Naruto Shippuuden #134:

As Pain stated his preparation to seek out for Kyuubi Junchuriki aka Naruto, Zetsu stated that he was going to check out the battle between Itachi and Sasuke.

Other place, Sasuke destroyed a clone of Itachi's who told him to meet him at the Uchiha basement for duel. Sasuke met up with Karin, Sugetsu and Juugo and made their way towards that location. Along the way, they ran into one of Naruto's clones and Sasuke hit him vanished. Naruto detected Sasuke's location and together with Kakashi and others, they made their way there.

There, Naruto and others were obstructed by Madara who messed about their battle formation. Same time, Kisame distracted Sugetsu, Karin and Juugo while Sasuke set off to find Itachi. Suigetsu fought Kisame.

Naruto Shippuuden #133:

In Konoha, Tsunade was commenting on the continuous rain and Shizune tried to reassure her that Jiraiya would return safe and sound. Tsunade betted using her past experience of poor luck that Jiraiya would not return. She thought of the words Jiraiya last spoke to her about her duping him and could not resist a smile. She prepared to give him a beating back to his old self when he returned.

In the Country of Rain, Jiraiya was shocked to see Yahiko having Nagato's Rinnegan eyes as well as five other people. Pain told him that together, the six of them were Pain. Jiraiya had difficulty fending them off and managed to drag one of them within a toad's body. Within the toad's boundary, Jiraiya managed to hit the opponent with rasengan but was accidentially stabbed by his strange rod that disrupted his Chakra flow. At closer distance, he was shocked to see the opponent a past enemy met during his trip in his younger days for ideas to his novel. Despite the two elderly toads' warning, he decided to check the real identity of the other four Pains. Jiraiya called Ma toad to escape as he went into the open. Pa toad promised to return home for dinner with Jiraiya.



Out in the open, Jiraiya was attacked by all the Pains and he was aghast to see all of them (excluding Yahiko) people he had met during his younger days' journey. His throat was crushed and his body stabbed by all Pains. He thought of his past failures of being rejected by Tsunade, failure to save Sandaime and Minato, failure to outshine his life and suddenly recalled Minato commenting Jiraiya's gallant novel and life. He also thought of Naruto who never gave up.

With a sudden surge of energy, he wrote his last words on Pa toad's back. As Pain dashed to crush them, Jiraiya fell into the water and Pa toad managed to escape. In the water, Jiraiya decided to name his last novel - Uzumaki Naruto scroll and finally understood that Naruto was the Child of Destiny.

In the woods, Naruto was leaping from tree to tree when he sensed Jiraiya touching his shoulder but when he turned around, there was no one behind him. In Konoha, Tsunade thought she saw a toad looking at her as she looked out the lake. Out in the sea, a toad was floating towards a direction.

COMMENT: I cannot resist my tears and sadness especially the part when Jiraiya thought of his failure in life during his last moments. Cannot imagine how much I'll cry when Naruto learn of Jiraiya's death.

Bleach #243:

Mayuri's Zanpakutou attacked Iba and 4th squad vice captain with his poison but they managed to duck. However, Hinamori and Matsumoto's Zanpakutous appeared and attacked them. 4th squad vice captain's leg was paralysed by Mayuri's Zanpakutou's poison. Matsumoto and Hinamori appeared and fought them Zanpakutou. Mayuri's Zanpakutou attacked them with his poison again.

Other place, Kiba defeated Hisagi's Zanpakutou but was attacked and pinned to the ground by his own Zanpakutou. Ikkaku and his comrade were also not in good position. Sai Fon was also attacked by her small Zanpakutou. Byakuya defeated Renji and his Zanpakutou. Ichigo was anxious as he fought Byakuya's Zanpakutou. Suddenly, Kenpachi broke out of a hut, surging with power and laughing insanely.

COMMENT:

New opening and ending. The new opening is cooler than Shoujo S.

Dragon Ball Kai #29:

Freeza's men confronted Gohan, Kiririn and Vegeta. The leader took the seven dragon balls away to pass them to Freeza. The remaining four faced Gohan, Kiririn and Vegeta. One of them who could freeze time was the first to fight Kiririn and Gohan. As he was held off restricting Gohan and Kiririn's movement, Vegeta sliced his head off. Gohan and Kiririn were surprised that their lives were saved by Vegeta. The remaining three debated whom to fight them next. Vegeta stated that their hell was about to begin as he knew their opponents were much powerful than them.

In space, Goku was informed by the system that he was reaching his destination in 20 minutes.

Samurai Champloo #13:

Fuu, Jin and Mugen came to the seaside where Mugen met his old friends who had lived with him in the island where criminals were deported and grown roots there. His female friend was delighted to see him but his foster brother was not. After some arguments, his foster brother got Mugen to help him to attack a government ship for gold. Mugen told Fuu that if he did not return, she and Jin would have to proceed Nagasaki without him. Fuu was not happy. Later, the female friend rushed to tell Fuu and Jin that Mugen’s foster brother had meant to betray Mugen again in the mission.

On the sea, Mugen’s foster brother deserted Mugen on the government ship which he shortly blew up. On the shore, the female friend, Jin and Fuu saw the explosion. Fuu was aghast.

Samurai Champloo #14:

As Mugen sank into the sea, he thought of the past when his foster brother had betrayed him before resulting to Mugen being arrested by the government and to be executed at the edge of the cliff. Mugen leaped into the sea before the officers opened fire at him. Another flash, he recalled his meeting with the female friend who had been concerned of him.

Next day, Fuu was searching the shore when she found Mugen being washed ashore. She took him back and nursed him back to health. In a cave, Mugen’s foster brother disclosed the location of the stolen gold to a young man. Meanwhile, Jin and the female friend confronted Mugen’s foster brother who told the female friend to enter a hut to meet the young man. Jin killed Mugen’s foster brother who realised both of them had been tricked by the female friend and the young man. Mugen left Fuu to find his foster brother and met Jin who told him of the female friend’s betrayal. Mugen confronted and killed the young man, leaving the female friend who still did not know location of the gold, aghast and ashamed.

Samurai Champloo #15:

Jin found a small bag of gold in a lake. Together with Mugen and Fuu, they enjoyed themselves in a town. Jin and Mugen sneaked off to a prostitute lair. The only pretty prostitute was a spy to the owner of the lair who was actually running an illegal operation beneath the building. The organisation was suspecting the female spy and also planning to kill Mugen, Jin and Fuu for finding the illegal gold. The female spy lured Mugen into cracking the illegal operation and eliminated the organization. Next day, she left off with her comrade who was rescued from the lair, leaving Mugen still unconscious under the tree. Other place, Fuu was still looking for Jin and Mugen while Jin was suffering from back ache.

Naruto Shippuuden #132: Enter - The Six Path of Pain

Jiraiya managed to stop Ma and Pa toads from bickering and concentrated fighting the three Pains. After analysing, he noticed that one of them could summon creatures while another one could absorb Chakra. He also observed that the three men possessed the same Rinnegan and suspected the real Pain was among them. Suspecting that their close coordination was due to common sharing of their views through Rinnegan, Jiraiya was forced to hide in a piping.


Within the piping, Toad Ma and Pa gathered Chakra and forced their genjutsu song to trap the three Pains while Jiraiya stabbed them. Feeling sure that Pain was dead, Jiraiya walked towards the exit only to be hit out by one of the Pains. Out in the open, six Pains leaped out to confront the injured Jiraiya who identified one of them.

OMAKE:

Naruto invited Jiraiya on Air and asked embarrassing questions like when his Icha-Icha book was coming out as well as his payment of debts. Jiraiya silently apologised to Minato for not bringing his son - Naruto up well.

Naruto Issue #468: Hachibi and Kyuubi

Madara declared the 4th Ninja war and vanished. The four remaining kages and Mifune of Iron Country began to discuss their strategies. Tsuchukage tried his best to get others to send Kyuubi and Hachibi Jinchuriki to frontline of battle. But Raikage and Gaara strongly disagreed for they knew the nature of Killer Bee and Naruto. Gaara insisted protecting the remaining Jinchuriki and others agreed. Choujirou told others that Kisame had the Chakra similar to Jinchuriki. Raikage sent his men to inform Killer Bee's students of his status and also to search for Killer Bee. He also told Gaara his meeting with Kakashi and Naruto. Gaara and others would look for Naruto and to inform Kakashi of Danzou's betrayal.

In other part of Iron Country, Naruto went into Sage mode on the roof top hoping to find Sasuke, despite Yamato asking him to get into the house. Just then, Kiba, Sai, Sakura and Lee arrived and called him. Kakashi was surprised.

Other place, Killer Bee was training under Sab-Chan sensei on rap when Kisame interrupted them, determined to catch Killer Bee. Killer Bee faced off him.

Bleach Issue #378: Eyes of the Victor

Rukia was in the gasp of Yammy who was totally in victory status. Ichigo arrived in time to save her. He slashed off Yammy's Cero and reassured Rukia that Orihime and Ishida were safe now. Rukia was confused as Ichigo moved on to fight Yammy and drove him away from Rukia, Renji and Chad so that he could fight him without fearing his friends would get hurt. When they were away from Rukia and others, Ichigo donned his Hollow mask to face off Yammy.

Naruto Shippuuden #131: Honored Sage Mode!

Jiraiya and Gamaken fought the multi-head dogs summoned by Pain. Throughout the battle, Jiraiya kept his palms together to summon Toad Pa and Toad Ma. After some difficulties using shadow clones and jutsu to distract Pain's summoned animals including giant bird and rhino, Jiraiya finally summoned Toad Pa and Ma and merged with them into Sage Mode.

Toad Ma located Pain's location. Toad Pa and Toad Ma could not believe Nagato was the child of Destiny. Jiraiya stated that Nagato had Rinnegan and because of the incorrect path of development, he had to destroy him. Pain summoned two more of his bodies before them.

Full Metal Panic! #02:

Sousuke continued getting jumpy over his mission to protect Chidori, causing a lot of misunderstanding but he also saved Chidori in time from being knocked down by a truck. Meanwhile, someone was plotting to kidnap Chidori. It was another day, Chidori chaired a class event and Sousuke unfortunately was assigned to deal with rubbish. When they left for home, Chidori noticed Sousuke stalking her on the train and she quickly departed without him. Sousuke jumped out of the train after her and she decided to have a talk with him.

Naruto Shippuuden #129 - #130:

Jiraiya succeeded infiltrating into Rain Country and tried to gather information from the commoners of the current country that he was surprised had united. From a prostitute in a bar, he learned that their village leader - Pain had defeated Hanzo and united the country. The people also idolised some paper folding known as Tenshi (angel) sama. Because of the jutsu held within the rain that fell on the people, they did not dare to say anything that was against Pain.

Within a tall tower, Pain was aware that someone powerful had infiltrated into his country and he sent Konan to investigate. Meanwhile, Jiraiya managed to lure the prostitute's husband and his friend who were genins working for Pain into his toad bar and tried to interrogate information of Pain from them. Jiraiya sent one of them to Ibiki of Konoha and manipulated the other one into looking for Pain for information. Konan informed Pain the identity of intruder and Pain went to activate one of his corpse bodies. Konan went first to fight Jiraiya. Jiraiya was shocked to see the Akatsuki members to be his former students whom he thought was dead. When his oil trapped Konan's paper jutsu, Pain used his other body and confronted Jiraiya who knew him to be Nagato. Nagato told Jiraiya that Yahiko was dead. Jiraiya stated that Nagato had changed. As Nagato attacked Jiraiya, he told Jiraiya that he needed all Bijuu to create a jutsu that would destroy countries so that their people would grow through pain. Pain stated he was the God.

OMAKE:

Kakashi complained and wanted Jiraiya to publish his next Icha Icha book as his current one was read more than 10 times. Jiraiya tried to chat with some ladies and was beaten up. He summoned a toad and caused the bar to collapse. Telling Kakashi to deal with the rest, he went off. Kakashi wished him good luck before he fainted among the building ruins.

Sakura agreed to go to a festival fair after Naruto's begging and made him pay for her entertainments along the way. In the fair, there were many characters of Naruto manga who had died or are from other villages example Sasori, Kimimaru, Temari, etc. Naruto's purse was soon dried and he and Sakura had a walk in the woods where they saw soul of Sandaime. Sakura punched Naruto when he grinned over her hugging of him at the fear of seeing ghost. Just then, fireworks exploded in the sky and they watched.

Bleach #239:

Hinamori and Rangiku fought their Zanpakutou. With coordinated strengths, they overcame their Zanpakutou and won.

Meanwhile, Hitsugaya fought his Zanpakutou and related how he learned of his Zanpakutou's name when he was yet a Shinigami. Rangiku had then sensed his unhidden reiatsu and advised him of self control to save his grandmother's life. Back to present, Hitsugaya activated his Zanpakutou's ability using his own shiki and finally made his Zanpakutou regain his memory. Ichigo also broke through his ice prison using his bankai. In the woods, Musamura finally found the Hollow he wanted and drew the force within the Hollow into him.

Naruto Issue #465: Attack on the Summit

The demon of Sasuke’s Susanoo crashed the pillars, sending ceiling collapsing onto both friends and foes. Sasuke commanded Karin to lead him to Danzou and she did. She asked about Suigetsu and Jugoo but Sasuke did not care. She wondered what had happened to him. With that, Sasuke and Karin made their exit. Kankuro apologised to Garaa for his failure. Raikage broke through the ground and was not pleased. Garaa wondered what Naruto would do if he was in the position. Juugo and Suigetsu managed to make it through.

In the Summit, Ao detected the arrival of Sasuke and Karin from above. Mifune attacked Sasuke at the ceiling with his katana. Danzou took the chance to escape. Ao ran after him. Mizukage stopped Sasuke with her lava technique.

One Piece Issue #558: Brother

Luffy confirmed his knowing that Ace’s execution was brought forward to Whitebeard. Kizaru attacked Luffy. Iva helped by using his Death Wink at Kizaru. Luffy thanked him. Kuma attacked Iva. Luffy faced off a woman while Ace ordered Luffy to stay out of the affair but Luffy refused flatly because Ace was his brother, not wanting to care of pirate rules. Jimbei aided Luffy. The Marine was shocked to learn that Luffy was the son of the ‘Revolutionary Dragon’.

Dragon Ball Kai #24:

Goku was training in his spaceship. Just then, he heard Kaio’s voice. Kaio was hoping Goku would find the dragon balls and told him of his friends who visited him. They were Piccalo and others who wanted to talk to Goku over the speaker. Goku was glad to know Chaozu was well in the other world. Goku related the most recent battle with Vegeta who set off to Namek for dragon balls. There were also more powerful enemies on Namek. Kaio was hoping Freeza was not there as it would bad if it happened. Kaio went to check and located Freeza there. Kaio was shocked and told Goku that Freeza was a terrible opponent. Kaio ordered Goku and others to escape from Freeza for the sake of other planets. Goku was more tempted to check Kaio out. Piccolo told Goku to revive him and others as he wanted to know more of Freeza. Kaio warned Piccolo and others and wanted them to promise not to go near Freeza. Piccolo and others had no intention to do so. Kaio wanted Piccolo and others to tell him a joke first. On the spaceship, Goku continued to train himself.

On Namek, Karirin and the local kid were flying through the air. Same time, Vegeta sensed their ki and went to check out. Kiririn knew Vegeta was approaching and dragged the local kid to hide. Vegeta was distracted by Zarbon’s larger ki. Vegeta fought him. Kiririn and his friend - Dende watched the battle from afar and hurried off. Kiririn realised there was no night in Namek. Meanwhile, Zarbon began to transform with greater power and attacked Vegeta. Vegeta was sent crashing into the ground. Zarbon regained back to normal and set off to look for Freeza. When he was gone, Vegeta emerged from the pool, vowing to defeat Zarbon and Freeza some day.

Bleach Issue #375:

Flashback, Aizen commented Stark being strong after he eliminated mountains of Hollows. He asked Stark to join him as ally and he agreed. Back to present, Stark was defeated. As he fell, he apologised to Aizen for not able to repay him and he knew he was not alone. He recalled meeting Lilynette the first time and they had promised to stick together forever. Other place, Aizen told Gin to stop and to get the battle over with. With that, he stabbed the last Espada. He stated that he was done with her, as she was not strong enough to fight for him. He called Gin and Kaname to go with him.

Naruto Shippuuden #127 - #128: Tales of a Gutsy Ninja ~Jiraiya Ninja Scroll

Flashback during 2nd Hokage's reign. Jiraiya, Orochimaru and Tsunade were trained under Sabutou who subsequently became Sandaime. Jiraiya was unable to win the bells from his teacher, unlike Orochimaru and Tsunade whom he failed to woo. Sabutou demonstrated summoning technique to give him an aim to train his chakra. Jiraiya attempted summoning without signing any contract with any animal and ended up in the toad village. He defeated a snake before a toad and the toads told him about their elderly foreseeing his future. Jiraiya trained himself between Konoha and Toad village. One day, the elderly toad summoned for him and told him of his future. Jiraiya would one day become teacher of a ninja whose ability would determine world peace. Jiraiya would also one day travelled all over the world and to write a novel.

Meanwhile, ninja wars erupted all over the countries. Following the guidance of the elderly toad, Jiraiya went on a journey and met many ninjas, trying to find students who could accomplish world peace but failed. He returned to Konoha where he witnessed Tsunade's pain of losing her only younger brother. Shortly, he, Tsunade and Orochimaru were engaged in the war and fought Hanzou in Rain country. Hanzou gave them titles of Sannin for being able to survive his attacks. He declared Konoha ninjas won.

After that, Tsunade, Jiraiya and Orochimaru met Yahiko, Nagato and Konan who stalked them for food. Later, Yahiko pleaded them to teach them ninjatsu. Jiraiya stayed behind to train them after he realised Nagato had the eyes of the legendary ninja. During that time, he managed to write the novel. When he returned to Konoha, he and other Konoha ninjas were engaged in 3rd Ninja war. During that time, he received information of the deaths of Nagato, Konan and Yahiko and was despair. After the war ended, his student - Minato read his novel and asked to name his unborn son after the main character in the story - Naruto. His wife - Kushina agreed.

07-Ghost #23:

The next test was to determine how well candidates could cope with their darkness within their hearts. Hyakkuren faced a cloak of darkness wanting to kill his father who refused to acknowledge his future plan. He finally defeated the darkness which was actually he himself for he had hated his father greatly. Meanwhile, Teito also defeated the illusional Ayanami who was actually the darkness within himself for he had hated himself for causing Mikage's death. As he completed his exam, Frau set off to fetch him. Same time, Ayanami and his troops invaded the church. Frau could not find Teito who stepped out of the door. Meanwhile, Teito stepped out of the door to meet the real Ayanami.

Detective Conan #492 - #493:

Conan and others found a thank you note left by Ran in the library 10 years ago and Conan related to others of young Shinichi and Ran's attempt to solve a mystery set by a mysterious man who later turned out to be the previous Kaitou Kid. It was also during that time when Shinichi finally called Ran by her name instead of by surname. Back to present, Conan realised the code was actually meant for a message from from previous Kaitou Kid to his own father.

Naruto Shippuuden #126: Twilight

Karin detected the Konoha ninjas tracking them with dogs and she used Juugo's birds to deliver shattered pieces of Sasuke's robe to send wrong messages to Kiba who was in charge of tracking. Naruto was forced to use shadow clones to find Sasuke. In Konoha, Jiraiya visited Tsunade and told her of his finding of Akatsuki leader's location over their sake. In the woods, Naruto faced off Itachi who sent him into genjutsu of crows. Itachi reassured Naruto that he only wanted to chat with him. After that, he left. In Konoha, Tsunade and Jiraiya discussed Naruto's parents - Namikaze Minato and Uzumaki Kushina. As Jiraiya left, Tsunade's tears began to flow.

OMAKE: Tsunade invited Jiraiya to talk about himself and ended up spouting Jiraiya's failures in life. Jiraiya was bemused.

Naruto Shippuuden #125: Disappearance

Tobi blew himself up with his ultimate jutsu, hoping to bring Sasuke down with him. The impact spread across the forest and rose into the sky. From afar, Sakura, Sai, Shino and Kiba saw the explosion. Kakashi and Pakkun as well as Naruto, Hinata and Yamato also saw it. Naruto suggested investigating and the others agreed. Juugo was running and Karin worried for Sasuke. She sensed Sasuke’s Chakra over there. Suigetsu pulled out a scroll. Zetsu knew Deldara blew himself up. A crater was formed where Deldara and Sasuke were located. In the Akatsuki meeting, the others knew of Deldara’s death. Itachi appeared indifferent to it. They also assumed Tobi dead along with Deldara’s jutsu. Kisame felt pity for Tobi’s loss because of his personality.

Suigetsu dropped Sasuke’s blood on his scroll and summoned Manda out. Sasuke struggled from Manda that told Sasuke off for using his gentjutsu to make use of it. With it, Manda died. Karin and Juugo ran to them. Suigetsu knew Sasuke had hid inside Manda. Sasuke told others of his either battle with an Akatsuki member. It was a raining day and Kisame and Itachi were taking shelter. Itachi stood out in the rain, grazing the sky. Kisame commented that Itachi looked like he was crying. Itachi stated that he knew Sasuke was not dead. The rain stopped.

Meanwhile, Kiba was tracking the scene when others arrived. He told them of a battle earlier. The ninja dogs also detected other people who had been travelling with Sasuke. Kakashi guessed Sasuke had his own team and knew Sasuke had faked his own death using transportation technique. Naruto wanted to find Sasuke. Kiba analysed the scents and detected Sasuke’s location. He led the way.

Other place, Pain was called to Konan’s side. Someone had arrived. Pain asked the person of Sasuke. The person stated Sasuke would surpass Itachi and told Pain to hunt Kyuubi Juuchuriki. He also told him that as a leader, failure was not an option. In an inn, Juugo bandaged Sasuke while Karin taunted them. Karin and Suigetsu argued until Sasuke asked them of findings. But they found none but they knew Akatsuki were targeting some people. Sasuke remembered Kyuubi within Naruto. While Karin beat Suigetsu, Juugo’s curse seal lost control. Sasuke activated his Sharingan and calmed Juugo down. Juugo apologised and put Sasuke to rest. A bird flew in and chipped on Juugo’s shoulder. Suigetsu questioned Karin’s intention to provoke him. Juugo told them that he needed Sasuke to control his killing impulse.

On the path, Kiba led the way while Naruto and others followed. Kiba knew Sasuke was resting. Meanwhile, the person told Pain and Konan that Naruto was strong as he had defeated Kakuzu and had many comrades. Konan was unconcerned of Naruto’s strength, for Pain had never fail in battle before. The person stood out in the lightning night, revealing the face of Tobi. He introduced himself as Uchiha Madara who possessed the true Sharingan before he made his departure. Konan commented that the sky was crying. She asked of Pain.

COMMENT: Opening video back to normal scenes.

Naruto Shippuuden #122: Hunt

Kakashi told Naruto, Sakura, Sai, Shino, Hinata and Kiba, as well as Yamato the plan. Kakashi summoned his ninja dogs so that their barks could reach one another in times if the scents of targets were picked at distance further than mic. Shino, Sakura and Sai would be accompanied by two ninja dogs each while Kiba accompanied as usual by Akamaru and Kakashi with Pakkun. Naruto being a Juuchuriki targeted by the Akatsuki, was accompanied by Hinata, Yamato and a ninja dog in case of an attack. Each group would survey an area a distance from their gathering point and if there was no result, they would gather at the next point for another survey to find Itachi or Sasuke.

Meanwhile, Sasuke sent Suigetsu, Juugo and Karin to find Itachi. Karin tried to find an opportunity to get close to Sasuke but failed. Later, Suigetsu stomped down a betting area where Kakuzu frequently went for information. Juugo sought information from the birds in the forest. Same time, Kiba and Akamaru went on their ways, determined to find Itachi or Sasuke’s scent before other ninja dogs. Shino was pissed with his ninja dogs that complained his bug scent and his dragging feet. Sai while running gave his ninja dogs funny nicknames. Sakura and her ninja dogs tried to follow a detected Sasuke’s scent only to pass Karin who was in the same path of a town. In the sky, Deldara and Tobi sought to find either Sasuke or Kyuubi (aka Naruto).

Naruto, Yamato and Hinata were walking. Same time in other place, Sasuke did the same. Suddenly, Yamato detected stalker and tossed his kunai to chase Kabuto out of his hiding. Same time, Sasuke found Tobi stalking him and glared at him. Deldara attacked Sasuke with his bomb from the sky.

Meanwhile, Kabuto told Naruto that he just wanted a small chat with him. Naruto asked him if it was true that Sasuke killed Orochimaru. Kabuto confirmed it and went on saying that he planned to give Naruto a little gift as gratitude. Kabuto tossed a book with information on Akatsuki collected by his organization onto the grass before Naruto. Yamato was confused, as unlike Orochimaru, Akatsuki did not target Kabuto and told Kabuto that it was useless to negotiate collaboration with Konoha using the book as gift. Kabuto explained that he was an orphan with no parentage, identity and village and had been at a loss of his heritage and belongings especially after Orochimaru’s death. His past meeting with Naruto had given him a hint to search for his own identity for Naruto insisted his own identity as Uzumaki Naruto instead of being Kyuubi despite of being discriminated in the village when he was young. With that hint, Kabuto took in what was left of Orochimaru into his body and regained a new self. Orochimaru was known as a symbol of reincarnation and his body part was consistently trying to take over Kabuto. Kabuto planned to overcome this new power to get back at Sasuke. After which, he would fight Naruto. Naruto attacked Kabuto and Yamato tried to trap him with his wood technique but Kabuto dodged and escaped, promising to meet Naruto again next time.

Other place, Deldara was pleased and was assuming Sasuke to die in the bomb attack when Sasuke emerged from the smoke with a giant snake surrounding him.

Omake: Shizune and Ton Ton were trying to find money for Tsunade’s gambling debt and entered the bookie den where Suigetsu had attacked not too long ago. She passed a bookie that had been hit unconscious by Suigetsu earlier and entered the room to find the other two bookies nursing their wounds. She asked them to borrow her money with Ton Ton as a collateral. When she received the money, she fled, Ton Ton running fast behind her. The bookies screamed and wailed of their unlucky day.

Naruto Shippuuden #123: Clash

Sasuke demanded to know whereout of Itachi. Sasuke activated his Sharingan. Deldara had been unhappy with Itachi whose power was contributed by his heritage. Deldara and Sasuke fought. Deldara made use of C1 and C2 bombs against Sasuke who used Chidori and curse mark stage to fight.

Deldara thought back the time when he was introduced to Itachi, Sasori and Kisame when he first joined Akatsuki. Deldara showed them his bombing ability that he stated was an art. Itachi activated his Sharingan and challenged Deldara to a duel. If Deldara won, he would be allowed into Akatsuki. Itachi had tricked Deldara to use his technique on himself with his Sharingan. To Deldara, Itachi was high above him in terms of ability. Deldara was overwhelmed.

Back to present, Deldara sworn not to lose to an Uchiha. With that, he attacked Sasuke even more with a giant bomb in the imitation of Deldara himself. He had invented it himself to kill Itachi. Sasuke was shocked.

COMMENT: The graphic is same as the one that did Hidan and Kazuku Arc fight vis Shikamaru, Kakashi, Ino, Chaoji, Naruto, Sakura and Sai. Too little contrast and too bright. I’d prefer the anime team that does episode #119 - #122. Poor Deldara has been fooled by Sasuke’s gentjutsu the whole time. Tobi aka Uchiha Madara is a 100% back stabber, pretending to act close to Deldara but lured him to death instead.

Naruto Shippuuden #124: Art

Deldara’s giant bomb exploded. Things around it including Sasuke disintegrated. Deldara was pleased. But he suddenly sensed the presence of Sasuke who attacked him from behind with Chidori. He had seen through Deldara’s trick. The one who had been disintegrated was just his gentjutsu trick. He demanded to know Itachi’s whereout. Deldara appeared from the giant bird and the one Sasuke struck was just a clay clone. Deldara had trained his left eye to counteract Sharingan. His clone began to bloat while it trapped Sasuke. Deldara left the giant bird but Sasuke left the trap using Chidori. Deldara fell to the ground while Sasuke’s form disintegrated. While Deldara was overjoyed, he sensed Sasuke’s chakra again. Sasuke punched him in his face. Sasuke had counteracted his C4 bomb using full body Chidori. Sasuke explained that lightning element was superior to Deldara’s Earth element. Deldara used clay snake to trap Sasuke’s legs. Deldara removed his shirt, revealing a seal on his shoulder and he started to pull on it, revealing another mouth that chewed more clay. Deldara transformed, preparing to detonate himself with Sasuke. Across the land, animals sensed danger. Meanwhile, Deldara detonated himself, his explosion spread across the forest.

COMMENT: Watching the entire Deldara – Sasuke fight in one shot because I have no desire to watch one at a time. I’m not a Sasuke fan anyway. Episodes without Naruto is boring.

Phantom – Requiem for the Phantom #23: Decision

Mio saw Renji watching the ball game thinking deeply until his classmate broke his thought. Later, Renji and Eren discussed their plan. Other place, Lizzie was unhappy when Cal could not been found and asked from Sycthe who knew nothing. She thought of her first meeting with Cal who was taken by Sycthe to be trained as assassin. She set off looking for Cal. On the street, Mio and Renji walked discussing of Cal’s punching of him that was witnessed by Mio the other day. He told her that it was nothing and had been resolved. They parted. Mio returned home to find Cal waiting for her and she took her off on her bike at gunpoint. She wanted to tell Mio Renji’s secret. Lizzie faced them on the road. Mio was hand cuffed to the bike while Cal talked to Lizzie. Lizzie questioned Cal if she hated Renji so much and warned Cal there was lines she should not cross. Cal asked Lizzie why she had been so kind to her and Lizzie told her that she did not want Cal to become an assassin. Cal pulled out her musical hand watch. Lizzie thought of McCuuen who had lost her loved one and then Cal. Lizzie told Cal that she did not want to shoot her. The music stopped and there was a gunshot. Lizzie did not shoot and Cal shot her. Cal drove off with Mio. Lizzie laid on the ground thinking back of the past and wondered why her gun was getting heavier.

In an abandoned house, Mio wanted Cal to explain. Cal contacted someone via Mio’s handphone. Cal told Mio that Renji was her previous trainer and lover. She told her that Renji was an assassin and also Godoh Daisuke (Mio’s brother)’s killer. Mio asked for Cal’s goal and she told her that she wanted to have a death duel with Renji. Later, Renji received a call from Cal who told him of Mio in her hand. Meanwhile, Godoh group was shocked to find Mio’s bodyguards dead. Elen was informed of the matter by Renji. Sycthe was being grabbed by his collar by head of Godoh’s people. Sycthe promised to protect Mio. Same time, Elen told Renji that she would kill Cal and to save Mio. She knew Cal’s target was Renji.

Naruto Shippuuden #118: Formation

Sasuke transformed into curse seal level and counteracted Juugo’s attack. He reassured him that he was getting him out of the place.

Juugo recalled his past when he leaped across the night killing people and burning the houses. When he recovered his consciousness, he slipped into panicky. The next day, he acted normally, chatting with animals around him. One old man warned Kimimaru of a demon of name Juugo who had destroyed a village single-handedly. Kimimaru ignored him and continued his way. Meanwhile, Juugo entered a cave; a dog followed him to witness his craziness. It ran past Kimimaru who entered the cave. Inside the cave, Juugo hid in darkness, warning Kimimaru from approaching him. He had his curse seal on him.

Back to present, Juugo found resemblance of Kimimaru on Sasuke. Sasuke told him that he was not here to fight him. Juugo attacked Sasuke who dodged quickly each time. Meanwhile, Suigetsu reached Karin and told her off for luring him to the wrong direction. They argued. Karin told Suigetsu of Juugo’s craziness. She told him that Juugo had gone to Orochimaru hoping to correct his urge to kill. Same time, Juugo and Sasuke were running through the corridor, fighting. Flashback, Juugo attacked Kimimaru who held him back with his bones. Kimimaru had invited Juugo to go to Orochimaru’s lair. Juugo told Kimimaru of his killing urge and Kimimaru offered to control his killing urge to ensure Juugo’s carefree spirit. Back to present, Juugo and Sasuke were still running. Flashback, Kimimaru told Juugo that some of Juugo’s curse seal would be infused into Kimimaru and he was not afraid to be killed in the process. Back to present, Juugo was upset over Kimimaru’s departure while he fought Sasuke. Suigetsu interfered. Juugo remembered Suigetsu. Suigetsu told Juugo Sasuke’s name and he was surprised. Suigetsu fought Juugo. Sasuke held them off with his snakes. Karin was impressed with Sasuke’s skill. Juugo’s killing impulse faltered and he locked himself into his cell in fear of killing people. He begged them to leave him. Karin told them that Juugo had difficulty suppressing his killing urge. Sasuke told Juugo of Orochimaru’s death and the collapse of the hideout. He offered to stop Juugo’s killing urge himself. Karin told Suigetsu of Kimimaru who was the only one to stop Juugo without being killed. Sasuke told Juugo that Kimimaru had died because of him. Juugo recalled Kimimaru had mentioned Uchiha Sasuke before and had told Juugo that Sasuke was like his reincarnation. That was Kimimaru’s last words. Back to present, Juugo opened the door to meet Sasuke.

Outside in the open, Sasuke told Karin, Suigetsu and Juugo his goal to kill Uchiha Itachi. Karin was shocked for she knew Itachi was Sasuke’s elder brother. Suigetsu knew Karin’s intention was to get close to Sasuke. Karin punched Suigetsu’s head. Suigetsu and Juugo also promised to stay close to Sasuke. Suigetsu was targeting Kisame’s sword. Juugo followed because Sasuke was like Kimimaru’s reincarnation.

In Konoha, Naruto was shocked that Sasuke had no intention to return to Konoha. Jiraiya told them that Sasuke planned to kill Itachi. Other place, Sasuke named his team Hebi. In Konoha, Naruto wanted to find Itachi who was target of Sasuke. Other place, Sasuke officially stated his goal was to track Itachi.

Omake: Sakura asked slug how she went to the place and she related her sad tale travelling slowly to reach Sakura and others. Sakura was shocked. Sakura wanted Naruto to apologise to the slug. Back in office, the slug told Tsunade that she had tricked Sakura for she had travelled via teleporting technique. Sakura sneezed.

Naruto Shippuuden #121:The Ones Moving Out

Kisame captured Roshi – four tailed (Yonbi) Juuchuriki and met Itachi. The rain fell. Itachi told Kisame to be gentle with Yonbi Juuchuriki who was an elderly man. As they walked, Kisame told Itachi that Kyuubi had to be sealed last to ensure balance. Itachi stated they had to catch Kyuubi last to avoid conflict with Konoha that had connection with other villages. Just then, the leader summoned them and their consciousness gathered in a dark place. Pain told the others of Orochimaru’s death. They talked of Hidan and Kakuzu’s death as well as Naruto and Kakashi’s strength to kill Kakuzu. Deidara and Tobi quarreled and Pain told them to shut up. They talked of Sasuke who had killed Orochimaru. They knew Sasuke was gathering members, one of them was Suigetsu. They knew Sasuke might target Akatsuki where Itachi was a member. Pain told them to bring Yonbi so that they could seal with Sanbi. Itachi and Kisame regained their consciousness and made their way back to the headquarter with Yonbi Juuchuiriki.

In Konoha, Tsunade and others discussed on hunting of Itachi. Kakashi came along to join them. He told them to be calm. Other place, Suigetsu was nagging of heat while Karin scolded him. They reached a place. Meanwhile, Itachi and Kisame reached the place where the statue was summoned to seal the Bijuu. Yonbi and Sanbi were gathered before it. All Akatsuki members began the sealing. Same time, Team Hebi entered an isolated town and entered a building owned by Uchiha clan. They were greeted by talking cats. Sasuke asked for supplies for upcoming battles. They were ninja cats. They led them to Old Lady Cat. The old lady’s granddaughter got a curtain for Juugo’s clothing while the old Lady was upset over Itachi and Sasuke’s status.

In Konoha, Naruto was walking, upset when Jiraiya asked him out for a meal. At ramen stand, Jiraiya told Naruto that Kakashi was arranging more than a squad for Itachi’s capture so that Sasuke would return. Naruto thought of his promise to Sakura. Jiraiya thought of his talk to Orochimaru that a ninja should never give up. Back to present, Naruto’s attitude reminded Jiraiya of himself.

In Akatsuki cave, the sealing of Sanbi and Yonbi was completed. Deldara was determined to kill Sasuke for killing his target – Orochimaru as well as paying back Kakashi and Naruto for what they did to him. It was raining as Team Hebi stood in the open, preparing to go.

In Konoha, Naruto, Sai, Sakura and Kakashi, as well as, Hinata, Shino, Kiba and Yamato prepared to move. Tsunade and Jiraiya were pleased. The target was to catch Uchiha Itachi.

COMMENT: Opening changes to movie 3 version.

Omake: Naruto and the crews had finally finished their dubbing work and Naruto tried to ask Sakura out for ramen but was rejected. Hinata tried to talk to Naruto but kept stammering. Tsunade, Kakashi and Jiraiya asked her of her script that only comprised of ‘Naruto-kun’. Her different expression of saying was recorded and she yelled in embarrassment.

Naruto Shippuuden #119 - #120: Kakashi Gaiden

Part I

During the Genin test, Kakashi once told Team 7 - comprising of Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura that team members who failed to protect their comrades were worse than trash.

Flashback. It was more than 10 years ago during the Third Great Ninja War. Sandaime and the two Counciliars discussed of strategies and decided Kannabi Bridge had to be destroyed. Namikaze Minato was assigned to lead young Kakashi, Obito and Rin for the infiltration mission. It was a clear day. Obito was rushing through the woods and landed on the meeting point, late. Kakashi told him off and emphasized that ninjas who were late and did not follow the rules were considered slums. Obito rebuked that Kakashi always talked about rules and stated the most critical thing was self-control. Minato was not concerned of lateness and believed in Obito’s excuse that he was late because he was helping an old lady along the way. Rin also tried to tell them not to fight. Kakashi told them that they were both too soft on Obito. Kakashi reminded all of them that it was an important day for him.

Along the way, Minato told them that the day was also the moment as Kakashi was officially promoted to Junnin. Minato gave Kakashi a kurai while Rin gave him a medical first aid bag. Obito told Kakashi that he had nothing to give him and reminded him that he was from elite clan – Uchiha and he would surpass Kakashi one day the moment his Sharingan awakened. Minato began to explain their mission. Kakashi was to lead Rin and Obito to destroy Kannabi Bridge. Minato would go on separate ways to attack the ninjas of Hidden Stone village as diversion for them. In the forest, they were attacked by a ninja who created 17 clones after them. Kakashi showed off his imperfect but new technique - Chidori. Minato saved Kakashi in time with his Thunder God technique and killed the enemy using his teleporting technique. Rin healed Kakashi. He told Kakashi off for being too stick to rule and also warned him not to use Chidori again as it could not allow user to see his enemy. He also told Obito to be strong and not just mouthing his words. He emphasized teamwork.

That night, Obito approached Minato who told him of Kakashi’s past when Kakashi’s father – Sakumo, also known as ‘White Fang’ of Konoha committed suicide because he rather saved his comrade than to accept a mission that resulted in loss to both Fire country and Konoha. Sakumo had felt betrayed when his entire comrades criticized him for his act. Since then, Kakashi stuck rigidly to rules.

Next day, before they went on separate ways, Obito acknowledged, although unwillingly, Kakashi as his captain. Minato smiled. At the river area, the two comrades of the earlier defeated stone ninja stalked Kakashi, Obito and Rin. After diverting Kakashi and Obito’s attention, they kidnapped Rin. Kakashi advised against saving Rin in order to accomplish their mission fast, Obito quarreled with him and emphasized saving Rin was top priority. He told Kakashi that he believed Hatake Sakumo was a real hero. He stated he would rather be a slum by breaking the rules than to be worse than slums by not saving his comrades. With that, Kakashi and Obito went on separate ways.

Part II

In other place, Minato reached the four remaining Konoha ninjas who were severely outnumbered by the stone ninjas. Minato asked them to throw kurais at the enemies while he handled the rest. One Konoha ninja told others to watch the fight of ‘Yellow Flash’ of Konoha. In the woods, Kakashi was thinking back Minato, Rin and Obito’s words. Other place, outside a cave where Rin was held captured, Obito accidentally alerted the enemies when he tried to slap himself awake. One of the two stone ninjas attacked Obito but Kakashi held him off. In the process of the fight, Kakashi’s one eye was blinded and Obito after thinking of Minato’s words and in his urge to protect Kakashi, awaked his Sharingan and killed the enemy. Together with Kakashi, they entered the cave and fought off the last stone ninja. Kakashi released Rin from gentjutsu. The stone ninja made the cave ceiling collapse, planning to bury Kakashi, Obito and Rin alive. Obito was crushed under a stone when he pushed Kakashi from a falling boulder. Kakashi cried over his past decision not to follow Obito’s advice. Obito told Rin to use her medical ninjajutsu to transfer his Sharingan eye to Kakashi’s blind eye. Kakashi came out of the ruins and killed the third stone ninja. When it was over, Obito talked Rin into leaving the place without him. Just then, the other stone ninjas arrived to finish off Kakashi, Obito and Rin. Kakashi managed to pull Rin out as the debris fell over Obito. Kakashi and Rin cried for Obito who regretted not spending more time when he finally became friend with Kakashi and also not able to confess his love for Rin.

Out in the open, Kakashi told Rin to leave while he held back the enemies, promising to protect her with his life for Obito had loved her dearly. Rin confessed her feeling for Kakashi who could not return her affection because he had once attempted to abandon her when she was held captured. With his improvised Chidori upon help from Obito’s Sharingan, Kakashi faced off the approaching enemies. He yelled Rin to run.

When Kakashi came to, he found Minato next to him. Minato told him that Rin had told him everything and he had took down the enemies. Rin stood in the wind, watching the night skies. Next day, Kakashi, Minato and Rin destroyed Kannabi Bridge, ending the Great Ninja War. Obito’s name was engraved on the memorial stone while Kakashi was eventually well known as ‘Kakashi of Sharingan’.

Naruto Shippuuden #115: Zabuza’s Blade

Sasuke entered a dark room facing a glass container that trapped Suigetsu. He broke the glass and released him. Suigetsu thanked Sasuke. Sasuke wanted him to go with him to take Juugo and Karin. Suigetsu remarked that he did not like them. Sugetsu clarified their relationship and that killing Orochimaru did not mean Sasuke was stronger than Suigetsu. He remarked that he was only kidding and walked away. Sasuke walked in the woods and Suigetsu approached him in a pool of water. He wanted him to tell him where Zabuza’s sword was and he would follow him. Sasuke agreed.

They reached the Great Naruto Bridge which Suigetsu commented a weird name. Sasuke was thinking back the time when he faced Zabuza with Team 7 in their first rank B mission. Kakashi was barely a match to Zabuza. Back to present, Sasuke led Suigetsu to Zabuza and Haku’s grave. But the sword was no longer there. Sasuke guessed someone had probably taken it away. They walked the bridge. Along the way, someone hit against Suigetsu but was frightened by Sasuke’s glare. In the restaurant, the waitresses were stunned by Sasuke’s good look while he and Suigetsu rested. Suigetsu asked around for Zabuza’s blade. The girls commented to check with Tazuna. They went to find him but he had left with his grandson for a long time. His worker stated a man who aimed to catch Zabuza took the sword. Along the way, Suigetsu met the same man who hit him earlier and Suigetsu attacked him for answers on Tenzen who took Zabuza’s sword. He pointed a castle in the woods. That night, Sasuke confronted Tenzen in his bed with his sword, telling him to look for Suigetsu. Tenzen got up and found him missing.

Next day, the soldiers set off. Sasuke and Suigetsu had a game but they were not to kill a man as a rule. Sasuke got down and fought the thousands of men without killing anyone of them. He and Suigetsu entered the castle where arrows shot them. Sasuke destroyed them with his fire. He vanished, leaving Suigetsu to fight Tenzen’s men alone. He watched from a tree. The men fell like water drops. Suigetsu ran into the castle, defeating more men. He confronted Tenzen. A man rushed in with Zabuza’s sword and slashed Suigetsu into half. Suigetsu rejoined himself easily. The man slashed some more but with no use. Suigetsu asked who killed Zabuza and Tenzen accused Sasuke of being the culprit. Suigetsu laughed at Tenzen’s joke while Sasuke tossed him a drink. Suigetsu grabbed the sword easily. He threatened Tenzen. Sasuke told him to knock it off. Suigetsu cut the pillars and left with Sasuke. Tenzen was shocked for Sasuke was the one who killed the famous Orochimaru. As they left, the castle collapsed. Suigetsu knew Sasuke had planned everything from the beginning to test Suigetsu’s strength. Suigetsu agreed to work for Sasuke. They set off. Other place, a girl defeated a prisoner and she sensed someone else’s chakra.

Naruto Shippuuden #116: Guardian of the Iron Wall

Along the sea surface, Suigetsu asked Sasuke his reason to gather men and he told him that he had a goal. Suigetsu wondered why Sasuke chose Karin who was follower of Orochimaru. Suigetsu disliked Karin’s personality. Sasuke commented that she had special ability. They approached the Southern hideout. There, Karin detected their chakra. Suigetsu and Sasuke approached the hideout. There was no tight security. They reached the gate and Suigetsu slashed the door open. The prisoners were restless in the jail. They saw Sasuke and were thrilled to see him without Orochimaru proving Orochimaru’s death to be true. Meanwhile, Karin confronted Sasuke and Suigetsu. She clarified rumor of Orochimaru’s death. Karin stated Suigetsu’s chakra was disgusting. Sasuke told her to talk with them in a room and she agreed. In the room, Sasuke told her to go with them. He knew Karin had been killing prisoners to control rumors via hand of her spies. Sasuke admitted his killing of Orochimaru and told Suigetsu to release the prisoners so that Karin would follow them. Suigetsu left the room to follow Sasuke’s order. Sasuke threatened to ask someone else for help. Karin reconsidered. Meanwhile, Suigetsu confirmed Orochimaru’s death with the prisoners. He wanted the prisoners to spread Sasuke’s decision to free them all over the world. In the room, Karin agreed to Sasuke’s request. She removed her glasses and sat with Sasuke, trying to seduce him. Shortly, Suigetsu returned to find the door locked from inside. Karin refused to open the door and tried to get close with Sasuke.

Sasuke knew Karin’s ability to sense chakra since the time when they first cooperated to catch 118 prisoners who attempted escape. She found them instantly and pointed their location to Sasuke. Sasuke caught them instantly. He had told her to be his eyes. She did. The prisoners were recaptured within short time. Karin was surprised that Sasuke did not kill anyone of them. Sasuke was only interested in killing Itachi. She was amazed by Sasuke’s chakra and wanted to hug him but he snapped her from her thought to recapture the rest of the prisoners.

Back to present, Suigetsu broke through the door and told Sasuke that they were setting off. Karin insisted to go with them. Suigetsu smirked. They set off to find Juugo. Karin was shocked. They went on. Karin was thrilled to go with Sasuke but was not happy with Suigetsu’s company. In the Northern hideout, Juugo was counting and guessing who his next victim would be.

Omake: Radio host – Naruto interviewed Kakashi. Sakura gave him script of a reader’s comment about Kakashi’s bad points and stupid nicknames. Kakashi refused to go for the interview again.

Naruto Shippuuden #117: Juugo of the Northern Hideout

By the sea, Karin told Sasuke and Suigetsu the Northern Hideout was for human experiment. In the Northern Hideout, Juugo was still counting. In Konoha, Sakura looked for Naruto who was still having instant ramen for his breakfast at noontime. She told him that Tsunade wanted to see them. At the sea, Karin snapped at Suigetsu. In the Northern Hideout, Juugo recalled his meeting with Kimimaru who could control the curse mark easily. Kimimaru’s words calmed him down. Back to present, Juugo missed Kimimaru. At the sea, Suigetsu stated he could achieve his goal by following Sasuke. Karin told that Juugo was the original source of curse mark. In the hideout, a man with curse mark was killing the prisoner wards. In Konoha, Tsunade was displeased at Sakura and Naruto’s lateness. Naruto was delighted to see Jiraiya and they talked, ignoring Tsunade and Sakura. They almost walked away until Tsunade and Sakura punched them. Other place, Suigetsu was tired. Karin criticized him. Sasuke noticed that all watchers were missing. One of them appeared and collapsed. He called them for help as the prisoners went on rampage at the rumors of Orochimaru’s death. One prisoner with curse mark activated stormed down at them. Sasuke defeated him with a slash. Karin ran after him while Suigetsu approached the defeated man. Juugo activated his curse mark in his cell. Karin commented to Sasuke and Suigetsu that all prisoners were out of control as they gathered before them. When she confirmed Juugo not among them, Sasuke told Suigetsu not to kill as they both attacked the prisoners. Karin found the keys to the prison cell for Juugo.

In the building, Karin misled Suigetsu to the wrong direction and pulled Sasuke with her to the right one. Suigetsu was bemused to find them both missing. In his cell, Juugo decided to kill woman if she entered the cell. Outside, Karin unlocked the door but Sasuke wanted to go in first and told her to stand back. Juugo decided to kill the man and he attacked Sasuke. Meanwhile, Suigetsu turned back to the place where he passed before and saw a prisoner. He told him that if Juugo were released, they would die. Suigetsu stomped his stomach. Meanwhile, Juugo stomped Sasuke into the wall. Karin screamed. In Konoha, Naruto and Jiraiya had a hit on the heads. Jiraiya told them that Sasuke had killed Orochimaru but had no intention of returning to Konoha. Naruto and Sakura were surprised. In the Northern hideout, Juugo evolved further and hit into Sasuke harder. Sasuke evolved his curse seal and blocked Juugo’s attack. Juugo was impressed that Sasuke held the curse seal well. Sasuke stated he had no intention to fight Juugo. He wanted to talk to Juugo.

Omake: Naruto went to Ino’s lucky draw booth and after two tries to get two candies. He tried his third try with prize of Icha-Icha book instead of first prize of ramen cup noodles for a year. He threw them away, feeling disappointed. Kakashi who went for the lucky draw was disappointed to find his special prize of Icha Icha books taken away.

COMMENT: The Sasuke and Suigetsu fighting scene against the prisoners were stupid for the prisoners did not fight back at all. The communication between Naruto and Jiraiya was funny.

One Piece Issue #555: Oars and His Hat

Ace yelled Oars to stop his expansion size as it made him an easy target to the enemies but he ignored as he continued his offensive against the Marine army. Hebi-Hime joined in the battle against the Marine with her charming attacks. Meanwhile, Oars was severely injured in the attacks. Oars thought of his friendship with Ace. Oars wanted to take on a Shichibukai. He attacked but the Shichibukai laughed as he cut Oars’ leg. One Marine was not pleased, as he wanted Oars’ corpse. Ace was worried for Oars as Oars fell before his eyes.

Bleach Issue #371: Kingdom of Hollows

Barragan screamed at his opponents, swearing never to forgive them. He called them insects. Flashbacks, Barragan sat on his throne in Hueco Mundo, bored when Aizen, Gin and Kaname turned up, killing one of Barrangan’s men easily. Aizen asked Barragan if he was the king of Hueco Mundo. Barragan asked for Aizen’s identity. Barragan welcomed them for they could kill his boredom. Aizen showed Barragan his sword. Aizen asked Barragan if he was satisfied with what he had and lured him to aim something higher. He promised Barragan more power and a new world. Barragan laughed and called them insects. With that, he ordered his men to attack Aizen, Gin and Kaname. Aizen activated his bankai and destroyed them instantly. Barragan was shocked. Aizen stated this was Barragan’s world. Aizen taunted Barragan dressing in black, poising to fight and looking like a Shinigami. Barragan yelled him to shut up and vowed to kill Aizen. Back to present, Barragan shattered. Afar, Aizen watched with little interest. The vizard stated that he had noticed Barragan’s bones not rotting unlike other things and had long suspected he might have a power that kept his power away from himself and therefore he sent his own power inside his body. He was pleased to learn that his theory was right. In the end, Barragan too was just a life and also feared death, trying to keep age at bay. The other vizards asked the other Espadas why they couldn’t spare a word for Barragan’s death. Sharker commented they were not the type to avenge for each other.

Naruto Issue #461: Kumogakure Vs Taka

Sasuke went ahead to fight Raikage and his escorts. With information from Konoha, Raikage and his men knew Sasuke’s fighting element. Suigetsu was not pleased. Juugo and Suigetsu backed Sasuke up while Karin hid her chakra detection ability so as to hide her location in order to track Danzo later. Suigetsu’s Zabuza sword broke when he blocked Raikage’s blow. Same time, the samurais called for back up against Sasuke.

In the meeting conference area, Ao confirmed that Danzou did not activate his Sharingan at the moment. Danzo stated he would have executed the traitor Hyuugu member who had given Ao one of the Byakugan eye. Mizukage was cautious of Sharingan as it was the eye technique that had controlled Yondaime Mizukage last time. Mizukage had fought the previous Mizukage (also Sanbi Jinchuuriki) that time. Mifune stated his loss of faith in Danzo for using such technique. Fuu and Torune asked Danzo to relief one of them to retrieve the Sharingan but Ao did not allow them to leave. Danzo ordered Fuu and Torune not to fight. Gaara thought of Naruto and asked the other kages when they threw away everything to be above themselves by acting without taking into account of the ethics of the situation that akins to accept that they had given up. Mizukage found Gaara being honest while Tsuchikage stated Gaara arrogant.Temari asked Gaara how they were going to do about Sasuke who originally was from Konoha but was now in line with Akatsuki. The girl escort of Tschikage wanted to see how Sasuke fought, as he was the one who defeated Deidara. Tschikage allowed her but warned her not to interfere for it could cost her life. Akatsuchi stayed behind to take care of Tschikage.

Meanwhile, the battle between Team Taka and Raikage with his men continued. Juugo transformed into his curse seal level and let out his murderous impulse. Raikage warned them not to push their luck.

07-Ghost #21:

Several soldiers were unhappy with Ayanami’s decision until Miroku showed them the Eye seized from Teito that was believed to determine the new king of lost Raggs Kingdom. He stated that the true person who could control the Eye had to be eliminated before he became a threat. In the church, Teito was nervous of the exams. Teito was shocked to find his strength probably fully utilised, as he could not activate his Zaiphon. In the dark, the ‘examiners’ smirked. Teito was anxious. People around him, except his roommate taunted him. Ouida offered to pass some of his Zaiphon to Teito. Teito thanked him. The students proceeded to the basement where the exams would be taking place according to their numbers. They entered a gate that closed behind them. The place shook. The two old men examinees could walk through the place normally. Teito ran after them and so was his roommate, followed by others. In the next room, they had to copy and answer the questions appeared on the wall. Hakurren answered a question and entered the door on the wall. Teito went with him. Within the dark room, they were chased by monster and Teito found another question.

In the air, Ayanami’s flight flew towards the church. He was looking forward to the reunion. In the dark room, Teito tried to answer the question and Hykuuren wrote it down. The monster vanished. They fell into the next location, within the water. It was a Kor waterly land. Hykkuren destroyed one Kor and obtained another question. Other candidates were having difficulty destroying the Kor. Teito tried to save one candidate who was drowning. Out in the surface, the nuns were sweeping and talked about the last time Frau and Castor worked as partners in the exams. Nearby, Frau, Castor and Laborator were talking. Castor and Frau quarreled. Meanwhile, Teito and Hykkuren answered 99 questions. Teito went to help carry two old men. Hykuren was feeling uneasy as he walked the rope with Teito. A mouse bit the rope and both of them fell. Hakurren helped Teito and the two men. They reached the door of the 100th question that wanted them to defeat their own partners. Teito wanted to give in to Hyukkren and they both quarreled. They cooperated and ran to the door of defeated together. Within the door, Lance’s image appeared before them and attacked the Kor behind them. He told them that they had passed for they were the ones who offered their hands to others.

Naruto Shippuuden #114: Eye of the Hawk

The battle between Orochimaru and Sasuke went on. Orochimaru, in his snake form, dived at Sasuke. Flashback, Orochimaru was visiting his parents’ graves with Sandaime. He found a white snake that Sandaime stated symbolized good luck and rebirth. He stated his parents probably had reborn somewhere. Some time later, Orochimaru witnessed the death of Tsunade’s younger brother in an explosion and the grieving of Tsunade who was accompanied by Jiraiya. Another flash, Orochimaru witnessed Tsunade’s another grief when Dan died before her eyes. Feeling the fragilty of human, he did experiments for immortality. Another flashback, Anko asked him of white snake that he stated regeneration strength. Orochimaru was planning of cursed mark. Another flash, Orochimaru witnessed young Itachi’s strength when he was practicing beyond human limit. He was fascinated by power of Sharingan possessed by the Uchiha clan. He went to check the forbidden jutsu of rebirth scroll. Another flashback, Sandaime caught him doing forbidden jutsu. Sandaime was aghast. Another flash, Jiraiya tried to fight sense out in Orochimaru. After leaving Konoha, Orochimaru joined Akatsuki to achieve his aim. One day, Itachi joined the same organization. One day, Orochimaru attacked Itachi, wanting to take over his body but Itachi struck back with his Sharingan. Orochimaru failed. Another flash, Orochimaru took over a new body and smirked as Kabuto accompanied Sasuke to him.

Back to present, Orochimaru laid injured on the ground while Sauke withdrew his curse mark. Orochimaru got back to his feet and thrilled as his snake poison paralyzed Sasuke. In the mind world, Sasuke was surrounded by Orochimaru’s flesh that had enveloped the two previous victims. Orochimaru tried to take over Sasuke. In the lab, Kabuto was preparing medicine for Orochimaru. As he walked, he saw Orochimaru on the ground, Sasuke standing next to him. He wondered if the ritual was over. Sasuke saw him and called him. He walked past him without a second look. Kabuto asked for his identity. Sasuke showed him replay of Orochimaru’s rebirth ritual. Sasuke corrupted Orochimaru’s dimension with his Sharingan. He devoured Orochimaru’s soul instead.

In Konoha, Anko stabbed a white snake and touched her curse mark. On the mountain of Hokages, Naruto watched the weather, having a bad feeling of it. Same time, Jiraiya and Tsunade found the sky to be blood red. Other place, Kisame saw Itachi watching the sky before they both walked off. A shooting star fell. In the lair, Kabuto was shocked to learn that Sasuke killed Orochimaru. Sasuke walked away.

Dragon Ball Kai #19:

Buruma, Gohan and Kiririn reached the planet. Elsewhere, some random aliens were carrying dragon balls to Freeza while his follower updated him on whereout of Vegeta. Freeza sent Kiwi to fight Vegeta. Meanwhile, Buruma was tempted to return to Earth. So was Kiririn. But Gohan was confused as Vegeta could get dragon balls first. Gohan detected someone and saw it to be someone else. They were two Freeza’s scouts. The scouts had been ordered to kill anyone on the planet. Kiririn had a bad feeling about it. The two scout aliens confronted them, preparing to attack them. They shot the spaceship. Kiririn ordered Gohan to release his ki. The aliens were speechless by their power levels. Kiririn and Gohan defeated the aliens easily. Buruma was bemused because of the spaceship. Freeza was informed of two defeated men by outsiders who had lower power levels than Vegeta. Freeza ordered for their destruction when they met them next time.

In the hospital, Goku was glaring at a glass of water, turning it into floating water in the air until Chi-Chi called him. Chi-Chi was taking care of Goku in hospital while worrying for Gohan. So was Goku. Meanwhile, Vegeta was fighting other alien on other planet. Vegeta had learned how to control his power level through his experience on Earth. The other aliens could not believe Vegeta’s high power level. They knew Vegeta targeted dragon balls to gain eternal life. At the battlefield, the opponent alien was fearful of Vegeta and attacked Vegeta when he was not concentrating but Vegeta was not affected due to his high speed. The alien – Kiwi tried to flee. Vegeta caught up with him and defeated him easily with a punch and a blow. Freeza and the other aliens prepared to take action. Vegeta planned to get the dragon balls so that he could kill Freeza. Freeza and others set off. Same time, Vegeta took off too. Meanwhile, Gohan, Kiririn and Buruma reached the planet. Buruma was having difficulty adapting to the environment. Kiririn detected a ki from afar.

COMMENT: Freeza and his underlining sound like Orochimaru and Itachi from ‘Naruto’ respectively. Will check out the seiyuu later.

Dragon Ball Kai #20: The Ambitious Vegeta

From the cave, Burma saw more enemies flying past and Kiririn asked her to check dragon raider to locate dragon balls’ location. She checked and found them moving. Kiririn knew it and called Gohan. Gohan sensed powerful enemy moving and they knew this enemy was more powerful than Vegeta. Kiririn was worried, as it was more difficult to get dragon balls from such people. Kiririn and Gohan planned to take a look. Burma told them to return soon. They set off while Burma decided to update others on Earth. On Earth, Roishi updated Goku that people more powerful than Vegeta was also on the planet. Another ally came to talk to Roishi and Goku in the hospital and fed Goku with Senzhi. Goku recovered immediately. Goku tossed off to change so that he would join Gohan and others on the other planet via a spaceship fixed by Burma’s father. It was the one used by Goku’s elder brother. Goku flew off via his cloud from the hospital window. Roishi knew Goku was looking forward to fight powerful enemy as this was in the blood of Saiyajin.

Naruto Shippuuden #113: The Serpent’s Student

In the lair, Orochimaru’s body was reaching its limit and Kabuto stated it was three years since the Chuunin exam. Flashback of Orochimaru’s attack on Team 7 in the Forest of Death during the Chuunin exam. Back to present, Kabuto was looking at Sasuke’s data card. Orochimaru was confident that Sasuke would surpass Itachi. Kabuto was tasked to prepare the next medicine for Orochimaru’s reincarnation technique.

In Konoha, Tsunade was unhappy to learn that Sanbi was missing and the ANBU ninjas dead. She ordered her men to investigate. In his lair, Orochimaru thought back of the time when he attacked Itachi when they were team members in Akatsuki. Back to present, Orochimaru emitted aura of a snake and he panted that he felt great at thought of having Sasuke’s body. Kabuto proceeded to change the medicine. Orochimaru laughed in his room. Kabuto knew his body was reaching a limit and smirked at Orochimaru’s strong will and spirit. He was confident that everyone would bow to Orochimaru in no time. In his room, Sasuke was thinking back the time when he watched Itachi trained in the woods. Back to present, he struck his chidori in the right spots and slashed the illusion of his elder brother. He left the room. In Konoha, Shizune reported of Sanbi’s disappearance and apologised for not able to seal Sanbi back then. Tsunade knew someone had made contact with Sanbi and suspected it to be Akatsuki. In the woods, a snake was watching a family of weasels.

In his lair, Orochimaru was smirking and laughing over his going to get achievement when Sasuke suddenly struck down his door with his chakra. Sasuke stated he had nothing more to learn from Orochimaru. Flashback, Sasuke did not kill the ninjas he defeated under the setting sun. Sasuke wanted to save the killing on Itachi. Sasuke approached Orochimaru and stated Orochimaru was weaker than he was. Sasuke did not forget how Orochimaru had intimidated him during the Chuunin exam, as well as, Orochimaru’s attempt to bind him with the curse mark. Sasuke knew he wanted to seek revenge through using Orochimaru. Sasuke stated he did not like the way Orochimaru did things such as performing experiments on human beings as if they were toys for selfish reasons. Sasuke recalled Itachi’s words to measure his ability by massacring the entire Uchiha clan. He exclaimed that Orochimaru made him sick. As he struck, Orochimaru revealed his true form as the snake and attacked Sasuke. Sasuke and Orochimaru fought. Orochimaru sent multiple snakes at him. Sasuke activated his cursed mark level with wings. Out in the wild, a hawk caught the snake. In the lair, Orochimaru attacked.

Naruto Shippuuden #109: Counterattack of the curse mark

Kakashi and others were anxious when there was still no sight of Naruto. Sai and Shizune wanted to take Yuukimaru to a safe place but he refused. Sakura was confident that Naruto and Guren would return and Yuukimaru finally left off with Sai. Sakura, Shizune, Hinata and Ino commenced the sealing of Sanbi. Kakashi and others stood at ready as Sanbi began to emerge. Later, Sai took Yuukimaru to a safe place by the woods and he passed him some drink. Yuukimaru commented that Sai could tell people’s mood. Kabuto’s men attacked Sai and Yuukimaru. Sai leaped to face off them after taking Yuukimaru to a safe spot. The waterman was able to shoot translucent stuff to trap him while the smoke him struck him with his gun. The third man confronted Yuukimaru. Kabuto was thinking of Yuukimaru’s potential as well as Konoha ninjas sealing process at other area. He recalled his communication with Orochimaru on conflict of Konoha and Akatsuki. Kabuto was planning to use Yuukimaru’s remaining strength to send Sanbi wild so that it could destroy the Konoha ninjas.

In the woods, the three villains planned to abandon Rinji who commented they were just pawns. Yuukimaru was with the people. Rinji laughed as the three villains had counter effect of the curse marks that sent wrinkles to their flesh. The three villains were aghast. Rinji showed them the entrusted drugs Kabuto had given them and they were forced to swear their loyalty to him. Rinji tossed the drug to them and they took it. Rinji tried to force Yuukimaru to summon Sanbi again against his wish. Yuukimaru finally gave in for once. At the lake, Sanbi emerged. Kakashi and others stood by. An ink fish appeared, leaving message to them on Guren’s men attack on him and Yuukimaru. Other place, Kiba and Akatmaru pulled out of the soil. They went to find Tenten and Lee. A giant metal thing appeared and opened to reveal Tenten and Lee. Tenten had managed to protect Lee with her summoned weapons in time. They planned to warn others. Meanwhile, brown mist appeared. Kakashi and others rushed to cover for Shizune and others. Guren’s men appeared and attacked them. Yamato created wood to shield others while they attacked the enemy. Shino faced off the waterman with his drugs. Kakashi faced off the third masked enemy. Akatmaru told Kiba and others of Sai who lay unconscious at another place. On the cliff, Rinji forced Yuukimaru to take the drugs. He did it to get Guren back. On an isolated place, Guren woke to find herself already out of Sanbi. She saw the unconscious Naruto and slapped him awake. They were both relief to find themselves out of Sanbi. Meanwhile, the battle of the two sides went on. The third masked enemy and the waterman were more powerful against Kakashi and Shino’s attacks. Shino was being kicked back. The smoke man shot smoke dragon at Yamato and trapped him. Kakashi knew Sai’s report of their power-up to be true. Same time, Ino was facing her limit. Shizune heard a voice. On the cliff, Yuukimaru emitted strong chakra. From afar, Guren and Naruto saw and were worried for Yuukimaru.

Omake: Yamato the host interviewed Shino of his clan that specialized with insects. Shino wanted to demonstrate his skills but the show had ended.

Naruto Shippuuden #110: Memory of Guilt

Hinata and Ino were shocked to see slugs on their shoulder. Sakura explained that it was Tsunade’s summoning and the slug explained while transferring Tsunade’s chakra to them. Rinji was not pleased to see Tsunade’s summoning’s interference and he ordered Yuukimaru to use more power. Meanwhile, Guren asked Naruto if she would be forgivable for she was the one to kill Yuukimaru’s mother. Naruto told her to keep thinking of Yuukimaru and protect him. Guren decided to become a fool like Naruto. They moved towards Yuukimaru’s direction. At the lake, Hinata sensed the overwhelming chakra. She and others knew the serious consequence of the situation. The slug increased the chakra. Rinji was not happy with the Konoha ninjas’ persistence and forced Yuukimaru on.

In the woods, Kiba, Lee, Sai and Kiba saw the smoke. Tenten pulled Lee back from acting rash. On the lake, Kakashi knew the enemy was using Yuukimaru to enrage Sanbi. He worried for Shizune and others’ condition. He fought the masked enemy who attacked him with flames and shadow clones. He then trapped Kakashi with a bind but it was a clone. Kakashi used raiki against him. Same time, Yamato used wood against the smoke man who shot more dragon smoke. Yamato was forced to use water to shatter his smoke and succeeded by trapping him with wood next. Same time, Shino faced off waterman who trapped him with his sticky stuff. Shino used insect formation at him with hints from Hinata who had earlier protected herself with her jutsu and had also known the waterman’s fighting style through her Byukugan. With the hints, Shino controlled his insects in spiral way and the waterman screamed. Shortly, Sai and others met up with Kakashi and others. They asked for Naruto who was still missing. They decided to find and protect Yuukimaru later. Same time, the waterman spouted water tentacles towards his comrades. Meanwhile, Shizune and others were still doing the sealing. On the cliff, Yuukimaru was reaching his limit.

Rinji decided to resort to use another drug. He tried to inject it into Yuukimaru, but Guren and Naruto stopped him. Yuukimaru was in deep daze. When he came to, he was happy to see Guren again. Both of them confessed their constant thinking of each other. Naruto faced off Rinji. Rinji told Yuukimaru of Guren’s sin of killing his mother years ago. Naruto tried to stop him but Guren did not mind anymore. Rinji laughed and told Yuukimaru that Guren was the one who took away his mother’s life in the first place and her attempt to use him in the first place. Rinji wanted Yuukimaru to use his hatred to send Sanbi at Guren. Angered, Naruto punched Rinji. Guren confirmed the truth. Naruto reassured that Guren had regretted her act and had changed since. Guren admitted and asked for his forgiveness. Yuukimaru showed her the crystal camellia and stated his feeling for her never changed. Guren wept and stated she would be by his side forever. Yuukimaru stated he liked her. Naruto was happy. Rinji taunted their bond and weakness. He attacked them but Naruto blocked the attack and slashed Rinji’s face to reveal that of Kabuto’s. Kabuto decided to kill Naruto. Naruto refused to forgive him for arranging everything in the dark.

Omake: At the ramen stand, Naruto and Sakura asked Hinata and Kiba of Shino’s mysterious hidden eyes.

Shino appeared and removed his googles showing them insects. They screamed.

Naruto Shippuuden #111: Shattered Promise

Sanbi began to emerge to the surface while Shizune and others worked hard on the sealing. Kakashi and others were walking when the giant monsterous waterman with his comrades emerged behind them planning to attack. Lee and others were shocked. They began to attack. Kakashi and Sai commented they were gross. On the cliff, Kabuto told them that Rinji had became his collection since their last conversation in the woods when Rinji threatened to betray Kabuto. Kabuto had planned to make use of Yuukimaru’s rage to control Sanbi but the plan failed.

Naruto attacked Kabuto for playing with people’s feelings. Kabuto told him of the future clashes of all hidden villages and Orochimaru had set his sight on that violent future by making use of Yuukimaru. Naruto told Guren to protect Yuukimaru and to leave. Naruto faced off Kabuto who activated a jutsu that sent Rinji’s living corpse after Guren and Yuukimaru. Guren used her crystal to protect Yuukimaru while she fought Rinji. Yuukimaru had a slight flashback of his late mother’s back before she was killed. Rinji was able to shatter Guren’s crystal with his sound bats. Guren was soon hit to the ground and spattering blood while Guren attacked Yuukimaru. Guren grabbed Rinji to save Yuukimaru. She sealed Rinji together with her crystal. Naruto was shocked as the entire crystal of Guren and Rinji fell towards the lake. Yuukimaru tried to hold it back but failed. He screamed her not to go as he recalled Guren’s back. The crystal camellia began to crack. Naruto was angry. Yuukimaru emitted the chakra. Naruto screamed worriedly at Yuukimaru. In the lake, Sanbi forced through the seal. Shizune was shocked. Yuukimaru’s rage forced Sanbi to break through the seal completely. Hinata and others were swept into the lake. Kakashi and others were struggling with the waterman monster. Sanbi swam towards Yuukimaru’s direction. Kakashi and others managed to send the villain into the lake and prepared their next move.

Naruto watched Sanbi while Kabuto commented on Yuukimaru’s sadness. Naruto tried to stop Yuukimaru but could not get through the chakra. He tried to force through but was hit against the wall. He collapsed. Sanbi sent chakra balls at the lake and forest. Kabuto laughed and egged it on. Naruto got to his feet and watched Sanbi creating havoc. He created clones against the Sanbi. His rasengan could not work and he knew he could not use rasenshuriken. He summoned his two toads for the water technique. One of the toads advised his situation. Naruto remembered Yamato’s comment on wind element and thought of fire element. One of the toads had fire element and asked him to work with his wind element. Naruto remembered a concern that fire was useless against water. The toad remembered toad oil and other toad went to get it to boost fire element. Naruto was delighted. He tried to call Yuukimaru again and decided to carry out the promise Guren failed to complete. The toad returned and they plan to attack Sanbi’s eye. They commenced. Same time, Sanbi emitted chakra ball at them. Both sides attacked. The fire burnt Sanbi. Sanbi trashed around and submerged back to the lake. Naruto commented that the work ended and the toads vanished. Yuukimaru finally ended his chakra and Naruto picked him up with the cracked crystal. He stated that he and Yuukimaru would go home together.

Naruto Shippuuden #112: A Place to return to

It was dusk when the Konoha ninjas returned to the resting place, all of them injured. Naruto enquired Sakura of Yuukimaru’s condition. Shizune and Hinata were treating him. Hinata knew Yuukimaru had already sustained serious injuries and could no longer control Sanbi. Naruto asked Shizune who told him that Yuukimaru would live. Naruto and Sakura were glad Yuukimaru could make it. Naruto felt guilty for what Yuukimaru had went through just because of his words. Naruto apologised to Yuukimaru. Tsunade’s slug reported to Tsunade who ordered others to return for it was no longer meaningful to continue. Meanwhile, ANBU would watch over Sanbi while they thought of the next plan. Kakashi told the others. They were concerned but had to retreat the next morning. Naruto was dozing by Yuukimaru’s side. In the lake, Guren heard Gozu’s voice. Gozu still remembered the time when young Guren gave him water while he was in Orochimaru’s laboratory. He wanted to return his gratitude. In his room, Yuukimaru watched the crystal. Naruto woke to see Yuukimaru missing. He rushed out to find him. Kakashi and Yamato could not sleep. In the woods, Naruto ran, worried for Yuukimaru. Just then, he heard Yuukimaru’s tune and ran towards it, calling for his name. He angrily punched the soil and caught sight of the complete crystal camellia that no longer had any crack. He knew Guren was fine.

Next morning, Kiba was shocked to see Naruto no longer concern of Yuukimaru’s safety and ranted while others packed their things back to Konoha. Lee and others suggested finding Yuukimaru. Shino, Sai, Yamato, Kakashi and Naruto did not care anymore. Sakura and others were surprised of Naruto’s reaction. ANBU came to take over. In Orochimaru’s lair, Kabuto updated him with Guren’s death and others. Orochimaru did not mind. His body had reached its limit but he did not mind as he was preparing to take over Sasuke’s body.

On the cliff, Guren, Dozu and Yuukimaru watched over Naruto and others, as the Konoha ninjas left for Konoha. At the lake, Deldara killed the ANBU ninjas with his bombs before attacking Sanbi. Deldara told Tobi to catch Sanbi but Tobi only fled with Sanbi at pursue. Deldara was forced to catch it all by himself using his bombs. In her office, Tsunade was told of the Konoha ninjas’ return by her slug. When her slug vanished, she had a bad feeling as her hand started to shiver. Sanbi was hit unconscious by Deldara’s attacks. Tobi, who did not do a thing, taunted Deldara’s art comments and was hit by the pissed Deldara instead. Deldara told Tobi that Sanbi that had no Jinchuuriki was weaker than other bijuu, which had. Tobi did not listen and was hit again.

Meanwhile, Naruto and others reached Konoha. Sakura asked Naruto of Yuukimaru and Naruto showed her the complete camellia crystal. Naruto placed it on the ground and stated they would also wish for Sasuke’s return by thinking of him too. Sakura agreed and they both walked away.

COMMENT: Finally complete the remaining 4 filler episodes of Sanbi with the non-canon characters – Guren, Yuukimaru, Rinji and others. Have to rush to complete it as I’ve been aching to watch the original manga plot in the anime. Already, I’ve skipped to watch Kakashi Gaiden as well as Uchiha hunt episodes.

Naruto Shippuuden #108: Guidepost of the Camellia

Kabuto was moving through the woods, his followers crashing behind in joy with power of seal curse. In the Konoha base, Sakura told Kakashi and others of Naruto and Guren’s possible location within Sanbi. Yuukimaru told them that Guren was fine based on the status of the crystal. Kiba was worried for Naruto who could be fighting with Guren. Yuukimaru wanted to find Sanbi. Kakashi wanted to rescue Naruto from Sanbi. The teams were mobilized to carry out the mission to save Naruto and to seal Sanbi.

Later, the Konoha ninjas set off. Kiba reminded Shino to get Naruto back. Shino followed Sai and Kakashi on the boat. Hinata, Sakura, Ino and Shizune set off to seal Sanbi. Within Sanbi, Naruto clones were attacked by mini Sanbis. Original Naruto knew it and told Guren. Naruto saw the approaching mini Sanbi followed by semi large Sanbi. Guren planned to fight their way through. She sent her crystal shuriken but with no effect. Naruto was also hit back by Sanbi. So was Guren. Naruto activated clones and carried Guren out of the surrounded condition. In the woods, Kiba, Lee and Tenten were still on the move. Lee was confident that Naruto would be fine. Just then, Kabuto’s men attacked them. They attacked with more strength. Amidst the mist, Yamato, Kakashi and others with Yuukimaru were moving through the lake. Yuukimaru wanted lots of camellia. Within Sanbi, Naruto and Guren were bickering about Orochimaru and Yuukimaru. Naruto warned that Orochimaru was only using people. Naruto moved around to check and was covered in mist. He fell into illusion and saw Sasuke. In his illusion, Sasuke attacked Naruto and cut his cheek. Naruto yelled him to stop and Guren sensed Naruto’s voice. She explored and saw Sanbi’s fog that showed illusion. She heard Naruto calling Sasuke’s name and ran down to find him. Amidst the mist, she found herself before Yuukimaru’s mother again. She wanted to ask her for forgiveness and vowed to protect Yuukimaru for her. Guren wept. Meanwhile, Naruto was fighting Sasuke and told him of his home in Konoha. Guren slapped him awake. Sasuke vanished and so was his wound on his cheek. Guren stated she had seen Sasuke in Orochimaru’s lair and Naruto asked on his condition. She was surprised of his seriousness to get Sasuke back. She sniggered at Naruto’s foolishness. Outside, Kakashi and Yamato dived into the lake and found Sanbi. Yamato trapped Sanbi and Kakashi tried to stab Sanbi with raiki, wishing for Naruto’s return. They swam back to surface and Sai sent camellia into the lake and into Sanbi’s hole created by Kakashi.

Meanwhile, Guren told Naruto that she was the one who attacked and killed Yuukimaru’s mother as well as Yuukimaru’s village even after she saved Guren. Guren had been ordered by Orochimaru to carry out the massacre. Her emotion returned after she met Yuukimaru. She vowed to protect Naruto so that Naruto could protect Yuukimaru for her. Suddenly, they saw camellia, followed by Yuukimaru’s music from outside. He was trying to give them a way back. Suddenly, mini Sanbi attacked them and Naruto used rasengan to create a larger hole for them to get out of Sanbi.

Omake: In the record room, Naruto was complaining his inability to reach the mic when Yamato ranted his loss of his script. Kabuto, Ino, Kakashi and others taunted him. Kakashi returned Yamato’s script back with plenty of graffiti. Yamato protested.

COMMENT: The plot of this episode is not so boring as compared the previous few, especially the part when Guren related her sins to Naruto and Yuukimaru’s attempt to guide them back to the surface.

One Piece Issue #554: Admiral Akainu

Marco turned into fire phoenix and attacked Kizuru. Akainu attacked the giant iceberg from White Beard’s side with volcanic projectiles and the ice evaporated without a trace. The pirates tried to stop the commanders. One of the Marine commanders wanted Marco’s corpse as he was Oars’ descendent. The battle became intensified, as the pirates fought the Marine army. One war ship sank in the process.

Roy was aghast when Riza failed to response to his call over the mic. In the hotel, Ling told them the matter was regarding Lab 5 and Al left off, promising to return. Other place, Gluttony strangled Riza but her dog arrived and saved her in time. Together with another of her team member, they shot Gluttony but with no effect. Roy arrived in time and burnt him away. Riza was furious because Roy had put himself into danger of being suspect. Riza later thanked Roy as they walked through the staircase. Al arrived and asked Roy if the incident was related to Hughes’ death and he agreed. They went together. Barry arrived and Roy told him not to miss sight of his original body. Riza told Al and Roy of Gluttony’s ability not to die and Al told them he was Homunculus. Roy and Riza were shocked. Al told them Homunculus could regenerate themselves. Meanwhile, Gluttony got back to his feet. Roy, Riza, Al and Barry as well as others reached a lab. Barry stormed in and Roy and others took this as excuse to infiltrate the building. They were forced to spill up in the darker part of building and came across Lust. Havoc Jean was shocked to see his new girlfriend a Homunculus. Havoc told Roy that he did not tell her of anything related to work. She admitted she knew Hughes. Roy shot her but with no effect. She showed them her Philosopher’s Stone within her chest. Havoc and Roy were shocked. Roy tried to fight her but she was too fast. Roy broke down water into hydrogen and oxygen and attacked Lust. Meanwhile, Riza was on her move.

Later, the place was badly burnt with explosion of hydrogen. Suddenly, Lust appeared and stabbed Havoc. She stood up and regenerated herself. Roy shot her and pulled the Philosopher’s Stone from her chest, trying to heal Havoc with it. Lust disfigured attacked Roy. Outside the building, Bradley arrived and entered the building, knowing Roy and others were inside. In the dark, Lust prepared to kill Roy. Havoc lost consciousness. Riza and Al found Barry looking down at his decayed body. He told them that with absence of original soul, the body would also die. Suddenly, Lust appeared before them. She prepared to kill another candidate sacrifice. Barry attacked her but his soul was shattered instead. Lust told Riza that she had killed Roy. She was stunned. Riza shot her in anguish but with no effect. Riza wept and fell on her knees. Al shielded Riza and transmuted weapon without the circle. He used his body to take Lust’s blow and urged Riza to run. He vowed to protect her, as he did not want anyone to die before his eyes. Roy appeared and attacked Lust with his flames. He praised Al’s words. Roy had sealed his wounds with his fire earlier. He burnt Lust who screamed in agony. When flames died down, she disintegrated. Her Philosopher’s Stone vanished. Roy collapsed and thanked Al for protecting Riza. He told them that Havoc was still alive. From the dark, Bradley left. It was night when Al returned to the waiting Winry. Winry welcomed him back and yelled at Al’s damage. At the battlefield, the original Barry’s body messed up the seal mark on Barry’s armor, killing him forever. Other place, Armstrong and others saluted as Ed found his father standing before his mother’s tombstone. He was shocked.

Shangri-La #18:

Karin was shocked that Kuniko planned to burn Tokyo. She told them that due to their limited budget, she could rent the materials to them. Kuniko and Momoko were surprised. Karin wanted them to let her know the date and location for action as well a having Kuniko’s knife. She agreed. Karin noticed Momoko’s earring. She started asking Karin what she knew of the earring and Karin was forced to take them to meet Mikuni and Sayoko. Momoko and Sayoko were shocked. Karin introduced Kuniko to Mikuni. Momoko asked Mikuni of her earring. She had similar earring. Kuniko was surprised. Mikuni told her that the earring belonged to her mother. Momoko told Kuniko that the earring was actually Kuniko’s mother. This meant Kuniko and Mikuni were related. Mikuni told them of Miko whom Hiruko currently possessed. Kuniko and Momoko were shocked. Hiruko was still screaming but became quiet when she saw Momoko. She started to talk in Miko’s conscious. Later, Kuniko and Momoko returned to see explosion in Doumo. The poisonous fungi had spread and the young major with others were still searching for more.

In Atlas, Ryoko was told report about the weed. Meanwhile, Mikuni asked Sayoko of her possible elder sister – Kuniko. Sayoko refused to acknowledge Kuniko. In her room, Karin knew there was one more of the knives. In Doumo, the people were having meeting when Kuniko’s grandmother turned up. Kuniko asked her of the earring. She was aware of Kuniko’s intention to burn Tokyo. She wanted to get into Altas to meet someone in return of knowing Kuniko’s plan. She told Kuniko that the latter knew of her. Later, Kuniko talked to the young major. Next day, Momoko, Kuniko and Kuniko went to Altas to see Ryoko. The young major was also there but in hiding. In the office, Kuniko told Ryoko that they were going to burn Tokyo to the ground. Ryoko was not supportive to accept refuges. Young major activated plan B to force Ryoko to agree by activating a bomb inside building. Kuniko challenged Ryoko what she would do if she had internal threats like this if she refused. Ryoko finally agreed to their terms.

Naruto Shippuuden #107: Strange Bedfellows

Ino was ranting while Lee was exercising. Hinata asked Kakashi who just returned with others for Naruto while Sakura asked on identity of Yuukimaru. Yuukimaru was sent to rest. Sakura worried for Naruto and Ino tried to consort her. Kakashi led Hinata, Sai, Hinata, Shizune and Yamato to find Naruto. The rest would protect Yuukimaru. They went on separate ways. In the hut, Ino and Sakura healed Yuukimaru while Tenten, Shino and Lee kept watched. Shino noticed his insects being weakened due to Sanbi chakra. Within Sanbi, Naruto woke confused and remembered himself being swallowed by it. Same time, Guren was moving and met Naruto. She fought him but collapsed before she did. Naruto approached her.

In the cave, Guren’s subordinates scolded Rinji for leaving them to fight alone earlier. Rinji examined them and walked away. They found him acting weird. Suddenly, Kabuto appeared and stared at them. He lied them that they were lying soon. They begged him to save them. He lured them into accepting the curse seals.

On the rooftop, Lee was exercising. In the hut, Sakura was still thinking of Naruto’s words to give Yuukimaru a place where he could return to. Just then, Yuukimaru woke and he panicked after finding his camellia crystal gone. Flashback, Guren found herself standing in the snow watching Yuukimaru and his mother together. She screamed as Yuukimaru’s mother turned into Orochimaru. Guren woke to see Naruto looking at her. He had bandaged her wound. He told her that they were the only two being swallowed by Sanbi. She was determined to get out. She wanted to defeat Naruto while inside. Naruto saw themselves being surrounded by mini Sanbi. He pulled Guren into run. She pushed him away and ran along with him. In the hut, Yuukimaru found his camellia crystal. He told Sakura and others that it was given by Guren. Sakura remembered that Naruto had said Yuukimaru was being used. In Sanbi, Naruto and Guren managed to dodge the pursue. Guren wondered aloud why he helped her. Naruto questioned her of her intention to use Yuukimaru. She yelled that Konoha already had Kyuuki and still wanted Sanbi. Naruto confessed he was the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki. Guren was shocked. Naruto told her that he could not control the Kyuubi power without hurting his friends. He regretted telling Yuukimaru about the place to return phrase. Guren was surprised. Naruto told her that he did not want Yuukimaru to become like him. Guren told him that she was taking Yuukimaru’s mother’s place for Yuukimaru to return to. Naruto decided to look for exit. He created thousand clones to find the exit.

At the cave, Kabuto gave curse seals to Guren’s men and they screamed as they evolved. He commanded them to get Yuukimaru back. Meanwhile, Kiba and others were still looking for Naruto. In the Sanbi belly, thousands of Naruto clones set off. Guren was surprised and followed, hoping to reach Yuukimaru. In the hut, Yuukimaru knew Naruto and Guren were in Sanbi’s stomach, still well and alive. He told Ino and Sakura.

Dragon Ball Kai #18:

Goku and others stayed in hospital to recover. Bulma entered telling them to watch news on TV. A Saiyajin spaceship was found and Bulma was confident to get it with her remote control. She tried and the spaceship exploded. Bulma was aghast and started blaming Karinin. Mister Popo arrived and gave them a spaceship. Bulma was confused as Popo needed her help in spaceship. She was shocked to see him travelling on carpet and he took her to the spaceship. Other hospital occupants were surprised. In a flash, Bulma and Popo reached a highland. He led her up the cliffs and showed her a spaceship that appeared abandoned long ago. She went to examine it. It was found by Kami 100 years ago. Kami could not remember how it got there except his parents had promised to take him back via the spaceship but never returned. One day, Kami found it. Popo opened the machine using password ‘Piccolo’. Bulma was told that something terrible happened on Namek planet and Kami’s parents sent Kami to Earth. Bulma realised she needed Namek language to operate it. Popo knew how to speak. He tried and it worked. They tried Jupiter and reached there in a flash. Bulma was delighted.

In the hospital, Bulma told others of the good news. But Popo did not want to go with them. Bulma was shocked. Popo volunteered to teach them the language. Bulma wanted someone to go with her. Gohan wanted to go but Chi-Chi tried to advise him against it. Gohan insisted he was fine. Chi-Chi protested but Gohan insisted on going. Chi-Chi was shocked of his rebellious and insistence. Gohan stated his intention to be useful. His grandfather supported Gohan. Bulma reassured Gohan would be fine. Bulma worked on a translation machine over 10 days. When the day arrived, Gohan and Chi-Chi came to Roshi’s place to join Bulma. Chi-Chi put Gohan in formal suit. Karinin, Gohan and Bulma boarded the spaceship. Bulma was in bad mood. She took off in a rush before Karinin and Gohan could take their seats. The spaceship took off to space. Bulma stormed off to change her clothes. Gohan had prepared his fighting suit similar to Piccolo’s. Bulma had changed into something normal for she felt stupid for wearing space suit alone. All of them watched the scene as the spaceship moved on.

Code Geass R2 #21:

Taya and C.C. sat before the awaking Suzaku. Taya told Suzaku that her identity now was Lelouch and Nunnally’s mother. Other place, Kallen wanted to make sure of Lelouch’s status or she would find it impossible to move on. In the illusion world, Lelouch demanded to know why his father – the emperor did not save his mother when she was assassinated. They began to talk of human masks of identity. Outside the sealed cave, Taya (Lelouch’s mother’s soul) borrowed C.C.’s strength and entered the illusion world. Taya collapsed in Suzaku’s arm while C.C. watched. In the world, Lelouch was shocked to see her late mother standing in front of her. The emperor explained that Lelouch’s ‘death’ was created to allow a lie for the emperor to gain the throne in his competition from his brother. She put her soul into Taya who unfortunately witnessed the incident. V.V. was the one who pulled the trigger on Lelouch’s mother. Lelouch was angry with his parents’ abandoning of him and Nunnally as well as the pushing of blame on the late V.V.

Outside the hideout, Suzaku asked C.C. to send him into the illusion world. In the world, Lelouch was shocked to learn that Nunnally’s blindness was just an effect of geass effect. Lelouch was also being made use to lure into gaining geass from C.C. Just then, C.C. and Suzaku arrived. The emperor and Lelouch’s mother activated their plan via C.C’s forehead mark. All over the world, sky changed. The emperor planned to remove human kind’s fake masks. Lelouch’s mother was mad with happiness, as the new world was about to begin. Suzaku asked Lelouch if he was going to use Nunnally as an excuse for his aim and Lelouch admitted he did it for himself. Lelouch told his parents that he did not want that kind of new world. He demanded to know who his parents were really concerned after they neglected their children. They insisted Nunnally and Euphy were now in the gentle world. Lelouch prepared to use his geass on the illusion world system. Lelouch’s mother tried to stop him and Suzaku stopped her. The system began to change and reversed. C.C. told them they were foolish. Lelouch’s parents began to vanish. Lelouch’s mother was surprised that C.C. did not vanish. C.C. and Lelouch explained that the parents did not understand humanity, moreover, meaning of Nunnally’s smile. The emperor flew to grab Lelouch’s neck. Lelouch firmly refused their world and they both vanished. Meanwhile, the prince also sensed it. In the dark real world, C.C. questioned Lelouch and Suzaku of their plan. Suzaku aimed his sword at Lelouch, remembering him as Euphy’s enemy.

One month later, the world was back to normal. The chairman of school was reporting news of the emperor. In the palace, Lelouch appeared as the new emperor. Everyone thought it was a joke and demanded his arrest. Suzaku appeared and hit all the attackers away. Suzaku had become Lelouch’s Knight of Zero. Lelouch used his geass and forced everyone to accept him. Everyone did. C.C. watched sadly. In a room, Conelle was surprised that the prince was willing to let Lelouch take the throne for he had been living through betrayals.

Code Geass R2 #22:

With Lelouch’s reign, all old Britainne troop was eliminated. The Black Knight believed Lelouch was on their side. Orange returned to serve Lelouch who was still wary of presence of other royalty who might revolt. At the same time, his popularity also grew. C.C. was not surprised with Lelouch’s suspicion. Meanwhile, the researchers of Britainne were still doubtful of Lelouch’s rule. They decided to talk to Nina who was Suzaku and Lelouch’s ex-classmate. Meanwhile, Nina was in hiding with her ex-classmates for her part to invent the weapon that caused many deaths. Other place, Suzaku and Lelouch had a talk before they parted. Just then, Lelouch received news of the former Knight of Rounds’ attack. Suzaku moved forward to eliminate the enemy. The former knights accused Suzaku of his betrayal. One of the opponents activated his geass that helped him to foresee Suzaku’s movement. Lelouch reminded Suzaku that his battle was on the mass media. Lelouch’s past geass on Suzaku wanting him to live on made Suzaku more powerful and eliminated the Knight of One. The other knights of Rounds were shocked. The Black Knights were happy with Lelouch’s stand. Nina and others were surprised that Lelouch declared Area-11 Japan.

Meanwhile, Lelouch and C.C. as well as some followers travelled all over the world seeking for alliances including Black Knights. Kallen went to greet him as well as the other people. Lelouch ignored his other ex-classmates when he met Kallen. He pretended he only saw her the first time. The world was watching him. Once out of media’s focus, he talked to her as old friend. She queried him of working with Suzaku. She asked him what she thought of her and she kissed him. She bided him farewell and left. He whispered farewell to her as she left. Later, at the formal conference, Lelouch sought alliance with Kagura and after putting up shield against his geass, she and others queried him of his intention. The other Black Knights finally understood Lelouch’s ambitious intention. Lelouch activated his plan as Suzaku in his knightmare broke into the meeting. In the air, Lelouch’s troops were on stand-by. The others treated Lelouch as enemy. Guren was on stand-by to defeat Lelouch. Suzaku’s attack destroyed Kagura’s shield. Lelouch forced Kagura to give him an answer. Same time, Nina and other ex-classmate who tried to reach Lelouch were blocked by some Britainne’s troop. Lelouch even had the weapon invented by Nina last time on stand-by. The elder prince communicated Lelouch and told him that Nunnally was a more suitable ruler than him. He showed him Nunnally who was in fact alive and well. Suzaku and Lelouch were shocked. Nunnally declared herself as their official enemy.

COMMENT: This anime has too many unexpected turning points and drastic turns. Enough to combat Mobile Suit Gundam 00.

Naruto Shippuuden #106: Red Camelia

Guren yelled Yukimaru as he emitted his chakra. From afar, Naruto and Shino noticed Yukimaru’s act. Naruto was shocked. On the shore, Lee went to check others who were all right. In the woods, Kiba and Yamato were moving. On the lake, Kakashi and Sai were running towards the chakra. Guren’s people were also moving. Tobi was watching from afar. So was Kabuto. Guren faced Sanbi. Yuukimaru was relieved to see Guren all right. Guren was still thinking of Yuukimaru who had told her his loss of home. Guren thought of the time when she killed Yuukimaru’s mother. Back to present, Guren felt guilty. Yuukimaru told Guren to run, his hand still holding Guren’s camellia crystal. Guren was touched. Yuukimaru urged her to run but she refused. Yuukimaru collapsed and Sanbi went wild again. Guren went to Yuukimaru’s side, planning to let herself be the place where Yuukimaru could go. Rinji suddenly appeared. Sanbi same time suddenly attacked and Guren shielded Yuukimaru. Rinji told Guren that she was the one who could pull the trigger to Yuukimaru. He stabbed her waist and took Yuukimaru from Sanbi’s strike. Yuukimaru ran to Guren’s side and saw her wound. He was recalled of his mother’s death by sight of red camellia. Flashback, he screamed at sight of his mother’s corpse. Back to present, Rinji went to Yuukimaru and told him that he had to stop Sanbi for Guren could not move to defend herself. Yuukimaru began to cry. Rinji continued to urge Yuukimaru who emitted more chakra and he approached Sanbi. He emitted his chakra to stop Sanbi. His chakra formed a hole in the sky. Rinji was mad with pleasure.

From afar, Naruto knew Yuukimaru was there when Kakashi and Sai approached Naruto and Shino. Naruto ran off. Kakashi, Shino and Sai ran after him. Tobi ran off to find Deldara. At the cliff, Yuukimaru continued to immobilize Sanbi. The hole in the sky closed as Yuukimaru went on his knees, exhausted. Rinji approached Yuukimaru and was attacked by Sanbi’s strike. Yuukimaru was left hanging at side of the cliff. He was being attacked another time before he could reach Guren. But he managed to reach Guren’s side. Sanbi sent another attack but Guren managed to take Yuukimaru to a safe place. She created a crystal around Yuukimaru to protect him so that she could attack Sanbi. Meanwhile, Naruto approached Sanbi planning to rescue Yuukimaru. Kakashi and others could not get close. Naruto dodged Sanbi’s attack while Guren attacked Sanbi. She was shocked to see Sanbi aiming Yuukimaru. In the crystal, Yuukimaru fainted. On the lake, Guren used her crystal to trap Sanbi. She knew she was reaching her limit. Naruto reached Guren and saw Yuukimaru. He went for Yuukimaru. Just then, Sanbi broke through the crystal. Naruto used his shadow clones to block Yuukimaru. More of his clones attacked Sanbi. His rasengan was not effective. Guren taunted him and reminded him that there was a weakness in Sanbi. Guren was hit into water.
