Homunculus. On building top, Ling and Ran Fan faced off Gluttony. Bradley confronted Ling and Ran Fan with his sword. He attacked Ran Fan and slashed her mask. She screamed. Ling yelled in shock.

Dragon Ball Kai #21:

Goku went to Bulma’s parents’ home for the spaceship. Bulma’s father was still working on it while her mother fussed over Goku’s growth. They reached the spaceship and Goku was impressed. Bulma’s father invited Goku to view the interior. Goku hurried him to finish the spaceship, as he wanted to rush to where Gohan and others were located. The spaceship took off when Bulma’s mother and Goku’s friend approached it from outside. Bulma’s father watched from outside and told them that Goku had hurried off. In space, Goku decided to train himself within the spaceship. On the other planet, Gohan and Kiririn were running across the land, exploring the cliff. They sensed strong ki. They saw Freeza and his men handling dragon balls. Kiririn and Gohan were shocked. Five local were captured and interrogated by Freeza’s men for whereout of their people and the rest of the dragon balls. Meanwhile, Vegeta was also eavesdropping the conversation. Same time, the local people and Freeza’s man got into fight and the former were soon defeated. Kiririn warned Gohan to control his ki so that they would not be detected. Kiririn and Gohan guessed Freeza was not in league with Vegeta. Meanwhile, Freeza threatened to kill the local kids. Gohan and Kiririn got aggravated and accidentally revealed their ki. More local fighters appeared, preparing to defend their own people. Freeza’s men checked and found the fighters’ ki below 1000. Kiririn suspected they had hid their ki. Meanwhile, the locals revealed their surprising ki against Freeza’s men. Freeza’s man checked and found their ki above 3000. The elderly local called his children to hide. One Freeza’s man attacked the elderly and his escort. Kiririn and Gohan were anxious for them.

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood #20:

Ed faced his father before Trisha’s grave and Ed retorted at him. His father stated the brothers were running away from their sins. He commented that Ed was just like him. Early in the morning, Ed’s father watched him in sleep, thinking of the old times and went to talk to Winry’s grandmother, asking her about the figure transmuted by the brothers last time. Ed overheard their conversation in shock, realizing they did not create their mother. In the Central, Ling and Winry discussed of Al’s condition, Ling was envious of Al’s immortality. Winry yelled Ling off for not understanding Al’s pain. Al went to talk to her. Winry had seen Al depressed over his artificial body that could not sleep or eat like normal human.

Same time, Ed was having nightmare of the Gate, demanding for the return of Al’s body back when his father began to make his departure, taking along a family photo. He advised Winry’s grandmother – Pinako to leave if the country was in chaos. Ed saw him off from the window. Later, Ed and Pinako went to dig Trisha’s grave. Ed refused to call off the act even though his chest hurt. As they dug for the corpse Ed and Al had transmuted years ago, Ed vomited but persisted continuing the digging to confirm his suspicion. He did not want to run away from truth as what his father claimed. He checked the corpse and knew the corpse was not his mother as the hair colour and bones were not right. He collapsed and laughed insanely, knowing no one could revive the dead. Pinako told Ed to get a grip of himself. Ed wanted to get Al’s body back. When the rain stopped, Ed contacted Izumi to ask her of her baby she wanted to revive last time to know if the body revived was hers. She hang up on him. Later at his mother’s grave, Ed walked with Pinako wondering his father’s whereout. She told him of Trisha’s will. Trisha had wanted Pinako to help her apologise to Ed’s father for not able to keep her promise.

Ed took a train back and was aghast to see Al’s condition as well as Ling and others eating at his place. Later, Al told Ed of the events earlier while he repaired Al’s armor. Ed told Winry that he would return Al back to his own body. He also told Al of the body they had transmuted last time, was not their mother. It was something different and hence, he was confident that he could get Al’s body back. He checked with Al’s memory and was sure Al was the real Al. Al remembered Barry’s case. They knew that they could drive Al’s soul to the Gate to pull his body back. Al’s soul had been inside the transmuted body during that time and hence, they did not damage anyone else’s soul. Just then, Izumi called them on the phone, confirming the child she transmuted was not her baby. She thanked Ed before she hung up. Later, Al told Ed that he had hated himself before, suspecting himself of killing their mother that time. Ed felt the same. Both of them felt themselves bearing the same sins. Al also thought of the various people he had come across, chimeras or humans and could not stand that fact of spending nights alone. Therefore, he wanted to get his own body back. Ed promised him. Winry followed them and noticed Ed had a large back.

D.Gray Man Issue #187: Party and Party

There was someone whining under the bridge as passing police officers stated homeless people would do anything to get food. When the person collapsed, the two police officers ran to his aid and were shocked to see several eyes on his forehead. Their heads bursted with blood and the person got on his feet. The man had five eyes. The person was a Noah and he commented that 35 years and the place was still surprisingly empty. He recalled that 35 years had passed since the 14th was killed with others having memory damage and that it was a big time lag since the 14th last reincarnation. The Earl welcomed him back to the family of Noah. Tykki was shocked that the new Noah could read minds. There were 13 Noahs who appeared and all of them had memories of the 2nd Apostle to the 13th Apostle. 7000 years ago, a particular guy had fought using the ‘heart’ and being defeated by the first apostle. The remaining 13 apostles became the ancestors of modern humanity. Therefore, all humans possessed ‘Noah’ genes. In one era, 12 people were awakened by their genes and Noah memories and became Noahs to protect the Earl and to fight those who used Innocence. Tykki wondered of identity consumed by memory and felt that since his receiving of chest scar from Allen. Road was the only one who had not reincarnated and was the only one to remember Joido’s face. Earl wanted to find the next Wrath’s body since Bollic’s death. They prepared to search, planning to put an end to the war. Road could sense the 14th’s voice when the Earl began to evolve planning to spread darkness.

46 hours later, Jordan, 2:53am. Akuma was attacking a person’s granddaughter and he cried for help. Someone appeared and saved her as she fell. It was Allen Walker. He was being commanded to return to HQ as they were in the process of fighting akuma. Allen eliminated the akuma around him before rejoining others. Meanwhile, akuma roamed the earth. Exorcists were forced to retreat. Allen, the old man and his grand daughter were seriously surrounded by the countless akuma. Just when Allen was at a loss of what to do, three newcomers appeared and eliminated the akuma instantly. Allen was impressed. Same time, he sensed sadness as the souls of the akuma were swallowed by the Third. His eye bled. The newcomers called for retreat upon completion of mission. One of them felt envious of Allen to be able to see the insights. Pissed, Allen attacked him with a ‘smile’ for his comment. As he continued to make his sarcastic comment, someone appeared from nowhere and sliced his arms easily. Allen was shocked to see Tykki again. Tykki greeted him. Two more Noahs appeared, they were hunting for exorcists. In China, Lavi and Bookman were also confronted by the Noahs. Other exorcists were confronted in Russia and Greece. Meanwhile, Link was aghast as he searched for Allen who could not response to him. He feared the worst.

Allen, the old man and the old man’s grand daughter woke in a cave where they were safe. Allen’s friend had put up talismans. Allen told other people not to touch the talisman. Allen’s allies were badly injured after Tykki’s attack and he complained of his inability to deal with the Noahs. Allen was impressed that he could close his wounds like Kanda. The Second could regenerate his limbs and was soon up and about before Allen’s eyes. Allen was shocked to see the Second planning to absorb the Third and tried to stop him. They explained that their kind could fuse with one another when anyone of them became useless known as womb transformation. Their alma cells multiplied by absorbing akuma. Allen realised this was the third exorcist project. They told Allen not to interfere.

Suddenly, Tykki and others appeared and slashed off the Third, First and Second. The little girl had removed the talisman out of fun, resulting to their downfall. At Jordan, Order’s camp, Kanda was being confronted by another Noah. He was shocked by the name ‘alma’ and the Noah planned to use Kanda’s brain for their party. In North America, Black Order’s branch, Johnny was vomiting. Other researchers were watching in concern. Suddenly, they were informed of intruder alert. It was a man who spoke like the Earl. There was a Road-like doll on his shoulder.

COMMENT: After months of waiting, I finally see a drastic and long chapter again. The manga will be changed to another manga magazine and the next chapter will be coming out in December. This is really taking so long. No wonder its anime ends half-way.

Fullmetal Alchemist Issue #98: Unlimited Greed

Wrath stated Greed!Ling should have run but the latter commented that he wanted his life now. Meanwhile, Wrath!Bradley’s followers were commenting on Bradley’s return while Ran Fan eavedropped them secretly. She was surprised that Bradley was at the main gate already. Greed!Ling questioned how Bradley escaped and the latter stated he could leap off with excellent eye accuracy. Ling asked of Falman whom he had visited before his turning into Greed. Falman was surprised. Ling stated he was preparing to pay back for the food and lodging he owed to Falman by defeating Bradley. With that, Ling and Bradley fought. Bradley removed his eye patch and fought at a superior level. The army prepared to help Ling. Ling yelled them not to get involved. Bradley dismembered the soldiers without a sweat. Olivia’s subordinate – Briggs was angry and shocked. He attacked Bradley but was stabbed in his gut. Falman and Ling yelled him to get off. Ling attacked Bradley. Meanwhile, Bradley’s soldiers were arming themselves to retake back the Central main gate. Ling told Falman to concentrate dealing with Bradley’s men while he dealt Bradley. Suddenly, there was smoke attack on Bradley’s men. Ran Fan’s grandfather appeared and assisted Ling. Ling told him about Bradley. He knew Bradley was the one who severed Ran Fan’s arm.

Other place, Mrs Bradley was told of status of Bradley and Selim, the former still alive and latter unknown whereout. Roy’s other subordinates were told that Bradley was fighting Briggs. Ross who was with them was also informed as well. She guessed Bradley was going to abandon his wife too. Jean who just arrived was surprised to see Ross still alive. He wept in joy. Meanwhile, Armstrong and the others were questioning Bradley’s men of Bradley’s plan. After hearing the plan to integrate all human souls into one, Elric brothers’ teacher smacked him with her slipper. Olivia joined in. When the soldiers doubted their belief, she told them to believe in themselves. Thinking of their own families, the soldiers made their decision not to follow Bradley’s order. Olivia checked with her men and knew that the Central soldiers had surrounded the city. She told them to withdraw without her if need be. He noted. Down in the tunnel, Edward, Roy, Riza and Scar were moving. Roy and Edward started bickering. Riza thanked Scar for persuading Roy to stop his uncontrollable rage. Scar stated he needed no gratitude. They reached a spotlight where an old man sat and told them he was not expecting audience. He stated it was time to get the show on the road.

Roy was aghast when Riza failed to response to his call over the mic. In the hotel, Ling told them the matter was regarding Lab 5 and Al left off, promising to return. Other place, Gluttony strangled Riza but her dog arrived and saved her in time. Together with another of her team member, they shot Gluttony but with no effect. Roy arrived in time and burnt him away. Riza was furious because Roy had put himself into danger of being suspect. Riza later thanked Roy as they walked through the staircase. Al arrived and asked Roy if the incident was related to Hughes’ death and he agreed. They went together. Barry arrived and Roy told him not to miss sight of his original body. Riza told Al and Roy of Gluttony’s ability not to die and Al told them he was Homunculus. Roy and Riza were shocked. Al told them Homunculus could regenerate themselves. Meanwhile, Gluttony got back to his feet. Roy, Riza, Al and Barry as well as others reached a lab. Barry stormed in and Roy and others took this as excuse to infiltrate the building. They were forced to spill up in the darker part of building and came across Lust. Havoc Jean was shocked to see his new girlfriend a Homunculus. Havoc told Roy that he did not tell her of anything related to work. She admitted she knew Hughes. Roy shot her but with no effect. She showed them her Philosopher’s Stone within her chest. Havoc and Roy were shocked. Roy tried to fight her but she was too fast. Roy broke down water into hydrogen and oxygen and attacked Lust. Meanwhile, Riza was on her move.

Later, the place was badly burnt with explosion of hydrogen. Suddenly, Lust appeared and stabbed Havoc. She stood up and regenerated herself. Roy shot her and pulled the Philosopher’s Stone from her chest, trying to heal Havoc with it. Lust disfigured attacked Roy. Outside the building, Bradley arrived and entered the building, knowing Roy and others were inside. In the dark, Lust prepared to kill Roy. Havoc lost consciousness. Riza and Al found Barry looking down at his decayed body. He told them that with absence of original soul, the body would also die. Suddenly, Lust appeared before them. She prepared to kill another candidate sacrifice. Barry attacked her but his soul was shattered instead. Lust told Riza that she had killed Roy. She was stunned. Riza shot her in anguish but with no effect. Riza wept and fell on her knees. Al shielded Riza and transmuted weapon without the circle. He used his body to take Lust’s blow and urged Riza to run. He vowed to protect her, as he did not want anyone to die before his eyes. Roy appeared and attacked Lust with his flames. He praised Al’s words. Roy had sealed his wounds with his fire earlier. He burnt Lust who screamed in agony. When flames died down, she disintegrated. Her Philosopher’s Stone vanished. Roy collapsed and thanked Al for protecting Riza. He told them that Havoc was still alive. From the dark, Bradley left. It was night when Al returned to the waiting Winry. Winry welcomed him back and yelled at Al’s damage. At the battlefield, the original Barry’s body messed up the seal mark on Barry’s armor, killing him forever. Other place, Armstrong and others saluted as Ed found his father standing before his mother’s tombstone. He was shocked.

Shangri-La #18:

Karin was shocked that Kuniko planned to burn Tokyo. She told them that due to their limited budget, she could rent the materials to them. Kuniko and Momoko were surprised. Karin wanted them to let her know the date and location for action as well a having Kuniko’s knife. She agreed. Karin noticed Momoko’s earring. She started asking Karin what she knew of the earring and Karin was forced to take them to meet Mikuni and Sayoko. Momoko and Sayoko were shocked. Karin introduced Kuniko to Mikuni. Momoko asked Mikuni of her earring. She had similar earring. Kuniko was surprised. Mikuni told her that the earring belonged to her mother. Momoko told Kuniko that the earring was actually Kuniko’s mother. This meant Kuniko and Mikuni were related. Mikuni told them of Miko whom Hiruko currently possessed. Kuniko and Momoko were shocked. Hiruko was still screaming but became quiet when she saw Momoko. She started to talk in Miko’s conscious. Later, Kuniko and Momoko returned to see explosion in Doumo. The poisonous fungi had spread and the young major with others were still searching for more.

In Atlas, Ryoko was told report about the weed. Meanwhile, Mikuni asked Sayoko of her possible elder sister – Kuniko. Sayoko refused to acknowledge Kuniko. In her room, Karin knew there was one more of the knives. In Doumo, the people were having meeting when Kuniko’s grandmother turned up. Kuniko asked her of the earring. She was aware of Kuniko’s intention to burn Tokyo. She wanted to get into Altas to meet someone in return of knowing Kuniko’s plan. She told Kuniko that the latter knew of her. Later, Kuniko talked to the young major. Next day, Momoko, Kuniko and Kuniko went to Altas to see Ryoko. The young major was also there but in hiding. In the office, Kuniko told Ryoko that they were going to burn Tokyo to the ground. Ryoko was not supportive to accept refuges. Young major activated plan B to force Ryoko to agree by activating a bomb inside building. Kuniko challenged Ryoko what she would do if she had internal threats like this if she refused. Ryoko finally agreed to their terms.

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood #18:

Armstrong and Ed went to the train station as they met up with Breda. In the Central, Al and Winry were chatting when Ling sneaked to join them. He told them not to worry about Ed. Same time; Ed, Breada and Armstrong were moving through the Great Dessert with Ran Fan’s grandfather. They rested at a ruined city where legends of Alchemy lay there. It was believed that the Philosopher’s Stone originated there. They explored the place and met Ross whom they thought was killed by Roy. Armstrong and Ed were overjoyed. Ed knew that Roy had believed Ross was innocent from the very beginning. Flashback, Roy had talked to Falman over the phone where Barry and Falman told him of Ross’s bullets were not from Hughes’ murder but from 5th Laboratory. With that, Roy assigned Breda to prepare ingredients for fake human corpse to fake Ross’s death so as to rescue her. Another flashback, Roy threw out the fake corpse from a bin and burnt it in front of Ross before pulling off her bracelet and threw her to hide in the bin where another Roy’s subordinate guided her to escape. Ran Fan’s grandfather was asked by Ling to take Ross to the East.

Back to present, Breda told them that they were planning to find the person who pulled the strings. Other place, Al and Winry were relieved to know the truth from Ling. Ling wanted to ask Al for something in return. In the desert, Breda and others were skirting pictures of all homunculi. Ed knew there was no turning back and he vowed to protect anyone who might turn into victim. Ross was planning to go to Xing and did not plan to let her parents know about it. She wanted Armstrong and others to help her thank Roy as well as call her in times of emergency. Ed and Ross shook hands farewells. On the horse, Ross asked Fuu how Xing was like. She was crying.

In the Central, Roy was chatting on the phone. His subordinates were preparing in darkness. In the house, Barry’s real body attacked armored Barry. The masked Havoc came to help Falman. Armored Barry, Falman and Havoc went after Barry’s real body. Riza shot Barry’s real body. She was chatting causally with Roy under disguised name. Barry told Falman and Havoc that the body of his was probably possessed by a soul of an animal. In the desert, Ed was examining the alchemy marks on the ruins when the Ishbal people surrounded him. They told him that they knew not all Amestians were bad as Winry’s parents had saved their lives before. He asked them how they died. They told them that a Ishbal patient killed them. Ed demanded to know who he was and her description fitted that of Scar’s. Before he left them, an elderly woman asked him to help them apologise at Winry’s parents’ grave. In the Central, Barry was not interested to return to his own real body as it was rotting. On a building top, Riza was confronted by Gluttony.

One Piece #411:

Hebi-hime returned to her territory where she and others were welcomed warmly. Her followers took note of all their victory items. Nyon asked for articles and was shocked at the news on the paper. Hebi-Hime entered her palace and saw a statue of her made by some kids. She destroyed it and told her people off for bringing in dirty things into her place. One of her followers told her of a dangerous monkey in forest. In the forest, Luffy was running away from the pursuing women. In the forest, Hebi-Hime’s follower told her that the people out hunting for the monkey would be back soon. Nyon entered the palace demanding to talk to Hebi-Hime to ask her of the Marine ship. She demanded to know why Hebi-Hime did not comply to Marine’s request as it would bring honor to the island as well as security from possible invasion from the Marine. Nyon showed Hebi-Hime her crystal ball and wrote ‘Get going’. Hebi-Hime was annoyed and threw her out of the window for Nyon was a traitor to the Kuja. Nyon collapsed on top of some chutes and managed to gain her balance on the ground.

Hebi-Hime went for her bath at the sound of the gongs. Everyone was to leave the palace for Hebi-Hime to bath in peace. Outside, a follower told a girl that Hebi-Hime had the curse of Medusa whom they eliminated. They had eyes on their backs that would turn people into stone. That was why people were to evacuate when she bathed. Other place, Luffy was still moving through the woods, running away from the pursuing women and snakes. They suspected Luffy returned to the village for a boat. Meanwhile, Luffy entered the palace, hoping to find a pirate ship. He tried to leap looking for the highest building. Meanwhile, Luffy fell into the castle via the roof into Hebi-Hime’s bath. The women were worried. In the bathroom, Luffy saw a naked Hebi-Hime who was shocked to see her back. Luffy commented that he had seen a back like this before.

Dragon Ball Kai #17:

Kaio was wondering how the progress of the battle was. On Earth, Karinin was about to stab Vegeta when he sensed Goku asking him to leave Vegeta alive. Karinin was reluctant as Vegeta might return to attack them again. Goku confessed Vegeta had beaten him good, as he did not wish to see a better fighter died in this way. Karinin decided to give in to Goku’s request. Goku promised to defeat him next time. Vegeta entered his spaceship and departed. Karinin watched reluctantly. He walked to Gohan and carried him to Goku. Goku apologised for the dead friends and wanted to bring them back to life again.

Just then, Roshi, Bulma and others arrived. Chi-Chi rushed to find Gohan, snatching him from Karinin. Karinin asked Chi-Chi to look at Goku who was hurt more seriously. Bulma and Roshi were checking Goku. Bulma was still upset over Piccolo’s death as it made the effects of dragon balls useless. Karme suggested taking the wounded back for treatment. They took off on the spaceship. On the plane, Chi-Chi was still hugging Gohan while Bulma was still crying. Karinin was thinking of reviving everyone and suggested taking all the corpses back. They went to the earlier battle spot and retrieved all corpses except one that had blew up. On the plane, Gohan woke and Chi-Chi hugged him crying. Karinin told Gohan that Vegeta had escaped. Gohan was happy to see Goku all right. Chi-Chi was not happy that Goku had brought Gohan into danger. Karinin told Goku about Namesajin when they saw Piccolo. They seemed to have ideas to find more powerful dragon balls on Piccolo’s planet. In that was true, they could find the other dragon balls to bring others to life. Roshi and others were delighted. Bulma was still despondent, as they did not know where Namek planet was. Goku was not worried as he sought Kaio’s guidance. Kaio checked his book on Nemak. Bulma prepared to make her calculation. Kaio told them that Namek was almost destroyed years ago but was in its pace to recover itself. Roshi told others that dragon balls could not grant wishes to revive powers stronger than its creators. That was why it could not do anything to Saiyajins. Bulma wondered how they could travel there considering the far distance. Karinin suggested the space ship of Saiyajin’s. They remembered the space ship left behind by Goku’s elder brother. Karinin also had a remote control to Saiyajin’s ship. Bulma and others were delighted and laughed.

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood #17:

Ross was being interrogated for Hughes’ murder by the officers whose proof was the bullets Ross had used before in laboratory 5 where she had escorted the Elric brothers. On the night of Hughes’ death, her family members who were witness were not allowed to be proved alibi. Danny talked to Armstrong who suspected the military was probably planning to silence Ross on the Lab 5 issue. In the hotel, Ed was still thinking of Hughes’ death while Winry cleaned Al’s armor. She told Ed how scared she was when the brothers were out fighting for she did not want them to disappear from her life just like her parents. Al praised Winry for being kind. In the room, Falman was playing chess with Barry the Chopper when he received some information on accusing of Ross. In the hotel, Al told Ed of the news. Ed was shocked to find Ross being accused of killing Hughes.

In the detention prison, Yao Ling was trying to talk through a warder when many warders tried to fight off Barry the Chopper. Yao Ling asked Barry to let him out. When he learnt that Ling was from Xing, he released him. Barry proceeded to release Ross from her cell. He showed her the newspaper that accused her of murdering Hughes. Ross was devastated and agreed to leave with Barry. Meanwhile, the military was activated to kill her. On the street, Roy was walking. Al and Ed met Ross, Ling and Barry on the street. Barry called Ross to run to the alley while he held back the Elric brothers. In the alley, Roy confronted Ross. There was huge fire in that alley and Ed arrived to find a burnt corpse before Roy. Ed was shocked and angry. He grabbed Roy’s collar and was being hit back. Al tried to hold back Ed from attacking Roy and demanded to know answers from Roy. Roy told them that it was order from the top. Ross’ hand bracelet lay on the ground next to the corpse. Roy denied his people’s involvement to aid Ross’s escape. Ed was still glaring at Roy. Later, Armstrong apologised for not telling the brothers of Hughes’ death. The doctor could not identify Ross in the extremely burnt corpse. Armstrong was anguished over Ross’s death. Roy told Armstrong to go to the East for a break. Other place, Envy told Lust of the latest development. In the office, Riza asked to apply leave and Roy approved. He smirked even though she slammed the door hard.

In the room, Falman and Barry found Ling summoning for Ran Fan and her grandfather with smoke. In the office, Roy was flirting with a woman over the phone for a date. In the hotel, Ed was confronted by the scary looking Armstrong who prepared to send him home while Al would stay in Central. Armstrong told him that it was an order. Roy was informed in office and he smirked, as there would be no more hindrances to his plan. In the dark room, Envy told Lust of Barry the Chopper. The original body of Barry the Chopper was locked in the cage.

Shangri-La #13:

Flashback, Momoko had wanted Kuniko to live like a normal girl and another flashback, she had told others that she was not a leader of Metal Age. Another flashback, Kuniko told her grandmother that she was unable to do anything with Momoko’s kidnapping as such; she decided to become leader of Metal Age to go against the government that had betrayed them. She told others that they would fight to get back their future.

It was night. Kuniko, Takehiko, Momoko and others were loading things to prepare the battle. Kuniko’s grandmother told Kuniko not to be afraid. Kuniko vowed to fight for everyone’s future. The plane flew through the air. The chairman had reached Atlas. In the forest, Kuniko and others were travelling on cars. A man stood waiting for them. It was K.D. and he was assigned to take them to view a giant boomerang (it was in fact a fighter plane). Kuniko thanked K.D. In Atlas, the workers were protesting against their guards. There were internal riots within Atlas. Meanwhile, Kuniko and others were travelling to Atlas through the air. Kuniko decided to take out the government. Ryoko and others were observing Kuniko and others’ progress on their security system. There was a battle in the air against the air force. Ryoko communicated with the chairman. Karin was also observing the air war in Atlas. Kuniko left the plane to attack the approaching missiles with her boomerang. Mikuni was watching the battle with Miko in Moon Palace with interest. Miko asked Mikuni how she would feel if she were to disappear from Mikuni who cried. Miko consoled her. Meanwhile, the battle went on. Kuniko wanted to fight the missiles again. K.D. told her his real name Koeno. Kuniko and Momoko stepped out to check the outside systems and landed on the enemy’s structure. Momoko activated the bomb on the enemy’s structure and leaped off with Kuniko. Meanwhile, K.D.’s plane was hit. All fighters from Doumo leaped to the building from the plane. K.D.’s plane exploded. Kuniko screamed and destroyed the enemy’s plane. Momoko grabbed Kuniko with her rope before she almost fell. In the sky, Kuniko was relieved to see K.D. escaped to safety via parachute.

Naruto Shippuuden #105: The Battle over the Barrier

Kabuto, Guren and Yukimaru were travelling through the woods. Guren was still not happy that Kabuto threatened to tell Yukimaru her deed in the murder of Yukimaru’s mother. Meanwhile, at the lake, Hinata, Sakura, Shizune and Ino were controlling the barrier while Lee and Tenten stood guard. Tobi was watching afar. Kakashi and Sai were still tracking Guren. Same time, Naruto and Shino were also searching. Naruto wanted to save Yukimaru from Guren.

Other place, Guren’s henchmen were struggling to a rocky place, injured. From afar, Kabuto and Guren were watching the barrier seal. Kabuto forced Yuukimaru to take the pills to control Sanbi. Guren stopped him and volunteered to stop the Konoha ninjas herself. Kabuto gave in and told Guren to follow Rinji’s plan as he took Yukimaru to a secure place. Later, Rinji appeared before Guren. Rinji told Guren the strengths of the Konoha protectors. Guren would attack the protectors while Rinji would break the seal. Shortly, Guren confronted Tenten and Lee in fight. In the water, Sanbi was still struggling against the seal. In the woods, Naruto and Shino received insect information. On the lake, Guren was fighting Lee and Tenten with her crystal dragons. Meanwhile, the seal broke and Ino and others had to reseal the lock again. Just then, Rinji appeared but Naruto appeared to fight off Rinji. Shino sent insects at Guren who ignored. Suddenly, the seal broke and Sanbi escaped. In the woods, Kakashi and Sai reached Yamato and Kiba who exchanged information with them. From the cliff, Yukimaru saw waves spread, as Sanbi broke loose from the barrier. Tobi was excited. Yukimaru sensed pain as he walked towards the lake. Naruto was angry as Rinji and Guren pulled back.

Suddenly, splashes of water swept Naruto and others into water with Guren and Rinji. From the shore, Yukimaru witnessed it. Later, Shizune, Ino, Sakura, Hinata were led to safety by Lee and Tenten. From above, Yukimaru saw Sanbi approached Guren. On the lake, Shino reached Naruto who saw Sanbi from afar. Sanbi picked Guren but Yukimaru tried to yell it away with his power. In his lair, Orochimaru was taunting Kabuto’s hard time. In the woods, Tobi was observing Sanbi. So were Naruto and Shino. Guren woke to see Sanbi staring at her. Rinji got to his feet to see Yukimaru emitting energy on his own.

Omake: Naruto was trying to figure out the blank script when Tenten, Lee, Sai and Ino stomped in, trying to catch screen time. Sakura came in and found everyone turning black and white. It was Sai’s work.

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood #16:

The Elric brothers and Winry reached the train station where Fuu and Ran Fan were still hunting for Yao Ling. On a rooftop, Ling sensed something strange about the city. Other place, Roy’s subordinates were hiding and watching Barry the Chopper. One of them was boosting his new girlfriend. Meanwhile, Ling had collapsed on the road calling for food when he was dragged off as illegal immigrant. Ran Fan and Fuu were still looking for Ling. Elric brothers and Winry parted. Sheska was asked of a key to a room that she refused to give as Roy was hiding inside, sleeping. Sheska woke him up. Focker asked Sheska what Roy was doing as Roy left. He asked her if she knew what he was checking and she told him that Roy was checking Fifth Laboratory and Hughes’ case. Focker walked away. The real Focker passed him and the fake one turned into another person. The person who had spoken to Sheska was Envy. In the gents’ room, Armstrong chatted with Roy. Armstrong told him of his meeting with Elric brothers who did not know Hughes’ death. Armstrong knew Roy learnt of the dangerous information and told him to be careful. Shortly, Ed was not pleased to meet Roy. He told Roy and Riza of his plan to visit Hughes. Roy lied to Ed and Al that Hughes had left the city with his family. He told Ed not to do anything stupid before he left with Riza. Riza felt uneasy for hiding the truth. Al suggested checking with Winry who went to Hughes’ place. They met another Ross who accidentally told them of Hughes’ death. Other place, Winry went to buy apples. Meanwhile, Ed questioned in shock and ran to look for Winry still thinking of Hughes’ case knowing he had dragged Hughes to death with his findings. Al caught up with him. Same time, Winry reached Hughes’ place and was told of Hughes’ death. Later, the Elric brothers reached Hughes’ place and found Winry in low spirit. Ed wanted to talk to Winry and Gracie about possible cause of Hughes’ death. Ed apologised for dragging and causing Hughes to death. Gracie did not blame him, as it was Hughes’ nature to die for helping people. She told Ed not to make Hughes’ death pointless. She told him to move forward. They left later and overheard Gracia sobbing in the house. Together, Ed, Al and Winry walked without a word. They went to their hotel rooms. Ed went to look for Winry and asked her to eat. She pulled his hand and told him about her learning of apple pie from Gracia and told him that she had wanted to let Hughes try her apple pie. With that, she wept.

In a dark place, Envy told Lust of Roy’s investigation. Lust was at the same time, dating Roy’s subordinate to dig information. Envy asked Lust to do something about Roy. In the Military, Ross was being accused of causing Hughes’ death and was being demanded to hand over her gun. She was sent to be locked up. Riza told Roy about it and he told her to keep the document confidential. Meanwhile, Roy’s other subordinate – Jean met Lust.

One Piece #410:

Luffy was pulling the bandages and told Margaret that he was looking for his comrades. She returned him his original clothes. Luffy vowed to surpass the opponents he fought on other island. Margaret told Luffy that no one except Hebihime could cross the sea because of sea monsters. She was shocked to see Luffy not knowing how to swim even though he was a pirate. She prepared to shoot him, as she would be in trouble if she were too friendly with him. Just then, the other women arrived and attacked Luffy. On the sea was another ship that was occupied by Marine army where the admiral killed a sea king, which had earlier attacked the ship. Momonga was the vice admiral that had sliced the sea king. He told the Kuja pirates of Ace’s execution broadcasted on the newspapers. Hebihime stepped out of her room and kicked away a kitten that obstructed her path. The military was captivated by her beauty.

Other place, Luffy was still running away from the attacking women. He swung through the trees. He was shot down from the mountain into the woods. On the ship, the army watched the eldest princess – Hebihime as she warned them. Momonga told her of Ace’s execution few days later and requested to lend them her strength to build up the defence. She rejected and warned them that she could turn them into stones. Everyone believed her because of her beauty. She turned the Marine soldiers into stone with her charm. She confronted Momonga. The Marine’s possession was seized. Momonga vowed for revenge before he left.
