One Piece Issue #563: One Heart, One Man

Everyone - both pirates and Marine people were shocked to see that the one who stabbed Whitebeard was his next commander. The pirate was upset because he felt betrayed that Ace was the son of Roger who had killed his comrades before and Whitebeard had been planning to groom Ace as the next pirate king. His words shook the morale and thinking of other pirates who felt everything was a trap to get themselves killed for Whitebeard's aim to save Ace. However, Whitebeard had no grudge against him and he hugged him and told others that everyone was his family and he would protect everyone at all cost. With that, the morale resumed and they prepared to fight for Whitebeard.

Bleach Issue #381: Words Just don't like you

Mayuri and Nemu sent Ichigo, 4th squad captain and her vice captain back to the human world. Mayuri was not happy with Ichigo's comparing him with Urahara and planned to give Ichigo real terror once the battle was over. While they were running, the 4th squad captain told Ichigo that despite Aizen's ridiculous strong ability, the only one who could stand against him was Ichigo. Meanwhile, Yammy was fighting Kenpachi who sliced his fingers. Same time, Byakuya asked Mayuri's intention to stay behind and he told him that he wanted to collect data from the corpses there. Just then, he received a message and was in shock.

Meanwhile, 4th squad captain told Ichigo that the reason of his strength was that he was the only one who could not see Aizen's shikai. As such, to him, every battle was as good as lost. Therefore, she advised him never to see Aizen's shikai. Other place, Mayuri was not happy when Byakuya stated Mayuri had sent Ichigo to human world because he believed that Ichigo was the only one who could end the war. He stated that Byakuya had the same thought as him. Same time, Ichigo thanked the 4th squad captain and decided that he would be the one to stop Aizen.

Naruto Issue #470: Killer Bee Vs Kisame

Naruto knew Sakura was not truthful to herself as he understood there was no way that she came all the way just to confess her love to him. Sakura retorted that she wanted Naruto to go back to Konoha with them as she did not want Naruto to put himself into danger for Sasuke especially so because Naruto was the Kyuubi Junchuriki that Akatsuki was after. She also told Naruto that she was no longer in love with Sasuke who was a criminal. Naruto told her that he had finally understood Sasuke's hatred and thirst for revenge and was about to voice Madara's words when Kakashi stopped him. Sakura at the same time also refused Kiba's suggestion to tell Naruto the truth and stomped off, telling Kiba, Sai and Lee to go with her. As she walked off, she silently apologised to Naruto in tears. Sai created a clone to go with Sakura, Kiba and Lee while his original stayed behind to spy on Naruto, Kakashi and Yamato. Same time, Sakura asked Kiba to help her to track Sasuke down.

Other place, the four kages and their escorts were on their moves. Tsukikage's escort suggested killing Kyuubi and Hanabi Junchuriki to stop Madara's plan but was rejected as Tsukikage thought of Gaara's words that reminded him how stubborn he used to be in the past.

Meanwhile, Ponta collapsed and Kisame faced off Killer Bee. Sab interfered with his axe while Killer bee threw pencil at Kisame that aided Killer Bee's attack. But his stab could not pierce through Kisame's sword. Sab was shocked. Killer Bee evolved with Hachibi cloak and attacked Kisame. But Kisame's sword absorbed Killer Bee's chakra diluting his attacks on him. Kisame commented that Killer Bee would be dead soon and his sword evolved before them with many spikes.

Naruto Issue #469: Sakura's Confession

Kisame faced off Killer Bee. Ponta the bear hound attacked Kisame who turned at it instead.

Out in the field, Ao fell into Fuu's trap when Fuu's possessed puppet trapped Ao's soul within it so that he could take Ao's Byakugan eye. Nearby, Torune who was carrying Fuu's physical body, was informed by Danzou that once Fuu returned, he would tell them his next move.

In the Summit, Mifune appointed Raikage the commander of the Kages. The other three agreed with smiles. They would inform the Daimiyos of all lands about their plan.

In the snow, Naruto was surprised and asked Sakura to repeat her words again. Sakura confessed her love for Naruto but her eyes were not looking at him. Kiba thought of the time back in Konoha when Sakura told others not to tell Naruto about their plan and to let her handle it herself first. Back to present, Sakura hugged Naruto. She brought out bad points of Sasuke as an outcast and good points of Naruto who was a village hero and had been by her side all the times and stated that there was no way that she could still like Sasuke. Naruto recalled the times of Sakura's expressions when she mentioned or looked at Sasuke and stated that she was lying. He told her that he desprised people who lied to themselves.

Bleach Issue #380: Devil, Devil, Devil, Devil

Ichigo was surprised to see Byakuya and Kenpachi before him. Kenpachi dashed at Ichigo to attack Yammy. They told him to return back to his town to protect it as his duty. Mayuri commented that Ichigo was a good test subject and ordered Nemu to send Ichigo back to the human world. Squad 4 captain agreed to follow Ichigo with her vice captain as well. With that, the sky opened, leading Ichigo back to his hometown to protect it from Aizen.

One Piece Issue #562: Pirate Vortex Spider Squardo

The battle went on in the execution ground. The clones of Kuma went on rampage against the pirates. Luffy tried to save Ace. Buggy interrupted the surveillance televisions. Whitebeard was stabbed in his stomach by one of the admirals.

Naruto Issue #468: Hachibi and Kyuubi

Madara declared the 4th Ninja war and vanished. The four remaining kages and Mifune of Iron Country began to discuss their strategies. Tsuchukage tried his best to get others to send Kyuubi and Hachibi Jinchuriki to frontline of battle. But Raikage and Gaara strongly disagreed for they knew the nature of Killer Bee and Naruto. Gaara insisted protecting the remaining Jinchuriki and others agreed. Choujirou told others that Kisame had the Chakra similar to Jinchuriki. Raikage sent his men to inform Killer Bee's students of his status and also to search for Killer Bee. He also told Gaara his meeting with Kakashi and Naruto. Gaara and others would look for Naruto and to inform Kakashi of Danzou's betrayal.

In other part of Iron Country, Naruto went into Sage mode on the roof top hoping to find Sasuke, despite Yamato asking him to get into the house. Just then, Kiba, Sai, Sakura and Lee arrived and called him. Kakashi was surprised.

Other place, Killer Bee was training under Sab-Chan sensei on rap when Kisame interrupted them, determined to catch Killer Bee. Killer Bee faced off him.

Bleach Issue #378: Eyes of the Victor

Rukia was in the gasp of Yammy who was totally in victory status. Ichigo arrived in time to save her. He slashed off Yammy's Cero and reassured Rukia that Orihime and Ishida were safe now. Rukia was confused as Ichigo moved on to fight Yammy and drove him away from Rukia, Renji and Chad so that he could fight him without fearing his friends would get hurt. When they were away from Rukia and others, Ichigo donned his Hollow mask to face off Yammy.

Naruto Shippuuden #131: Honored Sage Mode!

Jiraiya and Gamaken fought the multi-head dogs summoned by Pain. Throughout the battle, Jiraiya kept his palms together to summon Toad Pa and Toad Ma. After some difficulties using shadow clones and jutsu to distract Pain's summoned animals including giant bird and rhino, Jiraiya finally summoned Toad Pa and Ma and merged with them into Sage Mode.

Toad Ma located Pain's location. Toad Pa and Toad Ma could not believe Nagato was the child of Destiny. Jiraiya stated that Nagato had Rinnegan and because of the incorrect path of development, he had to destroy him. Pain summoned two more of his bodies before them.

Bleach Issue #377:

Kensai went to his female comrade's aid and she smiled happily that he was avenging for her. Kensai told her that he only wanted to kick Weiss's ass. Meanwhile, Aizen provoked Shinji and other Vizards of their pathetic state 100 years ago. Hiyori lost control and attacked him, ending up being slashed in her waist by Aizen. The Vizards knew that only Orihime's ability could save her as Hiyori fell towards the building, apologising to Shinji for not hinting his advice not to attack Aizen without a plan. Suddenly, Shinji noticed the approaching Ichigo who flew towards them.

Naruto Issue #467: Declaration of War

Kiba, Sakura, Lee and Sai moved forward out of Konoha in a 4-people team in search for Naruto. Sakura was quiet and appeared determined. Kiba and Lee were wondering what was on her mind as Ino had cried over the matter earlier. Lee believed Sakura had her own way of handling the matter. Kiba was determined not to let ROOT know of their acts as Sai had told them this was a top secret mission.

In the Country of Iron, the inn owner was scolding the apologetic Yamato over the damage to his building while Yamato promised he would make good the fault. Kakashi was watching Naruto who was sitting alone on the rooftop. Naruto thought of Madara's words that revenge was Sasuke's way of ninja and decided he had to confront Sasuke personally.

In the Kage Summit, Madara sent Sasuke and Karin into another dimension within his eye so that Karin could heal Sasuke. Madara began to tell the remaining 4 kages of the past of how Rikudou senin had sealed 10-tailed monster's Chakra within himself and sealed the monster's physical body in a moon. When Rikudou died, he broke down the 10-tailed chakra into 9 bijuu. According to a manuscript located near Konoha, he wanted to obtain the ultimate Sharingan by turning himself into 10 tail Jinchuriki so that he could control the world with his genjutsu. In order to do so, he needed all Bijuu including the missing Hachibi and Kyuubi. Raikage was surprised to learn that Killer bee was well and alive elsewhere and swore to treat him with his iron claw next time. When Garaa and Raikage refused Madara's threat to hand over the remaining Jinchuriki, he declared the commencement of 4th Ninja war.

One Piece Issue #560: The Prisoners of Impel Down

Hancock willingly handed over the keys to open Ace's chains to Luffy who hugged her happily. The Marine people mistook Luffy and Hancock having sumo wrestling and Hancock losing. Hancock blocked off the Marine admiral so that Luffy could rush to his brother. He was distracted by Iva's shock at Kumo's condition. Iva stated that Kumo would never work for the government. The Marine told him that Kumo had volunteered to be turned into a human weapon of the government. Iva knew Kumo had lost all humanity sense and had no choice but to fight him.

Naruto Issue #466: Battle Behind Closed Doors

Mizukage fought Sasuke with her lava technique. Choujiro was determined to protect Mizukage. Mizukage melted the walls and sealed Sasuke in a room alone with her so that she could use water, fire and earth elements against him. Karin sensed Sasuke's weakened chakra. Suddenly, Zetsu appeared and bound Mizukage, Chaojiro and others. Tsukikage and his escorts managed to dodge in time. Mizukage's chakra was drew by Zetsu who commented all 5 kages being fools and transferred her and other people's chakra to Sasuke. There was an explosion to the wall as Tsukikage sent a block crashing into Sasuke. Raikage, Gaara and others entered the room to see the mess. Suddenly, Madara appeared, with Sasuke over his shoulder and told the people in the room that he wanted to tell them of his goal - The Moon's Eye plan.

Bleach Issue #376: Executive, Extinction 2

Aizen slained the last Espada before the eyes of Hitsugaya and others. Weiss suddenly attacked Mashiro - a Vizard. She kicked him away and slammed him into the ground in time. Weiss suddenly broke her mask and punched into her face, sending her flying. Another Vizard appeared and saved her in time. He faced off Weiss.

One Piece Issue #559: Karma

The battle between the pirates and Marine army drew on. Ace decided he could accept any fate from then on as he watched on. Captain Buggy wanted to fight Whitebeard but decided to work alongside with him for time being against the Marine army after the latter calmed him down. All pirates agreed to work together. Luffy got into danger when an admiral punched into him and slammed him into the ground, trying to choke him. Hancock, aka Hebi Hime rescued Luffy in time. She growled at the admiral for hurting Luffy and was thrilled with joy when Luffy called her by her real name. Kuma appeared before Iva. The admiral told Iva that the original Kuma known as 'Bartholomew Kuma' was already dead. Iva was shocked.

Naruto Issue #465: Attack on the Summit

The demon of Sasuke’s Susanoo crashed the pillars, sending ceiling collapsing onto both friends and foes. Sasuke commanded Karin to lead him to Danzou and she did. She asked about Suigetsu and Jugoo but Sasuke did not care. She wondered what had happened to him. With that, Sasuke and Karin made their exit. Kankuro apologised to Garaa for his failure. Raikage broke through the ground and was not pleased. Garaa wondered what Naruto would do if he was in the position. Juugo and Suigetsu managed to make it through.

In the Summit, Ao detected the arrival of Sasuke and Karin from above. Mifune attacked Sasuke at the ceiling with his katana. Danzou took the chance to escape. Ao ran after him. Mizukage stopped Sasuke with her lava technique.

One Piece Issue #558: Brother

Luffy confirmed his knowing that Ace’s execution was brought forward to Whitebeard. Kizaru attacked Luffy. Iva helped by using his Death Wink at Kizaru. Luffy thanked him. Kuma attacked Iva. Luffy faced off a woman while Ace ordered Luffy to stay out of the affair but Luffy refused flatly because Ace was his brother, not wanting to care of pirate rules. Jimbei aided Luffy. The Marine was shocked to learn that Luffy was the son of the ‘Revolutionary Dragon’.

Dragon Ball Kai #24:

Goku was training in his spaceship. Just then, he heard Kaio’s voice. Kaio was hoping Goku would find the dragon balls and told him of his friends who visited him. They were Piccalo and others who wanted to talk to Goku over the speaker. Goku was glad to know Chaozu was well in the other world. Goku related the most recent battle with Vegeta who set off to Namek for dragon balls. There were also more powerful enemies on Namek. Kaio was hoping Freeza was not there as it would bad if it happened. Kaio went to check and located Freeza there. Kaio was shocked and told Goku that Freeza was a terrible opponent. Kaio ordered Goku and others to escape from Freeza for the sake of other planets. Goku was more tempted to check Kaio out. Piccolo told Goku to revive him and others as he wanted to know more of Freeza. Kaio warned Piccolo and others and wanted them to promise not to go near Freeza. Piccolo and others had no intention to do so. Kaio wanted Piccolo and others to tell him a joke first. On the spaceship, Goku continued to train himself.

On Namek, Karirin and the local kid were flying through the air. Same time, Vegeta sensed their ki and went to check out. Kiririn knew Vegeta was approaching and dragged the local kid to hide. Vegeta was distracted by Zarbon’s larger ki. Vegeta fought him. Kiririn and his friend - Dende watched the battle from afar and hurried off. Kiririn realised there was no night in Namek. Meanwhile, Zarbon began to transform with greater power and attacked Vegeta. Vegeta was sent crashing into the ground. Zarbon regained back to normal and set off to look for Freeza. When he was gone, Vegeta emerged from the pool, vowing to defeat Zarbon and Freeza some day.

Bleach Issue #375:

Flashback, Aizen commented Stark being strong after he eliminated mountains of Hollows. He asked Stark to join him as ally and he agreed. Back to present, Stark was defeated. As he fell, he apologised to Aizen for not able to repay him and he knew he was not alone. He recalled meeting Lilynette the first time and they had promised to stick together forever. Other place, Aizen told Gin to stop and to get the battle over with. With that, he stabbed the last Espada. He stated that he was done with her, as she was not strong enough to fight for him. He called Gin and Kaname to go with him.

Naruto Shippuuden #127 - #128: Tales of a Gutsy Ninja ~Jiraiya Ninja Scroll

Flashback during 2nd Hokage's reign. Jiraiya, Orochimaru and Tsunade were trained under Sabutou who subsequently became Sandaime. Jiraiya was unable to win the bells from his teacher, unlike Orochimaru and Tsunade whom he failed to woo. Sabutou demonstrated summoning technique to give him an aim to train his chakra. Jiraiya attempted summoning without signing any contract with any animal and ended up in the toad village. He defeated a snake before a toad and the toads told him about their elderly foreseeing his future. Jiraiya trained himself between Konoha and Toad village. One day, the elderly toad summoned for him and told him of his future. Jiraiya would one day become teacher of a ninja whose ability would determine world peace. Jiraiya would also one day travelled all over the world and to write a novel.

Meanwhile, ninja wars erupted all over the countries. Following the guidance of the elderly toad, Jiraiya went on a journey and met many ninjas, trying to find students who could accomplish world peace but failed. He returned to Konoha where he witnessed Tsunade's pain of losing her only younger brother. Shortly, he, Tsunade and Orochimaru were engaged in the war and fought Hanzou in Rain country. Hanzou gave them titles of Sannin for being able to survive his attacks. He declared Konoha ninjas won.

After that, Tsunade, Jiraiya and Orochimaru met Yahiko, Nagato and Konan who stalked them for food. Later, Yahiko pleaded them to teach them ninjatsu. Jiraiya stayed behind to train them after he realised Nagato had the eyes of the legendary ninja. During that time, he managed to write the novel. When he returned to Konoha, he and other Konoha ninjas were engaged in 3rd Ninja war. During that time, he received information of the deaths of Nagato, Konan and Yahiko and was despair. After the war ended, his student - Minato read his novel and asked to name his unborn son after the main character in the story - Naruto. His wife - Kushina agreed.

Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom #24:

Elen told Reiji that she would deal with Cal. Other place, Cal torn Mio's shirt to humilate her. Later, she contacted Elen asking her to meet her in a place to duel without the presence of Reiji. Next day, she did not turn up in school. Reiji was worried and he later received an sms from Elen who told him to leave by himself if she failed to turn up as she was going to save Mio. Later, Reiji went to Mio's house to pass some schoolwork to Mio's mother. In other place, Shiga apologised and proposed getting their organisation's people to rescue Mio to the head of Gotoh, aka Mio's father. Mio's father rejected as there was no evidence of Mio's life in risk, besides, he wanted no connection between Mio and Gotoh organsation.

In the dark room, Cal was thinking back of her suffering when Reiji failed to turn up to meet her after the explosion of the house. She told Mio not to hate her as there were countless people who already hated her. Other place, Syncthe was pleased as he watched his six female assassin masterpieces, deriving ideas from creation of Ein, Zwei and Drei. In the dark room, Cal left and Elen turned up to meet Mio, admitting her assassin identity as Ein, Reiji's assassin identity as Zwei and reassured her that Reiji's feeling to Mio was real. Mio wanted to do something to help Reiji as she loved him wholeheartedly but was rejected. Elen passed her new clothes for change.

Bleach #237:

In Seireitei, Ichigo and Renji told the Shinigami captains of the manipulation of the Zanpachitou by Masamura. Renji's Zanpachitou had regained back to normal and had completely forgotten what had happened during their earlier manipulation by Masamura. Ichigo also visited Rukia who still worried for Byakuya's disappearance. Other place, Masamura was determined to catch Ichigo alive and informed the other Zanpachitou who were excited of the new mission. Hinamori's Zanpachitou and Rangiku's Zanpachitou were quarrelling.

Later, Omegai and other shinigami were patrolling when they were attacked by Omegai's Zanpachitou and other Shinigami's Zanpachitou. The other shinigami and Ichigo went to their aid. The other shinigami's Zanpachitou escaped with Saifon's interference and Omegai's Zanpachitou was captured. Ichigo ran after the other Zanpachitou and was suddenly attacked by Byakkuya who had gone missing during the last attack.

Naruto Issue #464: The Power of Darkness

The battle between Raikage and Sasuke went on. Raikage's arm was burnt by Sasuke's black flame and Raikage was prepared to stomp on Sasuke when Garaa's sand shielded Sasuke from the impact. Garaa, Temari and Kankuro made their appearance and Temari activated her wind fan while Kankuro used his puppets to clear the flames from the samurais. Garaa told the samurai to stand back as this was battle among ninjas. While Raikage cut off his burnt arm, Garaa stated he wanted to talk to Sasuke. Shi cured Raikage's wound. Garaa stated the eyes that longed for power and filled with hatred was still the same within Sasuke. Garaa advised Sasuke not to sink into his little world of hatred any further and told him that it was not to late for him to turn back. Kankuro commented that if Sasuke was that convincible, Naruto would already have succeeded. He reminded Garaa that Sasuke was now a criminal and part of Akatsuki, unlike Garaa. Temari also added that Sasuke was an internationally wanted criminal without future. Garaa shedded a tear as Sasuke told them that he no longer could see any shed of light. With that, he and Sasuke fought.

Meanwhile, Karin detected location of Danzou. But Fuu - Danzou's escort also knew Karin's detection as he was also a sensor ninja. Fuu told Danzou who stated they would remain here and could use confusion to escape if Sasuke and others showed up. Aoi warned that he knew Karin's detecting and knew of their intention. He also warned them not to make a move for they would take care of the enemy if they got there. Tsukikage thought the summit might become interesting after all. Meanwhile, his escort ninja girl was watching the battle between Sasuke and Garaa. Temari, Kankuro and Raikage's escort went in to help Garaa. A dark monsterous chakra emerged behind Sasuke and he stated his ultimate defense was stronger than Garaa's. Juugo and Suigetsu had bad feeling of it while Karin commented that Sasuke's chakra was no longer that of the same old Sasuke and that his chakra was too cold. Sasuke stated that the chakra was the third power for those who could control double Mangakyo Sharingan - Susanoo.

Naruto Issue #463: Sasuke Vs Raikage

While Sasuke fought Raikage, Madara told Naruto that Naruto would not be able to change Sasuke's heart like what he did with Nagato. Naruto retorted that unlike Madara, Nagato sought for peace. Kakashi questioned Madara his purpose to collect Biijuu and he replied that it was to make himself complete. Madara stated he would turn Sasuke against Naruto to prove the strength of Uchiha clan before he vanished. Meanwhile, the battle between Sasuke and Raikage went on and Sasuke activated his MS.

Dragon Ball Kai #22:

Unable to bear watching the massacre of the people, Gohan intervened and rescued a boy from Freeza's man. Kiririn joined in and together, they fled. After losing sight of them, the man was confronted by Vegeta who intended to kill him when he was alone. The man disclosed the truth of Vegeta's planet destruction that was caused by Freeza who felt threatened by presence of Saiyaijin. Vegeta was spared due to his power that Freeza had wanted to make use. Angered by the truth, Vegeta killed the man.

Bleach #236:

Ichigo joined force with his Hollow and defeated his Zanpachitou. Meanwhile, Kira went to Hisagi's aid and saved him from being killed by his Zanpachitou. Same time, Renji used his least often used skills and defeated his Zanpachitou. The Zanpachitou admitted that Marumusa had attempted to control their minds causing them to attack their own wielders. Meanwhile, Muramusa escaped into a dark place where he suffered from some discomfort.

Bleach Issue #373: Wolves ain't howl alone

Stark attacked Love and Rose with his pack of wolves. Love and Rose had to activate their Hollow masks to confront the flame like attacks. Starks explained that the wolves were like him and his partner and could control pieces easily, hence causing Ceros like attacks. Love and Rose were at their wits' ends. Just when Stark was about to deliver his fatal blow, someone drove his blade through his chest.

One Piece Issue #556: Justice Will Prevail

Oars finally collapsed. Vice Admiral Lonz made his appearance. Whitebeard was upset over Oars’ defeat and the Vice Admiral took the opportunity of his grief to attack him. The pirates charged in revenge for Oars. Meanwhile, some Marine soldiers were running away from the battlefield in fear due to strength of the pirates. Some pirates taunted the Marine for the long-term label of branding pirates was evil while Marines were justice. He stated that only those who prevailed were justice. Just then, the icebreaker ship of Ice Witch – Whitey Bey turned up to join in the battle. Ace was confused over all the chaos as he thought of his past when he shielded child Luffy from Whitebeard’s hitting. Whitebeard was not happy that Ace had lived as what he wanted him to. Meanwhile, an Admiral warned the runaway Marine soldiers from escaping from battle, as he had wanted them to be fine soldiers. Just then, Luffy and others’ ship fell from the sky. Ace was shocked.

Naruto Issue #263: Sasuke’s Dogma

At the battle place, Raikage faced off Juugo. Suigetsu faced off Raikage’s other man who specialized lightning element. Raikage defeated Juugo to the wall and stated he was down. One of Raikage’s men knew Raikage’s speed and was confident that even Sharingan could keep up with him. Juugo’s body revolved and sent concentrated chakra balls at Raikage. Raikage’s men were shocked and one of them was shocked as a dark figure with Sharingan faced him. He was shocked as he was swallowed by Sasuke’s genjutsu. He collapsed. Sasuke watched on as the man’s comrade tried to hit the man so that he would stand up. Assuming Juugo had defeated Raikage, Karin was planning to reactivate her tracking ability to find Danzo when Raikage appeared and attacked Juugo.

Other place, Naruto yelled that Madara’s words were not true. Madara had told Naruto, Kakashi and Yamato that Itachi had died for Sasuke and for Konoha. Kakashi stated that if it was true, Sasuke should have followed Itachi’s wishes and to return to Konoha. Madara stated that Kakashi and Naruto did not understand Sasuke at all. He stated Sasuke was a true avenger. Naruto stated Madara had did that to Sasuke. But Madara denied for it was Sasuke’s choice. Madara stated he had took a gamble to determine Sasuke’s choice and Sasuke chose revenge. Madara also added that Sasuke’s goal was his vengeance against Konoha for what they did to the Uchiha clan and to Itachi. Naruto was shocked and upset over Sasuke’s change. Madara stated that it was a curse that had followed them for generation – the hated-filled destiny. Madara stated the curse hatred began long with the founding of the ninjas, the Rikudo sage – Sage of the Six Path. Kakashi stated Rikudo Sage was a myth and Rinnegan was a mutation. Madara explained that the Rikudo Sage preached the way of the ninja and tried to bring peace to the world but when it was still a dream, the time came. He had entrusted two boys with the power and will of the way of the ninja. The elder was born with the Sage’s ‘eyes’ and powerful chakra and spiritual energy and he believed might was the key to peace. The younger was born with the Sage’s ‘body’ and was gifted with life force and physical energy and that he believed love was the key to peace. On the deathbed of the Sage, he chose the younger brother as his successor. With that, the eternal curse of hatred was born from that decision. The elder brother could not accept the decision and attacked his brother in hatred. Time passed and the descendents of the brothers continued to war each other. The descendents of the elder were called Uchiha and the descendents of the younger were called Senju. Madara stated that his war against Shodaime - Senju Hashirama was fated. Madara added that even though this was the second time he had met Naruto, he could tell the fire of the Senju clan dwelled within him. Madara commented that he could see Shodaime in Naruto and even though Shodaime was dead, he still lived on. Madara added that Shodaime was his rival and he admired him as well as hated him more than anyone else. Madara stated Senju and Uchiha; Fire and Hatred; Naruto and Sasuke were fated.

At the battlefield, Sasuke fought Raikage. Same time, Madara stated Naruto and Sasuke were chosen by fate. Madara stated hatred was Sasuke’s greatest weapon and friend and that Sasuke would inflict that curse’s hatred on the world. While Sasuke fought Raikage, Madara told Naruto that revenge was Uchiha’s destiny and Sasuke’s dogma.

Bleach Issue #372: The Metal Cudgel Flinger

One Vizard went looking for Rose among the ruins telling him that Hacchi had won. He dragged Rose out of the ruins and told him off. They planned their attack on Stark who seem shaken by Barragan’s death. The Vizards attacked with his spiked giant weapon but Shank had saw it and attempted to block the attack. Stark dodged with lightning speed and sent him a blast. But the vizard had sent him crashing to the ground. Stark did not care much as he knew Aizen was not going to save them anyway. Starks’ partner was not happy and yelled him idoit. She stated Aizen had made him number 1 because he blieved in his strength to protect his friends. She yelled him to fight. While the Vizards discussed as they watched the smoke that enveloped Stark and his partner, Stark appeared and the Vizard – Love went after him. They exchanged blows. When the smoke cleared, Rose was shocked to see Stark above Love and warned him. Stark had reappeared with countless wolves by his sides and there was a half mask over his face.

Naruto Shippuuden #115: Zabuza’s Blade

Sasuke entered a dark room facing a glass container that trapped Suigetsu. He broke the glass and released him. Suigetsu thanked Sasuke. Sasuke wanted him to go with him to take Juugo and Karin. Suigetsu remarked that he did not like them. Sugetsu clarified their relationship and that killing Orochimaru did not mean Sasuke was stronger than Suigetsu. He remarked that he was only kidding and walked away. Sasuke walked in the woods and Suigetsu approached him in a pool of water. He wanted him to tell him where Zabuza’s sword was and he would follow him. Sasuke agreed.

They reached the Great Naruto Bridge which Suigetsu commented a weird name. Sasuke was thinking back the time when he faced Zabuza with Team 7 in their first rank B mission. Kakashi was barely a match to Zabuza. Back to present, Sasuke led Suigetsu to Zabuza and Haku’s grave. But the sword was no longer there. Sasuke guessed someone had probably taken it away. They walked the bridge. Along the way, someone hit against Suigetsu but was frightened by Sasuke’s glare. In the restaurant, the waitresses were stunned by Sasuke’s good look while he and Suigetsu rested. Suigetsu asked around for Zabuza’s blade. The girls commented to check with Tazuna. They went to find him but he had left with his grandson for a long time. His worker stated a man who aimed to catch Zabuza took the sword. Along the way, Suigetsu met the same man who hit him earlier and Suigetsu attacked him for answers on Tenzen who took Zabuza’s sword. He pointed a castle in the woods. That night, Sasuke confronted Tenzen in his bed with his sword, telling him to look for Suigetsu. Tenzen got up and found him missing.

Next day, the soldiers set off. Sasuke and Suigetsu had a game but they were not to kill a man as a rule. Sasuke got down and fought the thousands of men without killing anyone of them. He and Suigetsu entered the castle where arrows shot them. Sasuke destroyed them with his fire. He vanished, leaving Suigetsu to fight Tenzen’s men alone. He watched from a tree. The men fell like water drops. Suigetsu ran into the castle, defeating more men. He confronted Tenzen. A man rushed in with Zabuza’s sword and slashed Suigetsu into half. Suigetsu rejoined himself easily. The man slashed some more but with no use. Suigetsu asked who killed Zabuza and Tenzen accused Sasuke of being the culprit. Suigetsu laughed at Tenzen’s joke while Sasuke tossed him a drink. Suigetsu grabbed the sword easily. He threatened Tenzen. Sasuke told him to knock it off. Suigetsu cut the pillars and left with Sasuke. Tenzen was shocked for Sasuke was the one who killed the famous Orochimaru. As they left, the castle collapsed. Suigetsu knew Sasuke had planned everything from the beginning to test Suigetsu’s strength. Suigetsu agreed to work for Sasuke. They set off. Other place, a girl defeated a prisoner and she sensed someone else’s chakra.

Naruto Shippuuden #116: Guardian of the Iron Wall

Along the sea surface, Suigetsu asked Sasuke his reason to gather men and he told him that he had a goal. Suigetsu wondered why Sasuke chose Karin who was follower of Orochimaru. Suigetsu disliked Karin’s personality. Sasuke commented that she had special ability. They approached the Southern hideout. There, Karin detected their chakra. Suigetsu and Sasuke approached the hideout. There was no tight security. They reached the gate and Suigetsu slashed the door open. The prisoners were restless in the jail. They saw Sasuke and were thrilled to see him without Orochimaru proving Orochimaru’s death to be true. Meanwhile, Karin confronted Sasuke and Suigetsu. She clarified rumor of Orochimaru’s death. Karin stated Suigetsu’s chakra was disgusting. Sasuke told her to talk with them in a room and she agreed. In the room, Sasuke told her to go with them. He knew Karin had been killing prisoners to control rumors via hand of her spies. Sasuke admitted his killing of Orochimaru and told Suigetsu to release the prisoners so that Karin would follow them. Suigetsu left the room to follow Sasuke’s order. Sasuke threatened to ask someone else for help. Karin reconsidered. Meanwhile, Suigetsu confirmed Orochimaru’s death with the prisoners. He wanted the prisoners to spread Sasuke’s decision to free them all over the world. In the room, Karin agreed to Sasuke’s request. She removed her glasses and sat with Sasuke, trying to seduce him. Shortly, Suigetsu returned to find the door locked from inside. Karin refused to open the door and tried to get close with Sasuke.

Sasuke knew Karin’s ability to sense chakra since the time when they first cooperated to catch 118 prisoners who attempted escape. She found them instantly and pointed their location to Sasuke. Sasuke caught them instantly. He had told her to be his eyes. She did. The prisoners were recaptured within short time. Karin was surprised that Sasuke did not kill anyone of them. Sasuke was only interested in killing Itachi. She was amazed by Sasuke’s chakra and wanted to hug him but he snapped her from her thought to recapture the rest of the prisoners.

Back to present, Suigetsu broke through the door and told Sasuke that they were setting off. Karin insisted to go with them. Suigetsu smirked. They set off to find Juugo. Karin was shocked. They went on. Karin was thrilled to go with Sasuke but was not happy with Suigetsu’s company. In the Northern hideout, Juugo was counting and guessing who his next victim would be.

Omake: Radio host – Naruto interviewed Kakashi. Sakura gave him script of a reader’s comment about Kakashi’s bad points and stupid nicknames. Kakashi refused to go for the interview again.

Naruto Shippuuden #117: Juugo of the Northern Hideout

By the sea, Karin told Sasuke and Suigetsu the Northern Hideout was for human experiment. In the Northern Hideout, Juugo was still counting. In Konoha, Sakura looked for Naruto who was still having instant ramen for his breakfast at noontime. She told him that Tsunade wanted to see them. At the sea, Karin snapped at Suigetsu. In the Northern Hideout, Juugo recalled his meeting with Kimimaru who could control the curse mark easily. Kimimaru’s words calmed him down. Back to present, Juugo missed Kimimaru. At the sea, Suigetsu stated he could achieve his goal by following Sasuke. Karin told that Juugo was the original source of curse mark. In the hideout, a man with curse mark was killing the prisoner wards. In Konoha, Tsunade was displeased at Sakura and Naruto’s lateness. Naruto was delighted to see Jiraiya and they talked, ignoring Tsunade and Sakura. They almost walked away until Tsunade and Sakura punched them. Other place, Suigetsu was tired. Karin criticized him. Sasuke noticed that all watchers were missing. One of them appeared and collapsed. He called them for help as the prisoners went on rampage at the rumors of Orochimaru’s death. One prisoner with curse mark activated stormed down at them. Sasuke defeated him with a slash. Karin ran after him while Suigetsu approached the defeated man. Juugo activated his curse mark in his cell. Karin commented to Sasuke and Suigetsu that all prisoners were out of control as they gathered before them. When she confirmed Juugo not among them, Sasuke told Suigetsu not to kill as they both attacked the prisoners. Karin found the keys to the prison cell for Juugo.

In the building, Karin misled Suigetsu to the wrong direction and pulled Sasuke with her to the right one. Suigetsu was bemused to find them both missing. In his cell, Juugo decided to kill woman if she entered the cell. Outside, Karin unlocked the door but Sasuke wanted to go in first and told her to stand back. Juugo decided to kill the man and he attacked Sasuke. Meanwhile, Suigetsu turned back to the place where he passed before and saw a prisoner. He told him that if Juugo were released, they would die. Suigetsu stomped his stomach. Meanwhile, Juugo stomped Sasuke into the wall. Karin screamed. In Konoha, Naruto and Jiraiya had a hit on the heads. Jiraiya told them that Sasuke had killed Orochimaru but had no intention of returning to Konoha. Naruto and Sakura were surprised. In the Northern hideout, Juugo evolved further and hit into Sasuke harder. Sasuke evolved his curse seal and blocked Juugo’s attack. Juugo was impressed that Sasuke held the curse seal well. Sasuke stated he had no intention to fight Juugo. He wanted to talk to Juugo.

Omake: Naruto went to Ino’s lucky draw booth and after two tries to get two candies. He tried his third try with prize of Icha-Icha book instead of first prize of ramen cup noodles for a year. He threw them away, feeling disappointed. Kakashi who went for the lucky draw was disappointed to find his special prize of Icha Icha books taken away.

COMMENT: The Sasuke and Suigetsu fighting scene against the prisoners were stupid for the prisoners did not fight back at all. The communication between Naruto and Jiraiya was funny.

One Piece Issue #555: Oars and His Hat

Ace yelled Oars to stop his expansion size as it made him an easy target to the enemies but he ignored as he continued his offensive against the Marine army. Hebi-Hime joined in the battle against the Marine with her charming attacks. Meanwhile, Oars was severely injured in the attacks. Oars thought of his friendship with Ace. Oars wanted to take on a Shichibukai. He attacked but the Shichibukai laughed as he cut Oars’ leg. One Marine was not pleased, as he wanted Oars’ corpse. Ace was worried for Oars as Oars fell before his eyes.

Bleach Issue #371: Kingdom of Hollows

Barragan screamed at his opponents, swearing never to forgive them. He called them insects. Flashbacks, Barragan sat on his throne in Hueco Mundo, bored when Aizen, Gin and Kaname turned up, killing one of Barrangan’s men easily. Aizen asked Barragan if he was the king of Hueco Mundo. Barragan asked for Aizen’s identity. Barragan welcomed them for they could kill his boredom. Aizen showed Barragan his sword. Aizen asked Barragan if he was satisfied with what he had and lured him to aim something higher. He promised Barragan more power and a new world. Barragan laughed and called them insects. With that, he ordered his men to attack Aizen, Gin and Kaname. Aizen activated his bankai and destroyed them instantly. Barragan was shocked. Aizen stated this was Barragan’s world. Aizen taunted Barragan dressing in black, poising to fight and looking like a Shinigami. Barragan yelled him to shut up and vowed to kill Aizen. Back to present, Barragan shattered. Afar, Aizen watched with little interest. The vizard stated that he had noticed Barragan’s bones not rotting unlike other things and had long suspected he might have a power that kept his power away from himself and therefore he sent his own power inside his body. He was pleased to learn that his theory was right. In the end, Barragan too was just a life and also feared death, trying to keep age at bay. The other vizards asked the other Espadas why they couldn’t spare a word for Barragan’s death. Sharker commented they were not the type to avenge for each other.

Naruto Issue #461: Kumogakure Vs Taka

Sasuke went ahead to fight Raikage and his escorts. With information from Konoha, Raikage and his men knew Sasuke’s fighting element. Suigetsu was not pleased. Juugo and Suigetsu backed Sasuke up while Karin hid her chakra detection ability so as to hide her location in order to track Danzo later. Suigetsu’s Zabuza sword broke when he blocked Raikage’s blow. Same time, the samurais called for back up against Sasuke.

In the meeting conference area, Ao confirmed that Danzou did not activate his Sharingan at the moment. Danzo stated he would have executed the traitor Hyuugu member who had given Ao one of the Byakugan eye. Mizukage was cautious of Sharingan as it was the eye technique that had controlled Yondaime Mizukage last time. Mizukage had fought the previous Mizukage (also Sanbi Jinchuuriki) that time. Mifune stated his loss of faith in Danzo for using such technique. Fuu and Torune asked Danzo to relief one of them to retrieve the Sharingan but Ao did not allow them to leave. Danzo ordered Fuu and Torune not to fight. Gaara thought of Naruto and asked the other kages when they threw away everything to be above themselves by acting without taking into account of the ethics of the situation that akins to accept that they had given up. Mizukage found Gaara being honest while Tsuchikage stated Gaara arrogant.Temari asked Gaara how they were going to do about Sasuke who originally was from Konoha but was now in line with Akatsuki. The girl escort of Tschikage wanted to see how Sasuke fought, as he was the one who defeated Deidara. Tschikage allowed her but warned her not to interfere for it could cost her life. Akatsuchi stayed behind to take care of Tschikage.

Meanwhile, the battle between Team Taka and Raikage with his men continued. Juugo transformed into his curse seal level and let out his murderous impulse. Raikage warned them not to push their luck.

Kissdum #26: FINAL

Rin whined in pain as her mother began her task. In the illusion world, the inner battle went on. Same time, in real world, everyone was working together to fight the final battle at the sea. Missiles were fired into the sea. Within the sea, Rin had evolved into a monster. Throughout the city, people were fighting the evolved creatures. In the inner world, the Neodiver was struggling in his battle. Rin demanded to know the reason for being born and he told her that the joy to know the smile of the woman he loved. With that, he sent an attack using the mirror in his hand at her. In the real world, monsterous Rin was in pain while the people began their attack at her. The Neodriver- Aiba continued his fight.

In the real world, waves of attack occurred within the sea as the battle between monstrous Rin and the people went on. Aiba dived a missile at Rin. In the illusion world, Rin slipped into sub unconsciousness. In the real world, the monstrous Rin held Yuna, as she faced Aiba. She stated she would not die. She wanted to live on in return to get his Yuna back. In the illusion world and real world, Aiba heard Yuna’s voice. She told him that nothing could take away pain of humanity and that pain and happiness come hand in hand. Spirits of his dead companions called Aiba to awaken his power. Yuna asked Aiba to set her free for love. Aiba lifted his sword as Yuna confessed her love for Aiba Shu. Aiba slashed Rin who screamed in shock and disbelief. In real world, Nana Shu also stabbed Rin. Both Shu shouted for Yuna. Rin and her aura shattered. Yuna faded. Rin yelled to her mother that she did not want to die as she came for her. Nana Shu began to vanish with the loss of Yuna. Meanwhile, the remaining human survivors gathered as sunlight shone back on Earth.

Time passed. Reconstruction work was carried out. Noah and her friend saw a girl who resembled one of the elves – Bara. Noah ran off to play with her. Other place, researchers worked hard to improve human life. Yuna’s younger sister inherited her post as a researcher and she still thought of Shu who had been missing since and was probably grieving for loss of Yuna still.

COMMENT: So glad to find its final episode at last. I thought I’d never have the chance to watch it. A little bitter-sweet ending I must say.

Phantom – Requiem for the Phantom #20: Hometown

Two years later..

In a school, a girl confronted Reiji in their classroom. Reiji was a student there. She pulled him to the rooftop where a girl was waiting for him with a blush. The earlier girl ran off. The other girl was Fujireda Mio – Elen’s friend in the freshman year. She wanted to ask him whether he liked anyone at this time. Elen appeared and was surprised to see Mio talking to Reiji. She was looking for Mio so that they could go for snacks together. Reiji told Elen later that Mio was trying to confess her feeling to him and he did not tell her his feeling. Elen nagged him to tell Mio. Later, Reiji overheard the earlier girl ranting Mio for failing in her confession. Reiji turned up to talk to Mio alone. The other girl ran off eagerly. Later, Reiji told Elen that he had told Mio to start off as friend. Elen nagged and supported Reiji to go with Mio. Later, in other place, Mio and her friends were talking about the confession. Other place, Elen prepared Reiji for his first date.

Later, Reiji and Mio went several places visiting and having fun. Mio asked Reiji of his family. He told her that he and his younger sister- Elen lived alone for their parents died of accident long time ago. Sanae - the earlier girl had planned Reiji and Mio’s to-visit places for their dates before hand. Back to present, Mio told Reiji that she lived with her mother alone. Just then, a masked motorbike female driver paused and shot Mio’s bracelet off her bag before driving away. Reiji was waked from his dream after his time of being assassin at that moment. In the church. Elen was praying. Reiji went to her, thinking back of his and Elen time travelling for half a year back to Japan. Since then, Reiji had changed a lot, opening his heart more. Reiji told her that he received a silent warning. Elen knew and stated she needed a confession of her sins and that Inferno was here. She stated that she needed Mio’s feeling. She told him about Mio’s knowing of her father who was an important person and he was a leader from Godoh Group. His disappearance was to protect Mio and her mother. Mio was Godoh’s greatest weakness. Elen knew Scythe was in Japan, planning to use Mio to threaten Godoh if need be. Reiji was shocked. Later in their home, Reiji was looking at something while Elen watched him. He commented that their life was short. Elen stated they needed a plan for quick escape. She told him to cry if he wanted to. She commented that Reiji’s smile over the past 6 months were true and peaceful. She had wanted a dream like that. With that, she hugged Reiji as she did not want Reiji’s happiness to be a lie.

Next day, Sanae and her friend were not amused to learn that Reiji had left off the date suddenly when they walked with Mio. They saw Reiji and Sanae tried to hit him with her bag but he caught her wrist before it did. Reiji apologised and Mio thanked Reiji for the date. Reiji ran off in a hurry. Mio felt something different about Reiji. On the road, Reiji ran into the earlier motorist who showed him the hand watch he had given Cal months ago. In the church, Elen was praying. On the road, Reiji watched her in surprise as she removed her helmet. He wondered if the woman was Cal.

COMMENT: New OP and ED. I prefer the new ED and the previous OP. The new ED is pretty sad. Cal had changed her image apparently. It looks like a reverse of roles between Elen, Cal and Reiji. Cal became the assassin while Reiji and Elen led normal student life. Instead of the earlier intention of Reiji to sway Cal away from the assassin world, she went deeper into the bloody world and Elen had a taste of normal and peaceful world. As a result, the new Cal was filled with rage when she reappeared before Reiji.

Bleach Issue #370: Debating life from God’s Viewpoint

Sai Fon was panting and she fell after activating her bankai. Omeagi launched to catch her as she fell towards the ground. The Vizard – Hachigen was impressed with her power that actually cracked the gates of the four beasts. Omeagi managed to grab Sai Fon and told him off for putting her into danger. She had never done Jakuho Raikoben twice in one day. Sai Fon and others were surprised that the Arrancar was still alive although badly injured. The Arrancar – Barragan was angry as he sent waves of dying breath at them. The three of them dodged the attacks. Sai Fon was still shocked of his condition after she had hit him with her bankai. Barragan claimed himself the God of Hueco Mundo. Hachigen was hit and his arm rotted. Barragan commented that all of them were not different from insects. Barragan sensed something wrong with the arm of Hachigen. The lost arm of Hachigen glowed within Barragan’s body. Hachigen had cut off his arm purposely inside a barrier and transferred to Barragan’s stomach to create a void within it. Barragan yelled that he would not forgive Hachigen as he disintegrated and shattered away.

Naruto Issue #460: Sasuke under Siege

White Zetsu urged all at the Kage meeting to find Sasuke together. Raikage grabbed White Zetsu’s head in a flash, demanding Uchiha Sasuke’s whereout. Gaara, Temari, Kankuro and ninjas from Mist Villages were surprised of mention of Sasuke’s name. Danzou could not believe that Sasuke was there. Before White Zetsu could give him a hint, Raikage crushed Zetsu under his fist. Raikage ordered the starting of finding Sasuke while Mizukage stated they should not have kill anyone for they could have interrogate information of Akatsuki. Mifune also ordered his men to carry out the battles against Sasuke. Raikage told Ao to keep an eye on Danzou before he left, crushing through the wall. Outside, Karin sensed that samurais were on their move, likely to find them. Juugo knew White Zetsu must have betrayed them.

In a wooden house, Naruto was lying on the ground when Madara sat by the window, seeking for a talk with him. Shocked and angry, Naruto attacked him with rasengan. Madara dodged and commented that Naruto should know that a sudden rasengan would not work on him. Wood swirled around Madara and bound him, followed by more wood to imprison him. Kakashi appeared and threatened him with raiki. Yamato who was nearby to control the wood, told Naruto to stay still. Kakashi told Madara that he would not lay his hand on Naruto that easily now. Madara confessed his identity as Uchiha Madara. Yamato stated that while Madara’s body was not in ghost form in order to take Naruto, Yamato would still be able trap him. Madara was more concerned in asking Naruto how he had managed to convince Nagato to betray him. Madara added that he had taken an interest in Naruto now. Naruto did not care and demanded to know what he was planning to do with Sasuke. Madara chuckled and decided to tell Naruto of Sasuke – the man who violated to the core by the shinobi world’s hatred and betrayal. Naruto’s expression changed into shock.

Other place, Sasuke was killing samurais aimlessly and easily with his sword. Juugo told Karin to find Danzou via his Chakra and she saw the dark chakra within Sasuke that was even colder and darker than his level two cursed seal transformation. Meanwhile, the samurai who could control their own chakra were shocked to see Sasuke able to repel their sword techniques. Meanwhile, Raikage and his men were moving and detected Sasuke with his companions below them. Karin sensed their arrivals. Suigetsu was disbelief to see Sasuke killing when he told him earlier not to go killing people aimlessly. Just then, the wall broke and Raikage faced off Uchiha Sasuke.

Bleach Issue #396: Spit on your own God

The Arrrancar leader told the Vizard that his Kido could not escape from Aging as he dived forward. The Vizard sent layers and layers of barriers at him as the outer ones rot. He called Sai Fon asking for her to help him with her Bankai. Sai Fon silently cursed Urahara for revealing her bankai nature to him. Without her response and agreement to help, he continued to send layers of barriers at the Arrancar leader. The Arrancar leader taunted the Vizard for his useless attempt to seal him. The Vizard explained that the barrier was not meant to seal him but to keep him away from using his power to escape Sai Fon’s bankai. Meanwhile, Sai Fon was aiming her bankai at the foe. Soi Fon told the Vizard to seal Urahara with his barrier for a month and he agreed. With that, she activated her bankai.

One Piece Issue #553:

At the execution ground, the battle between the pirates and the Marine army was on going. Ice and cannons were exchanged between the two sides. Meanwhile, the Vice Admirals from Marine HQ arrived to join in the battle. Kizaru also arrived.

Naruto Issue #459: Sakura’s Decision

In the Kage Summit, Raikage protested, as he was not willing to trust Danzou to head the Alliance. Mifune explained that Raikage was too hot-tempered to lead, Gaara was too young to lead, Tsuchikage was too old to lead and Mizukage whose village was rumored to be place of origin for Akatsuki was not suitable as there could be spies within her territory. Konoha that still had Kyuubi was suitable to ensure that the Akatsuki would not get its hand on the last bijuu. Mizukage’s escort – Aoi felt suspicious and he used his acquired Byakugan to track Danzou’s Chakra. He told Choujirou to get himself prepared for battle.

In Konoha, Team Asuma/ Gai/ Kurenai had gathered. Ino was sobbing and Chaoji was trying to consort her. Kiba yelled Ino to stop crying and Tenten told him off for yelling Ino. Kiba was frustrated, as they had no other alternatives. Shino sought for confirmation, as he knew Sakura and Naruto would react more to their conclusion. Neji told others to let Shikamaru handle this, as he was the squad leader of that first duty last time for he was feeling the responsibility in that last failure. Shikamaru offered to talk to Naruto and Sakura on their decision-making.

Meanwhile, at Tsunade’s tent, Shizune told Sai that Naruto was doing that not only because of Sakura but he himself wanted to save Sasuke too. Sai agreed but stated that Sakura and he himself as well as others had relied on Naruto too much. Sai also commented that lately when he looked at Naruto, he was able to sense sadness. He also added that when Naruto thought of Sasuke, there was a heat coming from his gut and that was anger. Sai emphasized that for Naruto and Konoha’s sake, they had to do something themselves instead of always relying on Naruto. From outside the tent, Shikamaru overheard their conversation. He entered and agreed with Sai. Shikamaru stated they would stop Sasuke and in order to do that, he needed permission from Team 7 for he felt they had to kill Sasuke themselves instead of letting the Cloud Ninjas do it to prevent a circle of hatred. Moreover, according to the Kumo messagers, Sasuke was already an International criminal working with Akatsuki. Sakura pleaded Shikamaru not to say anymore.

In the snowy place of Country of Iron, Naruto was lying in his inn room, wondering if Sasuke still think of anyone in Team 7, wondering what was going on since Sasuke defeated Itachi, getting his revenge and wondered why Sasuke had not return to Konoha. He wondered if hatred had consumed him so much that he became nothing but a common criminal. He knew he could not understand Sasuke anymore.

Meanwhile, outside the Summit, Team Taka found white Zetsu missing. Meanwhile, Madara commenced his plan. In Konoha, Sakura dried her tears as Shikamaru asked her for Naruto’s whereout. Sai told him that Naruto had went to Land of Iron to find Raikage. Shikamaru was shocked as Naruto had gone that far for Sasuke. Sakura volunteered to talk to Naruto because she knew Naruto had went through all these because of his love for her.

At the meeting, Aoi was shocked as he saw Danzou’s Chakra to his eye the same as that of the late Uchiha Shisui whom he had fought before years ago. He disclosed Danzou’s Sharingan secret to manipulate Mifune’s mind and that meeting was about to end up in a fight when white Zetsu appeared in the middle of the meeting, revealing the presence of Sasuke in the region. All escorts leaped forward to protect their respective kages.

Naruto Issue #458: The Five Kages' Arguement

Gaara, despite the Tsuchikage's complaint, began the meeting by stating how dangerous Akatsuki was as he was a former Jinchuuriki and was almost killed in the process after he was abducted. Outside the tent, Kankuro was dissatisfied the way Tsuchikage stated Gaara as cheeky. Temari told him to shut up. Gaara went on and stated he had asked the other kages many times to aid but was ignored. He stated at the point with so many Jinchuuriki captured, it was too late for aid now. The Tsuchikage stated that a country with its Jinchuuriki captured had no business to give other countries orders and said that Gaara should have tried to recover it in secret instead of expecting other countries to help him. Gaara shot back stating he had no time for old fashion thinking of keeping appearance and Tsuchikage cursed him brat in thought. Mizukage commented that Jinchuuriki grow with bijuu and it took time and knowledge as well as skills to control them. The known people who could control include the former Sanbi Jinchuuriki aka Yondaime Mizukage, Kirabi, First Hokage, Uchiha Madara. Raikage blast the table and the escorts of different kages tried to stop his further blasting. Mifune reminded them that they were here to talk and not displaying rudeness. The kages called their escorts to return back to their places.

Raikage reminded all Kages that all missing-nins were from many different villages and that some kages had worked with Akatsuki before for their selfish motives, including Gaara's late father who worked with Orochimaru - the former Akatsuki member to invade Konoha. Gaara was shocked and displeased. Raikage was still wondering if the death of Sandaime Hokage and Gaara's father due to working with Orochimaru was contributed by someone's plan and he was looking at Danzo. Raikage also expressed his suspicion of Mizukage as Akatsuki was known to form from Village of Mist. Mizukage was looking uneasy as she told them that there were suspicion that Yondaime Mizukage was controlled by someone and she did not want to make a big deal out of it. Danzo told the meeting that the Akatsuki's leader was Uchiha Madara. The others were shocked as he was known to be dead. Mifune suggested forming a five-village alliance until the Akatsuki is taken care of. Tsuchikage wondered who would have the authority over this new army. Danzo was pleased that the era of Tsunade's time was over.

In Konoha, Sai told Sakura of Naruto's sacrifice to protect Sasuke by letting himself being beaten up by Karui and going after Raikage asking for forgiveness to Sasuke. Sai stated Kakashi followed Naruto's idea as he wanted to give him a chance regardless of its uselessness. He wondered what kind of promise Naruto had given Sakura and she recalled her plead with him to bring Sasuke back. He stated he could tell that Naruto loved Sakura. As she thought of little Naruto's words, her tears began to flow. Sai said Sasuke caused Naruto pain.

At the Kage meeting, Mifune stated the only known Jinchuuriki left was Konoha's Kyuubi and proposed Hokage Danzo to take the lead in the Alliance. Tsuchikage and Raikage retorted their dissatisfaction.

One Piece Issue #552: Ace and Whitebeard

On the ship, Luffy told Ivan that Ace's dad was Gold Roger and that they had different fathers. As the battle in Marine execution area commenced, Luffy recalled the time when Ace headed out to the sea before he did. Ace thought back of his time at sea of his achievement and Whitebeard's taking him as his son in order to roam the sea. Despite Ace's plead for them to leave him be as his dashness landed him into trouble, Whitebeard vowed not to let anyone hurt him.

The battle had began.

One Piece Issue #551: Yonkou Whitebeard

Many people all over the world were shocked to learn that Ace was Gold Roger’s son for the blood of the pirate king had still lived on. Others were surprised that Ace was not Luffy’s brother by blood after all. Some others were confused. Garp recalled Gold Roger telling him back years ago of his fear that by the time his kid arrived to the world, he would already be gone and asked him to protect his child for an unborn child borne no sins. Gold Roger had trusted Garp even though the latter was from Marine that would possibly hunted down and executed any woman connected to Gold Roger so as to discontinue Gold Roger’s bloodline. After Ace was born, he was sent to an island where he and Luffy were taken care by Dadan. Ace had taken his name from his mother whom he felt he owed her. Ace had always thought his father was Whitebeard. Whitebeard subsequently had taken Ace onto the same ship, hoping to raise him to be the next pirate king. As a result, the Marine had been unable to lay a finger on Ace that time because Whitebeard was protecting him. The Marine did not care if they were to enter war with Whitebeard himself by executing Ace.

Suddenly, one Marine soldier reported that the Gates of Justice opened without any authorization and had been unable to obtain contact with the control room. Meanwhile, Luffy and others were surprised to see the Gates of Justice opened to them. At the execution banks, the Marine was shocked to see famous pirate ships entering into view. These pirates were related to Whitebeard who was still nowhere to be seen. Just then, there was a whirl motion in the sea. They knew Whitebeard was preparing to rise on a ship that was coated. The ship rose, with White beard piloting the ship, making the total prepared pirate captains to be 14. Ace yelled as Whitebeard prepared to rescue Ace whom he viewed as son.

Bleach Issue #367:

Shinji was about to attack Aizen when Aizen’s follower intercepted, causing him to leap aside. Komamura went to Shinji’s aid, planning to fight alongside with the Vizards. Sai Fon and Hitsugaya agreed with Komamura’s decision. Rose and Hiruko blocked an Espada’s attack that was originally aimed at Hitsugaya. Hitsugaya’s remaining doubt was cleared. Hiruko told them that the shinigami’s enemy was also their enemy. Love and others meanwhile were also fighting the Hollows before confronting Shank. Another Vizard attacked Wonderweiss. Hisagi asked Komamura to allow him fight Aizen’s follower (who used to be Hisagi’s comrade when he was a Shinigami in Soul Society).

Naruto Issue #457:

At the boundary of Country of Iron, Sasuke commanded Karin to keep an eye on the guards’ chakra. He told Zetsu to point out who Danzo was. Other place, Danzo received information from Sai’s painted bird that turned into words on a scroll. He stated it was just an update and told others to go. Karin suggested killing Danzo after he left the Country of Iron so that they would not alert the other kages but Sasuke told her to concentrate on her task. Sasuke warned Zetsu not to lie on who Danzo was. Karin also warned that she could sense whether a person was lying based on his chakra and Zetsu reassured that he would not lie, as Danzo was no friend of his.

Meanwhile, Raikage and his underlying were moving through the snow when they met Samui’s squad. One of Raikage’s escort told Samui that they were already being followed and called the Konoha ninjas to show themselves. Naruto, Kakashi and Yamato appeared. Karui was shocked to see Naruto again. Raikage and his escorts also recognised Kakashi and asked him if the Hokage had sent him to see them. Kakashi replied that they had a favour to ask him as Naruto wanted to talk to him. Naruto asked Raikage to stop Sasuke’s execution. Naruto stated Sasuke was his friend and he could not stand back and watch if other people killed him. He also did not want Sasuke to be the cause of a war between Konoha and Kumo for they could be caught up in revenge.

When Raikage refused to listen any further, Naruto went on his knees and begged Raikage for he did not want anyone else to get killed for revenge. He stated that all Sasuke had always thought was revenge and it consumed and changed him. He continued to say that Sasuke who was driven mad by revenge was no longer the same guy he knew anymore and Naruto did not want that to happen to anyone else. He did not want people from Konoha and Kumo to be killing each other. Naruto’s tears began to fall.

In Konoha, Sai was thinking back of how Naruto smiled when he bided Sakura farewell the other time. Sai had asked Naruto if he liked Sakura. Naruto exclaimed in shock and Sai replied that he had read in a book that people smiled when they were around with people they liked. Sai had observed that Naruto was always smiling at Sakura and he asked Naruto if he had told her how he felt for her. Naruto stated he could not do it because he could not even keep his promises for her. Sai thought again back the time when Naruto was punched by Karui. Naruto had told Sai to stay out of this. Back to present, Sai got back to his feet and decided he could not just sit around doing nothing.

Back at the boundry of Country of Iron, Naruto was still kneeling before Raikage. Raikage insisted that he would kill Sasuke and stated it was up to Naruto to make sure it stopped there. Yamato brought out the past Hyuuga issue that had almost provoked a war but Konoha had swallowed their bloody tears to prevent that as Neji’s father had sacrificed himself to stop it. Kakashi also continued by saying that eventhough Naruto may not be skilled at this but he was begging Raikage for the sake of both Konoha and Kumo. Kakashi asked for Raikage’s opinion. Raikage retorted that a ninja should not be so quick to bow before another and that ninjas respect actions and strength. Raikage also said that there should be no compromise between ninjas. Raikage continued that the history of the human race was the history of war even since the three Great Ninja wars. Raikage also believed that every country and village had fought for the strongest techniques and that the weak would be crushed as that was the inescapable truth of the ninja world. Raikage went on saying that the Akatsuki was an internationally wanted criminals and that the whole world would be after Sasuke, not just Raikage himself. Raikage stated that Naruto was begging for mercy for a criminal, for safety of his friends, but in the ninja world, they did not call that friendship. Raikage told Naruto that he would not get far in the ninja world if he kept acting stupidly. As Raikage and others departed, Kakashi told Naruto to get up.

In Konoha, Sai went to Tsunade’s tent where Sakura and Shizune were sitting. Sai wanted to talk to Sakura. In the Country of Iron, the five Kages had gathered.

From above, Zetsu pointed out the old man in the middle was Danzo. Sasuke’s Sharingan was activated as he looked at him. Within the shelter temple, the five kages gathered as arranged by Raikage. Mifune commenced the opening of the meeting and introduced himself as their amoderator.

Bleach Issue #366: The Revenger’s High

The masked Vizards slashed the Hollows within a flash as they moved forward. All of them destroyed the Hollows in different ways. Hitsugaya and Omeada were shocked of their strength. Aizen watched quietly as Shinji sent him a deadly strike with his sword.

One Piece Issue #550: Marine Headquarters

It was a stormy day as the people wondered if Whitebeard would show up as there was three hours more to go. In East Blue, the other group of people were wondering the same. Many people prayed he would not appear as there would be many deaths if he did so. In North Blue, people were not in mood to do business. In West Blue, people were discussing Whitebeard. In Grand Line, people were saying that even children knew Whitebeard’s name, as he was scarier than demons. On the Marinford where the Marine Headquarter resided, all residents who were families of soldiers were recommended to evacuate. Everywhere, people stood and watched as the day of public execution drew closer. So were reporters and cameramen who waited for Ace’s appearance.

The tension was on the rise as Ace was taken to the public execution ground. The security was tight and three Marine Admirals sat to witness the execution. At the Tarai current, Luffy and others were making their way towards the execution location. Luffy was yelling that the Gate of Justice was coming in sight and praised Jimbei for the speed of the ship. Buggy was mobilizing the other pirates in the background. Sengoku – one of the three admirals went over to talk to his men about Ace before Ace was going to be executed. He asked Ace to tell him the name of his father. Ace told him that his father was Whitebeard. Sengoku told the public that he and his men had attempted to find Whitebeard’s child all over the place but Ace’s mother had performed a trick to miscalculate Ace’s period of birth by giving birth to him 20 months later instead of 10 months. She died as a result of it. Ace’s mother was Portgas D Rouge. Sengoku announced that Ace’s real father was in fact Pirate king – Gold Roger. Gold Roger who stated his child borne no sins had requested his men to protect Ace.

Naruto Issue #456: Naruto Departs

The masked assassins attacked Danzou. Danzou performed some hand seals and something shot out of his mouth. Blood spilt from the opponents’ bodies as they collapsed from the air. Danzou stabbed his sword into one of the assassin’s neck and dragged him by his neck after stabbing him in his chest. He counted 17 assassins.

Meanwhile in Konoha, the still bandaged Naruto donned his cloak, ready to leave. Kakashi told Sai not to tell Danzou Naruto’s disappearance and to tell Danzou that Naruto had not make a move. Sai stated Kakashi still did not trust him and Kakashi explained that Sai was supposed to spy on Naruto for Danzou. He told Sai that Sai was also a member of team 7 and that he had faith in Sai. Sai recalled Naruto’s happy expression when he said Yondaime had faith with him and wondered what this feeling was. Kakashi bided the smiling Sai farewell and left.

At the blood scene where Danzou had killed the assassin, one of the assassins had a lot of swords stabbed on his body. Fuu stated these were the remains of Hanya assassins from the land of woods that they had previously attacked. Danzou stated that these people were always looking for an opportunity like this and was glad that his name was not well known. He stated controlling both public world and shadows would strengthen the village and country. He stated he would make sure the conference went well and that his Hokage status be accepted by the other Kages so that the Jonins would have no choice but to accept him as well. He was glad the time had finally come. Other place, Team taka was on the move among the trees. Karin told others that there was something up ahead.

In Konoha, Naruto faced off Konohamaru. The ROOT ninjas were spying on them curiously. Konohamaru yelled ‘Oiroke no Jutsu’ (Sexy technique). As the ninjas’ attentions were diverted away, Kakashi used his Sharingan and put genjutsu on them. He knew ROOT did not trust Sai anymore. He heard Konohamaru complaining that Naruto’s jutsu was more sexier than his and complained that he was getting much behind Naruto when they were supposed to be rivals. Naruto praised Konohamaru that he had defeated one Pain’s body with rasengan and that Konohamaru was a hero too. Konohamaru blushed. As Naruto left, he told Konohamaru that he was a fast learner and that Naruto would show him how to make bigger rasengan next time. Kakashi smiled at them. In Konoha library, Omoi complained his aching hands as they copied information until Karui commanded him to shut up and copy the notes with his hands. Konoha ninjas told them to be quiet in library. As they left, Samui told them to remain cool as ninjas. She told them to hurry up to meet Raikage.

Karui’s foot was seen stepping on something small as they left. The small things were sandwiched in her sandals. Yamato emerged as he thought apologetically of planting tracers on them for they needed to know where Raikage was. He made his way back to Naruto and Kakashi. As Omoi and others moved through the trees, Omoi wondered aloud if Naruto was okay. Pissed, Karui yelled him to shut up and Omoi knew she was worried about it too. Karui hit him.

Yamato told Naruto and Kakashi as they prepared to get moving.

In an inn, Mizukage checked Chojuro’s forehead when he complained of fever. Ao complained she was too easy on Chojuro and started comparing earlier generations’ ability. Mizukage stated they were no longer in the Yondaime Mizukage’s time when their village was known as Blood Mist village and told him to stop talking about old days. As they talked about food, Ao asked Chojiro of his arrangement for menu and this reminded Mizukage of engagements. She told Ao to shut up or she would kill him.

Other place in the shelter of a cave, Tsukikage and his followers were discussing about the Land of Irons where the conference was to be held. Tsukikage told them that the land was formed from three mountains known as three wolves and was a neutral country with its own culture, authority and strong military. He stated there was no ninja on the land and ninjas did not lay a finger to it. Instead of ninjas, there were samurais protecting the place.

At the Land of Iron, Sasuke asked Suigetsu who emerged from his water form what he had seen. Suigetsu told him that the guard hold was strengthened because of the meeting of five Kages. Sasuke told Juugo to find the least guarded route to the meeting hall and Juugo agreed. Meanwhile, Gaara, Temari and Kankuro reached the tower of the Land of Iron where the leader of the land welcomed them. The leader’s name was Mifune. On the route, Naruto sneezed in the snow as he stated the weather was getting cold out of the sudden. Yamato hushed him as they had to remain undetected.

Naruto Issue #455: Bond

Danzou ordered Terai to go after Kabuto while Fu and Torune were commanded to stay behind. He told them to remove their masks, as masks were not allowed for Kage conference. Torune was ordered to set his men to watch over Naruto and to take necessary action if Sai betrayed ROOT. He told Torune to make sure Kyuubi was unable to leave Konoha.

Meanwhile, Karui was catching breath after hitting Naruto for a long time. She yelled at Naruto that she would keep it up until he told her about Sasuke as no amount of beating would make her feel better. Sai (behind the tree) and Omoi were watching. As she flew another fist at Naruto, Sai suddenly appeared and stopped her. Naruto told him to stay out of this. Sai told Naruto that there was no need for him to get beaten up for Sasuke’s sake. Naruto told him to shut up as it was his decision. Sai recalled Naruto’s telling him that he used to hate Sasuke but when they were together, it was fun and that Sasuke was his friend whom he was finally able to connect to him. Sai told Naruto that Sasuke had done nothing but hurt Naruto. He stated that if it were him when Karui interrupted and warned she would hit him if he interfered. Omoi stopped her this time and told her that beating wouldn’t get them anywhere. From the corner of his eye, Omoi watched Sai helped Naruto to his feet. Omoi stated that Naruto wouldn’t sell out his friends and eventhough he might be an enemy, Omoi liked him. Just then, Samui ran to them asking them if they found out anything else. Samui asked Karui if she was causing any trouble and Omoi told her that Kirabi could still be alive and that they had to rescue him by finding where Akatsuki’s hideout was. Samui told them that the enemies were strong enough to catch Kirabi and moreover, they might have many hideouts. She did not want to repeat what had happened to Yugito. She stated they would be taking information to Raikage directly. Naruto asked them to take him with them as he wanted to help. Besides, he wanted to talk to Raikage. Karui yelled that he was kidding. Samui recalled overhearing the villagers praising Naruto as a hero and a potential Hokage in future. She told Naruto that they did not know anything about him and couldn’t let him meet Raikage now when Naruto did not have a full guard. With that, she called Omoi and Karui to go and help her make copies of the information. When they left, Naruto asked Sai to take him to Kakashi and Yamato.

In another tent, Sai attended to Naruto’s wounds while Kakashi and Yamato watched. Sai suggested getting Sakura to take a look at his wounds. But Naruto refused, as he did not want to explain the situation to her. Moreover, he healed fast. Naruto apologised to Sai who did not mind and smiled at Naruto. Kakashi recalled his previous conversation with Sai. Sai was asking him of Naruto and Sakura’s bond with Sasuke. Kakashi was impressed that Sai helped Naruto even though it was not part of his mission to watch Naruto. Back to present, Kakashi told Naruto to rest for a while but Naruto insisted to see Raikage. Naruto wanted to convince Raikage to forgive Sasuke. Yamato retorted that Naruto did not even have his necklace seal anymore and as a jinchuriki, he should not be allowed to leave the village. Besides, during his battle with Pain, Naruto had gone all up to 8 tails. Yamato stated that Naruto was lucky that the seal worked and held back the fox and that there was no guarantee for next time. Moreover, Yamato had to do rebuilding work for the village and could not be with Naruto at all times. Naruto told them that he had met Yondaime. Kakashi, Sai and Yamato were shocked. Naruto told them that Yondaime was the one who stopped him from becoming kyuubi. As Yamato protested his disbelief, Kakashi stated that Yondaime might have put some energy inside Naruto during the Shiki Fujin technique. Naruto told them that Yondaime had told him of the guy in mask from Akatsuki was behind the kyuubi attack 16 years ago and that the man was so strong that even Yondaime could not do anything against him. Kakashi thought of Tobi. Naruto elaborated that Tobi was behind everything and had been using Pain. He stated that if Sasuke joined Akatsuki, then Tobi was probably using Sasuke too. Kakashi stated that this was just as Jiraiya feared as the man had sharingan. Kakashi stated Madara was the only Uchiha missing nin who hated Konoha that much and had the power to control kyuubi. Yamato believed Madara could be still alive. Naruto recalled Kyuubi once mentioned Uchiha Madara’s name before and asked Kakashi who Madara was. Kakashi told him that Madara was the former leader of Uchiha clan and was said to be defeated by the first Hokage. Kakashi told Sai that they had to tell the elders about this. He wanted Sai to tell Danzou about this. Kakashi asked Naruto what else did Yondaime told him. Kakashi remembered his meeting with his late father and stated fathers usually have things to say to their sons. Naruto smiled and tightened his grip on his blanket. He stated happily that Yondaime had faith in him. Naruto cheered and Sai smiled.

Kakashi gave him a thumb up and agreed. Kakashi told Naruto that Naruto would go after Raikage and that Yamato and Kakashi would go with him. Yamato protested but in vain.

In the woods, some ninjas were stalking Danzou and his two escorts. When they neared, they leaped at them. Danzou commanded his men to stand back as he wanted to get some exercise in the battle. He removed his eye bandage, revealing his sharingan.

COMMENT: Just as expected by many Naruto fans that Danzou has Sharingan eye. I wonder if Danzou is planning to control the Kyuubi in Naruto for his own benefit. Hopefully, Kakashi will eventually be the one to control the Kyuubi in Naruto.

Naruto Shippuuden #100: Inside the Mist

Sanbi emerged from the lake, its surrounding floating with broken crystals. On the shore, Yukimaru watched over the unconscious Guren. Mist started to appear. Kabuto watched Sanbi from afar. In the woods, Guren’s followers had lost sight of Konoha ninjas as they met up with Gozu who demanded to look for Guren. He set off looking for her alone; as he worried she might be injured.

Other place, Naruto wondered his situation and remembered Yukimaru, wondering why he was in Orochimaru’s group. He grumbled of the fog as he moved on. Naruto fell a world of illusion. Orochimaru appeared before Naruto followed by Sasuke whom he covered over him with his snakes. Naruto snapped at Orochimaru. Kakashi’s voice woke Naruto up as Kakashi stopped Naruto hitting Kiba with rasengan. Kiba snapped at Naruto for attacking him when all of them were looking for him. Kiba and Kakashi confirmed Naruto had encountered illusion. Shino and others arrived and showed them the insects affected by the fog. Naruto told them of Guren and a giant turtle, known as Sanbi at the lake. Kakashi proposed retreating until a proper strategy was derived.

Other place, Guren saw the illusion of the past when she killed Yukimaru’s mother. Guren woke up to see Yukimaru and recalled their earlier battle with Sanbi. She asked him of Sanbi which had gone quiet. Yukimaru expressed his concern for her and she was touched. Yukimaru was running a fever.

In the sky, Sai and Hinata travelled on painted bird to explore the lake. They reverted thei finding to Kakashi and others. Naruto worried for Yukimaru and wanted to find him at the lake that was dangerous with the fog barrier. Kakashi disagreed. He had sent Pakkun back to Konoha for Tsunade’s further instruction. Meanwhile, Tsunade learned of Sanbi from Pakkun. She and Shizune wanted to ensure Akatsuki would not get it. They allocated more members for Naruto and others back up. In the hospital, Ino who was training in medical saw the signal. Outside, Lee and Tenten were training in coordination under Gai. Tenten saw the signal. Lee and Tenten went to see Tsunade with Ino. They were to go with Shizune to assist Naruto and others. They would assist in sealing Sanbi. Pakkun would lead the way.

Other place, Guren was taking care of Yukimaru who had collapsed. She wondered if the medicine was the cause. She tried to wake him up. He told her he had found a place where he could return.

On the cliff, Sakura found Naruto in deep thought. She sat next to him. He told her of a matter he couldn’t understand. It was a home to return as long as there was someone thinking of another person. Sakura thought of Sasuke. Naruto told her that if they gave up, it would be very sad. Sakura stated her belief that both of them would not give up. Naruto thanked her for her words. Naruto thought of Yukimaru and left to look for him, planning to let Yukimaru feel him to be the place where he could return.

Bleach Issue #365: Whose Side Are We On

Gin and others were surprised to see Shinji and others who had left Soul Society 100 years ago. Hitsugaya could not recognise who they were and was confused. The Shinigami Chief Commander recognised Hirako Shinji. Hisagi also recognised some of the faces. None of the Vizards was interested to talk to the Shinigami except Lisa who talked to one of the Shinigami captain whom she was formerly under. She stomped on him from his fake death. He stated she had grown pretty since he last saw her. She kicked his face and he stated he was glad she was all right. She told him to lie while she showed him how strong she had become. She scolded him idiot as she returned to her fellow Vizards. The Chief Commander asked Shinji if he had returned for revenge but he stated he did not care about Shinigami but yes, he was planning to avenge revenge on Aizen. Shinji complained of the tight barrier that prevented them from entering if not for a Shinigami who permitted them in. Shinji told Chief Commander that they were not on Soul Society’s side but they were enemies of Aizen and that they were on Ichigo’s side. Shinji rejoined other Vizards. Wonderweiss started making noise and Gin complained that Wonderweiss was ruining the mood. His comrade told him that there was meaning in the noise. The monster begun to change and spilt open, something wet and dark poured out. The Shinigami were shocked. The darkness was Gillians. Shinji and others were ready to act as they donned their Hollow masks.

Dragon Ball Kai #13:

Nappa prepared to attack Kiririn and Gohan. But Goku reached there before he could do so and defeated Nappa, tossing him aside after destroying his attack ability. Kiririn and Gohan were impressed with Goku’s achievement. Goku told them that he had ki that could kill he himself if he lost control. Nappa begged Vegeta to help him but Vegeta tossed him into the air and killed him with his ki. Goku was shocked of Vegeta’s ki. So were Kiririn and Gohan. Goku commanded Gohan and Kiririn to leave. Kiririn knew. Gohan reluctantly agreed. Kiririn told Goku to fight elsewhere so that the corpses of comrades would not be destroyed. Kiririn had a way to revive their friends. With that, Kiririn wished Goku all the best. Goku and Vegeta flew off. Gohan watched Goku’s fading figure until Kiririn urged him to go to Kaname’s house. Goku found an isolated place without living things where he and Vegeta would fight. They began.

Vegeta was able to move before Goku’s every move and to hit him to the ground. Goku knew Vegeta’s speed was above his. Goku increased his power level and used his speedy kaioken. But Vegeta was about to break his attack. Vegeta showed his Saiyajin elite power that sent rocks crumbling and clouds to gather. Goku was stunned of the powerful ki. When everything cleared, Goku saw Vegeta floating before him. And Vegeta attacked with insane speed that Goku could not dodge. Goku torn off his shirt preparing to use 3x kaioken. Nearby, someone was watching them and knew Vegeta had the upper hand. He began to flee. At the battlefield, Goku increased his power beyond level 2 and Kaio was worried as he had not expected Vegeta to be that strong. Meanwhile, Buma read Goku’s increasing power level and her sensor broke. In the sky, Gohan had a bad feeling about it. At the battlefield, Goku’s power increased as he went 3x kaio level and dived at Vegeta.

Naruto Issue #454: The Five Kage

In the Hidden village of stone, Kurozuchi and Akazuchi were assigned to escort Tsuchikage to the Kage Summit. His people urged him to show other kages what he had got. The Tsuchikage was a short old man. One of his escorts – Akazuchi (a fat shinobi) offered to carry his luggage for him but was rejected firmly. Kurozuchi (a lady ninja who resembled Anko of Konoha) teased Tsuchikage, stating it was about time for him to retire. She was not amused when Tsuchikage sprained his back. And Akazuchi carried Tsuchikage and his luggage all together.

In the Hidden Village of Mist, Mizukage (a pretty light hair lady ninja) was being escorted by her followers as an old man handed her hat to her. Her younger escort was a teenager – Chokiro who was also one of the seven Mist swordsman (in same level as Kisame and Zabuza). Other was an elder man with an eye patch. The Mizukage told Chaojiro to be more confident in himself and he was grateful for her encouragement. Her other escort’s word was misunderstood by her and she was demoralized as she knew she was late for her marriage. She told him to shut up or she would kill him, with a smile. Chaojiro vowed to protect Mizukage’s smile as they set off.

In the Hidden Village of Cloud, Raikage was told by his secretary that they should be hearing from Samui’s team soon. Samui’s team knew the route to the meeting place and would probably intercept with them with news while on the way. With that, the Raikage set off with two escorts.

In Konoha, Karui and Omoi confronted Naruto in an isolated place outside a cabin house. Karui pinned Naruto to the wall, demanding him to tell them of Sasuke. Naruto thought of Sasuke and his time with him as team 7. Naruto could not bring himself to betray Sasuke. He also thought of Shikamaru’s words about Sasuke being their comrade and Sakura’s plead to bring Sasuke back. Naruto also thought of Namikaze Minato and Nagato’s words about the cycle of hatred. He told Karui that he knew she wanted revenge and told her that if she let her hatred lost control and kill Sasuke, Naruto and other Konoha ninjas would not let them off. He told her that the cycle of revenge would just keep going. Omoi was listening and asked Naruto what they should do with their hatred and wanted Naruto to tell them how he was going to make up for them. Naruto told them to hit him as much as they wanted. With that, Karui punched him to the ground. As she hit him, Sai watched the scene behind a tree.

In the Hokage tent, the ANBU told Danzou (who had wore Hokage hat) that they had gotten Daijimu Tera to tail Anko and asked if they should get her assassinated. Danzou told them it was not the right time as it would make matters worse than they already were. Danzou told them to put more people in finding Kabuto before Anko did as Kabuto might know about Danzou’s relationship with Orochimaru. Danzou knew Kabuto had data on Orochimaru’s experiments and he wanted to get his hands on them for it would be useful for his right eye and arm.

Naruto Shippuuden #98: The Target Appears

Naruto broke Guren’s crystal barrier and was shocked to see Hinata being held as hostage. Naruto tried to use toad water technique but failed. Meanwhile, one of Guren’s men ran off towards Guren’s direction. Kakashi, Sai and Yamato distracted Guren while Naruto and Gamatatchi took Hinata away. Rinji and others reached Guren to assist her.

At a safe area, Naruto called Gamatachi to place Hinata gently but Gamatachi clumsily dropped her. Pakkun meanwhile told Kakashi and others of Shizune and others’ finding of the analysis of the crystal. Naruto anxiously suggested taking Hinata to Konoha for treatment. The crystal shattered and Sakura told others that Hinata was all right. Hinata woke and told them that she had covered herself in thin film before she was attacked by Guren’s technique. Kakashi suggested retreating for now. Naruto and Kiba protested. In the end, they spilt into two groups. One group did tracking while Hinata’s group took time to recover. Gamatachi and other toad as well as Pakkun vanished. Sakura, Hinata and Sai stayed behind while others took off. Among the tree, Kabuto watched. In the hut, Yukimaru told Guren of Naruto. Guren was glad that Yukimaru did not go to Naruto and others. Guren planned to track them when Kabuto came along to warn Guren from losing Yukimaru as she would lose Orochimaru’s trust. Kabuto, Yukimaru, Guren and one follower went on boat to the lake. Yukimaru told Kabuto of his discomfort after taking the medication.

Meanwhile, Kiba, Naruto and Shino were on the move among the trees. So were Kakashi and Yamato. Shino reported his finding to others. Naruto did not understand. Kiba taunted Naruto being the only Genin. Kakashi ordered Naruto to create three clones and to place each of them three metres away from one another so as to distract the enemy’s bats. Kiba, original Naruto and others followed the enemy’s bats. Naruto passed motion at Kiba for his taunting. In the misty lake, Kabuto ordered Yukimaru to put on a strange headwear and ate some pills. Guren protested but kept quiet for fear of disappointing Orochimaru. She forced herself to encourage Yukimaru to listen to Kabuto. Guren activated crystal pillars around them. Yukimaru emitted strong power and lured out Sanbi from the water. Guren knew it was the three tailed bijuu.

Omake: Shino underwent X-ray. Sakura who was doing the examination could only see insects and she was shocked. Later, Naruto and Kiba were bemused at Shino’s ability to lose weight easily by letting out insects. Sai was impressed.

Naruto Issue #453: The Night Before the five Kages Meet

Madara intercepted Sasuke and Team Taka as they headed towards Konoha. Karin was confused over Madara’s sudden chakra appearance. Sasuke wondered how Madara knew where he was and Madara told them that it was within his powers eventhough Sasuke underestimated him. Sasuke told Madara that Team Taka was no longer part of Akatsuki as they had no further use for Madara. Madara told them that he would have killed them if they betrayed Akatsuki, besides they broke their promise to him as the Hachibi was not captured at all except its tenacle. Madara told them that he was disappointed with them. Sasuke was shocked, as he had not seen how Kirabi would have the time to create a clone. Madara told them to forget Kirabi as he had something else he wanted them to do. Sasuke wanted to refuse and Madara challenged that he would fight him on the spot if he wanted to go to Konoha. Sasuke activated chidori at Madara’s chest but passed through him instead. Madara told Sasuke that Konoha was already destroyed. Zetsu appeared and told them that he would explain. Madara asked Zetsu who the new Hokage was and the latter told him that it was a guy named Danzou. Madara stated he had thought as much and told Sasuke that Danzou was one of the elders who drove Itachi to his end. Madara told Sasuke that Pain had destroyed Konoha and because of his and Pain’s commotion, there would be a five Kage summit. Zetsu stated he would explain the rest.

In Konoha, Kamui demanded Naruto and Sakura to tell them all they knew about Uchiha Sasuke, including his techniques as well as Akatsuki. Sakura stated her disbelief that Sasuke was a member of Akatsuki. Kamui retorted that Sakura was annoying and questioned what Sasuke was to her. Sakura began to sob and Naruto watched her sadly. Kamui retorted that she was the one who wanted to cry even more as crying would not bring Kirabi or Yugito back. Sai stated that since Hokage had already approved the order to kill Sasuke, the village would definitely provide the necessary information she needed. As such, she did not have to pressurize Naruto and Sakura. Kamui stated she wanted to know any more information, as she could not bear sitting around not knowing what happen to their sensei. Naruto stated his understanding how they felt as he had lost Jiraiya not long ago. Naruto asked Kamui and Omoi if their sensei was a Jinchiriki and they were shocked that he knew. Naruto told them that like Kirabi, he himself was a Jinchiriki too and it was also his fight against Akatsuki. He told them that Akatsuki wanted the Jinchiriki alive and therefore, their sensei could still be alive. Omoi and Kamui were surprised. Naruto told them to rescue Kirabi before going after Sasuke. Omoi and Kamui were relieved. Naruto told them that he would help them find Kirabi as well as providing information on Akatsuki. Kamui stated Naruto looked smarter than he appeared and wanted him to tell them about Sasuke too. Sakura watched Naruto and Naruto told her to leave everything to him. Kamui asked Naruto his name and he told her.

Other place, Suigetsu was shocked to learn that Naruto was the one who defeated Pain. Zetsu stated that Naruto could be stronger than Sasuke now but Sasuke did not care as he was more concerned of the five Kage Summit. Suigetsu knew Sasuke’s target was now Danzou and that they were going to head for the meeting. Sasuke stated he wanted to kill the Kages with a change of his plan. Madara agreed. Karin knew it was going to be a troublesome affair. Zetsu offered to lead Sasuke as he spilt into half. The white Zetsu guided Team Taka while the black one remained with Madara. Jugo asked Sasuke if they could trust Madara and Zetsu. Sasuke stated that if they tried anything funny, he would use Amaterasu on them. Meanwhile, black Zetsu stated that everything went well. Madara stated he did not believe Nagato would use his Rinne Tensei like that as he had knew it was supposedly meant for Madara. He also stated that even if Sasuke became more powerful than Nagato, he would not be any use to them if they could not control him. Madara did not plan to sync him with Gedo Mazo for a while and planned to see how the situation progressed. Zetsu was surprised that Madara had taken into account for Nagato’s death. Madara replied that he had done so just in case and stated that Naruto had thrown a wrench into his plans. Madara added that he had enough of being cautious and decided to implement the “Moon’s Eye Plan”.

Meanwhile, in the Hidden Village of Sand, the villagers instructed Temari and Kankuro to take care of Gaara as they made their way to the Five Kage Summit.

Bleach Issue #363: Superchunky from Hell

Stark was surprised of Ukitake’s defensive technique. The two Shinigami captains joined force against him. Ukitake advised his comrade not to use his bankai where anyone could see. Stark’s partner warned that it was a trap but he did not care and he continued his attack at Ukitake who still repelled the Ceros. Stark figured out Ukitake’s technique. Ukitake was impressed. Stark shot 1000 Ceros to disrupt Ukitake’s technique and the other Shinigami captain went to his aid. Just then, another Espada entered the fight. It was Wonderwice. There was something huge, dark and monstrous behind him.

Naruto Issue Spoiler #453:

Madara intercepted Sasuke's path to Konoha and told him that he failed capturing Kirabi who had tricked Sasuke and Team Taka with his part. Zetsu spilt into two bodies and also updated Madara and Sasuke that Danzou who was one of the three elders who forced Itachi to a corner had became the new Hokage. He also told them that Danzou was on his way to the Kage Summit. Sasuke was planning to kill the new Hokage - Danzou at the Summit. Madara stated that it was all because of Uzumaki Naruto (in his part to cause Pain's death) that he was forced to delay his plan. Zetsu commented that Naruto could be stronger than Sasuke as he was the one who defeated Nagato/Pain. The white Zetsu guided Sasuke and Team Taka to Danzou while the black Zetsu stayed with Madara.

Meanwhile, Sakura was upset over Sasuke's joining of Akatsuki. Naruto's face saddened at Sakura's despair. Also, Naruto, upon learning the Cloud ninjas' tales, agreed to go with Omoi and Kamui to find Kirabi. Kamui and Omoi were surprised to learn Naruto's name and Naruto's status as Jinchuriki (just like Kirabi). In the meantime, Gaara, Kankuro and Temari (finally!) also made their appearance in face of the Kage Summit.

Bleach Issue #362: Howling Wolves

Stark revealed his true power with a furry coat and a gun. Lilynette was his gun. The Shinigami captain attacked but Stark dodged in time. They fought. The Shinigami captain knew the gun shot Ceros. Stark fired a powerful Ceros at him. The Shinigami captain had problem dodging a series of them in time and the other Shinigami captain helped him by cutting the approaching Ceros with his swords.

Naruto Issue #452: Closing In on Danzou

Naruto and Sakura wanted to confront Danzo to change his decision for the death sentence order on Sasuke but Kakashi advised them against it as it could give Danzo an excuse to lock Naruto – the Kyuubi Jinchuriki into the jail. Kakashi told them that despite the Jonins pre-voting of Hokage, Danzo was still temporary a Hokage. Kakashi warned Naruto that by playing into Danzo’s hand by confronting him on Sasuke matter, Naruto could be locked up and would not be able to look for Sasuke himself.

In a tent, Danzo ordered Sai to keep an eye on Naruto to make sure he did not do anything out of ordinary. Should Naruto do so, Sai was to report it to Danzo. Sai asked Danzo what he was planning to do with Naruto. Danzo reassured that given Naruto’s current popularity, he could not get into the villagers’ bad book by doing anything bad to Naruto as it was a critical time for him. Moreover, Naruto was a Jinchuriki and as a Hokage, Danzo had to watch him. He stated he would not be as weak as Tsunade. While Sai walked out of the tent, Naruto and Sakura approached him asking him about Danzo. Sai showed them his seal on his tongue and told them that all foundation members had such seals to prevent them from revealing about Danzo. He told them that eventhough Danzo ordered them to do dirty deeds; his main intention was to protect the village. The seal was to ensure that even if the foundation members were caught, they would not reveal information, as they would become paralyzed if they tried to reveal. Sakura told Sai that Danzo was going back on Tsunade’s promise about Sasuke and Sai stated he knew nothing about it. Omoi and Kamui overheard their conversation and confronted them for information on Sasuke, Kamui’s sword was pointing at Sakura.

Instantly, Naruto drew Sai’s sword and blocked Sakura away from the tip of the sword. Omoi and Kamui fought Naruto who activated shadow clones and blocked Kamui’s sword attacks. Sai and Sakura tried to help but Omoi kicked Sakura away. The real Naruto rushed to help Sakura so that she would not get hurt. Naruto demanded to know what they were doing and Sakura recognised them as ninjas from Cloud village. Omoi demanded to know about Sasuke who had attacked their village. Kamui yelled that Sasuke had took their teacher away and they did not know if he was still alive. Sakura was shocked. Kamui told them that Sasuke was a member of Akatsuki. Omoi told them that Hokage had given Raikage permission to kill Sasuke. Naruto was stunned and wondered what had happened to Sasuke to cause such mayhem.

COMMENT: According to the last panel of the issue, the next part is likely the kage summit. Oh boy, Naruto manga issues are getting more and more intensified, I really hope it will go beyond 500. It's plot is getting more unpredictable and exciting as compared to One Piece and Bleach which are still stuck in the prison and shinigami vs Arrancar/Espada battles respectively.

Naruto Shippuuden #97: The Ladyrith of the Distorted reflection

The research center in Konoha examined the sample from Shino’s trapped insect. Tsunade was surprised of the jutsu on crystal. It was said that a village vanished due to that technique. She suspected the person was from Orochimaru’s group and she knew Orochimaru must have gotten desperate to hide Sasuke from other people due to his nearing health condition. On the mountainous area, Yamato was leading Naruto, Sai and Sakura. He asked Sai to monitor the surrounding. Naruto took the chance of a break and ran off. From the air, Sai saw something. They were camellia in the water. At a corner, Naruto was planning to train himself when the air turned misty. Yukimaru appeared. Naruto greeted him and ran to him. Yukimaru told him about the words Naruto had told him before and started saying about the disappearing camellia, Naruto offered to take him to Konoha. Yukimaru refused as he had someone to return to. Yukimaru showed him the camellia crystal and vanished when Sakura and others approached Naruto for Shino had sent insects to them. Naruto told them about Yukimaru but they did not believe him.

Other place, Guren was told of Kakashi and his team’s ability. Guren decided to do the rest and set off creating crystal traps in form of labyrinth. In the woods, Shino passed the fellow team members information. Shino sensed barrier and Hinata confirmed it as she saw her own reflections as well as others. Her Byugan failed her. Guren created crystal clones of herself. Guren sent crystal shards at Kakashi and others. Kakashi tried to use Sharingan to copy crystal jutsu but failed. Hinata prepared to use Neji’s technique to fight Guren. Guren trapped Hinata in her crystal. The rest of her clones retreated from Kakashi and the rest. The real Guren emerged with the trapped Hinata. Meanwhile, Naruto and others reached the external part of the crystal. Sai flew to examine the surrounding which was a huge crystal dome. Yamato analysed that Kakashi and others were trapped inside. Naruto suggested breaking through. Yamato tried penetrating underground but failed. Naruto had a plan and reassured Sakura that he was not using rasenshuriken. He summoned Gamatatsu and his fellow toad. They were going to use the new technique. Within the crystal, Guren threatened Kakashi and others with Hinata’s life. Outside, Naruto prepared to use the new synchronizing water technique with Gamatatsu. It melted the crystal dome. Sakura and others were impressed.

Omake: Naruto got his second hand television which Sakura and Yamato the news hosts told them about analog and digital television. Thrilled at watching his own anime and appearance of Kakuzu, Naruto fired his rasengan at his television. Sakura’s warning not to use rasengan on television came too late as Naruto broke his own television. Naruto wailed.
