Fullmetal Alchemist Issue #99

As Greed!Ling, Olivia's subordinate and Ran Fan's grandfather fought King Bradley, Bradley stabbed Ran Fan's grandfather on his forehead. Ling took over his own body and tried to save Ran Fan's grandfather. But the latter hit Ling on his neck so that Greed could take over, hence distracting Ling from trying to sacrificing his life to save the old man. Ran Fan's grandfather attempted to die with Bradley using the bombs strapped around his body but failed. Olivia's subordinate gave him a hand by pinning Bradley with his sword through Ran Fan's grandfather's body. From afar, Ran Fan sensed her grandfather's death.

In the subway, the mysterious researcher introduced himself as the one who created King Bradley and sent failure humans who did not take over as King Bradley at Roy, Riza, Scar and Ed. Ed realised the five labs were in position of the transmutation circle. To his aghast, the man activated the transmutation circle using the failure experimented men as sacrifice. At different places in the same time, Ed, Al and Izumi were dragged by dark hands of the Gate and vanished without a trace.

Shangri-La #24: FINALE

Ryoko threatened Kuniko to pull the spear with Mikuni’s live. She told them that they were both carrying Hiruko’s gene. She stated Kuniko was Himiko’s clone. Other place, Kuniko told Momoko and others that the young major was the real son of Himiko. She went on to tell them that Ryoko was planning to possess either Kuniko or Mikuni’s body as her body could not be managed forever. Meanwhile, Ryoko’s subordinates were working on something. In the dark place, Ryoko commanded MEDUSA to destroy the world. She told Kuniko that only the latter could stop MEDUSA by pulling the spear. Leaving with no choice, Kuniko pulled it. Huge force erupted. Ryoko was pleased.

Suddenly, MEDUSA became chibi again and was confronted by water from the floodgate. The others knew Karin managed to rewrite MEDUSA in the last minute. Other place, Karin apologised to MEDUSA as her pet project drowned. Other place, Ryoko was angry but had a plan to take over Kuniko’s body. Kuniko broke the spear and attacked Ryoko. Miko’s soul appeared and shielded Mikuni. Kuniko stabbed Ryoko in her stomach. Ryoko taunted her as she aged rapidly and collapsed. Meanwhile, all gates were closed. Himiko was going to revive using Ryoko’s life force. Sayoko ran to meet Mikuni. Kuniko called Sayoko to protect Mikuni – her younger sister while she went to save the situation. Momoko and others went to meet her. The three old men brought along a tool for their final battle. Kuniko was touched. All of them wished her luck and told her to return safely. In the system area, Kuniko entered the central body where a girl who looked like Kuniko faced her. She was planning to revive herself and destroy the world. Kuniko was shocked. Kuniko’s grandmother had faith in Kuniko. Meanwhile, Kuniko was fighting the lady who wanted to sacrifice human’s futures for new ones. Kuniko stated that they themselves would decide their own future as the lady multiplied herself and fought Kuniko. Kuniko drove the lady back to the system. The control was back online as others heaved a relief. Meanwhile, the form of Miko appeared before Mikuni. She told her that she could no longer be by her side for her body was destroyed. Behind her appeared all the children who had been sacrificed to balance Altas. Miko asked Sayoko to take care of Mikuni. Before she left, she hugged Mikuni. Mikuni cried. Sayoko had to slap her to wake her from her sense. Miko vanished and Sayoko thanked Miko silently.

Other place, Karin was grieving when her online friends cheered her up and appeared before her in persons. Karin showed them the MEDUSA chip stored in a small box. Chibi MEDUSA appeared from the chip and called Karin its mother. Karin was delighted. Meanwhile, people had been evacuated from the disasters and all of them finally enjoyed the new peaceful day. Kuniko, Momoko and the young major met Sayoko and Mikuni. Kuniko hugged Mikuni who wanted to call her big sister. Kuniko agreed. Kuniko told the young major that she needed a place to live and planned to create a home for everyone to live happily. It would be called Shangri-La.

COMMENT: Quite meaningful and unexpected. Unlike most animes that concentrate on battles of guys against guys while women are fodders, this anime concentrates on the fight of a girl to protect the people she treasures. Also, the main topic involves earth pollution and Internets. I would give 7/10 for plot.

07-Ghost #24:

Teito faced off Ayanami after he left the exam door and knew he was not an illusion. He vowed to defeat Ayanami with his own power. Outside, the nuns and others were rounded up while the army went in search for Teito. Castor and others planned to take action. Meanwhile, Ayanami sent Teito to the centre of the Earth with him. They fought. Frau was still waiting for Teito when Hykuuren told him of the invasion of the military. Just then, one of Ayanami’s followers – Kuroyuri appeared, wanting to seek Laborator for revenge. Frau faced off him. In the hall, some children wept in fear while the nuns tried to shield the rest. One of the church examiners faced off another Ayanami’s followers and engaged in battle. Same time, Ayanami wanted Teito to tell him location of the Paradox box and sank his finger into Teito’s chest. Castor and Laborator meanwhile tracked down a priest who had spied for the military under threat of his family members. Castor let him off and told him to start anew. But two Ayanami’s followers appeared and killed the priest. Laborator knew Teito was in danger. The two men fought Laborator and Castor. Other place, Kuroyuri sent dark attacks at Frau.

Same time, Ayanami’s arm was being severed for attempting to unseal Teito’s sealed memory done by Vetrag – one of the 7 ghosts. But his arm regrew back. Teito attacked Ayanami. In the hall, the army tried to force the commoners to reveal location of the vessel for the Eye. Outside, Castor and Laborator were still fighting the military people. Others were also fighting in other places. The dark flowers on Kuroyuri began to grow, transforming sadness to hatred. In the centre of earth, Ayanami taunted Teito for being weak. They fought. Ayanami wanted Teito to have more hatred. Animal Mikage was hit and Teito managed to save it in time. He apologised to it and resumed his battle against Ayanami, stating he fought to protect people he treasured. Other place, Frau told Kuroyuri not to let his hatred rule over him and he sent bright light at him, eliminating the dark flowers on him. Outside, Laborator and Castor continued their fight against their opponents. In the centre of earth, Ayanami intended to kill people in the church to force Teito to unleash the sealed memory within him.

Shangri-La #23:

While the young major held Kuniko at gunpoint, Ryoko led Mikuni away. Kuniko fought the young major but Momoko arrived and told her that he was doing all these for his mother because she had been held hostage by Ryoko’s men. During the earlier fight, Momoko managed to save Sayako in time when she leaped down from the top of staircase. Upon knowing everything, Kuniko offered to save the young major’s mother for him. The young major wanted to protect everyone. With that, he and Kuniko left together. Meanwhile, Ryoko led Mikuni to Hiruko’s lake where she was to place the three knives seals. When the three seals gathered, the lake opened up. Ryoko’s men turned up to stop her. Sion listened to Ryoko’s words to betray his elder brother and aimed a gun at him. He told him that all the time, only Ryoko gave him tasks. Ryoko shot Sion but Sion’s brother shielded him. Taking the chance, Ryoko grabbed Mikuni and left. Sayako ran after them. Meanwhile, Sion’s brother scolded Sion for being foolish. Just then, Kuniko and others arrived. They told the young major that his mother was all right. He confirmed with his mother.

Down the place, Sakayo tried to persuade Mikuni not to listen to Ryoko. Sayako fought Ryoko. Ryoko taunted Sayako and her past. Outside, the young major and Kuniko and Momoko and others tried to force the door open. One of them used explosion. Same time, Ryoko told Sayako that she had already invented cure for her dead daughter but did not announce it. She sent Sayako down the pit. Mikuni screamed. Ryoko led Mikuni to ground zero. Kuniko’s grandmother and the chairman had gone there before. Back to present, they decided to do something about it that involved Himiko and the spear. Hiruko was created then as part of system. Ryoko was also created as part of the system. Just then, Sion ran to Kuniko’s grandmother and chairman. Elsewhere, Kuniko found her boomerang able to slice the door. The young major apologised to Kuniko for his earlier act and she forgave him. She entered the door. Momoko was confident. Kuniko’s grandmother, Sion and the chairman arrived to join Momoko and others.

Other place, Karin and the three old men were working hard to stop MEDUSA. One of the online friends turned up with a plan. They began the plan. Meanwhile, the online icons confronted MEDUSA. They fought. Karin was sent into another dimension where her parents’ icons faced her. Her connection to MEDUSA was cut off. Meanwhile, Karin was delighted to talk to her parents who told her that they had died three years ago. Flashback, the plane they rode crashed after they bided farewell with little Karin. MEDUSA plan was to keep Karin prisoner in the house. Her parents vanished, taken over by Ryoko’s image. Karin was shocked. Meanwhile, the death of Karin’s parents were revealed and found by the three old men. Karin wept as she thought of her parents. She did not want to be alone. Ryoko wanted Mikuni to lift the spear but the latter refused to obey her. Ryoko threatened to kill her. She finally obeyed. Meanwhile, MEDUSA continued to create chaos. Suddenly, Kuniko appeared and attacked Ryoko before Mikuni could touch the spear.

Shangri-La #21:

Karin and others were shocked as MEDUSA went out of control. Kuniko was in confusion as the explosion went berserk. Other place, Mikuni and Sayoko stood among the ruins while Mikuni wept over Miko’s death. Sayoko pulled Mikuni to safety. Karin refused to evacuate from her room despite the tumors around her. She tried her best to put MEDUSA under control. Karin’s men pulled her to safety. Sayoko checked Karin’s status and assumed her dead. Meanwhile, Kuniko, Momoko and the young major were examining the ruins after the destruction caused by MEDUSA. Karin was upset and wished for a meal with her parents. Other place, Mikuni wanted to know who had killed Miko. Just then, some escorts turned up to fetch Mikuni and Sayoko to Ryoko so that Mikuni could become the Atlas successor. Mikuni agreed so that she could exact revenge for Miko. Meanwhile, Kuniko confronted Karin and demanded action from her but she ignored her. Kuniko demanded her to take responsibility for her action to stop MEDUSA. Karin told her that all system was down.

Other place, the Chairman discussed with Kuniko’s grandmother whether Kuniko could deal the situation. Kuniko meanwhile allocated roles to Momoko and pulled Karin away. Momoko was reminded how she used to pull Kuniko around. Kuniko and Karin reached the old men’s place and were glad to find them alive. Kuniko asked them to join force with Karin to stop MEDUSA, as it would cause world collapse. They finally agreed and brought them to an underground room where computers and equipments were kept. They checked the carbon network and Karin worked on the system and linked up her network friends who were also at their ends to stop MEDUSA. MEDUSA had used typhoon to shield itself. Kuniko had a plan to go higher than sky. Karin began to execute her plan with her network friends to break through the firewalls. The old men also helped. Kuniko was glad. The outer space satellite was hacked to attack MEDUSA but the carbon coefficient was still going down, meaning MEDUSA was still alive. Ryoko meanwhile prepared to meet someone and she told Shion.

Meanwhile, Karin told Kuniko that MEDUSA had taken over the military network of the world that could cause nuclear war. Kuniko was shocked and wanted to stop MEDUSA. She urged Karin on and asked if Zeus could stop MEDUSA. Karin told Kuniko of Mikuni’s plan to inherit Atlas to revenge Miko. She also told the young major and Momoko of their identity with Mikuni as possible successor of Atlas. Momoko stopped Karin and Kuniko’s quarrel and told them to work together. Meanwhile, in a place, Mikuni was told to walk up the staircase alone. Ryoko waited for her at the end of the staircase.

Shangri-La #22:

Mikuni walked up the staircase, panting heavily. Sayako watched anxiously. Other place, the old men were studying the statistics with Karin working with them. Meanwhile, Kuniko, Momoko and the young majo reached the place where Mikuni and Sayako were moving. The three of them were faced with fireshoots. Sayako tried to stop Kuniko from hindering Mikuni. Momoko assisted Kuniko to fight Sayako. Mikuni walked on, determined to avenge for Miko’s death. Karin was thinking of her parents in face of Judgement day and prepared to stop MEDUSA from destroying the world. Ryoko’s men were also working to use Zeus to stop MEDUSA. One of them was shocked to learn that Ryoko did not bother the destruction of the world and threatened his colleague to stop MEDUSA. Momoko held back Sayako so that Kuniko could go after Mikuni. Meanwhile, Mikuni was still walking when Kuniko warned her of the possibility that the world would be destroyed. Sayako turned up and hit Kuniko unconscious. Mikuni walked on. In the office, Ryoko’s two followers faced off each other. One of them – Hata was suspicious of Sayako’s identity and questioned his colleague. The latter – Shogo confessed that Sayako was his elder sister. Shogo told Hata that Ryoko had suggested Shogo to sleep with his own sister. Shogo stabbed Hata.

Other place, Mikuni reached the top where Ryoko was waiting for her. She welcomed her and asked for the three seals. Mikuni asked her if the world would be destroyed and Ryoko told her not to believe Kuniko’s words. Mikuni handed the seals to Ryoko for hope to become the successor. Ryoko denied her rights because of Sayako who was by her side. In the office, Shogo pointed his gun at Hata. Other place, Ryoko told Mikuni to abandon Sayako to become the Atlas successor. Sayako asked Mikuni to let her hug her and she did. With that, she pushed Mikuni away and ran away. Mikuni screamed for Sayoko. Ryoko pulled her back and dragged her away. In the office, Shogo locked Hata. Ryoko took Mikuni to a place where she opened the door with a special seal. Kuniko turned up and pulled Mikuni from Ryoko. Kuniko wanted to speak with Zeus. The wall began to speak and grabbed Kuniko’s hand. She commanded the halt of attack. Zeus refused to listen to anyone’s command for Ryoko was Zeus. Ryoko hit Kuniko. Ryoko told her that she was the one to order MEDUSA to take over the military force. Kuniko was shocked to learn that Ryoko planned to control the world. Kuniko wanted to stop her but in vain. She told Mikuni that she would lose her chance to exact revenge if she stopped MEDUSA with her right as Atlas successor. Mikuni decided not to stop MEDUSA as she thought of her terrible life being trapped in the sunless world because of her fearful power. Only Sayoko and Miko were the ones truly cared for her. Kuniko told her that Miko did not want her to be like that. Ryoko asked Mikuni to go with her as successor of Atlas. Just then the young major turned up pointing his gun at Kuniko. Kuniko was shocked.

Shangri-La #20:

The government cabinet questioned the minister – Ryoko on MEDUSA matter and demanded her resignation. She threatened them on their own lack of ability to control the situation. Just then, they received information of typhoon caused by MEDUSA that destroyed the UN army. In the refuge area, the people were relaxing and were getting along well with one another. Kunihito came along looking for someone and rushed out. Kuniko’s friends guessed he was looking for Kuniko and grinned. Out in the ruins, Momoko was looking around, thinking of Miko and her setting up of Tropical Fish. Nearby, Kuniko was also looking around, feeling lost. She wondered if she could build a new home for everyone and yelled out to boost her mood. Just then, Kunihito came rushing to them. He argued with Kuniko. Momoko broke their quarrel, teasing as them lovers. In the end, Kunihito and Kuniko drove off without Momoko to a place overlooking the surrounding. He pointed out a location and warned Kuniko of someone nearby. There was a red flash from afar. She borrowed Kunihito’s knife and noticed the angle of the red light. Kunihito drew out the pattern and found the centre. Meanwhile, the chairman and Kuniko’s grandmother discussed of the Earth chi where Atlas would be the centre of the Earth. Both of them had worked together in their younger years before. They talked of the sacrifices of children’s souls to hold up the Earth.

At the building top, Kuniko told Kunihito that she had lent her knife to Karin. Suddenly, someone attacked them and grabbed Kunihito’s knife. Kuniko ran after him. Meanwhile, Karin showed Mikuni the two knives of hers and Kuniko’s. She presented the two knives to her. Mikuni ordered for her carriage to confront Ryoko. Karin was delighted in her room because by making Mikuni the successor of Atlas, she would stand to benefit. Her online friends communicated with her on the trade to increase their wealth. They explored potential of other land. In the refuge camp, Kunihito quarreled with Kuniko for loss of his knife when Momoko interfered them again. Momoko told Kuniko of the three old men. Kuniko and Momoko happily chatted with the old men over the Internet. They told them of the appearance of successor as well as new information. In her room, Karin’s friends warned Karin of new enemies who would be hunting her down. In the air, air force was on the move. It was the UN military that detected source of MEDUSA in Tokyo where Karin lived. Karin was warned to abandon MEDUSA. She refused. Meanwhile, Ryoko knew Mikuni and Hiruko would be coming and this would solve her problem. In the mansion, Mikuni tried to take Hiruko with her. Hiruko warned that someone was after the moon. Mikuni promised to return to Miko after her matter. Hiruko crawled out of the pool. In her room, Karin was working hard on her program. Just then, there was a giant explosion. Momoko, Kuniko and Kunihito witnessed it. Outside, Mikuni saw Hiruko before her. Hiruko vanished before her eyes. Mikuni was aghast. She cried.

One Piece #413:

The public chanted for the execution of Luffy while the snake sisters confronted him. Hebi-Hime watched on. Luffy knew the two younger sisters had eaten the fruit before. Luffy went to grab the petrified stone women and placed them away from the battlefield so that they would not be involved in the fight. He apologised for getting them involved. He knew they could return back to normal as he had fought someone who had similar power as Hebi-Hime before. The others were surprised that he still cared for others despite his situation. Many laughed when he stated he would defeat the snake sisters. The sisters warned him of the spikes beneath the stage. Hebi-hime commenced the start of the execution. The crowd cheered. The sister - Marigold attacked Luffy with her giant axe and venom. Luffy dodged and kicked her. His attack was deflected. Another sister bound Luffy with her snake tail. Luffy was shocked that he could sense pain even though he was rubber. He recalled his past battles and questioned of the sisters’ curses that were a lie. The sister tossed him away. He continued his attack but she seemed to know his movements. Marigold joined in the attack. Luffy was slammed between their tails before he fell towards the spikes. Luffy suddenly stretched his limbs and managed to stop his fall in time.

The crowd was disappointed but still believed the Kuja sisters would defeat him. Hebi-hime commented that Luffy was laughable. Luffy leaped back to the stage and told the Hebi-hime off. Angered, she demanded her sisters to kill him. The sisters decided to kill him immediately and grabbed the stone figure of Margaret, using her as their weapon. They planned to kill them to punish Luffy. Luffy was angry and tried to stop them. They attacked and hit Luffy with their tails. They bound him while they prepared to kill Margaret before his eyes. Luffy recalled how much Margaret had admired the sisters. He yelled them off. Some of the crowd could not bear to witness it. Luffy yelled the sisters to stop. Marigold tossed Margaret towards the ground. Luffy emitted strong light. Many audiences collapsed. Marigold was forced to release Luffy and Margaret. Luffy went to check the stone figure of Margaret and was glad she was well. The others were shocked that he had power of ‘King’s disposition’ or Haki. Hebi-hime was also shocked. The public wondered who he was and that he was not aware of his Haki ability. Luffy clenched his fists for a battle.

Shangri-La #19: The Tokyo bombing raid

It was night when Kuniko and her team began the bombing of Tokyo to destroy the poisonous fungi. Meanwhile, Ryoko was updated of the progress. Same time, people were taking refuge in Atlas. Momoko and others were helping out with limited resource and space. Suddenly, there was a shake. Across the land, people watched news of the burning of fungi. In a room, Kuniko’s grandmother was playing chess with the chairman who confessed that Ryoko was completely out of control. Kuniko’s grandmother stated Atlas was to be ruled by Digma but Ryoko refused to follow the rule. In a room, the young major and Kuniko talked. Other place, the three old men evacuated from their shop. Mikuni and others were still in safety of the building while Karin was monitoring the increase of carbon in the air due to the burning operation. Ryoko’s men were also monitoring the carbon level.

In the refuge area, people were unrest. Kuniko was planning to end everything in a place. Momoko wished Kuniko good luck. Kuniko’s plane reached Doumo. Momoko counted down. Kuniko released the bomb. Doumo was destroyed in the sea of flame, together with the fungi. The refuges and Kuniko’s grandmother felt it. Everyone could sense the sound of the bell in Doumo tower. Kuniko wept for disappearance of Doumo. With its destruction, the fungi were destroyed. One area remained not destroyed because someone was there. In the room, Karin was delighted as her wealth increased with the carbon level. MEDUSA changed into giant dragon. Karin was shocked.

Roy was aghast when Riza failed to response to his call over the mic. In the hotel, Ling told them the matter was regarding Lab 5 and Al left off, promising to return. Other place, Gluttony strangled Riza but her dog arrived and saved her in time. Together with another of her team member, they shot Gluttony but with no effect. Roy arrived in time and burnt him away. Riza was furious because Roy had put himself into danger of being suspect. Riza later thanked Roy as they walked through the staircase. Al arrived and asked Roy if the incident was related to Hughes’ death and he agreed. They went together. Barry arrived and Roy told him not to miss sight of his original body. Riza told Al and Roy of Gluttony’s ability not to die and Al told them he was Homunculus. Roy and Riza were shocked. Al told them Homunculus could regenerate themselves. Meanwhile, Gluttony got back to his feet. Roy, Riza, Al and Barry as well as others reached a lab. Barry stormed in and Roy and others took this as excuse to infiltrate the building. They were forced to spill up in the darker part of building and came across Lust. Havoc Jean was shocked to see his new girlfriend a Homunculus. Havoc told Roy that he did not tell her of anything related to work. She admitted she knew Hughes. Roy shot her but with no effect. She showed them her Philosopher’s Stone within her chest. Havoc and Roy were shocked. Roy tried to fight her but she was too fast. Roy broke down water into hydrogen and oxygen and attacked Lust. Meanwhile, Riza was on her move.

Later, the place was badly burnt with explosion of hydrogen. Suddenly, Lust appeared and stabbed Havoc. She stood up and regenerated herself. Roy shot her and pulled the Philosopher’s Stone from her chest, trying to heal Havoc with it. Lust disfigured attacked Roy. Outside the building, Bradley arrived and entered the building, knowing Roy and others were inside. In the dark, Lust prepared to kill Roy. Havoc lost consciousness. Riza and Al found Barry looking down at his decayed body. He told them that with absence of original soul, the body would also die. Suddenly, Lust appeared before them. She prepared to kill another candidate sacrifice. Barry attacked her but his soul was shattered instead. Lust told Riza that she had killed Roy. She was stunned. Riza shot her in anguish but with no effect. Riza wept and fell on her knees. Al shielded Riza and transmuted weapon without the circle. He used his body to take Lust’s blow and urged Riza to run. He vowed to protect her, as he did not want anyone to die before his eyes. Roy appeared and attacked Lust with his flames. He praised Al’s words. Roy had sealed his wounds with his fire earlier. He burnt Lust who screamed in agony. When flames died down, she disintegrated. Her Philosopher’s Stone vanished. Roy collapsed and thanked Al for protecting Riza. He told them that Havoc was still alive. From the dark, Bradley left. It was night when Al returned to the waiting Winry. Winry welcomed him back and yelled at Al’s damage. At the battlefield, the original Barry’s body messed up the seal mark on Barry’s armor, killing him forever. Other place, Armstrong and others saluted as Ed found his father standing before his mother’s tombstone. He was shocked.

Shangri-La #18:

Karin was shocked that Kuniko planned to burn Tokyo. She told them that due to their limited budget, she could rent the materials to them. Kuniko and Momoko were surprised. Karin wanted them to let her know the date and location for action as well a having Kuniko’s knife. She agreed. Karin noticed Momoko’s earring. She started asking Karin what she knew of the earring and Karin was forced to take them to meet Mikuni and Sayoko. Momoko and Sayoko were shocked. Karin introduced Kuniko to Mikuni. Momoko asked Mikuni of her earring. She had similar earring. Kuniko was surprised. Mikuni told her that the earring belonged to her mother. Momoko told Kuniko that the earring was actually Kuniko’s mother. This meant Kuniko and Mikuni were related. Mikuni told them of Miko whom Hiruko currently possessed. Kuniko and Momoko were shocked. Hiruko was still screaming but became quiet when she saw Momoko. She started to talk in Miko’s conscious. Later, Kuniko and Momoko returned to see explosion in Doumo. The poisonous fungi had spread and the young major with others were still searching for more.

In Atlas, Ryoko was told report about the weed. Meanwhile, Mikuni asked Sayoko of her possible elder sister – Kuniko. Sayoko refused to acknowledge Kuniko. In her room, Karin knew there was one more of the knives. In Doumo, the people were having meeting when Kuniko’s grandmother turned up. Kuniko asked her of the earring. She was aware of Kuniko’s intention to burn Tokyo. She wanted to get into Altas to meet someone in return of knowing Kuniko’s plan. She told Kuniko that the latter knew of her. Later, Kuniko talked to the young major. Next day, Momoko, Kuniko and Kuniko went to Altas to see Ryoko. The young major was also there but in hiding. In the office, Kuniko told Ryoko that they were going to burn Tokyo to the ground. Ryoko was not supportive to accept refuges. Young major activated plan B to force Ryoko to agree by activating a bomb inside building. Kuniko challenged Ryoko what she would do if she had internal threats like this if she refused. Ryoko finally agreed to their terms.

Shangri-La #16:

Ryoko desired to see suffering of Kuniko through torture of Miko. Meanwhile, Mikuni was weeping for loss of Miko. Ryoko thought of using Miko as next vessel for Hiruko spirit. In his room, the young major thought of Kuniko’s words as she and Momoko left his house. They decided to return to Doumo to come up with plan. In Doumo, the people were still awaiting Kuniko’s return. Kuniko’s friends were also worried until Kuniko greeted them with Momoko. The other people were thrilled and ran to hug her. Kuniko went to her grandmother who asked her what she had seen in Atlas. Kuniko was still shocked that her grandmother was the first governor of Atlas. Kuniko decided to banish her grandmother from Doumo. Before she left, she told Kuniko of the mixing of vegetables. Kuniko wept. Later, Momoko went to sit with Kuniko and supported her every decision. They were also worried for Miko. Momoko told her that hearts connect without phone. Kuniko pulled Momoko and leaped from the building, holding onto her rope supporting both. Momoko and Kuniko beamed.

In other place, Miko was sent to Hiruko’s pool where she was enveloped by seals. She screamed and dissolved into the pool. Hiruko emerged and screamed. Momoko woke suddenly, covered with sweat. Next day, Kuniko and others were digging for stuffs. Momoko went to look for Kuniko and all of them with others went to examine some fungus that could activate attacks of nitrogen oxide through its seeds. Same time, Ryoko was also studying the same plants. Kuniko was determined to stop the plant’s growth. Ryoko chose to ignore the fungi. Meanwhile, the young major was rambling something and walked off. Ryoko ignored his departure. In her palace, Mikuni prepared to attack Atlas to rescue Miko. Other place, Kuniko and others were in the forest trying to destroy the fungi. Ryoko was told of Mikuni’s attack of Atlas to get Miko back. Ryoko appeared and Mikuni commanded her people to shoot her. Ryoko proved to Mikuni that she was not destined to die yet. Ryoko led Mikuni to Hiruko pool and told her that Miko was now Hiruko. Hiruko emitted Miko’s voice and Miko’s soul held back Hiruko before she could attack Mikuni. Mikuni hugged Miko who told her to leave her be. Ryoko sent her men to round up Mikuni. In the forest, Kuniko and others were still destroying the fungi. Momoko told Kuniko that she studied biology in university. In Hiruko’s palace, Sayoko grabbed Hiruko and threatened Ryoko in return for Mikuni’s safety. They moved through. Sayoko demanded Mikuni to be made successor of Atlas. Ryoko let them left. In Doumo, Kuniko and others returned from the forest. Suddenly, the alarm sounded and they hid in their shelters. Momoko told Kuniko that the rain bomb caused the growth of the fungi. Later, after the rain bomb, the people rebuilt the damaged structure while Kuniko looked at the forest. Takehiko appeared, his rifle pointing at her head. He had knew the truth of Kuniko’s heritage to Atlas.

Shangri-La #17: Tunnels on the dark night

Kuniko asked Takehiko why he wanted to kill her. He told her that she was rank AAA. Other place, Karin learned from her system that the young major, Kuniko and Mikuni were Rank AAA. Takehiko told Kuniko that many children, including his younger sister were sacrificed to Hiruko of Atlas. He told her that the company had sen him to Doumo to guard her as she was the only AAA he knew. Kuniko told him to shoot her. The young major appeared and fought him before he could pull the trigger. Takehiko told Kuniko that AAA was the inheritor of Atlas. Takehiko let himself fall into the water steam, as Doumo was no longer his home. In her room, Ryoko was receiving updates. In Doumo, Kuniko asked the young major what sacrifices of children were for and she thanked him for saving her. He told her that he quit the army to seek the truth. From the top of building, Karin was looking at the city below. She was being informed that a representative of Mikuni sought to see her. Karin met Sayoko and Mikuni. Mikuni wanted Karin to heal Miko. Hiruko/Miko was sunk into the swimming pool. Hiruko emerged and screamed. Sayoko suggested setting barrier. Later, Mikuni commanded Karin to prepare people to serve her. Karin was not pleased.

In Doumo, Momoko and Kuniko discussed of Takehiko who used to be from Atlas and had hid many secrets from them. Suddenly, someone came to inform them that they lost contact with a team. Meanwhile, Atlas had arranged maids for Mikuni. Some maids collapsed as they had lied. Mikuni thanked Karin. Meanwhile, Kuniko allocated her people to find survivors. They found giant fungi. Kuniko tried to slash them with her boomerang but they spouted explosive seeds. Ryoko was meanwhile updated of the people poisoned by the fungi and she did not care. Other place, Kuniko and others found the people in the city already died. Sion meanwhile refused to resign from serving Ryoko. In Doumo, Kuniko and others were discussing how to destroy the fungi. In Atlas, the three old men were playing games when Kuniko and Momoko visited them. They asked for another bomber. They rejected as someone had bought over the city. However, the old men could arrange Momoko and Kuniko to meet the buyer. Karin was thrilled to meet another AAA candidate. Karin and Kuniko were surprised to meet again. Kuniko asked to buy a bomber as she wanted to burn Tokyo to the ground. Karin was shocked.

Shangri-La #15: Straying And Defeat

Karin was still surfing online on her MEDUSA programme. Meanwhile, Kuniko and others were still lost in the maze. Momoko managed to meet up Kuniko. In the office, Ryoko and chairman were monitoring the progress of the Metal Age rebels. Ryoko traced Kuniko and communicated on the video. The chairman also communicated with them. The rebels of Metal-Age were outraged. Kuniko was forced to make the decision to order others to surrender. She apologised to them. Momoko was pissed off with the Atlas people. Below, Takehiko and others surrendered their weapons and looked for Kuniko. In the wasteland, Takehiko saw a white girl entering a shrine like place and he followed her in. He found flowers and seals along side and followed the song. The white girl stood behind him as he looked at a tiny shrine, he found a tiny shoe of the girl that he had wanted to protect when he was young. He knew she had been sacrificed like other little girls to Hiruko spirit. Takehiko cried. The colourful flower like things were actually shoes of the sacrificed girls.

In her room, Karin was talking with her friends online. In Atlas, Momoko and Kuniko toured the shops where passing-by moved away from them. The military was hunting down them and they escaped. Meanwhile, the young major tried to find some data and was shocked to find them missing. In a lady’s house, Momoko made up a fake story to gain shelter for herself and Kuniko from the military. The lady told them of the current situation in the city. In her room, Karin was looking at the data and was displeased to see that her programme failed. Meanwhile, Kuniko’s grandmother learned of MEDUSA programme’s failure. Same time, Karin’s friends deserted her due to the failure. Karin was upset. She refused to give up yet. She tried again on her system. Her dragon was activated. Other place, Ryoko and the chairman’s followers reported that MEDUSA programme revived. Ryoko’s subordinates aimed their guns at the Chairman. In the red place, Hiruko reported the latest Atlas updates. Karin same time was programming and launched her next attack, which failed. Her alarm sounded. There was an explosion but Ryoko’s men could not find the target. Other place, the young major returned home to find his mother taking in Momoko and Kuniko. Three of them were shocked. The young major thought deeply in his bedroom when his mother went to look for him. Kuniko and Momoko talked in the dining room, worrying for others. That night, the young major went to look for Kuniko and returned her her bommerang that he kept since their last fight. He asked her why she was fighting. Momoko listened to their conversation in the dark. In the Moon palace, Ryoko’s men went to round up Miko who was staying by Mikuni’s side. Miko was shocked.

Shangri-La #14:

It was late at night in Doumo when everyone was waiting anxiously for Kuniko while Kuniko’s grandmother was preparing things in the house. Meanwhile, the others were watching the battles via online. In Atlas, Momoko and Kuniko were making their way in the building while Takehiko and others were battling elsewhere in different squads. Kuniko coordinated via the communicator and was shocked to learn that some squads were encountering some problem. Takehiko and his team were faced with disguised killing machines. Ryoko was updated of the progress and she looked forward in meeting Kuniko again. The young major was making his way through the jungle on truck. Other place, Momoko and Kuniko were surprised to find themselves in a place that was in disguise of desert followed by Tokyo before destruction. Takehiko and others told Kuniko that they were in same location. Suddenly, Kuniko and Momoko were attacked by missiles that they dodged. In her office, Ryoko was confident that the guerillas would not win the light they wanted to achieve. Kuniko found the city strange without forest around it. Momoko told Kuniko that Project Atlas was initially welcomed that time until the city was destroyed without support from government due to imposing of carbon tax. Eventually, forest was created to cool the city. Ryoko told her subordinate that Atlas was created for her to play. Meanwhile, Karin was still online checking the carbon market via her MEDUSA programme. Karin was confident that she would make a lot of money.

Meanwhile, Ryoko met the Chairman, planning to meet the completion of Atlas. They observed profile of Kuniko. Other place, Sayoko woke to find herself in a room and she ran out of it, silencing guards as she moved, she was determined to make sure Mikuni would become the chosen one. Ryoko and Chairman discussed of importance of Hiruko that influenced the existence of Atlas. Meanwhile, Takehiko and his team were in confusion of the illusions. Yusuke fell into an illusionary black hole. Other place, Kuniko was fighting her way through. The young major was also running. Momoko and Kuniko were separated by the blast. Kuniko faced off the young major. She told him that she was now the leader of Metal Age. With different ideology, they prepared to fight each other. There was no turning back as each of them had people they wanted to protect. The young major was separated from Kuniko via a wall through the Chairman’s chess play with Ryoko. Their game activated the traps of the environment where Kuniko and others were trapped in. Kuniko was trapped in a building while Takehiko and others were faced with smoke bombs. Along the corridor, Kuniko saw portraits of a couple and a voice. The girl of the portrait reminded her of her grandmother. Kuniko slashed the portrait, confused and angry. In the dark, Sayoko moved through the hall, looking for Mikuni and collapsed.

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood #17:

Ross was being interrogated for Hughes’ murder by the officers whose proof was the bullets Ross had used before in laboratory 5 where she had escorted the Elric brothers. On the night of Hughes’ death, her family members who were witness were not allowed to be proved alibi. Danny talked to Armstrong who suspected the military was probably planning to silence Ross on the Lab 5 issue. In the hotel, Ed was still thinking of Hughes’ death while Winry cleaned Al’s armor. She told Ed how scared she was when the brothers were out fighting for she did not want them to disappear from her life just like her parents. Al praised Winry for being kind. In the room, Falman was playing chess with Barry the Chopper when he received some information on accusing of Ross. In the hotel, Al told Ed of the news. Ed was shocked to find Ross being accused of killing Hughes.

In the detention prison, Yao Ling was trying to talk through a warder when many warders tried to fight off Barry the Chopper. Yao Ling asked Barry to let him out. When he learnt that Ling was from Xing, he released him. Barry proceeded to release Ross from her cell. He showed her the newspaper that accused her of murdering Hughes. Ross was devastated and agreed to leave with Barry. Meanwhile, the military was activated to kill her. On the street, Roy was walking. Al and Ed met Ross, Ling and Barry on the street. Barry called Ross to run to the alley while he held back the Elric brothers. In the alley, Roy confronted Ross. There was huge fire in that alley and Ed arrived to find a burnt corpse before Roy. Ed was shocked and angry. He grabbed Roy’s collar and was being hit back. Al tried to hold back Ed from attacking Roy and demanded to know answers from Roy. Roy told them that it was order from the top. Ross’ hand bracelet lay on the ground next to the corpse. Roy denied his people’s involvement to aid Ross’s escape. Ed was still glaring at Roy. Later, Armstrong apologised for not telling the brothers of Hughes’ death. The doctor could not identify Ross in the extremely burnt corpse. Armstrong was anguished over Ross’s death. Roy told Armstrong to go to the East for a break. Other place, Envy told Lust of the latest development. In the office, Riza asked to apply leave and Roy approved. He smirked even though she slammed the door hard.

In the room, Falman and Barry found Ling summoning for Ran Fan and her grandfather with smoke. In the office, Roy was flirting with a woman over the phone for a date. In the hotel, Ed was confronted by the scary looking Armstrong who prepared to send him home while Al would stay in Central. Armstrong told him that it was an order. Roy was informed in office and he smirked, as there would be no more hindrances to his plan. In the dark room, Envy told Lust of Barry the Chopper. The original body of Barry the Chopper was locked in the cage.

Shangri-La #13:

Flashback, Momoko had wanted Kuniko to live like a normal girl and another flashback, she had told others that she was not a leader of Metal Age. Another flashback, Kuniko told her grandmother that she was unable to do anything with Momoko’s kidnapping as such; she decided to become leader of Metal Age to go against the government that had betrayed them. She told others that they would fight to get back their future.

It was night. Kuniko, Takehiko, Momoko and others were loading things to prepare the battle. Kuniko’s grandmother told Kuniko not to be afraid. Kuniko vowed to fight for everyone’s future. The plane flew through the air. The chairman had reached Atlas. In the forest, Kuniko and others were travelling on cars. A man stood waiting for them. It was K.D. and he was assigned to take them to view a giant boomerang (it was in fact a fighter plane). Kuniko thanked K.D. In Atlas, the workers were protesting against their guards. There were internal riots within Atlas. Meanwhile, Kuniko and others were travelling to Atlas through the air. Kuniko decided to take out the government. Ryoko and others were observing Kuniko and others’ progress on their security system. There was a battle in the air against the air force. Ryoko communicated with the chairman. Karin was also observing the air war in Atlas. Kuniko left the plane to attack the approaching missiles with her boomerang. Mikuni was watching the battle with Miko in Moon Palace with interest. Miko asked Mikuni how she would feel if she were to disappear from Mikuni who cried. Miko consoled her. Meanwhile, the battle went on. Kuniko wanted to fight the missiles again. K.D. told her his real name Koeno. Kuniko and Momoko stepped out to check the outside systems and landed on the enemy’s structure. Momoko activated the bomb on the enemy’s structure and leaped off with Kuniko. Meanwhile, K.D.’s plane was hit. All fighters from Doumo leaped to the building from the plane. K.D.’s plane exploded. Kuniko screamed and destroyed the enemy’s plane. Momoko grabbed Kuniko with her rope before she almost fell. In the sky, Kuniko was relieved to see K.D. escaped to safety via parachute.

Naruto Shippuuden #105: The Battle over the Barrier

Kabuto, Guren and Yukimaru were travelling through the woods. Guren was still not happy that Kabuto threatened to tell Yukimaru her deed in the murder of Yukimaru’s mother. Meanwhile, at the lake, Hinata, Sakura, Shizune and Ino were controlling the barrier while Lee and Tenten stood guard. Tobi was watching afar. Kakashi and Sai were still tracking Guren. Same time, Naruto and Shino were also searching. Naruto wanted to save Yukimaru from Guren.

Other place, Guren’s henchmen were struggling to a rocky place, injured. From afar, Kabuto and Guren were watching the barrier seal. Kabuto forced Yuukimaru to take the pills to control Sanbi. Guren stopped him and volunteered to stop the Konoha ninjas herself. Kabuto gave in and told Guren to follow Rinji’s plan as he took Yukimaru to a secure place. Later, Rinji appeared before Guren. Rinji told Guren the strengths of the Konoha protectors. Guren would attack the protectors while Rinji would break the seal. Shortly, Guren confronted Tenten and Lee in fight. In the water, Sanbi was still struggling against the seal. In the woods, Naruto and Shino received insect information. On the lake, Guren was fighting Lee and Tenten with her crystal dragons. Meanwhile, the seal broke and Ino and others had to reseal the lock again. Just then, Rinji appeared but Naruto appeared to fight off Rinji. Shino sent insects at Guren who ignored. Suddenly, the seal broke and Sanbi escaped. In the woods, Kakashi and Sai reached Yamato and Kiba who exchanged information with them. From the cliff, Yukimaru saw waves spread, as Sanbi broke loose from the barrier. Tobi was excited. Yukimaru sensed pain as he walked towards the lake. Naruto was angry as Rinji and Guren pulled back.

Suddenly, splashes of water swept Naruto and others into water with Guren and Rinji. From the shore, Yukimaru witnessed it. Later, Shizune, Ino, Sakura, Hinata were led to safety by Lee and Tenten. From above, Yukimaru saw Sanbi approached Guren. On the lake, Shino reached Naruto who saw Sanbi from afar. Sanbi picked Guren but Yukimaru tried to yell it away with his power. In his lair, Orochimaru was taunting Kabuto’s hard time. In the woods, Tobi was observing Sanbi. So were Naruto and Shino. Guren woke to see Sanbi staring at her. Rinji got to his feet to see Yukimaru emitting energy on his own.

Omake: Naruto was trying to figure out the blank script when Tenten, Lee, Sai and Ino stomped in, trying to catch screen time. Sakura came in and found everyone turning black and white. It was Sai’s work.

Naruto Shippuuden #104:

Naruto used shadow clones to fight Guren and landed into water while she continued fighting Kakashi. Other place, Deldara was walking while Tobi was having fun around him. Deldara ignored him and they ended up walking separate ways. Meanwhile, Gozu and Guren’s fight with Sai, Kakashi and Naruto went on. Sai trapped Gozu with his ink beast to water. Guren sent crystal dragons at Kakashi and stabbed him at his back. Kakashi fell to the water. Gozu meanwhile tried to get out of Sai’s ink snakes but in vain. Same time, Tobi reached the lake. On the lake, Sakura and others were shifting the seal barrier and Rinji was hiding and watching. Tobi saw all these. Other place, Shino’s insects saved Kakashi in time. Guren tried to trap Shino’s insects but failed as they broke through the crystals. Naruto was impressed and activated shadow clones with rasengan behind her while Shino’s insects surrounded her. Naruto sent his rasengan at her. Gozu was worried and used his mud to block Sai as he went to find her. Meanwhile, Guren tried to use her crystal to eliminate Naruto’s clones and Shino’s insects as well as Kakashi’s raiki. Same time, Yukimaru was worried. Gozu arrived in time to shield Guren and to take her away before Kakashi and others could hurt her. Gozu sacrificed himself so as to save Guren’s life. Naruto checked Kakashi who was all right. Naruto and Shino moved together while Sai with Kakashi to find Guren.

In the woods, Yamato, Lee, Tenten and Kiba moved to guard the lake. On the lake, Shizune and others sensed Sanbi moving near and prepared to seal. Tobi was aghast and saw Rinji attacking them. Lee arrived to fight Rinji. Tenten also arrived. Later, Kabuto went from the lake, cursing Gozu and others for their lousy work. He went to look for Yukimaru. At the bank, Guren fainted and thought back of Yukimaru’s mother’s death again. She heard the same music played by her again at present time and screamed. She went to find and saw Yukimaru playing the music. Kabuto appeared behind her telling her the next plan. Guren demanded to know the effect it would bring Yukimaru. Kabuto taunted her for her weakness and told her that he knew she had killed Yukimaru’s mother. He threatened to use the information against her. In the lake, Sanbi was trashing against the barrier. At the cliff, Guren went to hug Yukimaru. Kabuto was impressed with Orochimaru’s decision to use Guren as he knew her weakness. Kabuto moved behind her, preparing the next step instructed by Orochimaru if Guren was to betray Orochimaru.

COMMENTS:

Really wish Naruto Shippuuden anime producers can choose more suitable songs for the OP and ED. Part I's OP & ED have been fine with lynics suitable for the plot but Part II anime's OP & ED are more like love songs that are completely irrelevant to the plot at all, especialy 'Closer', 'Blue Bird' and 'Hotaru no Hikari'. 'Hero Comes Back' - the first opening is the best and most relevant. 'Distance' lynic is relevant but I really don't think it's suitable for a shounen anime like Naruto Shippuuden that involves a lot of fighting. As for Naruto Shippuuden ED, 'Shinkoyuu', 'Bacchikoi', 'Long Kiss Goodbye' (because it's about separation of Asuma and Kurenei) are all right.

Other animes producers for D.Gray Man, Bleach, Phantom - Requiem for the Phantom, Shangri-La, Kissdum - Engage Planet, Soul Eater are doing better jobs in choosing OP & ED. Check out anime lynics at http://www.animelyrics.com

The young major was hospitalized after the ordeal at sea. In her room, Ryoko was getting her male maid to paint her nails when she was told of the survivors of Medusa operation. She told him to eliminate them except the young major who was Digima 3. In Doumo, Ryoko made announcement on the media for a sudden information. Kuniko and others were angry and shocked. Kuniko told others that she prepared to attack from the air. Takehiko supported her. In her room, Karin was checking the market price again. She targeted China market next. Karin planned to make money to cheer herself out. She wanted to go outside as suggested by the youth last time. Karin thought of going out in teddy bear disguise. Meanwhile, Sayoko demanded to see Ryoko who gained her audience. Same time, Kuniko and Takehiko were making their way to Atlas. Along the way, they discussed strategies and visited the old men stall. They knew Kuniko had become leader of Metal Age. Takehiko asked of weapons on showcase. Kuniko passed the old men her shopping list. Kuniko wanted a big boomerang. In a shop, Karin in disguise of giant teddy bear wanted to buy many toys. In the old men stall, Kuniko wanted the items to be delivered to Doumo. She told them her plan to invade Atlas and invited them to go Doumo to live. The old men did not plan to leave.

In other place, Sayako confronted Ryoko. She demanded to know why Mikuni was not the successor of Atlas even though she had heard voice of Atlas. Ryoko did not answer her question. Sayako begged her to tell her as she went on her knees. Ryoko told her that there were two other candidates other than Mikuni. But Ryoko refused to reveal their identity. On the street, Karin asked of an advertised item. Kuniko saw her and remembered seeing the bear in server world. Kuniko approached Karin. Karin was terrified and Kuniko pulled off her teddy bear head. Karin ran off in fear. In her lab, Sayoko searched the data for the other candidates’ identity. Ryoko ignored the infiltration by Sayoko as she had set traps. Ryoko’s image greeted Sayoko at the end. Later, Miko was shocked to see Sayoko being dragged back to Mikuni’s Moon Palace. She found a earring from Momoko falling off her as she was dragged away. In her room, Karin did not want to leave her room anymore as she talked to her teddy bear. In the lab, Momoko woke to find her shackles loosened. She found her earring on her and knew Miko had saved her. Meanwhile, Miko hoped for Momoko’s safety as she accompanied Mikuni.

In Doumo, the people were discussing the attack of Atlas and Takehiko told Kuniko that other Metal Age would help them. Kuniko agreed to do the invasion as priority when Momoko appeared. Kuniko wept and hugged her in joy. Momoko reassured her that she was fine and so was Miko. Momoko was happy that Kuniko had become leader of Metal Age. Kuniko thanked Momoko.

Phantom – Requiem for the Phantom #17: Truth

It was night; McCuuen was looking at Romero’s photo, thinking back the time when he died in her arms. Other place, Cal was not pleased as Reiji went to work at night. She called him to return home soon. He promised. He thought back the time when Cal confessed her feeling for him. During his waiting for Lizzie, Reiji was confronted by a group of people who had held Lizzie hostage. They had a photo of Reiji besides the client’s corpse in the hotel that night before and they accused Reiji of being the murderer. They wanted Lizzie and Reiji to turn against McCuuen. They suspected these people were the attackers who sided with Sycthe a year ago. The men told them that the mastermind was McCuuen and not Sycthe. Lizzie and Reiji were shocked. Reiji recalled the time when Ein ‘died’. The man told them that McCuuen was trying to kill the people in Gotoh and to control the organization. Suddenly, someone attacked in the dark against the people, giving Reiji and Lizzie chance to escape. Reiji went after the shooter and went face to face with Ein on top of the train. She told him she was no longer Elen – the name that Reiji had named her a year ago. She told him to escape from Inferno as she separated the train carriage, leaving him. In a room, Scythe was painting as his comrade told him how his scheme would send people of Inferno to hell one by one. Scythe planned to kill McCuuen and Reiji. In the snow, a man congratulated Mio for graduating from high school. She soon left. She was the man’s younger sister and the man had to hide the fact that he was from Gotoh organization to protect her. Back to present, the man was lying on the ground with bullet wounds and he got back to his feet as his assistant stood next to him. He told him that Inferno would finish McCuuen off and there would be war soon. His assistant – Shiga pointed his gun at the man preparing to finish him off to make McCuuen’s betrayal more convincing. A bag outside his house door exploded. Reiji screamed for Cal.

Naruto Shippuuden #103: Four Corner Sealing Barrier

Naruto and others set off for mission the next day. Kiba and Lee chatted and Lee was disappointed not being in the team to fight stronger opponent until Kiba told him that Riji and others were also strong. Tenten joined in the chat. Meanwhile, Naruto introduced Sai to Shino. Naruto praised Sai for being strong and good in drawing. Shino was bemused that Naruto knew little about him even though they were friends for years. He told Naruto his favourite food and dislikes.

At the lake, Guren told Gozu that she disliked Kabuto who treated Yukimaru like a tool. They set off. Meanwhile, Rinji, Nurai and others were investigating the surrounding. Same time, Shizune and others prepared the sealing technique. Shizune told them that Kiba and others would concentrate on fighting enemy. Ino was worried but Sakura was optimistic. Ino recalled the time when Sakura encouraged her during her medical training. She regained her confidant to control her chakra. At the bush area, Kiba related the earlier smoke screen fights to Lee and Tenten. Lee told him of his strategy of using guts to fight enemy. Kiba and others were bemused. Meanwhile, Kakashi and others reached the other side of lake. Shino inspected surrounding. Naruto was still thinking of Jiraiya’s words to think of the people concerned and thought of Yukimaru. Suddenly, Gozu appeared and attacked Kakashi, Naruto and Sai. Guren also appeared. Guren used her crystal against Naruto who dodged. Kiba and others saw the first enemy. Lee attacked immediately. Yamato told others not to get into enemy’s trick as the other side used smoke screen. Rinji abruptly left off. Lee tried to concentrate and remembered Gai’s lessons to think from the heart and spirit. He detected location of enemy and attacked rapidly. Kiba was impressed. Tenten used raising dragon technique as Lee left smoke screen, meaning her weapons would only attack the enemy. Kiba was speechless as he was worse than Tenten and Lee. He and Akamaru attacked but were enveloped by smoke screen. Still, he had left smell on them and struck them easily.

Other place, Kakashi, Sai and Naruto fought Guren and Gozu. Naruto was determined that Yukimaru would not be used as tool. Shino was still accumulating his parasite insects. He began to commence his preparation.

COMMENTS: New OP and ED. Rinji was probably already killed and being taken over by Kabuto back in episode #102 when Rinji threatened to blackmail Kabuto.

OMAKE: Kiba told Shino and Hinata of his strong sense of smell that gave him disadvantage. Shino sought revenge on Kiba using salted fish as a payback for ignoring him.

Shangri-La #11: I dreamt I was a bird

Karin was humming tune as she tried to recall something. Other place, someone else was humming the same tune that Karin had earlier hummed. The young military thought back his past when he was woke by his comrades on the life saving boat in the middle of the sea. In her room, Karin was communicating with her Internet friends. Meanwhile, the young major was thanked by his subordinates. Flashback, bright light enveloped the ship and the young major ran to the subordinates’aid with safety tools. Ryoko was informed. She did not care and was only concerned of the progress of typhoon at Medusa area. In her room, Karin was surprised to see a black cat entering her room when she received a voicemail from her parents. They apologised for leaving her alone and promised to meet her soon. Karin was glad and Medusa system interfered her thoughts. Other place, Mikuni wanted to go out to the open and Miko wept for her. Karin meanwhile questioned who the newcomer online was and he claimed he could save her from her confinement. She told him to leave her alone. He claimed he was she. She told him to get out and he vanished. She was confused and the cat sat in front of her. She questioned the others for intruders in security system and they stated there was no intruder. She wondered if it was a dream. She suddenly heard a song and followed it to see the earlier youth singing in her room. He asked her not to leave.

In the middle of the sea, the young major tried to encourage others. In Doumo, Takehiko asked Kuniko of her plan and she told him she had none. Meanwhile, Karin told the youth that she was scared, as she did not know how to talk to people. He smiled and encouraged her. She asked him of the song and recalled her mother singing the song to her. He told her that he was just like her and vanished back to the server before vanishing. Ryoko meanwhile was told of Digmas status. One of her men volunteered to check on the Digmas. In her room, Karin was typing away. In Doumo, Kuniko was in deep thought. In her room, Karin decided to neglect her teddy bear for once as she left her room. The door opened before her as she stepped out. In the sea, the young major woke to see a plane above. In the playground, Karin was looking at the feather from her room and started singing the same tune. She thought of her mother. She began to climb playground equipment that overlooked the building she was staying. The youth’s voice stated he was glad to see Karin was out of building. The youth vanished. Other place, Miko was piggybacking Mikuni across the dark garden, lit by the yellow moon. In the office, Ryoko’s subordinate was studying the Digmas – the young major, Mikuni and Kuniko when he came across a photo of the youth who had encouraged Karin out of her house. In the playground, Karin was singing. A flashback, young major left his room as a birdcage lay on the ground.

Shangri-La #10:

Kuniko’s grandmother was preparing meals in the kitchen. In the field, the people were clearing the weeds where they grew rapidly since the military’s last invasion. Kuniko was not helping. Takehiko had faith in Kuniko to head the settlement. Other place, Kuniko was sitting on place, thinking of her first time meeting Momoko and Miko. She had been impressed with Momoko’s technique to throw boomerang. Back to present, Miko was still thinking of the technique similar to Kuniko’s. Miyuni wanted to go to the surface. In the lab, the lab staff was still demanding to know why Momoko had a special earring. She threatened to use Kuniko and Tomoko to make Momoko answer. She began to drug Momoko. In Doumo, Tekahiko tried to talk Kuniko out of her depression. Kuniko went to pick pickled vegetable. In Altas, Mikuni wanted Miko to play with her again. In the lab, Momoko’s vision blurred as the lab staff tried to find out Momoko’s real identity. Momoko knew the lab staff had a daughter of around 10 years old. The lab staff was shocked. Momoko also managed to know the daughter’s name was Midori. Angered, the lab staff beat Momoko. Mikuni meanwhile reached a place where she was enveloped in bright light. Miko and others went to help her as she collapsed. In other place, spirit of Hiruko yelled of her prediction. Mikuni same time fainted. Ryoko from her room stated a caged bird had to return to its cage. In her room, Karin was still checking her system to find way to become rich. Meanwhile, Ryoko was told of approaching typhoon. Atlas construction was 12% behind schedule. A press conference was to be arranged. In Doumo, Kuniko returned to her room and recalled her time when Momoko tried to teach her a way to defend herself. Back in the lab, Momoko wanted Kuniko to live a normal life. She had argued with Takehiko to make sure Kuniko lived a life of a normal teenager. In her room, Kuniko decided to fly. In Atlas, Miko blamed herself for Mikuni’s status. The lab staff – Sayoko was also blaming herself. Mikuni told them of her hearing of Hiruko’s prediction and Sayoko ran away hurriedly. In Doumo, Kuniko walked through the street. The media announced of Ryoko’s promotion to construct Atlas. Kuniko remembered how Ryoko had killed Rena and others. In her room, Ryoko was told of Mikuni’s hearing of Hiruko’s words. Sayoko was being told to stand by on Mikuni’s place, as Mikuni was to stay in Moon Palace for the fact that she heard the voice of Atlas was not definitive. She told Mikuni that she would take her to where the sun was. In the kitchen, Kuniko visited her grandmother. She told her of her plan to find ways to protect the people of Doumo. Her grandmother knew she was going against the Atlas after all. She wanted to become the leader of Metal Age. Her grandmother went to take a thing for her. Kuniko wanted to go to Atlas. Her grandmother passed a special dagger to her and Kuniko heard the prediction given by Hiruko and heard by Mikuni. Other place, the marine army began their operation against Karin’s Medusa programme.

Shangri-La #09:

Mikuni was playing blind catching with her attendants under the sakura trees. She was dreaming of going out under the sun. Other place, Momoko, Kuniko and Tomoka were attacked. Kuniko had a bad feeling about it. Momoko attacked the opponents. Kuniko attacked the location where Mikuni happened to be hiding. A stray bullet injured Tomoka and Kuniko went to aid her. Momoko was kidnapped by an approaching helicopter. Kuniko was aghast and screamed. Ryoko was commanding her people to leave her room. Same time, Karin was still online as her Internet characters rant at her for lack of money. In her room, Ryoko came across a programme called Medusa.

Next day, Kuniko carried Tomoka on her back and she tried to sound confident of Momoko’s condition. Other place, Mikuni refused to leave the tired Miko alone. Other room, Momoko was strapped to a chair and she knew she was in Altas. Her captor threatened to know where her earring came from and decided to torture her for answer. Hiruko foresaw something for Ryoko within her space. A girl was dragged into the blood red liquid where the spirit of Hiruko possessed her. She screamed. Other place, Karin was still searching for baits in her Medusa system. Same time, Hata and his colleagues were also checking the Medusa system. In the Doumo city, the people were happy to see Kuniko and Tomoka back. They planned to have a party and some of them asked of Momoko. Kuniko went off to avoid the question. Her friends later visited her to find that she had not been eating.

Meanwhile, Kuniko had joined other comrades who were doing digging job planning to save everyone. Other place, Karin was told that her orders had fallen. Her Medusa programme had went into problem. Other place, Ryoko was asking Hiruko spirit for forecast of future through the bodies of her sacrifices. Other place, Kuniko and others were digging. Takehiko refused to let Kuniko see what was above but she saw nonetheless. She was shocked. Blood and bodies of Rena and others lay on the prison ground. Kuniko thought of the time when she fought Rena and her friendship with Nao and others. Dumb-found, she wailed, blaming herself for their deaths. She began to worry for Momoko and cried.

Shangri-La #08:

Ryoko declared executing Kuniko on the third day of standing in the sun without food and drink. The guards dragged her off. Before she was taken away, she warned her not to hurt anyone else or she would make sure she regretted it. Later in her office, she told others that she meant the execution. In her cell, Kuniko was in deep thoughts. Meanwhile, Kuniko’s friends in the city were shocked to learn of the execution sentence of Kuniko on the television. Her grandmother and Momoko were not worried. It was a raining night. The neighbours were discussing about it. In his office, Kunihito was feeling frustrated about it. In her room, Karin was bored of the useless contents online.

In prison dining hall, someone visited Kuniko. It was Momoko. She asked on well being of Kuniko. On the CCTV, Ryoko wondered of the calm attitude of Momoko. Momoko told Kuniko to live on until Kuniko reminded her that she was the one to be executed. Momoko passed Kuniko things from people in home. In her room, she was happy to see the nice things from home. She wondered if she would be really executed. Kuniko’s friend – Tomoka tried to bribe the ward with sexual favour to see Kuniko the last time. She asked her to run away together. Kuniko refused. Tomoka left. The ward told her to return to where she was supposed to be. The higher ups were planning to exert pressure on Kuniko. Meanwhile, Kuniko’s other old friend fought Rena for what she had done to Kuniko. At her labour work, Rena gave excuse to collect water. At a place, she and her friends began preparing something with trash they had collected. Suddenly, there was a bomb rain alarm and everyone evacuated. Underground, Kuniko’s hometown friends were still digging to rescue Kuniko. Other place, Mikuni was told that she was allowed to the ground above.

Night fell and day arrived quickly. Kuniko was escorted to the execution ground. Many people were watching as they did so. The shooters prepared their rifles and pointed at Kuniko. She suddenly sliced the rifles with her wires. There was an explosion and Rena passed ropes, which sent Tomoka and Kuniko into the hot air balloon, sending them both to safety. Kuniko and Tomoka leaped into the woods. Momoko fetched them there and welcomed them home. They hugged in joy. The presents that Momoko had given Kuniko in the prison had help them. The fabric and threads had allowed Rena and others to make the hydrogen air balloon. Other place, Ryoko prepared to return to Altas and told the guards to shoot Rena and others. On the road, Kuniko was feeling something bad. She saw the solar eclipse and burning roads. Under the sakura trees, Mikuni was dancing with her singing attendances.

Dragon Ball Kai #15:

Goku temporary took a break by blinding Vegeta for a short while using strong light. Within the break, he absorbed the natural ki preparing for his spirit attack. Shortly, Vegeta regained his vision and set off attacking Goku with his blast attack, stopping Goku’s spirit attack. Meanwhile, Gohan saw the attack from afar. At the battle scene, Vegeta continued to attack the weakened Goku. Karirin sensed Goku’s weakened stage. Goku used his remaining ki to attack Vegeta’s eye, blasting it. Angered, he attempted to crush Goku. Gohan and Karirin saw the gorilla Vegeta and Karirin told Gohan to hide. They ran closer and were confronted by the cowardly comrade. Karirin told others to distract Vegeta while he cut Vegeta’s tail. Gohan confronted Vegeta, demanding the release of Goku. Behind Vegeta, Karirin activated his ki but his attack missed Vegeta’s tail. Vegeta told them that he knew both of their presence. Vegeta attempted to continue crushing Goku and Gohan prepared to attack Vegeta. Suddenly, the comrade appeared and sliced off Vegeta’s tail. Vegeta was horrified and released Goku as he reverted back to human form. Vegeta attacked Gohan. Karirin tried to help but was hit away. Vegeta stamped on Gohan’s head, hit his head and called him trash. He threw Gohan to Goku’s side. Goku regained consciousness but could not move due to broken bones. He told Gohan to fight Vegeta on his behalf and reminded him of Piccolo who had sacrificed himself to save Gohan. Vegeta appeared and kicked Goku. Angered, Gohan got back to his feet and wanted to attack Vegeta. He sent ki attacks and kicked Vegeta. Karirin went to Goku’s side. Goku wanted to pass his spirit bomb to Karirin. He told Karirin to hold his hand to take the ki to defeat Vegeta. The natural ki went to Karirin’s palm. In the air, Vegeta punched Gohan to the ground. Karirin activated a spirit bomb above his palm. Goku told him to use the bomb to hit Vegeta.

Shangri-La #07:

Soldiers sneaked through the city. At the drink stall, someone was watching Kuniko with he friends from the top. At the watchtower, they saw something impossible. It was an armor train approaching the city. Kuniko was confronted with a group of people who planned to take her to prison. Momoko attempted to shield Kuniko who told her not to interfere. Tomoka slapped a soldier so that she could go with Kuniko. Both of them were taken away. In the armored train, Kuniko and Tomoka sat. Later, both of them were lead to the prison building. In the prison, Kuniko announced her arrival but no cheers greeted her. A lady – Ryoko was welcoming Kuniko’s arrival. Kuniko’s grandmother was not worried but others planned to take Kuniko back. Ryoko wanted to talk to Kuniko. Kuniko was taken across the cells where she saw her former friends looking dejected. There were also sounds of beatings down the levels as she was locked in a cell. Tomoka told her that she was scared. Tomoka was locked in a cell above Kuniko.

Other place, Karin was still operating her Medusa Internet investment business. Akihabara learned of Kuniko’s arrest from his superior. Underground, Kuniko’s town people were digging ground, planning to save Kuniko. In the prison, the other prisoners bullied Kuniko until the guards arrived. Later, they were called to cut trees. The earlier bully almost hit Tomoka with her fallen tree but Kuniko pulled her away in time. Afar, someone was using hydrogen to explode trees. Kuniko confronted the bully trying to talk to her but she walked away in scorn. Later, there was bomb alarm and all of them rushed to the shelter. The bully pushed Kuniko out into the open to face the rain bomb. Outside, Kuniko was able to duck the bombs. Inside a building, Ryoko was watching Kuniko. When the rain bomb ended, Tomoka ran out to Kuniko, glad to see her well. Nao – Kuniko’s previous friend privately told Kuniko of Rena – the bully. Rena was trying to hurt Kuniko to get Atlas pass. Her previous home was destroyed by forest. Kuniko suggested her to go to her hometown. Narase – the new warden ordered no food and water for Rena for three days. Kuniko stepped in for Rena. She accepted the punishment for Rena. Tomoka was worried for her. Inside her office, Ryoko found Kuniko fascinating. Inside the building, Tomoka slapped Rena for causing miser to Kuniko. She told Rena that she had killed a man two years ago for dumping her. But he survived and left. Kuniko went to the prison for Tomoka’s crime. Tomoka had wanted to apologise to Kuniko. Tomoka wept. On the third day, Ryoko approached Kuniko and told her that she was going to execute her as a gift.

Shangri-La #06:

Karin, in disguise of her teddy bear, had a conference with the executives on getting carbon credit. The executives were not happy with her plan to destroy other country’s economy known as ‘Serpent’. While Kuniko and her granny were monitoring the economy, an officer - Kunihito requested for his resignation due to his loss of the device sample but was rejected because someone higher up at Altas Corporation requested him not to be punished for the loss. His boss asked him to go to the Moon Palace. He went home for meal before setting off. He wanted to ask his mother about Altas Corporation but decided against it. Later, a lady led him to Mikuni of Moon Palace. Kunihito met Mikuni. The people in the control room who monitored Kunihito was shocked to see his blade same as that of Mikuni’s plus his data protected by the top. In the woods, Momoko went to visit Kuniko who was practicing. She told Momoko about the strange market condition. She felt it like a snake that bit into other countries taking their carbon credits. Kuniko and her granny went online to monitor the market again. Meanwhile, the executives and Karin were executing the ‘Serpent’ plan. Same time, Kuniko was shocked by the destruction to market condition by the serpent like monster. Kuniko concentrated and located the monster in a country at Maldive. Later, Kuniko’s friends met her at a coffee place. Just then, there was a news report about attacks in United States of America, which proved power of Karin’s strategy. Ryoko was also monitoring the market with her men. Meanwhile, Karin was aghast because someone had copied her system to Maldive. At night, a troop were making its way for a retrieval mission.

Phantom – Requiem for the Phantom #07: The Past

There was a plan to carry out a mission secretly. Meanwhile, at the house, Ein picked up a call that called her to go to a place. Zwei offered to drive her there when Zwei overheard news about mafia. McCunnen drove by and offered Zwei to drive with her. Ein rather walked to the place by herself. In the car, McCunnen chatted with Zwei who was thinking of dying. McCunnen told him not to die so soon as she would give him a better way to die. In the restaurant, Ein’s master reminded her not to let McCunnen steal Zwei away and she was not bothered about it. Other place, McCunnen parted with Zwei as she went to meet a couple of men to discuss terms. On the road, Zwei was driving. Same time, Ein was thinking of her master’s words on the train.

Flashback before Zwei became an assassin; Ein reached other place where she carried out a lonesome mission to follow a man. In the alleyway, the man passed something to Zwei who witnessed Ein killing the man who was a reporter. Ein saw Zwei and chased him, prepared to silence him. He managed to kick her gun away and ran off. Zwei hid in an isolated building where he wished to return to Japan. Time tickled past and he wondered if he could leave but hesitated, as he knew a girl was after his life. He woke to see Ein pointing her gun before him with her master. Her master was impressed with Zwei’s tolerance and his giving Ein a hard time. Zwei passed out.

Back to present, Ein woke Zwei who was sleeping on a sofa for a mission to snatch a package of drugs. Thinking of her master’s words not to let McCunnen steal Zwei, Ein decided not to tell Zwei of anything. Along the railway, Zwei asked Ein of dreams and memories. She told him she knew nothing. She told him about her dreams of colours and wind. She asked him what he would do if he knew about his homeland, as there was no place for killers there. She told him that dreams were illusions. With that, she continued to walk. He followed her. That raining night, at their home, the phone rang. Lizzie called Zwei to go to McCunnen’s place as bodyguard. Zwei told her that Sycthe had already issued an order mission for him. Ein told Zwei to go ahead and passed him their car key. Other place, McCunnen told her superior over the phone that she had a plan to bury Scythe and his puppet. Meanwhile, as Ein went for her mission, Zwei told her to be careful.

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood #07:

Ed was shocked to see the library already destroyed. On top of the building, Lust confessed to Gluttony that she had burnt the building. In the underground tunnel, Scar walked and noticed something adnormal. Gluttony and Lust appeared and attacked him. Meanwhile, Roy and his team were still searching for Scar when an officer reported an explosion at underground tunnel where Scar’s blood stained coat was found. Havoc was assigned to clear up the area and to find Scar’s corpse. Gluttony and Lust were watching from the crowd and were disappointed as Scar had escaped.at the destroyed library; Marie and her colleague – Danny were assigned to protect Ed. Marie told Ed of the ex-librarian and set off to find Sheska. Sheska screamed for help from the bottom of her books in her house. Ed and Al dug her out. She told her of her sadness when she was fired for reading during her working hours. Ed asked her of books read by Marco. She remembered all the contents and offered to duplicate the contents for them. Ed and Al were impressed and took the duplicated notes back to read. Ed gave something for Sheska’s effort. In their apartment, Ed and Al set on to decode Marco’s alchemy notes. Danny brought Sheska to see them as Ed’s money to her helped her got through her difficulties. Al told her of her impressive memory. Hughes came along to visit them. Hughes told them of the library’s destruction along with the books. Ed and Al recommended Sheska to Hughes who gave her a job to reproduce the contents of the books. After Hughes dragged Sheska away, Ed and Al resumed their researches and decoding. 10 days passed and Danny and Marie saw Ed and Al’s frustrations after they decoded the data, as the raw material for Philosopher’s Stone was sacrifice of living human beings. Ed told them not to let other people know. Danny and Marie told Armstrong of Ed and Al’s current state. In the room, Al tried to coo Ed to eat. Ed was still depressive and told Al that he had something to tell him when Armstrong broke into the room trying to confort them of their terrible findings of Philosopher’s Stone. Ed thought of the truth behind the truth and suspected they had missed something important. Armstrong told them of a lab no 5, which was not in use. Ed found the lab suspicious as it located next to a prison. Ed suspected prisoners had been used as raw material. Armstrong knew they were poking into something political and offered to take the lead to investigate. He warned Ed and Al not to investigate. The Elric brothers broke their promise shortly as they sneaked into the sealed lab. Because of his big size, Al had to stay outside the building. Ed sneaked his way into the building and found its light on. Outside the building, an armor attacked Al.

Shangri-La #05: Crazy Hurricane

Momoko recognised the man as Polka and Kuniko kicked him. He pulled her to a side and yelled at her and stormed off. Momoko stated he was a soldier, probably stalking them. On the computer screen, Karin was monitoring their activities. Later in the old men’s shop, the old men introduced Momoko and Kuniko their new technologies that could send Kuniko into illusion world of battle game. She had a gun to shoot the approaching robots. Along the world, she could see windows that showed her other areas in the real world. She saw Polka and his colleague having a trade with a shopkeeper in return for a trip to Atlas. They wanted information from the shopkeeper. Kuniko saw Karin’s talking teddy bear, which evolved into Karin’s appearance and vanished from the computer world. Karin returned back to real world in panic. Back to real world, Kuniko questioned the old men about another girl in the computer world which they knew nothing about. Other place, Mikuni was asking for Sayoko and Momoko’s friend had to calm her down with stories of underworld. She told Mikuni about Momoko and her Tropical Fish shop. In a room within Altas, a researcher was inspecting her human prey on her examination table. In the town, Polka ran into Kuniko again and Momoko stated it was fate and left the two of them together as she ran off. Kuniko asked Polka how Altas was like and she confessed that she had seen it before. Polka told her that people were moving there according to government plan and told her off for being a guerrilla who destroyed the Earth by increasing carbon in the air. Kuniko insisted she was not part of Metal Age. Suddenly, alarm sounded and rain fell. Ice bergs begun to fall. Kuniko and Polka hid under a building and Polka told her that his glasses were just a disguise. Kuniko told Polka that she and her people had harder life and she wanted to protect them. In an abandoned place, they kept themselves warm by a fire. There, Polka told Kuniko more of Altas that was just like any average city. Kuniko introduced herself and Polka told her his real name was Kunihito. He told her that someday, everyone would eventually live in Altas and Kuniko was displeased with the drag of time. She attacked Kunihito and argued that he was staying in a good city and ignorance of the suffering of her people. She ran off. Kuniko ran and met Momoko. She apologised for losing her own weapon. Later, Kunihito told his colleague about Kuniko who had took away his devices. Back at home, Kuniko showed others the device. The others praised her eventhough it was just a sample. Kuniko showed them a toy that her grandmother was uneasy of it. In a meeting room, Karin harassed the government officer again via Internet.

Dragon Ball Kai #04:

At Chichi’s house, her father came to visit Gohan but the latter was not there as he and Goku had already went to Bulma’s place. As Goku’s corpse vanished, the others knew Kami might have intended to get Goku do something for him. Kukirin told Bulma of Raditz’s device that could detect opponent’s strength level. Bulma examined the device. Gohan was taken away for training by Piccolo who regrew his lost arm. In heaven, Yama analysed Goku’s achievement. Goku asked on his elder brother – Raditz who was sent to Hell where he created commotion. Yama had managed to put him down after some difficulty and Goku was impressed. Meanwhile, Goku was taken to Kaio for training via a car ride. On Earth, Kukirin vowed to bring Goku back to life by finding the dragon balls. He and others went back to the house. In heaven, Goku went to snake road, which would lead him to Kaio’s place. On Earth, Kukirin was having problem converting Goku’s death to Chichi and her father. In the end, he could not say the truth. Piccolo, meanwhile, took Gohan to a place. Gohan started wailing for his father. Piccolo told Gohan his father’s death. Gohan remembered the last moment before his father’s death. Piccolo warned Gohan not to cry and that in a year’s time, something terrible would happen. In the meanwhile, Piccolo would train him. To unlock and prove his power, Piccolo threw Gohan to a cliff, which Gohan could explode it with his ki (energy). Piccolo was speechless, knowing Gohan could be a fearful opponent in future. Gohan was not interested in fighting but more in scholar. Piccolo yelled him to get himself trained in fighting so as to face off the enemy in a year’s time. In heaven, Goku was still running along the snake road.

Dragon Ball Kai #05:

After much wining, Gohan was forced to train himself under Piccolo. Piccolo was going to leave him in the wild for six months to make himself tougher. Piccolo flew off, ignoring Gohan’s protest and crying. In heaven, Piccolo’s elderly sensed some change in Piccolo after he killed Raditz. While Gohan was crying away on Earth, Goku was confident that his son would become stronger as he ran along snake road, which was full of traps. On Earth, Gohan was forced to face wild beasts and ended up on a high mountain. On Earth, Bulma and others were not happy that Kukirin was unable to tell Chichi of Goku’s death. At night, Gohan was hungry when an apple fell mysteriously to him as he found no food. It was from Piccolo who monitored him from the sky. Next morning, Gohan woke and wailed over being trapped on a mountain. Other place, Chichi and her father were hunting for Goku and Gohan. In the house, Bulma was examining Raditz’s device and tested it on others. Yajirouma came along to visit them to pass them a message to get them to the tower to be trained by Kami with him. He also told others that Goku did not want to be revived until a year later as he wanted to be trained in Heaven. As he left, Chichi and her father – Ox king came. Roshi was anxious, as he had not start writing letter on Goku’s death to them. Ox King greeted them happily while Chichi called for Goku and Gohan. Roshi told them that Gohan was taken by Piccolo and Goku was died. Chichi fainted. On a full moon night, Piccolo continued to watch Gohan from afar. Gohan watched the full moon in wonder, as it was the first time he saw that. He started to change into a giant gorilla, leaped down the mountain, turning mountains around him into stones. Piccolo was shocked as he could destroy the planet before the other Saiyajins arrived in a year’s time. He recalled Raditz’s words about full moon that could turn their power into full level. He shot the moon and exploded it into dust. Gohan returned back to normal. Piccolo stated he had never imagine Gohan could transform and knew the secret of Goku and Gohan’s strength as well as their tails due to their Saiyajin blood. He wondered if he should destroy Gohan’s tail. He torn off Gohan’s tail and gave him the same clothes and weapon as his father used to wear. He told Gohan not to give up as he was prepared to train him into a full demon. With that, Piccolo flew off. The night worn away as Gohan and Goku slept, but in different worlds.

COMMENT: WTF, I never know moon can be destroyed like that, this anime is more exaggerating than I initially thought.

Shangri-La #04:

Kuniko was deep in thought as she sat on her usual place at home. Mikuni was glad when the last person (Momoko’s friend) passed her test to become her new lady-in-waiting. She saw Mikuni’s earring, which she thought she had seen somewhere. Other place, Momoko had the same earring as she went to sit with others for food. She started to relate their failure in Altas. On the street, Kuniko’s friends asked her on Altas and she did not comment anything much as she was in confusion why people were not allowed to go to Altas, which was much larger than Domos. Karin meanwhile was still hacking organisations’ carbon level data. At home, Kuniko was having meal as she wondered where her grandmother went to. In the hall, her grandmother was reading carbon data on her laptop and she asked Kuniko what she saw in Altas. She told Kuniko to follow her own instincts. In the meeting room, the people of Metal Age were discussing plans about Altas when Kuniko banged in with suggestion about graphite due to recent strange carbon level. She wanted to follow in the mission and her grandmother rejected. Meanwhile, a woman - Ryoko sent her subordinate to Mikuni for errand. Meanwhile, Kuniko and Momoko prepared to set off and their friend tried to stop Kuniko but in vain. He could only hope them well. Same time, Karin found the system duplicated and tried to check again. Meanwhile, Kuniko and Momoko reached another town. Same time, Ryoko’s subordinate was ordered to tell Mikuni more of his stories. In the other town, Momoko and Kuniko were confronted by bodyguards of the town and later, left to explore the town that was full of black market entertainments. They came to a room to ask some people about their Altas ID. They were faced with three weird old men. In other place, Karin’s system allowed her to detect Kuniko and Momoko in the black market shop. In the shop, Momoko complained to the old men about the Altas ID. The old men started talking about past natural disasters. Momoko was not impressed with their topic diversion method. Karin was curious about Kuniko. Later, Momoko and Kuniko stepped out of the shop where Kuniko sold a piece of graphite to a shop holder. They saw a man and Kuniko recognised him.

Mobile Suit Gundam 00 S2 #15:

Ali was confused that he could hear the song sung by the orphans in Catron as he flew off. Setuna was confused with his feeling not to fight at the hearing of the song. At A-Law base, the other Innovator drivers were surprised with Bring’s death. Setuna’s gundam approached Catron’s base and met Marina and others. Setuna collapsed from his injury. Marina was aghast. Meanwhile, Celestial Being was still repairing the main base. Saji and Marie also helped. Tieria believed Setuna would return to the base soon. Celestial Being base approached Catron base. In the room, the Federation colonel thought back of the discussion with his colleague asking him to join the Federation coup. The colonel refused and his friend left. Catron people were discussing about the Federation coup and agreed to continue to monitor the situation. At A-Law, the people were having relaxed moment while waiting for their commander. Kati was looking forward to fighting strategies against Sumeragi. Setuna found himself before an old house and the younger version of him running past him into the house to kill his own parents. He tried to stop the younger him and snatched the gun before running out. He ran into the former Lockon and heard gunshots in his old house. The younger him stepped out and Lockon told him that Setuna could still change. Scene changed and Setuna woke to find himself lying on the bed. Nearby stood Marina and the children. He got up. Marina told him that she put the children’s wishes into the song and he told her that he could hear the song from his Gundam. Some children went to the Catron fighters and asked them about opinions of fighting and told them that Marina and Setuna were having loving moment. In the room, Setuna stated the Marina was more suitable in music performance than as princess. Just then, one Catron member informed Setuna of approaching of Celestial Being base. At Celestial Being base, the staffs were sleeping after a long day when the alarm of enemy presence sounded again. There were 36 enemy mobile suits. Meanwhile, A-Law was in the move. Suddenly, there was attack on the A-Law suits. It was Lockon who shot from far distance. Lockon reached his limit and passed the role to Tieria and Allelujah. The fighters from Innovator used advanced weapon against Tieria. The main base was in danger. Marie begged to be allowed to fight when she saw on the screen Louise driving her previous suit. Meanwhile, Marina sent Setuna to his Gundam suit and he used medicine to delay his bad condition. He set off. In Celestial Being base, Saji was upset with involved in the battle. Suddenly, the news of the Federation coup starting reached A-Law. Setuna also received the news and he was being confronted by enem suit. They fought. Setuna was shocked that the enemy also had Trans-Am.

Rewatch Naruto #143:

Asuma, Kurenai and the prisoner guards were sent for medical treatment. Shizune led a team after Mizuki and were soon overpowered. Despite Tsunade's protest, Naruto ran with Ton Ton after Mizuki, hoping to be led to Orochimaru eventually. Iruka was being dumped by Kakashi with Paakun the task to go after Mizuki and to call Naruto back. Meanwhile, Mizuki took Raijin and Fuujin to his former girlfriend - Tsubaki's house and when she pleaded him not to commit anymore errors plus telling him how Naruto had saved Konoha during Orochimaru's invasion, Mizuki punched her unconscious and left off. In the woods, Iruka found Naruto and knowing his nature, they went after Mizuki together. Ton Ton was called to go back to Konoha and Pakun proceeded with leading the two in finding Mizuki. They found Shizune who led them to a trap laid by Raijin and Fuujin but Iruka had already seen through Mizuki's disguise as Shizune due to the unnatural acts as a squad leader. Iruka and Naruto faced off Mizuki, Raijin and Fuujin. Mizuki fought Iruka while Raijin and Fuujin faced off Naruto. Despite his countless clones, Naruto was shocked that his punches had no effect on the brothers at all.

Phantom - Requiem for the Phantom #04: Assassination

Kwei was waiting at a swim suit shop when Ein finally finished trying out some swim suit. Later, they went shopping around. Later, they ran into a lady whom Kwei accidentially knocked her ice cream, he later treated her and Ein ice cream in a shop. They parted shortly.

Later in the car, they got serious in the memorising the structure of the mall. Ein commented that Zwei's acting skill sucked. In a room, the members of Inferno were discussing about being using Phantom too frequently. In a room, Zwei was looking at his fake passport indicating him with the first name of his victim - Wallace Yang. His and Ein's mission was to assassinate an elderly man. Ein entered the room and briefed him with details with weapons. Later, they went inspecting the mall and analysing ways to shoot their target. Ein noticed Zwei's change of eyes and suggested going back to their rooms. Later, the target entered the mall with his bodyguards. Zwei and Ein monitored the security of the target. Two of the bodyguards stalked Ein. She called Zwei for assistance. Zwei ran to Ein who slapped him in act to fool the bodyguards. When the guards were gone, Ein told Zwei location of their target. When the target made his way to his car, Ein and Zwei prepared to strike. They confronted the car with the target and attacked. Zwei appeared in time to pull Ein away from being shoot. Ein and Zwei's master arrived to fetch them from the scene. The pursuers chased them. Their mission was completed. On the car, Ein and Zwei thought of each other while they had acted as couple in the mall.

In a hall, Claudia praised Ein and Zwei's master. In the airport, Ein and Zwei met the lady whom they had ice cream in a store last time. They bidded farewell to each other. Ein commented that Zwei's acting improved. Later at the laundry shop, Ein collected her items while Zwei waited. In their room, Ein cleaned their guns while Zwei watched television, thinking of their roles that resembled hound dogs waiting for missions. Ein watched him and left for bath. In the bathroom, she thought of her master's comment that Zwei's achievement which had took her longer time to reach. Zwei reminded her of her older self. She thought she might want to see whom she really was and felt Zwei's eyes scary.

Shangri-La #03:

A voice called someone to finish Altas before a child was born and Kuniko woke in shock. In a shop next day, Kuniko told an old lady of her dream and the old lady told her that her mother used to stay in Atlas. Just then, Kuniko's friends called her and pulled her elsewhere. Among the greenery, some men led by Takehiko were watching an approaching train in hiding and attacked it after obstructing its track. In the hall, Momoko's friend wailed as Kuniko and others celebrated her success in winning the lottery to Altas. She told Kuniko of their dream to set up the dream shop in Altas. Momoko arrived and gave her the signpost of 'Tropical Fish' before they had last left their old city, vowing to revive their shop one day. All of them sent her off. Tekahiko also sent her off in nick of time. Later, Takehiko distributed flour but was being scolded by the town people as the military had attacked them because of their stealing of things from Altas. They demanded leaving of Metal Age. Just then, the alarm sounded again. The ice bergs fell from the sky. Kuniko's friends passed her chocolate from Altas and bidded her farewell. In the hospital, Kuniko watched the injured people. Later, she sat alone, looking at the chocolate and told Momoko that she had forgotten everything since she had been living in Altas detention camp. She wondered if everyone would be happy when they reached Altas. She begun to eat the chocolate and decided to go to Altas one day. Momoko smiled at her.

Other place, another girl - Karin was being when her online friends called her. Another place, Hiruko sensed something within her vaccuum zone while her subordinates were discussing their findings in the forest.

In the town, Momoko and Kuniko obtained fake entry cards to Altas from Takehiko so that they could see how Altas was like. They begun their infiltration process through the underground tunnel, disguising as workers to a crowded train. They heard shouts from other Metal Age group from their confinement as they made their way. In other place, Momoko's friend and other people were led to the Moon Palace where they were to leave their belongings behind before they were being sprayed with smoke. Nearby, their belongings were burnt. Momoko's friend was horrified and tried to resist but the people shot needles at her and put her to sleep. When she came to, she found herself before Hiruko who was asking for her medication. Confused, the friend took a tray towards Hiruko. Other place, Kuniko and others made their way through a sensor and the alarm sounded when Kuniko went through. They ran through a closing trapdoor and continued to run. Same time, another lady commanded the shooting of intruders. Meanwhile, Kuniko and others were making their way through the stopped machines and were attacked by rifle shoots. They ran. Kuniko noticed how small Doumo was from the top. Takehiko pulled her away as she was in a daze looking at the scene. She told Momoko her confusion. They felt vibration and knew it was Altas earthquake. They managed to make their way to other side of another building. Kuniko continued to rant her confusion of the giant house that was Doumo where she and others had been living for a long time.

One Piece Issue #540:

Luffy and others made it through into Level Six to save Ace. Luffy was horrified to find Ace's cell empty. The other prisoners told Luffy that Ace had been taken away through the lift and urged him to hurry. Finding that the lift was locked and not operable, they decided to climb up. The path was blocked and so was the staircase. Gas begun flooding in. Iva suspected it to be sleeping gas. At floor 1, outside the lift, one of the main warder had Ace pinned to the ground by his head. Ace was hoping the rumor about Luffy's presence was a lie. At level 6, one of Iva's helpers - Inazuma was cutting up the floor like paper to block the gas. Iva stated that Inazuma had ate the Choki choki no mi and had became a scissorman. Knowing the situation, Iva told Luffy that Ace was probably handed over to the Marine HQ and told Luffy to give up and to leave the rest to Whitebeard. Luffy stated that he would also go to Marine HQ to follow Ace. He refused to give up (AU: this part reminds me of Naruto). His attitude reminded Iva of Dragon. Just then, one prisoner told Luffy to release him as he could open great hole in the ceiling of the room. Luffy was shocked to see Crocodile, Mr O, the former leader of Baroque Works, there and remembered him as the one who tore Vivi's country. Iva suggested releasing Mr O as he was important for the mission, besides Iva knew Mr O's weakness and was not worried for his possible betrayal. Other prisoners called Iva to free them too and were being silenced by his Death Wink. One prisoner pleaded for his release as he was close with Ace. Touched by his sincerety, Iva agreed to let him go. With two new comers, they decided to go for their next move.
